Ive gotten two tattoos here so far. My husband got his first tattoo here as well. Really friendly people, and great artists! Zach is awesome!!!! They also do piercings here!Its also a cute comic shop with funko pops, really cool selection.

Went in to get a tattoo today from Myka at the shop!! Her work is amazing along with her personality. She asked me if I was okay and tolerating the pain throughout the tattoo. And the shop in general has a very positive environment and everyone feels like family there. From the customers to the artists themselves! I will already be planning my next tattoo at the shop and I can’t wait!! If you’re looking to get a tattoo from awesome artists and a positive environment go to the shop!!

Ok, so lets start with the bad news first. I had to drive nearly 3 hours to this place in lil ol Alamosa, CO from Colorado Springs! Thats it for the bad news 😂. I can say, without a doubt, that the drive is well worth it! For one, this is a Tattoo & a Comic shop!!!! How freaking cool is that!?!?Anywho, they have a TON of comics both raw and graded. Lots of stuff on sale. Plenty of statues, figures, Funko pops and more to satisfy the most insatiable collector. Oh and lets not forget about how AWESOME the staff is ❤️👍!!! I had great conversations, and they were very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. They even helped cut me a deal when I realized I was buying too much and had to put some of the stuff back, they cut the cost for me (I bought 96 comics 😬).I have been to a lot of comic shops and Ive seen some good ones and some bad ones. This is definitely one of the few great ones that Ive been to! Its extra awesome that everyone nerds out to include the tattoo artists and you can talk shop about anything. Now I cant say how well the tattoo and piercing experience went since I did not get one, but by the looks of all the portfolios I would say its a pretty darn good experience if you need to go get one lol.You can count on me coming back. The only problem is I probably can only come once in a blue moon since it is way out there. But The trip is worth it if you live up north in Colorado Springs or in Denver.

I honestly thought that I would walk in and then get laughed out, but Im so happy that I was wrong. I thought theyd laugh at me for being a bit of a wimp, wanting odd tattoos, or for being basic, but like I said, I was wrong. Everyone there, even customers (at least the ones I saw), are extremely polite and friendly. The tattoo artists constantly check on you to make sure youre handling the pain, and that youre not going to pass out, I wouldnt want someone to pass out on me either. I didnt come close to passing out from the pain, but I almost fell asleep from being relaxed and I could easily handle the pain, and Im a wimp, lol. So far I only have 2 tattoos now, both from here and I plan on getting the rest here as well, I even have an appointment this Saturday to get another one. Sometimes they do walk-ins, sometimes youll need to come back later in the same day, or youll have to make an appointment. I only glanced at the comics and collectibles, nothing really caught my eye, but thats just me, I collect alcohol bottles, I also dont do piercings, I just come here for tattoos. I cant compare prices to other places since this is the only place Ive been to, but the paw print was either $130 or $160, and Lucario was about $250. The paw print took about 45 minutes, and Lucario took about 1.5 hours.

Zach was awesome ! My nephew and I drop in last minute at 4pm . For matching tattoos for my 69TH birthday he did without hesitation ! Great guy great job ! Setting up my 70th next already....

I arrived at 330 on a Tuesday knowing the business closed at 7 , the gal at the front desk was super chill and greeted me happily. She took the tattoo design and scheduled me for 530 the same day!!!I came back and met my artist , Adam , He took a piece from the picture I gave and made it look phenomenal…His attention to detail was awesome !!! I walked out 4 hours later with the most amazing piece of art !!!! I WILL BE MAKING THIS LOCATION AND ARTIST MY PLAXE FOR TATS MOVING FORWARD!!!Clean , safe, awesome pricing , most of all the employees care and will give you the best experience ever!!!Thanks Adam and crewKevin Cobb

I just had a session with Adam and he was AMAZING! Not only his he great, but so is the rest of the staff. The environment is very relaxed and comfortable. I has having a hard time sitting still and getting through the pain in the end, and he was patient and kind reminding me that I was doing great. His work was amazing and I now have a new favorite artist in town!Thanks so much!

These are some of the most awesome people.in the whole San Luis Valley. if you are into comics or looking for a piercing or tattoo, the. You have to stop in and check them out. I guarantee theyll help you out with whatever you need.

We stopped in on $45 small tattoo Friday when visiting from Ohio. Myka was so diligent about getting us in and was super concerned with making sure we got what we wanted. She was so much fun while tattooing us. It is so evident that she cares about this business and we left completely satisfied and ready to go back.

This place is absolutely amazing! I got a double nostril piercing from Myka! She was so professional and made sure that the piercing was in exactly the right place. She talked to me the whole time and made sure I was ok. I’ve never had a better piercing experience and 100% will come back again for any other piercings!

Stopped in to get a small tattoo, everyone was friendly and super attentive. Great energy/vibe inside the store. Highly recommend and if im ever in town i will definitely come back.

Me and my wife visited while on our anniversary. Showed up to make an appointment and they just took us in right away. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. My wife got tattooed by Zack and I was done by Jason. The only bad experience I had was the dude that was telling me that he would not get tattooed there and tried to get us to go somewhere else. He was there to get his piercing checked. I highly recommend them.

Everyone is so friendly at the shop! My fiance is a collector of the figurines they have and its nice that the workers recognize us everytime and help us out with our selection process. Its hard to find collectibles at a reasonable price and the shop does a good job 👏

Ive had one piercing and one tattoo done (tattoo was for my birthday) and my husband has had one tattoo done here. My husbands was done on a Friday and qualified for their $45 Fridays. I feel horrible forgetting our tattoo guys name, but, he was awesome! Very professional and made us feel comfortable. his work is detailed and the healing time was so much shorter compared to other shops Ive been to. He did an anchor for my husband and my zodiac constellation. Very clean, very friendly environment. Im not personally one for comics but, their selection of Funko Pops and other figurines is insane! In a good way lol whether youre into Marvel or DC or, like me, Nightmare Before Christmas lol, they have so many different options! we will definitely be going back either for more tattoos or Funkos! Thank you so much to the staff for being, not just professional, but, for creating such an inviting environment!

Walked in four days ago for a belly button piercing it was an easy 5 minute wait as she set up and we paid the procedure was quick and easy, I would definitely recommend her for others, piercing Is healing well so far

Very happy with my nose piercing. At almost 40, I said “why the heck not?” and popped in. Myka was so professional, friendly and a very calming presence. She took great care of me and made sure I was happy and comfortable the whole time. I’ll absolutely be going back the next time I need to do something a little wild.

I loved this place! The front lady Myka who also did my piercing was so nice and fun. She led me through the process so well and I felt super comfortable. She gave me great advice after on how to take care of my piercing as well. I would definitely go back here and I’ll be recommending it to my friends who also want piercings! The piercing looks so good too.

This mightve been the worst experience Ive had at a comic shop. They dont keep up with their inventory. After 40 minutes of perusing the boxes, they removed an item from the hard fought collection to inform me that it wasnt part of the sale. Then wanted to charge me full price because I didnt have the correct number of books. You see the Catch-22 right? Yeah, prepare to be screwed over. If I could give them a zero, I totally would.

The Shop is hands down the best place to go for all your tattoo and piercing needs. Myka has done all of my families piercings and is so professional and amazing at what she does. I am in the process of getting a full sleeve done by Adam M. and could not be more impressed by the artwork, attention to detail and how wonderfully my tattoos are healing. My daughter has had work done by another artist there, and let me tell you they are all phenomenal. I will always be a loyal customer and I recommend anyone looking for a piercing or tattoo become one as well.

This is my favorite shop I’ve been to, Micah did a wonderful job on my vertical labret and septum, I haven’t had any problems. (Their piercing spray is amazing and works so well.) She was also very gentle when I came in a few weeks later to get it changed. The shop has a comfortable atmosphere

I love The Shop! Staff is always in such a positive and fun mood. Sometimes I stop in just to say hi and kill time even haha. Ive gotten several tattoos from Zach, and I love every one. He takes the time to make sure Im happy with what Im getting, and executes it all so well! Im very proud of the work Ive had done in there. To top it all off, the funko and comics they sell are awesome! One of the funnest shops here in the valley and theyll treat you like a friend. Overall just a place I love to visit any chance I get! If you enjoy art, and tattoos, comics, toys, and collectibles, this is definitely the spot for you to check out. You wont be disappointed!

Walking in this shop is RAD! The comics and characters literally EVERYWHERE was so cool! I got my nose done twice in one sitting and it went so SMOOTH! I’ve had my nose done several times and every time failed except this time!! I didn’t get the girls name that pierced my nose but she was so sweet and so professional! She also pierced my husbands tongue the same day and he’s had previous piercings also fail but not this one! Definitely going back for more piercings soon! So glad I finally found a shop I can trust! I happened to be in town for a few days on a work trip. While roaming town I stopped by and took a look through portfolios laid out in by far one of the coolest concepts for a shop.I found all of the work to be impressive but found myself drawn toward Adam’s work.Over the past few years I’ve been considering getting my throat tattooed and Adam’s style fit the ticket.This is when I got some information from the amazing receptionist who helped me get this thing going. She found time in Adams tight schedule to get me in. Adam heard my concept and was down!The next day I roll up for my appointment, and it seemed like everyone at the shop was just as excited for my tattoo as me. During the next three hours Adam patiently sat and did some of the most meticulous work I have on my body. Dude is a BEAST. Not only will I recommend getting tattooed here, but I’d recommend getting a sick trad piece from Adam. I’ll be making a few more trips out this way for some up coming work I want done.This is THE shop

The Shop is one of my favorite places! The work Zach does is phenomenal and I will not go to another tattooist! Myka is an amazing person and she, Zach, and the rest of the staff are awesome to talk too and really make you feel comfortable and welcome. The prices are criminally low, but its because they want to have something for everyone. The comics and merchandise are excellent. The Shop is honestly one of the best places in the valley. I highly recommend them!!!

Got my dream catcher rose antler tattoo added around the feathers I already had by Adam N and I am in love! Came out AMAZING! He did Ana amazing job and was so nice! Will definitely be going back to him!

The Shop owners are the best. They genuinely care about you as people not only as customers. They are friendly and easy to talk to. They have a very wide variety of Funko Pops as well as statues. They also have a great selection of comic books and their pricing is great on everything! The tattoo artists are great to talk to while they are working and do amazing work. After the tattoo is done they will check in with you to make sure everything is going okay with you as well as the tattoo itself. I don’t trust a lot of people to tattoo me but I do trust The Shop.

I love the work that was done and the artist Zach I believe his name was, he did a great job Honoring my dog mocha in the tattoo. Overall I had a really good experience. My mom s even going to get something added to her tattoo.

Some Buddies and I are on a road trip and we heard they did $45 tattoos and we called them up and went. They have great vibes. Wonderful people to talk to. Zach is a great tattoo artist. The pieces came out great. 10/10 I would go again! Wonderful place for people who love comic books and tats.

I came here during a road trip with some friends and saw that there was a deal for $45 tattoos on Friday. My artist was Zach, and he did perfect work. Hes also a great guy to talk to, very friendly. Myka was working the counter and she was also a blast to talk while my friends were getting their tattoos done, a great taste in comics. Definitely plan on returning if Im ever in town again.

My favorite artist is Zac! He is full of world experience and is fun to talk to during a session. He also does amazing work!

Micha (I don’t know how she spells it, sorry!) was absolutely amazing! I got my nose pierced and my 10 year old daughter had her ears pierced. She was so professional and did so amazing with my daughter, reassuring her and making sure she knew she was doing great! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! The shop is just amazing, especially if you love comics and figurines! I love this place!

Me and 4 friends were in town on a trip and decided to get matching tats. The store has 45$ Fridays for small tattoos and we took advantage. Service was very quick and the pieces look amazing. This store is awesome, the vibe is sick perfect place for comic book fans of any genre. Zach was our artist and the coolest guy Ive ever got ink from and I will never forget the experience!

I found out about this shop online and scheduled an appointment to get my tongue pierced right away! I called the shop and the receptionist (who was also my piercer) was so professional and beyond kind! The employees were very friendly, the store was kept super clean and under capacity and the Comics were even better! Such a cool experience!Back to my piercing- it only took days to heal and they provided me with all information on how to properly take care of my piercing. She walked me through every step of the way and made things fast and easy! 💜

Absolutely loved this shop. In and out in 20 minutes with a fast, clean, and cheap nose piercing, while my husband browsed comic book figures (and got one at a great deal!) and our tire was replaced down the road. 10/10 will get pierced there again when I’m in town.

I came here while on vacation and noticed the $45 tattoo Fridays sign so I walked in and hoped it wasn’t too good to be true. And it was true. $45 for a small tattoo. They had a book of tattoos to choose from but asked if I had one in mind and I did so I sent it to them and they said they could do it no problem! So I got my little ghost tattoo on the back of my arm. The artist was great, gentle and very social-able. If I’m ever in town again I will absolutely be back!

Ive gotten all my tattoos done here since 2016. Unfortunately, the entitlement people get when they get too comfortable can cause them to lose long-term customers. Hopefully staff here starts to focus on the quality of the work and making the space comfortable for customers, rather than doing what they think is best to make the best profit. Will not be going back.

My wife and I stopped in to get her nose pierced. Myka greeted us and was AWESOME! She is super sweet and professional. Explained the procedure in good detail. She used excellent asceptic technique and gave great aftercare instructions. She looks so cute with her new piercing! Fantastic job Myka! 👍😁

The Shop is the best place to get a tattoo in the Valley! Zach did an awesome job and it is also child/family friendly. I will be returning soon for more work on my tattoo and a cover up for an old one. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Excellent tattoo shop with a lot of cool comics. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and the tattoo artists do a very great job. Im very happy with the quality of the tattoos Ive gotten there. I frickin love The Shop ! I’ve gone here for probably 5 or 6 piercings now and my girl Mika always hooks it up ! She also helps me change out piercings when switching to new jewelry which is super rad. I’ve gotten a few tattoos here as well and am always pleased with the results! All around really friendly atmosphere and cool comics and stickers :)

I finally decided to get my nose pierced at almost age 59. We walked in without an appointment. Myka greeted us when my husband and I arrived to get my left nostril pierced. She was very sweet & professional and explained everything very well. I spent almost 40 years in healthcare and I’m still a BIG Weinnie….. Myka tolerated me well and I tolerated the procedure. I definitely recommend her for nose piercing. 😇

On Feb 10th, I tried to schedule an appt via facebook to have a tattoo done. I was coming from out of state and was going to be in town for a couple of days only. The person that was replying on dm was vague about the appt. and would not provide availability. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY CUE. So I had my best friend drop by and ask for availability. In oder to get set up an appt. I had to pay $50.00 and I was ok and understood that. I had sent via dm what I wanted to have done. On 02/16 at noon, the day of my appt. the woman running the front of the store introduces me to Adam. Then Adam shows me what he has drafted. I suggested a change, he went to the back to make the modification. We asked the woman for Adams portfolio and I did not see any tattoos that were close to what I wanted ( I asked for a portrait tattoo in the initial request). I asked the woman, if Adam knew how to do a realism tattoo and she said that he does not do portrait tattoos and he was not good at it and I should go somewhere else. if that was what i was looking for. At that point I changed my mind, and I said to her that I would like to do something else and she said that I would have to pay again. That I could NOT use the deposit for something else. I was not happy with the lack of communication. They kept my money and was looking for more! I was not looking for a refund I simply wanted to use the deposit towards an elementary tattoo! BUYER BE WARE!

I am from South Dakota and went to visit my sister and her family in Colorado. Wanting a tattoo covered my sister suggested to try this shop first; and in a nutshell I can say I LOVE This shop!Fresh, cozy atmosphere, Great costumer service including recommendation to go about covering a tattoo and scheduling an appointment time.Getting my cover up tattoo done I was pleased with customer service, time lines, comfort, and results of end product. Im sure there might be things Im forgetting to say but its all around awesome place! No doubt Id recommend to anyone!In fact, I went back a second time and got another tattoo the very next week and all the above still applied.And with my second tattoo it was nice configuring new art work with advise and comments and just trusting in the tattoo artists visions.I plan to visit my sister and her family yearly; and I plan to be scheduling yearly tattoos with The Shop and to achieve a sleeve one tattoo at a time.

I got my nipples pierced and my piercer did an amazing job of distracting me with wonderful conversation while she did the piercing. Clean and friendly energy. Highly recommend checking it out.

Zac does an amazing job here with tattoos. Hes now tattooed me 5 times, always a fair price and of course does an absolutely amazing job at details and listens to what you want done. The most recent hes done my dogs paw prints on me and they look perfect!Will always be going back to him!

Love the work Ive gotten done by large! Its everything I wanted and he was able to cover tattoos for me twice with no trace of the old. Love the sleeve I have started and cant wait to finish! The shop for its self is a friendly atmosphere and myka and zack are always so nice when you go in ! Plus the merchandise they sell is awesome!

On a road trip and discovered this gem! Great selection of comics and Myka kicked a$$, making my son feel very comfortable during his (first) piercing (nose), my wife also got a nose piercing and both were 100% pleased with process and results!

I have been going to the shop for 2 years for ink and comic book things. Myka and Zach are my favorite persons in the world. They are professional and really good at what they do. The price is comfortable and they always do fantastic work. I will not go to anotjer artist or piercer.

Although I can vouch for the quality, cleanliness, and professionalism of the tattoo and piercing aspects of The Shop, Im a customer of the comics and collectibles portion of the store.Its a great place for intro readers in the San Luis Valley because of their large selection of recent books, dollar issues, and trade paperbacks and hardcovers. In addition to being the only comic shop in the valley, they also have a great selection of statues, busts, Funkos, and action figures. They also have a growing collection of graded comics, and a great collection of custom pieces.

We walked into the shop and they were able to accommodate us on the spot. Micah did our piercings and Zach did my tattoo. Both were friendly and vey professional. Very pleased with everything.

We loved our experience here. The shop gave me and my boyfriend awesome tatoos that were meaningful and at a reasonable price. It was nice to hang out and chill, while each other got work done. He treated my family great and Im blessed for the work he did for us. Alamosa, this is the place to go without getting taken advantage of money and quality wise. Hit these guys up, ask for Zach, he did our work, but all the artists do great work.

Everything about this place is amazing, the people especially the owner are amazing! The owner is such a down to eath guy,. I have been going frequently over the past days, and I will never get bored! They also have beautiful tattoos and piercing every time I am in there I have seen one of the best tattoos ever!

Super friendly and experienced staff. Had my daughters ears pierced there a couple days ago and my other daughter got a septum piercing. Myka was great at explaining the process and the after care.

My family and I went to go get my daughters nose and my sons industrial done before we went home from our vacation. The place is a great place to go and visit the atmosphere is great and we had the great pleasure of meeting myka thier peircer. She is awesome, very prefessional and great to talk to. I absolutely love The Shop, I have gotten all except one tattoo from them. Zach one of the tattoo artist is the only artist I will allow to put art on my body. The experience is amazing and the people who run it are even more amazing.
