Regeneration Tattoo

I have had four tattoos done at Regeneration, and every single one has been an awesome experience. I’ve worked with a different artist every time, and every one has taken the time to draft exactly what I want out of my new piece and put it on my skin with utmost precision and care. Don’t hesitate - if you’re looking for new ink, this is place.

I absolutely love this place! I came in for a traditional tattoo with Heather. She was super friendly and made sure I got exactly what I was asking for, and the vibes in theshop were great. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new tattoo.

Amazing experience. Got my first tattoo here. Edwin Marquez was great. The team was super sweet, helpful, and not judgemental. I wanted my first tattoo to be simple line art, and other places were rude / off about it. Regeneration was perfect and informative. Super clean space, and overall just felt SO comfortable. Highly recommend, especially for your first! Edwin was open about pain tolerance / taking it easy if I had an issue. Not only was it extremely painless, but the whole experience made me super relaxed. My tattoo is everything I wanted & I will definitely be back! Thanks a bunch xoxo

Ive been going to Regeneration Tattoo for a couple years now. As a woman who typically goes to appointments alone, its really important for me to go somewhere I feel safe and comfortable. Its always a great experience, and it keeps me coming back. Ive only been tattooed by Frankie, but have only had positive interactions with the other artists at the shop. I cant recommend Frankie enough. He always exceeds my expectations and I fully trust his expertise and advice when it comes to placement and size. Frankie takes his work seriously and it really shows in the quality of tattoo.

Sylar helped me fix a tattoo I had done by someone else and he’s amazing. He took the time to talk about what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Much happier with my tattoo now!

I have over 50 tattoos, have been to shops all across the nation, and regen has been my favorite. The staff are incredibly talented and very welcoming. They even stayed open late to do a walk in for me. If you want a great piece of art to display on yourself proudly, this is the spot to get it.

Super professional and its a nice shop. Danny did our tattoos and he was great. It was our first one and he talked it through with us and made my sister and I feel very comfortable with everything!

My friend and I each got tattoos from Sylar at regeneration tattoo yesterday and they did an absolutely incredible job!! they were extremely professional and exceeded all of our expectations. Sylar was super nice, easy to work with and talk to, and an amazing artist. The studio was super clean and the artists do an amazing job keeping their spaces clean and making sure you have a great overall experience. 10/10 would get my next tattoo with regeneration!

Me and my partner went in yesterday to get walk in tattoos, first of all I wanted a neck tattoo behind my hair and the guy argued with me and swore at me and upcharged to much for a NECK tattoo And my partner wanted something specific and the walk in guy was being completely rude to us about it even though he wanted to get something meaningful. I will say I like my tattoo but not the placement. And my partner is very disappointed about his tattoo. If I could give 0/5 stars I would. Save your money and go to redemption they are so much better than this hole in the wall. Save your money and go somewhere else instead of this place and if you do go here DO NOT GO FOR A WALK IN. Trust me you would want to save your money before spending it on the walk in guy who is so so rude and will tattoo what he feels like tattooing, not what you want tattooed. Also may I mention this place is so disgusting and so dirty.

So far I came in for a consultation with Frankie for a Roman themed sleeve and to have some other tattoos re done. He seen me right away and we went over everything and are working out the theme for my tattoo in all grey and black ink. I’ll post another review when we’re done or after our first session. Maybe do a review after each one and log how it’s going. But so far great experience

Absolutely one of the best tattoo shops in Boston. I had an amateur tattoo I got as a teenager that went all the way down my ribs. I wanted it covered up, but multiple artists had told me it couldnt be due to its size. The second I showed it to Frankie I could see the gears turning in his head. He ended up using much of its original shape but completely reworked it, covering up the old one flawlessly while barely making it larger. It went from being a scratchy blown out mess to a beautiful American traditional piece. Hes currently doing my sleeve and I couldnt be happier!

My overall experience as someone who received their very FIRST tattoo here, went tremendously well. Sylar was great! He even enlightened me at the end on how to care for my tattoo until it heals. I will definitely be returning soon for more ink!

I think it’s time I update my last review, it’s been a while since I wrote it I think in June when I first came here to get a sleeve done in black and grey realism. I had to stop coming after my second session and later I went to another artist to rework what was done here and to continue my sleeve, the artist said the work wasn’t good at all and would not last before it fades which it was already doing. He said whoever did your work didn’t even go by the reference for the shading and just drew shapes and shaded it in. I wanted realism and the artist could not do realism but took the work on anyway. We all know sleeves are a lot of work and money and I’m happy I went somewhere else to finish it and re work the ones I got here but I still have to have it touched up again. My new sleeve I’m going to an amazing artist who can actually do realism and I’d recommend this guy but if you want realism don’t go here

I got my first tattoo here yesterday as a walk-in, and it was overall an awesome experience! The shop is clean, bright and airy inside and fully staffed with all of the artists working (Saturday). I must have pretty good timing because one of the artists, Danny Kingz, was free to start working with me right away. He made every step of the process comfortable and stress-free and had a gentle touch with the needle. Pricing was right on par with my expectations for Boston custom shops. I would definitely come back!

So impressed with this business! I was able to walk right in and get an appointment within minutes, on a Friday too! I went to two other shops that morning and was turned away briskly, but these guys know how its done. I had Frankie Mejia as my artist and Im THRILLED with the final product! Thanks for a great experience!

I came here on a walk-in to get a forearm tattoo I had been planning for awhile. They were able to accommodate me immediately and had me in the chair within 15 minutes. I had Edwin Marquez (fantastic) as my artist and everything was done well and in a perfectly clean environment. Highly recommend as a tattoo parlor and will come again for more.

Cathy is a fantastic artist and the entire shop is super professional (and clean). Ive been in the chair with Cathy so far for about 9 hours getting a half sleeve done, and shes excellent. I cant say enough about the quality of her work.My wife had a tattoo done here too, with a different artist. She was also extremely satisfied, and the value seems to be good as well.

Ive been tattooed by 3 artists here and they havent failed me yet. Theyre quick, clean, polite, and understanding. 16 tattoos and counting and I think Ive finally found the shop I will be visiting regularly

Called a few days ahead to book an appointment on a Saturday and was told to come in as a walk-in because they allegedly only take walk ins on Saturdays. We walk in as two clients about to both get a 2 inch long tattoo and we were turned away for not making an appointment and we were told our mock ups were appointment needed. I don’t think anyone there actually wants to work. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We will be taking our tattoo business literally anywhere else.

Frankie is an amazing artist, I am so happy to have found him and this shop. Every idea I come to him with he makes 100x better than I could have imagined

They take walk ins, which is a plus; some tattoo artists accept cash only, but there are atms close by. Saw Cyler, and he did excellent work. Overall great experience!

Cathy, Brian M, Edwin, Brian H, Dan, Jenny, and all the rest of the good folks at regeneration make it a great place to have your work done. Talented artists who are easy and comfortable to be around and who respect each other. These are just some of the reasons I choose regeneration over and over . Highly recommend.

I came to the studio as a walk-in to make small tattoo. People there were really nice. My tattoo is great made by Mike who didn’t rush things and was really patient with me 😂. I’m planning on other tattoos and I’m definitely coming back there

Got a tattoo with Leina; professional, clean, respectful, all around very pleasant experience. Would definitely return and I’d recommend it to others. Leina made an effort to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and it came out beautifully.

Shop full of talented artists. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been tattooed many times by Edwin but wouldnt hesitate to work with anyone else in the shop in the future.

This place only care about money. The dude would not tattoo me because the tattoo didnt meet the hour that they want to charge for it. What shame

Cool place but i got a nasty scar on my forearm from getting inked here. I shouldve known by how much it hurt while getting it.

I had called in for a consult. Was quoted 200 for a simple script tatoo. The artist didnt even see me. They just seemed ignore me because i didnt wwant a big tattoo.
