I’m 58 and had my first tattoo with them. Love the way that came out. Amazing tattoo artist. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience. I had an idea for a design and Stephen took that idea and made it even better. He is super knowledgeable about his craft and is very precise. My tattoo came out even better than I expected and the healing process has been a breeze!

I had been wanting to get my second holes (earlobes) pierced so I walked in here on a whim. Bear welcomed me with good vibes so it felt like the right time. He was efficient and calm with a clean set-up.. exactly who I’d want poking holes in my head. Though a bit pricier than expected ($117 total) it seemed to be worth it for this kind of experience. I am pretty sure I cant express how please I was with the experience in words but Ill try.Steven is by far the most professional tattoo artist I have ever met. I had been tattooed before, many years ago, and have not been touched in 20 years. Steven worked with me on my idea and offered solutions to make it even better. His design was amazing. He was funny, professional, understanding, and just a great PERSON. Wow! I cannot wait to go back! I will update with pictures when it is 100% complete and healed.

Booking was done easily, whoever is running the instagram account is very responsive and it was appreciated! I had an appointment with Josh, who was very accommodating and professional. The work under my collar bones looks great! At an affordable price, I would definitely recommend.

Stephen and the staff are very professional! From beginning to end, they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The shop is so beautiful and CLEAN! One of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had! I am so happy with my piece and I can not wait until my next one!

This review has been a long time coming. I HATE my tattoo. Its not even close to what I asked for.During the consultation I had given my price range at around $300. But I was shown by the artist a gorgeous tattoo on google that she said would cost between 400-500+ and during the consultation I told her I did not care about my budget If I can get a tattoo close to the quality of the reference. THIS WAS NOT WRITTEN DOWN, during the conversation and she argued with me at the appt about what I had said I wanted.Because the appt was non refundable and we were talking in front of other clients and people I was extremely Embarrassed and told her that I was okay with the art but I wanted thin line work to match the same quality of the reference. She promised me everything, and more. But the tattoo came out looking inconsistent and odd. Plus I ended up paying over 400 because I said I would for a tattoo like the reference....I also told her I did not care if we only did the line work for the tattoo if the end result needed more time I was willing to get it started. But she finished the tattoo with thick lines and heavy shading. While tattooing other staff looked at it and had blank face expressions and nothing much to say, and she did not even want to take a picture of it. Horrible I just want to cover it up!!

John was great! Super nice and talented. This was my second tattoo and I was looking around for an artist/shop, but many were reluctant to do anything on my darker skin. However, John was very professional, worked on my design idea and came up with something great! It turned out beautiful and its waaaay better than my first one. I highly recommend!

They do great work here. I have two tattoos from here and I am very pleased with both of them. Steve was helped a great deal with transforming the ideas in my head into a tattoo, and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

These guys are awesome, Mike designed a tattoo for my brother and I and he is an A+++ Artist. I dont know where else i would want to go. If anyone is looking for a custom piece or just a simple design Amherst Tattoo can take care of you. Will be calling soon to go back!!

Ive been going to this place for years, even before it was Amherst Tattoo Co. Ive never left there disappointed and have always felt at home with the staff and in the shop itself. Mike Williams is a phenomenal artist and is one of the few artists Ive worked with where its truly obvious he is personally invested in your tattoo and your experience as a whole. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for tattoos or piercings in the Amherst area!

It has been my home base for tattoo work for many years now. Ive also gained from professional to personal relationship with the owner and other artists. Whenever I am there making an appointment or getting tattooed the energy feels like home.

This place is amazing! They have a very comfortable and good atmosphere. The artists are talented and friendly (great line work and attention to detail). And, work is very fairly priced. 10/10 - highly recommend.

Terrible customer service took money from me and wont give it back one of the workers is an alcoholic and is always hungover 10/10 DO NOT recommend

Mike Williams did my back piece it is the most amazing tattoo I could of ever dreamed of. Hes not only an amazing artist but a genuinely kind person.

Haven’t used their service yet but the owner seemed very friendly and can work around your choices while keeping their own expertise in mind.

Amazing artist has done outstanding work on me with such a light hand highly recommend one of the best artist in europe in my opinion.
