Just got my young daughter’s ear pierced by John. Very happy with the piercing and the overall experience. This was a very big deal for my little one and he really couldn’t have been more kind and had a really sincere and sweet disposition throughout the entire process. Studio was spotless clean and environment though hip and cool was doctor’s office sanitary ( honestly likely cleaner than one lol).In all seriousness John was exceptional and we greatly appreciated everything. He gave very clear and specific instructions for care for her ears. Showed her and me to clean them. She even left the shop with a ton of really cool stickers! I’d highly recommend John to anyone.

I came here twice. Once to have a piercing changed and again to have my nose pierced. John was nothing but amazing. Incredibly professional, made me feel comfortable. Explained everything. Made sure I knew how to care for my new piercings and was available after with any follow I’ll questions or concerns I had. 10/10 experience I highly recommend him to anyone !!

I love this tattoo shop. Everyone is extremely friendly and there is such a variety of artists for any type of tattoo you’re looking for. Impeccable work.I personally see Cam for my tattoos. She’s very talented, light handed, and extremely friendly! I will be seeing her again for future tattoos as I’ve been to her twice already, first time was a decently large piece which took about 3 and 1/2 hours. The second time was about a 2 inch tattoo which I didn’t even feel! Cannot wait to go back to her.I also see John for any piercing. He’s extremely educated, knowledgeable, and super professional. He also has a great sense of humor and music taste!Both of them were extremely helpful in the aftercare making sure everything heals properly. Always available for any questions or concerns.I haven’t experienced anyone else tattoo wise but have small talked while sitting for one and the environment is just overall chill and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Recently came in for a dermal for my face John is the absolute best of the best. He’s the only person I’ve trusted for over 10 years to pierce me. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. A perfectionist who will not let you leave unless ur piercing is perfect. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does not only using top quality jewelry but making sure with everything you need to know for aftercare. John is the only person I would EVER trust to pierce me

Piercer was a cocky jerk. He talked down on every other piercing studio on long island and repeated over and over how he was the best. He also made me super uncomfortable saying how he hates how everyones coming in for piercings because theyre trendy...cool? Im confused, isnt this your business to pierce people? It was a really uncomfortable and a super unprofessional experience. While my piercing healed great, and I was told to come back to change the piercing out in a month or so, the experience alone was plenty to make me never return.

Went for a tattoo here for my birthday with my friends and Amanda did my tattoo. As a tattoo artist her work is absolutely fantastic. I absolutely loved my tattoo she did for me. I will definitely coming back to get my tattoo done by her. The shop is also amazing and clean as well. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend coming here :)

Had a simple piece done at South Shore tattoo. Everything about this experience was excellent. Booking was so easy and the person taking the appointment was so friendly. Had guest artist Kevin from Germany. He was awesome! So friendly and worked with me to get the exact design I wanted. Loved the accent too. Even though my piece was simple and probably a breeze to him, he made me feel like it was still very important. Highly recommend this shop. Clean, reasonable pricing, great people. Also, enjoyed the old school rap playing in the background1/19/2024 - had second tattoo done here this time with Bryan. Can”t say enough good things about South Shore Tattoo. Really great vibe in the shop, Bryan was awesome! I get custom things but they are usually pretty simple, and I never get the feeling that it’s not worth their time. Would highly recommend and go back again.

Got my nose pierced ab a month ago with john. truly the best healing process i have ever experienced! i’ve gotten multiple piercings by other piercers but no one has ever compared. john only uses good quality jewelry and he knows what he’s talking ab when talking ab piercings. i will definitely be coming back for my future piercings:)

Amazing tattoo shop! Very clean and professional! I cannot speak on the tattoos as due to far distance I have never came here for a tattoo but very kind hearted and caring individuals work here! I set up a toys for tots box here and due to this shop being far away and not knowing anyone here I thought they wouldnt have collected that many. But let me tell you, they went above and beyond my expectations!!! Sure maybe you will think they had nothing to do with the toy donations. Well I can tell you that you are very wrong. Due to them being such a kind-hearted, friendly, caring and people-friendly shop they brought in all those donations that way so thank you very much!!! I look forward to next year and the many years to come afterwards! (maybe i can even find a small part on my body thats empty so i can come here for a tattoo in the future) lol

I made an appointment to get my tragus earring changed and inquire about getting my daith pierced. John had an incredible selection of quality jewelry and worked within my budget! He never made me feel pressured to spend any amount of money or to make any decisions quicker than I could. I wanted my daith pierced, but upon looking at my ear he said it would be very rough and he wasn’t comfortable doing that. I respect his honesty. He truly cared about my experience. I wound up deciding on a beautiful earring for my helix. The piercing was quick and as painless as possible. John made sure to go through after car instructions. He was kind, patient, and told great stories! I will most definitely be back for future piercings and will recommend John to anyone in need !!

Really solid tattoo shop, super clean and everyone is pretty friendly! Whatever you want done they can definitely do! Ive seen Brian a few times and have always felt safe and comfortable with him (plus his shading is to die for). A few friends of mine have used Cam and have similarly enjoyed her and her work! Great place if its your first time as well.Quick edit:Just wanted to add I also got my nose piercing here, Ive had about 13 ear piercings but only just got around to my nose and their piercing artist is great! Took his time, did a great job placing it and was suuuper clean like... def put some of the other piercers Ive had to shame lol. He was also very helpful with changing out my jewelry a few times when my nose got swollen!

She is very friendly and won’t do anything if you don’t like it, even if that means going back 10 times to make sure the stencil is perfect. Got my nose pierced by John and he was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I even went back when I was concerned it wasn’t healing right and he was able to assure me it looked okay. His jewelery is also def top tier. I have very sensitive skin and it’s been healing great especially compared to when I got my helix done at Utopia. Definitely recommend.

I got my nose pierced by John this afternoon. I arrived 15 minutes early and he took me as soon as I walked in. He helped me pick out my jewelry and we got started (after a $40 deposit, the jewelry was $40 so $80 total for the piercing). His station was very clean and organized, which is definitely important. He was extremely kind, making sure I was okay and he was joking around with me, which calmed my nerves. He thoroughly went over the post care instructions and I was out within 30 minutes. I would definitely get pierced by him again. Extremely knowledgeable and professional!

John is the best piercer on long island. i recommend only him to people. hes super nice and easy to talk to, and makes sure every client is comfortable. hes very very knowledgeable and knows what hes talking about. he also provides top tier jewelry.the tattoo artists are all so kind! every single one of them has such a unique style and have amazing techniques. the building itself is quite comfortable and clean, especially in the tattoo area.

I got my first tattoo ever today from Jesse and I had an overall great experience! Before starting I let the artist know I was nervous and he walked me through the whole process and made me feel more at ease, also the workstation was very clean and he frequently changed gloves so I knew everything was sanitary. I was extremely happy with my tattoo and would not hesitate to go back to Jesse for another!

Got my two tattoos there and will be returning to add more soon. The shop was very clean and attractive - full of awesome artwork throughout. I haven’t had the itch to get a new tattoo in a while. It’s been so long that I really don’t have a relationship with a shop or artist anymore. With that being said my wife and I had recently decided to commentate our 10 year anniversary with matching tattoos. On our way to lunch we happened to drive past South Shore Tattoo. We went inside and were warmly greeted by the young lady at the desk. Very different from most shops who usually seem bothered by customers. The shop was bright , clean and stylish. Camm, our tattoo artist came over to us and was just as courteous. She went to work on our design and tweaked it a few times until my wife was happy. The entire experience was great from beginning to end, so much so we went back a week later for my mother in law to get her first tattoo (bucket list item). Everyone at the shop went out of their way to make her totally comfortable.Today feeling the itch again I went to the shop and had the same experience but this time with Mike the owner. I had no appointment but Mike managed to squeeze me in and banged out a great tattoo. I can’t say enough about this shop. I am completely impressed with their operation. Clean, courteous, professional. I won’t go anywhere else and I highly suggest you do the same if you are interested in getting tattooed. Thanks guys A++

I have been to a few different tattoo shops and never felt as comfortable as I have when I came to this awesomeEstablishment. I got 3 tattoos so far all from Mike Nomy who is unbelievably talented!!! I havent had the chance to work with any of the other artist but Im usually faithful to the one. I have seen the other artists on friends and see the pictures posted of work done and its all impeccable. When I say artist these guys are true to their talent!! The shop is awesome and clean! I will never go anywhere else !!!

The parlors is clean and well maintained. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. I was looking for a new tattoo artist that has creative ideas and can bring my ideas to life. G-Mike was the guy he was kind and assuring while providing any advice you need. i will be back to finish my sleeve. I am very please with my new ink and would recommend that anyone who needs new ink to check them out! you wont be disappointed.

Yesterday I accompanied my daughter to have her navel pierced by John. Neither of us knew what to expect. We arrived a little early and were greeted by friendly workers. John showed up almost immediately and led us down to his workspace. He is extremely perceptive and doesn’t hold back on sharing his wisdom. My daughter (she’s nineteen) was a bit intimidated by the “scary man” (her words) who proceeded to call her out on her life, skills, future plans, etc. Needless to say, it was really enlightening! It gave us both a lot to think about.John was completely professional and made sure that everything was well-sanitized. He even cleaned the iPad screen before my daughter used it to add her information. He changed his gloves multiple times and wiped down surfaces.My daughter was getting nervous about the piercing but he put her mind at ease. It was done quickly and perfectly, with minimal pain. John then gave her aftercare instructions.Upon leaving, we both felt great about the experience. “Scary man” John is competent, intelligent, open, honest and considerate. He’s a great, decent man who knows what he’s doing and offers advice at no extra cost!I highly recommend him to anyone thinking about getting a piercing. We will definitely refer customers to South Shore Tattoo Co.

One of the best tattoo parlors in New York. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely talented. The rates are reasonable and the artistry is better than any others in Long Island. They’re always giving back to the community in some fashion and seek to make clients feel comfortable when there. I’ve even had staff ask me if I wanted in on an order for takeout while being there for a few hours getting a piece done. I’ve been getting tattooed here for the last 6 years and never left dissatisfied.

Jay Gorman gave me a great tattoo! My mother passed away a few weeks ago and I came from Texas to Long Island to see her, but Jay was one of my moms neighbors and his son shoveled snow for her sidewalks and driveway for years. I went to talk to them and let them know what happened to my mom. In talking to Jay, I realized, it was time for a new tattoo and emotionally was thinking of getting an American traditional heart and scroll, Mom. But, that didnt really fit me stylistically tattoo wise, personality wise and she was anything but traditional. 90 years old, lived by herself and still drove, so it had to be something unique and original. Jay and I talked, looked for something that would work and we somehow got to Trash Polka. That was it! She even listened to the Polkas on the radio every Sunday afternoon A Trash Polka Heart and MOM in a banging font.Jays design was killer and everything I wanted and more.The shop was nice, clean and friendly with a nice vibe to get tattooed in.Jay was professional, his application was spot on, but, tattoos should mean something and it basically lasts your entire life, so be happy with it, before the needle hits the skin. His patience and ability to work with the client and make it a joint effort, is huge.Come with ideas, listen to his ideas, make some mutual decisions and put yourself in his hands, youll get a great tattoo and have an outstanding experience.Thanks again Jay!

Amazing shop! I was referred to John after a few bad piercings, I’ll only ever go to him now. I have very sensitive skin, but the jewlery he uses allows my piercings to heal with no problems what’s so ever. He truly is the best piercer on Long Island.I’ve also got two tattoos from Kailee. She’s amazing and extremely talented. I know many people who have gotten tattoos here from other artists, and they all look amazing.This shop is clean and full of talent. I’d give more than 5 stars if i could!

Could one describe a tattoo shop as being cozy? Well that is exactly the way I feel when I first walk in. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the shop is clean; between each tattoo you will see the artists cleaning and sanitizing their respective area. In addition I love their work. I definitely plan on being back again for another piece in a few months.

This was my first tattoo in 15 years and I wanted to be sure I picked the right place. Let me tell you EVERYTHING written about how they make you feel when you walk in, is true and more. This place is like walking into your best friends living room and having a 3 hour conversation. I was so comfortable and at ease the whole time I was there. This establishment is super clean and chill that i’d rate it higher if I could!

Went to Camm for an upper leg tattoo. She is super friendly and actually shares your excitement for the work you want done! made sure my visit was comfortable and easy. very light hand and makes sure you arent in too much pain. and of course, the tattoo looks great! the store itself makes scheduling and payment very convenient as well, with options to text to schedule and pay with venmo and paypal. definitely recommending this shop and artist to any friends or family who want new ink!

I had an appointment with john to get a simple earlobe piercing for my 14 year old daughter. It was never mentioned that i would need a notarized parental consent. I had to go to 2 banks which were closed on a Saturday at 2 pm.The guy at the front told me john could waive the notary but he would not even though it was his mistake and he new I traveled 45 minutes from the north shore. He wasted my day and was not apologetic at all. You do not need a notary if a piercing is not in cartilage. I am sure if i was covered in tattoos or piercings. It would have been fine. Thats just not me, i judge noone but i was definitely judged. If you are in the “ club” don’t bother with this place!

Got about 5 tattoos here including one big piece and they will always be my go-to shop! Every artist has their own style so youre bound to get what youre looking for. Everything is extremelyClean and the overall vibe is super positive!

Kailee Love is the most detailed artist Ive ever been too and she really takes her time with her customers. The other artists are all friendly and super helpful. The building has a great interior too, overall 5/5 experience

There piercers are the worst! my husband got his nose pierced here and they peirced it at an angle so for the past 7 months his piercing never healed and has been irritating him since and they charged use $80! He had to get it re perirced by a professional in another state for $15 also in NY any one can walk into a shop and say their a peircer with absolutely no experience so be carful

Originally wanted music notes down the back of my neck but Nomy came up with an idea to make it more meaningful. I chose the song Free Falling by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and he made the notes to the beginning of the song in a falling motion down the back of my neck. It is my favorite tattoo of all the ones Ive gotten. Professional, talented, clean shop. Highly suggest coming here for your next tattoo!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The artists like to steal artwork from other artists and belittle them and delete comments/block them when asked to credit said original artist. Definitely don’t recommend.
