Tattoo Serenity

I scheduled an appointment for a Medusa piercing with Destiny. She informed me that she had never done one before, and asked if I still wanted to proceed. I agreed to proceed.She did wonderful! It was also my first facial piercing and Destiny made me feel very welcome and at ease. It looks great and I feel great. Thanks Destiny, you rock!

This was my first time getting a larger tattoo and I will highly recommend Steve. He made sure the design was to my liking and communicated clearly. I will absolutely be going back. I have had some not so great experiences with tattoo artists in the past but I’m glad to say I fully trust my artist and I’m confident in his abilities. 10/10

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt so welcomed. The front area was so clean and inviting. Chris took time and sat down to help me figure out exactly what I wanted…and I was a walk-in! My tattoo that he did is the best one I have by far. Chris is the best!

I want to give credit to my piercer, Destiny. She was thorough, professional, and had the softest hands. Normally, getting my nose pierced is uncomfortable, but this time I didn’t feel a thing. She really did an amazing job and I highly recommend her.

My first visit to this shop & I will definitely return! Everyone was very friendly, the ship is clean and comfortable, and Chris does amazing work!

My 14 year old daughter went in with my wife and a friend to get her second piercings on her lobes. Her friend had the owner pierce her and she was in and out, nice and clean as you’d expect from a piercing shop. My daughter, on the other hand, had someone who was clearly new to the game. She pierced her and then struggled to get the threaded hardware in for 10 MINUTES on one ear with similar challenges on the other. She walked out with blood all over her shirt, one piercing was loose and the other wrenched down so tight she can’t turn it, and both bleeding extensively. Wife and daughter left kind of in shock so didn’t raise concern at checkout. I called as soon as they got home and spoke with both the piercer and owner (or at least a guy that claimed he was the owner). The piercer (apprentice) said she’d never worked with threaded hardware before and apologized. She handed me off to the owner who proceeded to tell me she had in fact used that hardware before and he was sorry if I felt I had a bad experience. Really?? Yes, bad experience and worse than what you get at Claire’s at WALMART. Refused to give a partial refund and instead offered me a discount if I got something else done there…sure, that’s gonna happen after this experience. Lying and placating, great customer service. I don’t blame the apprentice here, rather owner decision to assign them to a new skill on clients without coaching.Strongly suggest going elsewhere based on complaint handling alone, spotty talent levels, and overall quality. Shame on them.PS- based on prior reviews, can’t wait to read the response from the owner. Make the right choice here folks, plenty of high quality piercing shops around here besides this one.

I got my third hole done by Jessie and it was an amazing experience! I was so embarrassed because I stood up too fast and felt like I was about to pass out. He was so kind and quickly got me a cup of water and sat with me until I felt better. But to mention, he didn’t make me feel bad about being picky about my piercing placement either (ik it can be annoying to have up make changes). Very good experience and very clean!!

This establishment has an Inviting, professional, and clean environment.All I had walking in was a rough idea made up on my phone, Casey created the perfect representation of it on paper and skin, Inspiring nothing but confidence along the way! Everything went fantastic with the tattoo session, and the vibe inside of Tattoo Serenity kept me relaxed and able to just let Casey work and create for me a piece Ill cherish forever.Big thank you to Casey and Tattoo Serenity for what they are providing here, I look forward to having more work done in the near future!

That was by far the best experience of my life. I’ve been to some good tattoo and piercing places, but not only was the staff very nice and very experienced but my visit was in and out. I got my tongue pierced by Chris, and I WILL be back! And 100% can recommend this place to friends and family!

I’ve been to tattoo serenity twice, once for a piercing and next a tattoo with Steve! Both visits were awesome but Steve is the bomb with tattoos and his attention to detail is excellent, I will definitely book again!

First time ever coming into tattoo serenity and I couldn’t be anymore happier with how my tattoos came out Steve did a totally stellar job and is super knowledgeable and and easy going I can’t recommend him enough.

Chris gets a 5! He was awesome. Light handed, he was awesome to talk to. My mom and I got matching dragonfly tattoos. Its my moms 1st. Best 1st experience. I have 2 tattoos to get redone and will definitely go back and visit Chris for these. Thank you guys! Best experience!!

RE: Your response is simply dishonest. Im not friends with the artist, Ive only ever met her when she was tattooing my daughter. And I actually do have the drawing that was done-an electronic version as well as a full color printed copy. In case you missed one of the most important issues here-custom, personal art tattoos are extremely significant to the canvas. Why would I start over with someone else, when I was extremely happy with the original artist? And we both know what you said about those women-youre practically saying it again in your response to my review, albeit much more vaguely here.Also, if you earnestly offered to refund the deposit to my son, WHY HAVENT YOU DONE SO? You were sent screenshots of the transactions, details about the entire circumstance, and spoken to respectfully. It didnt have to come to this-you were given ample time to make this right. Your way of handling this was to enact some non-disclosed, unwritten gift certificate policy, keeping all of the money, and then changing your phone number to avoid making it right? EPIC CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILIn October, my kids began custom designing a very personal series of tattoos for the five of us as a special Christmas gift for me. A larger one for me, and smaller versions of the components for each of the four of them. They spent a lot of time collaborating with a specific artist to perfect the custom details. When my son went to make the payment, he was offered a written gift certificate, as a tangible gift to give to me on Christmas morning. In good faith, they paid the shop in full, and in advance of booking. After Christmas, I scheduled my first session for mid-January. Because she lives out of state, my daughter got her tattoo on December 28th. Shortly after, I became aware that there had been some discord between the owner and several of the tattoo artists. Sometimes people need to part ways, and that’s okay. On the 3rd of January, I was contacted by Mary (owner? manager?) to meet with a new artist to discuss my design. I tried to explain that it was essential for us to stay with the artist who created the design for us, and that the process had already begun. The artwork was custom drawn and very personal to our family. In addition, my daughter had already been inked with her component! Mary talked over me about the new people she was hiring, and their skills. I tried again to explain why I wasn’t interested in a new artist, and that is when it went really wrong. She got loud and very edgy. She over shared her disdain for the women who chose to leave, and even disparaged their talent and character. I’m not about that drama, so I reminded her that it was unprofessional to trash former coworkers, employees, or business partners. Again, I asked about getting my children’s hard earned money returned to them. It was then that Mary replied that since I didn’t make the payment, she would not discuss any refund with me. She also said the shop policy was no refunds for gift certificates, but my kids didn’t actually buy a gift certificate. Mary did say that the shop offered other services to use the funds (piercing, different tattoo, etc). I tried for a third time to explain that the money was spent specifically, and I would have my son reach out to her about the refund. When he was finally able to reach her, she gave him the runaround too. She basically said she would not refund all the money, but would refund a standard deposit (a third of the total he paid). He explained that was unacceptable, and he expected a full refund. He even asked if she would just pass the funds along to the artist who earned them. As of today, NO MONEY has been returned, refunded, or passed to the artist. Since reaching out to her, Mary has changed her phone number and is now unreachable. She obviously cares more about keeping money that doesn’t belong to her than upholding basic decent business practices.(As a point of integrity, the original artist has offered to do the tattoo, even if she doesn’t ever see the money she so rightfully deserves!)

I had my daughter’s lobes pierced and my nose pierced in this studio. They were able to get us right in. Jeperti was so patient and kind with my daughter, and answered all of our questions. She kept the room very clean, and even sanitized between our two appointments. She was very careful with placement and the rest was quick and not too painful.I’d absolutely recommend this studio again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and super welcoming which is why I’m giving 3 stars. My actual experience was less than exceptional. I have two cartilage piercings that I never changed out since I got them 6 years ago because I loved the simple captive hoop look which is what piercers will standardly use after piercing. My dog accidentally ripped them open, so I went to get just the same standard hoops replaced. After close to 30 minutes of trying, the piercer said that she didn’t have enough experience with this type of jewelry and couldn’t do it. It didn’t even hurt when my dog ripped them out because they were so healed, but my ear was throbbing after she tried to install the jewelry, and it’s still very sore and hot to the touch hours later. Again, staff was SUPER nice, but I think the piercer could use more training.

Perfect place for a new piercing. Calm, clean, and relaxing environment, kind staff. I got my second ear piercing and I love that they use needles, much less painful than a gun. Jeperti was so kind and helped me get my piercing where I wanted it. 100% recommend

I got my helix and doubles done with Maya yesterday and she is the sweetest person i’ve ever met and made me feel very comfortable, every single one is completely straight and she told me about aftercare and was just an overall amazing person to work with. 100% would recommend her and this shop as a whole thank you Maya!!

Very clean place and very professional staff! The environment itself is very clean, calm, and enjoyable. I got my ears pierced and they really went the extra mile to make my experience a good one! My piercer was super knowledgeable and friendly and the pricing was very fair. Will definitely return for future pieces!

Jeperti is an angel sent from the piercing heavens. She is so gracious, patient, and kind. She does a fantastic job explaining everything and manages expectations on pain and comfort throughout the process. Her work is clean and well placed, I would trust her with my life. Also the shop itself is so comforting, I don’t mind the vibe of a “classic” tattoo shop, but I really appreciate the privacy and calm that tattoo serenity offers!

I have had two piercings done at Tattoo Serenity in the last 6 months, a helix and a tragus. Both experiences were quick, easy, and as painless and enjoyable as a cartilage piercing can be. My 12 year old got her second lobe piercings done here as well. We have worked with Jeperti and have enjoyed all of our experiences to date. The shop is quiet, clean, and welcoming, no loud metal music blaring, and piercings and tats are done in individual rooms rather than an open chair setting, which I personally prefer. 10/10 will be going back and 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter got her first piercings, and I got my conch here. They are clean, thorough, and very personable. Originally, I wanted my daith pierced, but the anatomy of my ear did not allow it. I appreciate the honesty and suggestion of piercings that would work.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The artist, Jeperti, is so sweet and patient. She speaks to you as if shes known you for years. Her artwork is amazing and her linework is impeccable. I wont go to anyone else for my tattoos. She is the best.

Cassie and Jeperti are awesome! I had assumed my ear piercings closed up ten years ago, and I wanted to re-pierce my nose. They were extremely knowledgeable, took their time to explain everything and extremely personable. They really made the experience fantastic and I’ll be back in the future.

Jeperti did my septum piercing. She was hygienic, professional and it did not even hurt. I have gotten this done 3 times this time was the least painful. It was quick and painless I highly recommend her for your piercings. She is very sweet.

Jeperti is amazing, Ive had 2 tattoos done with her so far and planning on more. My daughter has also had several piercings with Jeperti and she has done a wonderful job there too. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing and the vibe is wonderful! When you walk in you are welcomed/greeted and the vibe is very welcoming by all staff. I came in for a daith piercing but now I will definitely be back for another piercing and a tattoo. Cassie did an awesome job. Will come back again!!

No one answers phones. Been there twice and shop has been closed. I will be taking my business else where. Edit. No there was not a note when I went on Saturday. I waisted my time calling and gas showing up. Even checked the Facebook. No answers. Not a fake review.
