Aaron did a great job taking my idea and improving on it. Very light handed. Extremely satisfied with the quality and the price. 10/10 recommend.

So this was my first time going to hoodlum ink after my fiancé insisted multiple times that I need to get a tattoo from Aaron. I brought two friends and it was me and my fiancé so four in total. So we got there about seven it was completely packed. When walked in and seen how many people were in there I didn’t think that we would get in. They could have turned us away or been irritated that there was more people coming in but it was the exact opposite. They opened us with welcome arms, even though there were 30 tattoos ahead of us. We waited for a few hours and I honestly can’t believe how calm and accurate Aarons hand was after doing so many tattoos it blew me away. Definitely worth the wait I can’t wait to go back. My friends and fiancé also loved their tattoos. Thanks Aaron!!!!!

Ive known Arron DeClue for years and hes the only person Ive let put ink on my body since knowing him. Completely sleeved out with a couple pieces on the chest an abdomen and have never had any complaints with a single one of them. Very grateful for his attention to detail and honest prices. Recommend him to all my friends already and will recommend him to Google as well.

I never leave reviews but I feel like I have to. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS. I truly wasn’t upset about the atmosphere of this place at first and I definitely should have been. When I walked in the whole shop was in complete chaos which the owner said was due to them having a yard sale, I understood. I then pulled out my ID and he never asked for it so I simply put it away which I thought was weird bc I do look very young. Here’s where it really went south though, he pierced it and it instantly started gushing blood. I have had this piercing done before and it didn’t bleed. When I looked in the mirror I instantly could tell it was messed up. I called a piercer from my local area and went in and had to have them remove it and it was torture. Save yourself from damage to your body and go elsewhere. EDIT: I was out of town and read good reviews about your place. No doubt people don’t come back because you call them liars. My previous pierced passed away. But here’s my proof. A septum should never be done like this. You should not be license to pierce. Thank you relevant tattoo and piercing for saving my nose !

Super chill and professional! He didnt mind that I had to bring my son with me, and even gave him a marker tattoo! Made my sons day! Definitely worth the 30 minute drive! Will return!

As soon as we start chatting, she double validated my decision. She was very laid-back, funny and empathetic. She checked on me yesterday during the tattoo, last night after, and today. I feel so happy today.. and so glad I did it! #SisterLoveIsUnbreakable

I made an appointment and was able to work out a time to come in. I had a quick nose piercing. They were able to accommodate for my son. Everything was cleaned and I enjoyed my service. Highly recommend 🙂

I had my arm done by Aaron a couple weeks ago and the tattoo came out better than I could’ve ever expected. Aaron was incredibly professional and has very reasonable pricing. The healing process went very smooth, he gave me very detailed aftercare instructions, and as long as you follow them the way he tells you to then the tattoo heals very nicely. All and all very pleased with my experience!!

Hoodlum did mine and my daughter’s nose piercing. I had a couple of tattoos done and they came out perfect. He did a tattoo on my husband as well and they even are collaborating on a cover up idea for another one of my husbands old tattoos. He’s very professional, personable and does a great job!

Aaron is a super cool dude fit us in late and did and excellent job.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I got my nose re-pierced and my orbital (lower cartilage) and was charged over $100!!!!! They also put a long tongue piercing in my orbital, I was in extreme pain and it was so infected. I ended up changing it (so I didn’t have a huge hole) to a much smaller piercing that was meant for EARS. I have 8 other ones, this was by far the WORST PIERCING EVER. If you want an over priced piercing that will 100% get infected, go here!

I went into hoodlum ink on 4/13, i spoke with Jessica before hand, she was super amazing and very friendly about scheduling.I received both nipples pierced, and I will say they are the most professional and super down to earth! He did an amazing job!!! Arron did an amazing job at collaborating the materials I needed for my sons memorial tattoo. Hes definitely not your typical tattoo artist. He never made feel silly for any part of my tattoo. Extremely impressed!!! I mistakenly got a memorial tattoo for my mom who passed without doing my research first. I was grieving and just wanted something to remember her soon after she passed. All I knew is I wanted her handwriting, her thumb print, and a butterfly (she has always loved butterflies) Let’s just say DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST, TATTOOS ARE FOREVER!!! long story short, I went to 4 places to get this memorial tattoo fixed (yes 4) and that’s not including the ones I went to but didn’t like their ideas, so I didn’t end up having them tattoo me… it’s like everyone was ready to take my money and slap whatever they could on me but not willing to put in the effort to figure out what worked on me or what worked with the tattoo I had already mistakingly got. I was embarrassed to show people my tattoo! I went to Aaron and he got me in right away. Not only do I LOVE MY TATTOO NOW!! But it looks like this is how the tattoo was supposed to be from the beginning, it doesn’t even look like a cover up, he even added a sunflower (she loved sunflowers) Not only did he fix my tattoo and turned it into art that I love, but unlike every other tattoo artist I went to, he didn’t dig into my skin. I seriously could of took a nap. Then when we were done instead of your typically over priced tattoo, when it came to paying, he told me to pay whatever price I felt comfortable with; whatever works for me. I’m telling you guys, go see Aaron at Hoodlum Ink!!!!!!! I promise you will not be disappointed!

Super happy with my tattoo. It was done over two sessions and the work is so amazing. He was super professional and he help me put my thoughts on my skin so that I was blending the different things I wanted to portray not only about myself but my love for my grandma and her love for Halloween. Dont get pierced here or you will get botched. I got my septum done and it was pierced awfully. They put too small a needle through first, tried to force the ring through the small hole, before using a larger needle (thats two needles for one piercing). My nose was swollen on the inside, where the most trauma was, so it looked uneven 30 minutes later. After a couple of days, I had to do my own research to find out that it was pierced in entirely the wrong spot. This took a cursory amount of research for me to find out. If only they had done their research 5 minutes before my appointment, though this shouldnt even be a concern for someone who does this for a living. I called and left a nice message but never got a call back. The worst part is that, during the piercing, he was teaching his teenage son how to pierce people incorrectly. I really expected more from a place with such high ratings. For your own health and safety, please DONT GO HERE.

Its a bad place, I preferred to give him the $150 and go to another place and finish the Tattoo that I started, The one who has the rented place oh the Alleged artist obviously sent me strange messages under the influence of some substance,,, in addition to that demands that you pay him first and then he calls you to give you the appointment perhaps in weeks,,, I do not recommend it, is a bad place, Im sorry Arron but you must separate Work from your personal entertainment. 🤫 but I have the voice Message Evidence 🤫When you want we can go to court, I do an investigation and you have a great record with drug problems, you need professional help, I know what you are do not lie you are a mutilator. I dont recommend you Sorry, but back to the Rehab.

I set up a time with Arron for a cover up tattoo. Let me say after getting more than one from some of the best artists in Ft. Wayne none have anything on him. I’m not easy to please and don’t settle for bad quality. That’s not an issue at Hoodlum Ink. The work is outstanding and in the future I will go no where else.

Had a random urge for a tattoo and called. The women I talked to was awesome, she wasn’t all just business(I like that, some don’t but I was thrilled) asked about walk in and she wasn’t sure and she called me right back after talking to the artist(Arron) went in and he got it set up, let me ramble and actually talked and listened compared to last 2 people I had(not them) just didn’t there own thing. I’m so happy with how it turned out and so going back for more. Price was not bad at all!! (First is what he was going off of, second is the one I got!)

I’ve really been wanting to tattoo my dog on me for awhile now and I’m so glad I went to Arron to do it! I sent him a picture and said that I just wanted a simple line drawing of my pup. He did a fantastic job of re-creating the picture into a line drawing for me! The atmosphere is great and he makes you feel at home while sitting in his chair. Thank you so so much. I’m so happy with how the tattoo turned out!
