We came in to see Shawn Henderson. He has changed out nose rings and pierced my lip for us. He pays such close attention to detail, placement, placement for future piercing considerations and aesthetic. He walked through all our options with us and made sure we were comfortable.I brought my five year old to have her ears pierced for the first time. Shawn listened to me and suggested we use body jewelry instead of earrings to provide for her comfort with the flat back and security between two households but having the screw on jewel.Shawn recommended a certain length of post to help accommodate for swelling. Thank goodness he did! It was perfect! She is in heaven and only complained once about the pain and wanted to tough it out.She woke up this morning feeling just fine and slept on her side most of the night.

I had a wonderful experience with Bryan and Piper. I got 3 very personal and meaningful tattoos, and they are just exactly what I wanted. Bryan does excellent work- he listens to what your vision is and makes it happen. I couldnt be happier. My new home for all of my tattoos and piercings! Thanks!

Hands-down, this is the best Tattoo and piercing shop I’ve been going to. Just yesterday, Friday the 13th was very fun. Got some awesome perfectly lined up Tattoos. They treated us with snacks! Great people great work! Would definitely recommend!

This place is lovely! I went in to get snakebites done and I’m obsessed with them!! The guy who did my piercings was super nice and did a good job at reassuring me so I wouldn’t freak out. When I thought I was experiencing issues with my piercing, he switched out my jewelry for longer ones and sent me home with extra jewelry in case I ever want to change them.. all for free! The place was cute and very clean! Very good first piercing impression and I’ve had no severe problems relating to the piercing healing or rejecting. Loved this place and I totally recommend it ❤️❤️

I’ve been getting tattoos here for months now and I love this place, Doc is the man when it comes to any tattoo ideas you have. He has been helping me create my sleeve and has been nailing every piece just got a few more places to go on the arm and I’ll be coming back for more! Highly recommend this place!

Very happy with my experience with Bryan and Piper! Wanted to get a cover up on a relatively new tattoo on my leg. Wasn’t sure what I really wanted and Bryan drew up an awesome dragon to cover it up. My brother got his ear pierced here last year and recommended this place to me. The guy was friendly and did a good quick job with piercing my right ear lobe. He also sanitized and cleaned my left ear lobe piercing even though I didn’t ask so I appreciated that. The price was fair so if you’re looking for something similar that my brother and I got I’d recommend this place.

I decided on a random Thursday night to finally get those extra ear piercings I had been thinking about. Shawn was so nice and worked me right in! Im so happy with my placements and the quality of service. Will definitely be going back for more and letting friends now how amazing this was!

Caroline was amazing! My sister and I got matching very meaningful tattoos and she took great care of us! Even was patient with placing the stensil. This was my sisters first tattoo and Caroline made her feel very comfortable and made sure she was doing good the whole time! Definitely will be back in the future!

This last Monday we walked into the yellow door tattoo and piercing shop to get my son his ears pierced for his birthday. As soon as we walked in we were happily greeted by Piper. Piper was awesome and was the one who pierced my sons ears, she was so patient and kind with him. We had a great experience!

I got my first professional tattoo here and let me say it was the best experience and I will definitely be coming there for more. The shop itself was very clean and kept, the owners were very polite and they were very quick with drawing up my tattoo and the actualy execution of it. They even gave me candy and water:)

Tina, Sean and Clint are awesome. Steady hand Sean is on point with piercing. Light handed tattoos by Clint. Tina is RAD with tooth gems teeth whitning. The Shop is very clean and organized. Well rounded staff. Definitely a go to hot spot!!!

Just got my daith done on Saturday and I love it. The place is very clean and Shawn is a very professional and funny guy. He went through and explained everything beforehand. And I will definitely be coming back in the future to get my upperlobes pierced.

Shawn is awesome at piercing and very professional. I had both sides of my ear gaith pierced. I walked into the shop with a horrible migraine. As soon as he found out I had a migraine, he turned down the music for me as I was waiting for him to be done. I have been suffering from horrible migraines for a very long time. I cried because after he pierced me, my migraine subsided. Thank you so much, Shawn!

Went in the get my vertical labret and my medusa done. It’s been a little over half a year ago and both piercings are healed now… My vertical labret is totally crooked, I noticed after my visit that the piercings didn’t align with each other and dismissed it as oh it’s just swelling… It wasn’t. I had a great experience coming in, my piercer was really cool and helpful. I’m just upset my piercings are crooked. Don’t really know how that can be fixed lol…Edit: I appreciate the quick response from you guys. It was a half year ago, I had a typo. I would have come back in to the shop to take a look much sooner, the only reason I didn’t was because I travel for work and was dealing with a bunch on my plate at the time. I won’t be back in Arizona until early next year. I’ll make an appointment then for you guys to take a look and see what we can do to fix it? Nonetheless, these are my favorite piercings and the person who did them was by far the best piercer I have been to. Very communicative and on top of it.

I took my little 5 month old baby girl to get her earlobes pierced to this place and I cannot express enough how an amazing job he did on her. He was extremely nice! Super patient! He marked her ears a few different times until we were happy with the placement. We took a couple breaks to comfort her when she started crying. Her earrings look perfect! I’m suuuper happy with their service. When we walked in right off the bat the place smelled really nice! It was suuuper clean. Sanitation is 10/10. I felt super safe trusting this place with my baby girl. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!.

Husband and I came in for a couple of small tattoos each. These guys were so fun to work with and the shop was super clean. Easy to communicate with from start to finish, great environment, and a talented and fun artist! We’ll be back.

I am absolutely blown away by their wonderful customer service. I had a memorial tattoo done in remembrance of my mother who passed April 25th, 2023 at another local shop. Needless to say this piece meant the world to me. Tattoo was done May 21st, it looked okay for a couple weeks. I reached out to artist June 12th concerned about how it was looking. I followed all aftercare exact. This isn’t my first rodeo and none of my tattoos had ever healed the way this one did. It was awful. I scheduled for my free touch up June 28th. I went to the shop and waited for the artist who then told me he moved to a shop 50 minutes away. The owner of the local shop wouldn’t return my calls and shop was always closed when I stopped by. I refused to drive 50 minutes away for an artist who was incredibly unprofessional on so many levels. Finally 3 weeks later I had given up on the other local shop. I was crushed as this was a meaningful piece. I started reaching out to see where I could go and rebuild a relationship with another trusted artist.I filled out the online form for Yellow Door Tattoo to get a quote and explained my situation. Shawn, the owner, reached out to me within 2 hours and apologized for my experience at the other shop. He told me he would speak with Doc and get back to me tomorrow. At 1pm today, not even 24 hours after my inquiry, Shawn messaged me again stating Doc was available to take care of my touch up and to come on down. As my husband, my son and I arrived at the shop we were welcomed by several smiling faces. The shop is clean, family friendly, warm and kind. We had some good conversations, they offered water to us and ensured we were comfortable. The entire crew was sympathetic toward my prior experience and let me shed a few tears in the lounge. Doc invited my family and I back and he completed the touch up. Doc was polite, kind hearted and we carried great conversation. He smoothed out the lines outlining the tattoo and filled in the areas of what looked like a 20 year old tattoo. It was comfortable all around. He was not heavy handed causing pain nor light handed causing concern. It was perfect. Doc transformed my tattoo into the piece I was originally looking for. When Doc was done I looked down at my forearm and it was beautiful, just like my mother. My mom was 51 years young when she passed. I wanted to get this memorial piece in a place I could see it daily and be reminded of that beauty. Shawn and Doc made it happen. Doc did not charge me a fee to touch up my mother’s memorial piece. I cried, grief is funny that way. Doc gave meaning back to this piece and I couldn’t be happier. This experience shows the heart of Yellow Door Tattoo, they were willing to fix another shops nightmare because they believe it was the right thing to do. The morals and beliefs of this entire crew, the sincerity, generosity, kind loving environment has gained them a client for life.I highly recommend Yellow Door Tattoo.I will update this review with before and after photos once it’s healed. ❤️Alright first pic is day 1 of new tattoo in March. 2nd two pics are June, 1 month after original tattoo. Simply put…awful! The last one is the beautiful final product from an amazing artist!! Thank you Doc for transforming my mothers memorial piece into this truly magnificent work of art! The lines are crisp and the lettering is beautiful!

Ive come here for several of my piercings and they’re always done so well! they heal beautifully n the staff is awesome!

The whole experience was off. Dont ever use a catheter needle! Ive had many piercings over many years/ couple of decades. Never have I ever seen a catheter needle used for piercing. I was going to do a double forward helix and by the time he had the catheter needle in, I told him I did not want the second one. I am so disappointed, I also have very sensitive areas pierced, plus many in my ears, Im not a puss with pain. It Was not a friendly atmosphere. I also Had jewelry changed out, and that was a disaster, he shot the jewelry on the floor and the other piece shot down into my canal and the jewelry fell out the next day. I wont go back there, I have a hoop in until I can get into a different place. SMH

Amazing service, walked through the door and was immediately greeted. Shawn is a very sweet guy, he asks numerous times if piercing placements look correct, along with reassurance that someone may like the piercing. I wait to get my piercings done until I know Shawn is in.He’s a very funny, making sure to keep you calm as you get pierced. Real quick, in and out. I got my vertical labret done, and the guy who did it was nice and worked with me on placement. He also took note of my black septum ring and asked if I wanted my jewelry to match, which was a nice touch. Reasonably priced, and a clean environment.

Highly recommend this shop!! My mom and I went in for nose piercings and had exceptional service, so I decided to take my sister in for our matching tattoos, she not only got a matching tattoo with me, but she also got her nose and ears pierced. She is developmentally challenged and Tina, Shaun, and Rick were amazing with her!!

My dad and I were recently tattooed by Doc, great company and line work was amazing. He added flowers to a previous tattoo I already had but the original artist moved out of state and Doc did amazing keeping with the style, my dad got his collar bone/ chest done and absolutely loves it. My husband also got an eyebrow piercing from Shawn and he was amazing. Both were super professional, clean and knowledgeable. Shawn made sure my husbands jewelry allowed for swelling and when healed after 6 weeks, he was great about changing into fitted jewelry. I have since recommended them and now Doc is working on my friends sleeve and she love it. They have been more than professional with their work and beyond that, they have been so friendly and treated everyone like they would want their family treated. I always recommend them to anyone that mentions wanting work done. They have also been very giving to their community. We recently went to them about a cancer benefit and they were willing to help. Overall just phenomenal people with amazing talent.

Went great i got a septum piercing 2 weeks ago! healing great and the actual piercing took like 30 seconds haha! it didnt hurt almost at all either!

Me and my best friend wanted last minute matching tattoos and this was the only place that took us same day even though they were closing for the day soon. Rick did our tattoos and made it such a great experience, was so funny to talk to and did perfect on both of ours! It was the most fun tattoo experience. I had a great experience with Shawn, who pierced my daughter’s (16) ears. He explained the process to her, was very careful about how placement, and helped her relax with proper breathing during the actual piercing. I came in to see what kind of gauge plugs they had to offer, was sitting in my car finishing a scratcher and was greeted before I even came in and was hooked up with some nice white 00 plugs by the piercer (sorry I didnt get his name). Super nice shop and coming up on 3 years means theyre doing very well in the community. Definitely recommend coming here for any piercings or work you may need 🔥 cant wait for an ink therapy session soon, thanks again guys 👍

I have been to so many different shops to have different piercings done, this shop is by far my favorite. Sean treats you with so much kindness and respect and he definitely takes pride in his work. Sean pierced my 12 year old daughters nose and re-pierced my ears recently. We cannot say enough good things about him. He is so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and just overall had the best vibes! I visited this awesome studio a little over a week ago! This is my second time going here at yellowdoor but my first tattoo with Voodoo. Took my 2 daughters in for nose and upper ear piercing. Our tattoo artist was amazing. He did so will with teenagers. Made them feel so comfortable, explained everything. Showed them right where the piercing were going to be placed. He was even good with a nervous, Mama!! What a fantastic place!

If you’re ok with multiple flies landing on you and being stuck staring at a confederate flag during your tattoo, then this is the place for you. Trust me these weren’t the only issues either. Thats what I get for being bored, wanting a spur of the moment tat and stopping at the closest shop🤦‍♀️ Front of the shop looks fine, the back however… I’m honestly feeling lucky I didn’t get an infection. The tattoo itself you ask, well it’s ok at best. Just glad it was something super simple and quick.

Sean and the other owner(I’m SO sorry I forgot her name) were incredible. They were so patient with my 4 year old who was very scared and nervous, even though she begged to get her ears pierced. One of the tattoo artists even gave her a squeeze toy to help her be brave. Both me and my mom ended up leaving with some new piercings and we had a great experience as well. Everything was clean and professional. My daughter is obsessed with her new earrings, thank you a million times over!

Went in to buy a belly button ring because the one I got from club tattoo on country club was put in upside down and the stub fell off eventually. Because of that it took forever to heal. The gentleman I encountered at Yellow Door was super helpful and even offered to take the old one out and put the new ring in at no charge other than the cost of the jewelry. He confirmed my suspicions that my piercing was not put in correctly and explained why and gave me the correct jewel and size. It looks so much better now and way more comfortable. The original ring was too small also so now I have the correct size. I want a few other piercings and definitely will be coming back here for them. The place is nice and clean too. I got a good vive walking in. 10/10

Right when I walked in the Yellow Door establishment I was greeted with 5 star hospitality. The shop was clean, inviting, and comfortable. The staff were excellent and my artist Capone was very professional. One of the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had and will definitely be coming back for more ink sessions in the future.

Got my nose pierced, did not hurt at all was a 1/10 pain. everyone there was very nice and made me feel comfortable. everything was quick, i didn’t wait long and the piercing itself was quick as well. i will definitely come back for future piercings.

I took my daughter in on Saturday to buy jewlery for her nose piercing that was done elsewhere. She has anxiety & didnt have the best experience when it was first pierced, so she was nervous about switching it out. Shawn was so kind, attentive, and understanding. He took his time helping her pick out the right size & style and even put it in for her. Our experience from the cleanliness of the shop to the customer service was just top notch. This is a shop we will definitely be coming back to for our piercing & tattoos.

I got my nose piercing done here last week. I was so nervous about it, the guy that pierced me (i cannot remember his name) WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He made me feel so comfortable and eased my anxiety. It was a fast, painless process, and its been healing amazing. I forget that its even there. He even said he will change my jewelry in 4 months for me. Amazing skills, and customer service. This place deserves even more then 5 stars. I will be getting more done here in the future!

This studio is AWESOME! I went to see if I could buy some new jewelry for my helix piercings (online order gone wrong ended up with an infection. Don’t trust when piercing websites say it’s surgical grade!) and not only did they have the exact jewelry I wanted for such a good price, but the guy who was there put the jewelry in for free and even cleaned my piercing out for me. He clearly cares a lot about his customers and his business and was so kind.All piercings in the future I’ll be coming here!

This is terrible, I don’t remember the name of the guy who pierced my daughter’s nose. We were a walk in on January 1st around 5:30ish pm, it was my daughters birthday and she really wanted her nose pierced, the man who helped us was super amazing and extremly patient with my daughter. He was super fast and made my daughter feel super comfortable. Thank you so much. I will refer my friends to Yellowdoor for any work.. I wish I could give more then 5 stars

I went in to get a second opinion on a piercing I had done by a different shop. Staff was honest and willing to give advice on how to care for the issues with a piercing I was having. I ended up leaving there with another piercing and I was very happy with it! The staff was super friendly. I will be going back for more piercings from them!

Shawn is the man! He was a delight from start to finish. He had a level of enthusiasm and joy I have quite literally never seen in another piercer before. You can tell how much he loves what he does and it put me at ease while getting a needle stuck through the middle of my face. Cannot recommend him enough for all of your piercing wants and needs!

Found this place down the road from where I live and decided to walk in one day. The customer service is amazing, super fast, efficient and professional process. Ended up getting a belly button piercing for a great price, and the entire process took about five minutes. Great conversation, great people, amazing shop. 10 out of 10 would recommend definitely planning on coming back there for more.

Yellow Door was the 4th tattoo/piercing shop I went to today in trying to find replacement earrings for my daughter. The second I called I knew wed finally found our sanctuary. Very good experience, we were getting frustrated because we couldn’t find anyone with a reasonable price that wasn’t completely booked to give me an industrial piercing, we got to the yellow door and my piercer Shawn was very nice to us and very explanatory towards what I would need to do to maintain it and how long it will take and he was very helpful, the piercing turned out great.

I went & got my helix pierced and the guy had no idea what he was doing. He numbed my ear AFTER giving me the piercing, he pierced it front to side instead of front to back, the pain was so bad days after I got the piercing that I went to a place that specializes in piercings and they were absolutely astounded of the piercing. He used the smallest hoop possible so I had no room for swelling, the angle was horrible, and when I told them how he did it, they said to never go back because of how infected it was. He also pierced my sisters nose and completely missed the first time because of how shaky he was and stabbed the middle of her nose with the needle. He was a cool dude, but shouldn’t be piercing without knowing what he’s doing.

I received this tattoo about 2 months ago and it is EXTREMELY blown out. I tried going back into the shop asking the artist who did this if there’s any compensation for this and she insisted that it wasn’t blown out. I have over 15 tattoos and I know when they are blown out, and I actually contacted another shop to ask if it was blown out and they agreed it was. Don’t come to this shop, do you research, and go to some place more experienced and respectful. I’m heartbroken I have to walk around with this tattoo for the rest of my life. Shame on yellow door, and shame on that female artist who did this.
