I got a tattoo here a few months ago. My artist was Adriana she was amazing. The whole experience was awesome and it’s too bad I had to move cuz I really liked the shop and the ambiance and of course my new tattoo artist. By far best tattoo experience to date.

I love this shop! Alyssa is such an amazing artist, with great top-notch work. She listened to any concerns I may have had and walked me through the process. She also offers quiet sessions if thats your vibe. All the artists here are so personable and funny. They make every appointment an enjoyable experience.

I’ve had several beautiful pieces done by @tony_cutthroat, and Alyssa, @sweetnsauer_tattoo! The whole process from beginning to end was simple and (mostly) painfree! Both artists are professional, quick to reply and make scheduling simple, they’re flexible! Tony is vibrant and can make even the most nervous client comfortable and the same goes for Alyssa! Both artists get a 10/10 from me!Can’t wait to schedule my next piece! The work speaks for itself!

My favorite tattoo shop ! The artist there are so cool and very professional, have a great sense of humor, and overall just amazing ! My favorite artists at the shop are Bruce and Tony by far ! Tony did my Sons feet and he’s also did and amazing tiger ! Tony is such a cool dude, he’s talented super respectful he makes everyone laugh he’s just an overall awesome dude! Bruce did an amazing human heart with flowers I told him what I wanted and he drew it up he’s such a good guy, not only do you get an awesome piece but a really nice conversation too, and so talented! Both amazing people !

Alyssa has done all of my Tattoos except for 1, she does a phenomenal job, light handed, and steady! super friendly and keeps snacks and drinks for her clients in case they ever need anything. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. everyone is so nice and welcoming 🤍

Ive been going to Alyssa since the beginning of the year to finish my sleeve I started years ago. She is so amazing and professional, I recommend her to everyone. I always get compliments on the beautiful tattoos she did for me. Shes always down to change things up if I want and she has such a great artistic eye. If you want great quality work go visit Alyssa. I have been getting tattooed by Alyssa for almost 2 years and every experience I’ve had has been wonderful. She is an incredibly talented artist, and while I’m loyal to Alyssa, the other artists are also very talented. Everyone at the shop is very nice and it has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. This is easily the best tattoo parlor in the high desert. Nice collection of very talented people in a classy environment. Alyssa is my favorite and does an amazing job. She has a talent that I’ve seen in very few artists. I highly recommend Tried and True Tattoo and Alyssa.

Jacque! She is my go to artist. I’ve been getting tattooed by her for about a year or so now. She’s done at least 10 tattoos for me watching her learn was one of the best experiences I could have! The dragon tattoo was done when she only had a few months of experience!!! My tattoos need to be touched up but look at this girl’s work!!! This young lady is like family now with how much time we’ve spent together tattooing myself and she also tattoos my mom! (I do have other tattoos by her but I can’t find the pictures.) I would definitely give her a try if you’re looking to get tattooed.

Bruce was my Tattoo artist. He makes sure his work is exactly what you want before getting started. He takes his time and did an amazing job on my tattoo. I love my tattoo. He listen to what you want also.He also got me in the day I wanted to and got right back to me .

Went for the first time got an awesome tattoo by Bj. Great experience, shop is super clean and great ambience. I was comfortable the whole time. Definitely going back. Bj does takes a little long to respond to dms but he will reply eventually, totally worth it 🙌

Ive gotten tattooed by Alyssa and Tony, and both of them are fantastic. I trusted Tony with my first tattoo(s) and I couldn’t have picked a better artist. I’ve gone to Alyssa for my last few and I couldn’t be happier with the work she’s done. Great people and great ink! Will only go to them for my tattoos.

Took my daughter here to get her nose pierced. Shes had it done twice at other places but it always seems to reject. Bruce was positive and extremely knowledgeable in explaining why it may have happened in the past as well as gave clear, detailed instructions on how to keep it clean and what not to do. The shop was super clean. We felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The cost was reasonable. Will definitely be back.

I came here for my first tattoo and I didnt really know what to expect. But it was straigntforward, professional and clean. Alyssa was my tattoo artist and she really wanted to make sure the tattoo was how I wanted it and that it was placed on my body correctly. She was professional but still made me feel comfortable and she checked up on me throughout my tattoo making sure I was okay and letting me know to update her if I needed a break. It was an overall good experience for my first tattoo and I will definitely go back in the future whenever I decide to add more ink to my body!

I called mid day Monday morning asking if I can get my grandmas handwriting tattooed on me for her 2 year anniversary. The lady on the phone said absolutely come by after 3:30 and ask for Jacque.So I came around 4pm asked for Jacque - she gave me a price and said to come back in 30 because she had two people in front of me.Once I returned she was ready and was the absolute kindest person - very soft spoken and made my experience amazing. She was quick and efficient. The tattoo I know have on my side is my favorite and all I can do is thank her for making it happen. Will 1000% be coming back for future pieces. Absolutely phenomenal.

We took our 4 month old to get her ears pierced and Bruce did a great job helping baby and us feel comfortable. He was clean, quick, and thorough in the process. Super nice guy. We plan to come back and get some tattoos ourselves by him.

Jacque did both my ankle tattoo as well as one on the back of my arm , I was super comfortable with how she came about both the design and location ! I was lucky enough to be the first and last client to have a blackout ankle tattoo by her and overall the experience with her was awesome and I’d 100% go back to her again for more tattoos ! I also appreciate how comfortable she made me feel with conversation during the session ! these aren’t the best pics I could get but you can see how well it came out 😍

The first time I went to this tattoo parlor was for a flash special. @sweetnsauer_tattoo was awesome! She did a beautiful anatomical heart. Months later I contacted her to do a memorial piece for my dad.. also came out great! She got me in fairly quickly and was patient with me even though I was running late. She is friendly, patient and very professional.I also got a small script addition from @jacquestarrattoos. She is also friendly and easy goingHighly recommend

This was my second visit here. The first time Bruce did great work. This time around not so much, I had originally informed him that I would be doing a full sleeve so I used his judgment on placement and sizing on my piece. I went in this second time to finish wrapping it around the arm. I had my doubts because the first piece didnt go half way but trusted his judgment. So to make it work he suggested I add two strands and well be able to make it work from there. I once again trusted his judgment, which I ended up regretting. The lines werent clean, areas werent filled in, then areas were filled in that shouldnt have been. Its kind of hard to correct him as he goes when my arm is extended out and his arm is covering what hes doing. Needless to say the original piece I went in to get ended up not working out. Now I have these two bands that didnt even get done properly and a wasted day. I live 90 minutes away and for me to show up and the artist not be ready is a failure in itself. Professionals dont conduct business like that. I understand we have off days, but this was over the top for me. Now Im stuck with a half finished tattoo and some messed up portions that cant be fixed. I still paid for it, but to say Im not pleased is an understatement. Dont tell me you have it figured out, make changes to what I want, then not be able to actually line up the original piece. He should have put them all on to make sure they line up. This is all not even considering the initial time I showed up for an appointment he had made and told me when I wasnt even 10 mnutes away that it wasnt going to happen that day. Driving more than 3 hours would upset anyone.No one has contacted me to make it right, but I expected that honestly. When your tattoo artist panics and talks with the owner but he doesnt say anything to you and just leaves the store. My biggest issue with that is that theres no real concern for their clients.

Ive been tattooed twice now at Tried and True by Alyssa(ink.n.lash on Instagram) and I couldnt be happier with my experience. I will definitely be going back to her as my regular artist. The shop is very clean and the artists are very professional. They use top of the line products and stay up to standard. Hands down an awesome shop!

Recently had a tattoo done here and I had a great experience. The atmosphere was so relaxing and everyone was friendly. Tony did an amazing job on my tattoo, I absolutely love it. Very clean and professional as well. Would definitely recommend them.

I’ve had 4 tattoos done there by the same person (tony) I’m never disappointed with them. Beautiful work, if I ever have questions of placement or what would look good with it he always has suggestions that are exactly what was missing in my mind turns out to be exactly my vision. He’s always checking to be sure I’m okay during the process. Definitely will be back for any tattoo I want!!

I’ve been in 3 times and every time Alyssa does an amazing job. I Never leave disappointed and she always makes it feel very welcoming when I go in. The shops very clean and has an awesome vibe to it and they’re always playing great music. Will definitely be going in for more tattoos :) thanks again Alyssa!!

I went to Bruce and have gotten a couple tattoos from him and each time he exceeds my expectations. He is very professional and listens to what I want. The whole shop itself is clean and a safe environment. I recommend Tried and True for anyone looking for a shop to get tattooed.

You deserve a one star review because my tattoo is completely messed up. Uneven lines, tips of flowers cut off on one side with the others not, blown out lines, areas not filled In with color. When your artist was asked on his social media to set a time to fix it, which he in fact said at the time of the tattoo he would fix anything that was wrong. He then proceeded to tell me there is nothing wrong with the piece and brushed me off. Definitely not a way to build your clientele or promote your work. Clearly by other reviews, I’m not the only one to feel this way about his work. So there you have it, your reason for a one star review. You do have other artists in the shop who’s work looks remarkable!

For me finding a good tattoo shop in this desert that I could trust is hard. I grew up in a tattoo shop so Im very picky about who I let tattoo me. And all I have to say is I hands down will be using Bruce Stowe at tried and true from here on out. His work is amazing and very clean and hes very professional and kind.

Alyssa did a portrait of my dog on my hand and a few knuckle tattoos. Excellent work, exactly what I wanted. The shop has a great vibe and I am already making my next appointment.

Alyssa is AMAZING! She’s very sweet and a great time to be around. She puts so much attention to detail in her work and goes above and beyond in making sure you’re getting exactly what you want. She’s also pretty flexible and will work out a time that’s best for both parties and I appreciate that!! I will forever be going to her!!

This is hands down the best shop in the high desert. All the artists are polite and very educated on tattooing. Environment is super clean and unlike most shops, absolutely no drunks or other questionable humans around. I only go to this shop! You feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of here. Amazing work only comes out of this shop!

Ok, honestly, such amazing experience. Alyssa is great! Always on time, no just hanging around, she’s super professional, friendly and honestly has given me EXACTLY what I ask for. Best part, no creeps or weird vibes. I 100% recommend this shop! She’s pretty much done my entire calf!

I got both my tattoos here and they were both very well done. One small one and one medium/small one. I absolutely adore both of them and can’t wait to go back for more in the future. Alyssa was amazing and so kind.

When I entered the shop I immediately felt that it was a good environment with good people, I worked with Bruce, he walked me through what would work and put into consideration what I wanted.he’s an amazing tattoo artist and a pleasure to be around. All in all Bruce and the other tattoo artist made my first tattoo a good experience.

Friday the 13th I understand it’s quite busy but I signed in at 10:30am and watched as people who signed in later than I got tattooed before me. When I asked what placement I was on the list there were 4 people ahead at around 3:00pm. They were telling people that the artist takes around 20-25 minutes per tattoo, however I timed him and it was about 45 min per tattoo. So if someone got two tattoos it was quite a long wait. He had 14 people left on his list when I left around 4:30pm. I did not end up getting tattooed. I really really hope they work on organization in the future because everyone’s work was amazing and everyone was friendly.

This would be my second tattoo at the shop. Each time I’ve felt very comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness of the shop. Will definitely recommend people here.

I asked for an all black Rose with a red snake wrapped around. The Rose was not shaded fully I went for a touch up and still isn’t fully shaded. My snake in the photo I showed had small details an that’s not what I got. The lines are mushed,bleeding color, and not crisp. Me and my cousin got the same tattoo we were gonna get each others birth year but instead got our own. Very disappointed in my tattoo I paid $200 for both mine and my cousins. Well not go back again. I will have to get mine fixed an shaded correctly. Do not recommend this place.

First time I went was to fix one of my tattoos I got a while back, Tony worked well with what he could and I loved how it came out! I went back 2 times for some work and going back again soon!! Very chill and and friendly, wouldnt go anywhere else for a tattoo after I found him!!

Visited this establishment on October 31, 2019 after sending the artist a very simple graphic of the image I wanted tattooed on my right arm. Artist was apparently very inexperienced as she botched an easy tribal design, mistakenly etched an ‘e’ instead of an (i) in my last name and had a very unsteady hand (the outline of my tattoo is squiggly). These are 3 very crucial mistakes that cost me lots of money to have corrected. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone. I wish there was a way to add a photo so that you all can see for yourself.

This shop is great! They’re actually nice and aren’t snobby they are also very clean and professional. I had an appointment to get my daughters ears pierced. Bruce had a stomach ache which was understandable but he said he was going to do pierce them for free and now hes not even responding. Im just disappointed because this place has good reviews.

Tried and True has become my go-to for any tattoo idea I have in mind. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, VERY clean and professional. The artists Ive dealt with have a vast amount of skill and have a lot of different styles they incorporate into their work. Ive never left disappointed, EVER.

I booked a session with Jaque and got a 4x4 shoulder piece of the vegvisir, nordic compass. She did such an amazing job, was thorough with after care instructions, checked in consistently about needing breaks and was very likeable, relatable and easy to talk to. I will definitely be booking with her again! So please give her a try!

I was able to get a walk-in tattoo here from Tony. Due to the smaller size, it was less than $100 ($60, plus I left a $20 tip). Tony was really friendly and I would totally come back.

Super disappointed in my eyelashes I spent 80dollars thinking I should be good for at least 2 weeks on the 6 th days one eye had a lot of shedding I get in contact with Alyssa no help she sends me a genetic message about fills which is 50 dollars instead of trying to help me I will never go back ! there are a lot of other ppl that do lashes! Get better customer service skills I will NEVER GO BACK OR REFER ANYONE TO ALYSSA! Waste of money!Update I have proof I will be uploading today thanks for responding to me with such professionalism you proved my point! checkmate! So Tony deleted his response now that sees my proof posted! It’s not right everyone needs to know how shady this place is! Beware you have be warned!
