I got my first-ever tattoo from Chris at Old Glory and I will absolutely be returning for my next. I had a very specific design (to match a tattoo my father got almost 60 years ago) and Chris was able to perfectly replicate it based on a picture I sent him. It was incredible. He also researched the original flash and offered me a similar design as an alternative. Scheduling an appointment with him was easy.Before he began tattooing my arm, he took the time to make sure that its location - and size was appropriate for my arm. He resized and relocated the stencil several times before I was completely happy with both its location and size. His patience and professionalism should also be noted because the entire experience made me feel completely relaxed, comfortable, and confident in his work. Aside from the actual tattooing, Chris was very personable and knowledgeable about any and all of my questions...the kind of guy you want as a friend!The shop is very clean, a comfortable temperature, and has a very inviting atmosphere. They even have snacks and drinks available for all customers!I came to this shop based on the recommendation of a friend - and I would recommend Old Glory to ANYONE. I couldnt be happier with my tattoo and the entire experience - and I will absolutely be back for more.

My girlfriend & I made 2 different appointments with Ashley to get 2 completely different piercings. She was amazing! Extremely nice & comforting, explained everything to us with her professional opinion but was super personable. We will definitely be back & I highly recommend seeing her!

Ive gotten majority of my piercings from Ashley and each have healed beautifully thanks to her wonderful job. She’s very kind and super informative. She makes me feel very comfortable and cared for each time I see her! All the other artists in the shop also seem very welcoming. If anyone is thinking of getting their first piercing , 100% recommend Ashley. :)

Amazing experience! I came here to get my tongue pierced by Ashley N. , and just wanted to say how amazing she did! She explained the entire process, and made sure I was super informed about the piercing I was getting. She is gentle and very welcoming! I have no problems with my new piercing I love it and it is healing really well! :) Also the shop is clean and front desk was super friendly as well. I definitely recommend going here

Old glory overall is such a great environment. From walking in or even, booking an appointment is simple and the second you walk in- you’re greeted quickly and with a smile. Old Glory is the best of the best !! Got my septum done here several years back & recently got my daith pierced by Lou, who was excellent. Friendly, patient, communicative, and explained the full piercing process as it was going on to make sure there was never a moment I felt uncomfortable/unsure of the results. GD at the front was exceptional as well, super friendly and professional— they both clearly go out of their way to to make their clients feel safe, respected, and happy with the (high) quality of work. The shop itself is gorgeous + clean as well. Couldn’t recommend enough, will def be coming back for my next piercing! :+))

I came in for a tattoo with Igor and a piercing with Lou.Lou was incredible. I thought a nipple piercing would be incredibly painful, but Lou worked with my breathing and it was so much easier than I expected! He’s super professional and personable as well. Ive been to this shop a few times now to get work done. Cant say enough nice things about the crew working there. Dylan Yeehaw has done most of my tattoos at this point and Ill keep going back until my mom finds out and threatens to cut me out of the will. He has always made it an easy and comfortable experience. Hes also super sanitary and organized. If youre looking to get something done, definitely bang their line and ask if he has availability

I came in without really knowing what to expect because I’m not from here and this was hands down one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had and I’m already heavily tattooed. Jennylee is not only a beautiful soul but does sick work. Definitely recommend collecting some of her art forever.

Honestly one of the best tattoo parlor I have been to, and I have been to many. The work Dylan did was AMAZING and the front staff (I’m so sorry for forgetting your name again) was so welcoming and hilarious. Really loved the vibe here, but the work Dylan did was just amazing and my fiancé and I could not be happier with the result. Thank you so much again for this great experience. Great shop. They have a text line for same day appointments. Worked great. I text them my art and everything and scheduled my appt through their website after chatting with them through text. Super easy. Marz was my artist and he was great! Very cool guy and talented as well.

Dylan Yeehaw was absolutely amazing - he was so considerate, kind, patient, and thoughtful. I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo artist or a better experience!! I am so happy with the entire process. Dillon at the front desk was also incredibly kind and welcoming- offering water, Gatorade, and making sure all our needs were met throughout the process. I have nothing but amazing things to say about it all!!!

Just moved to the area and my wife and I were looking for a new place to get tattoo work done. The people at Old Glory are fantastic. Probably the most professional and best customer service tattoo shop we’ve ever been to. They go above and beyond and the work is top notch. Got tattooed by both Matt and Dylan and both artists were great. I only used two different artists because of availability. My wife and I will be going back for all our tattoos.

I was looking for a customized tattoo and decided to go with Old Glory and got in touch with Igor Silva and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I sent him the pictures that I wanted and he came up with different concepts and the one we set for was absolutely beautiful! It was a portrait of my late daughter and a picture of my 3 daughters together with the Belt of Orion as a symbol of them all.Igor was very understanding and patient with me and really put 100% in everything regarding how I wanted my tattoo. He also made a symbolic connection between the pictures and made the concept as a whole. Also, since my family and I are moving back to Norway and I was running out of time, he went above and beyond to make this tattoo happen. We did two sessions and he was so professional in every way and such a wonderful person. I can’t fully express how much this meant to me. He created such a warm and good atmosphere during the sessions and made me as a customer feel so safe and taken care of. It felt like two best friends hanging out :)The result became even more realistic that I would have dreamed it to be and he really brought the pictures to life. The portrait are in my opinion as realistic as it can get! Absolutely beautiful! I was scared of getting a portrait cause so many things can go wrong, but Igors work was amazing and I don’t regret a second! This whole tattoo actually made me cry when looking at the finished result. And the details!!!! Even the fingernails are visible on one of my daughters hands, so in my opinion that says something about the details Igor puts in his work! If anyone are looking for a realistic tattoo and/or portrait I will recommend Igor any given day and say that you will not be disappointed. I went to Old Glory Tattoo for the first time on Friday the 13th. Everyone who worked there was super nice. I was tattooed by Igor who was absolutely amazing. I have always had trouble healing from tattoos and this is my first that is healing perfectly by following Igor’s recommendations and from his skill at tattooing. I will absolutely be back soon. Lou is meticulous in his piercing skills—on point, cleanly, great bedside manner. And the only time my ears didn’t get infected after multiple attempts. Will only go to Lou and Old Glory!!!

Super clean and awesome, friendly people.We rolled in as a group of walk-ins on a Saturday for piercings. I wanted my nose re-pierced and convinced some others to come with me and they ended up wanting piercings as well. As a group of 35-45 year old moms I sort of expected some youre not cool enough types of looks but we definitely didnt get that. Everyone was great! Very patient, helpful, etc. 🙂

The President of the Breed, Gene Bernardo owned this tattoo parlor when I was seventeen- eighteen years old I came down here to Asbury Park, NJ and I got my first tattoo from Gene and Rebel , I still have it on my left hip of a Blue Cross with a Red Rose on top of the Cross and a Black Lightning Bolt under it, gorgeous work.

Absolutely love this place. they are always so welcoming, helpful and friendly. i got my belly button pierced here two years ago with no issues and a beautiful healing process, and then went in today with my friend and ended up getting third piercings on my ear lobes! Lou is the absolute greatest, so helpful, friendly and overall great. The place is super clean, and i look forward to getting my tattoo here!!

My mom and I went to Old Glory today for a mother and daughter tattoo. It wasn’t our first tattoo but it was my first time having an artist explain where to check the expiration date for the needles. It was a nice gesture as it showed respect and trust between the artist and client. Igor was extremely nice and thorough with the tattoo process. I went here on Black Friday and got the possibly the best service I’ve ever received at a tattoo shop before. Igor did my tattoo and I was so impressed. The detail I got in this tattoo was incredible. I instantly put a deposit down with him for another. I also got a cartilage piercing from Lou and it is the best healing tattoo I’ve ever received. Igor, Lou and the Shop Manager are all so nice and are so accommodating. If you are looking for a tattoo shop: this is a no brainer !!!

They are all so kind, upbeat and patient. Despite being Friday the 13th, they were very organized with their appointments and had great energy. Dylan did my and my Aunts, Igor did my sisters. We all have multiple tattoos and are real happy with the healing (which is beyond minimal). Lou also replaced my nipple piercing was thorough and efficient.Dillon aka GD the manager up front got us all in and situated. He was super friendly and professional.They all collectively really cared about our overall experience.Youll also notice the handsfree EVERYTHING in the restroom and throughout. I actually really liked that touch.

I took a solo, meaningful trip to the beach and on a whim, decided to get a tattoo in honor of a life decision. I selected something off the $150 wall and my tattoo artist, Igor, went above and beyond. This is much more than I expected!!! He was friendly, took his work seriously, showed me that everything was new and sterile and took his time on extra details. Everyone working there were not like most tattoo artists I’ve encountered. They were friendly and humble and I’m just beyond happy. Thank you, Igor!

I could not recommend this shop more! Everyone there was incredibly welcoming and kind. I worked with Igor, to get a Totoro piece today, and he completely blew my expectations out of the water. Not only that, but he was very patient, and consistently checked in with me to see if I needed a break and broke down exactly how I should allow the piece to heal. Not only that, but he showed me the expiration dates on all of the fresh needles that he was using, and let me know that this should be a standard practice that I should expect for any future tattoos. Again, I could not recommend this shop more highly and I am amazed by the level of detail he was able to achieve.

I found the holy grail! I was turning 50 and wanted to get my Jersey Devil Tattoo! I knew it had to be in Jersey and I started looking in Asbury park. I live in Upstate NY. I looked at a bunch of of tattoo shops, but something about Old Glory Tattoo seemed to pull me in. I called them and G.D answered the phone, he was so friendly and welcoming and asked me to text him the art. They have a texting line, so you can text and share images and what not. I thought this was next level and he was always prompt in texting me back. I made an appointment on my actual birthday with the Tattoo Artist, Jenny Lee! When I walked in they greeted me like family. The tattoo shop was super clean and incredible artwork on the walls! I knew I found the right place! I met G.D and Jenny Lee in person and they were super accommodating. We went over the artwork and Jenny Lee made some changes and then it was off to the races! You better book your appointment with her quick, because I think she is going to be the next big thing! Her line work was stellar, she took her time, and this was the most painless tattoo i have ever had!!! She is a magician!! The tattoo exceeded my expectations!! It was an amazing way to spend my birthday! They were both so easy to talk to you and it gelt like talking with friends! It was an amazing vibe the whole time!!!! I will be making the drive down to Old Glory for now on!! and with Jenny Lee!! Its the one 2 punch! Bonus points, my family spent the entire time on the boardwalk in asbury park and playing pinball for hours!!!!! Dont think twice, book your appointment now!!!

Extremely unprofessional!! Booked Igor a month in advance, just to show up the day of my appointment and have him turn me away and refuse to do the tattoo. Totally wasted my time! No valid reasoning other than he just didnt want to do it. Would not recommend coming here for anything custom, he will only tattoo what he wants and will take no consideration to the clients actual design request. Not worth it at all.

Really awesome place. The process of communicating with the artist and making my deposit was quick and easy. I was greeted warmly and offered water when I got there. The tattoo I got took about 5 hours and they offered me water and some snacks throughout. The entire shop is super clean, and the bathroom is all hands free. I cant wait to go back again. They also get awesome guest artists from other countries, so make sure to stay up to date with them.

I’ve gone to old glory a few times for tattoos in the past and always loved the atmosphere. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and always transparent.I had recently gone to Dylan for a piercing and I cannot stress enough how professional and gentle he was! He answered all of my questions and made sure the placement was anatomically correct before piercing.Old Glory always goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers AND has an incredibly clean studio, which honor the CDC guidelines. 10/10 will always recommend!

Great quality. Good price. Ive gone here for 14 tattoos and 7 piercings over the years and been happy with each and every one of them. Gotten tattooed by Marz, Chris, and Matt at least twice, and had great experiences with each of them. Pierced by Marz and Dylan at least twice each, and theyve done great jobs. They give great aftercare advice and by following up with what they said, Ive never gotten any sort of infection. Very sterile and clean atmosphere, very professional, a bit of pain gives a lot of pleasure. Id give six out of five stars if I could.

I met Chris for the first time at the tattoo convention and fell in love with his work instantly, and had him tattoo me on the spot. Everyone that works there are amazing artists but Chris has done 99% of the work on my body. Amazing person, artist and Father. I would never go anywhere else for ink 🤘🏻

Very clean, very professional, fantastic staff, and true artists and craftsmen that take pride in their trade. 99% of my tattoos are from Strangebreu, and I dont intend to let any other artist mark my canvas. Despite the fact that money is no object when it comes to permanent body art, Old Glory still maintains competitive and reasonable rates. If quality, attention to detail, and skill are of any importance to you in tattoos, look no further. I cant recommend them enough.

Got an appointment booked with Igor the day after sending in a consultation form. On the day of, Igor took the time to explain the sanitation steps they took and made sure the tattoo came out exactly how I wanted. All around a great experience

Decided spontaneously with some friends that we all wanted to get our ears pierced while we were in Asbury celebrating one of their birthdays. All of the employees at Old Glory were very nice and helpful. I was the only one in the group who had never gotten a piercing before, so I was a bit nervous, but I felt next to nothing and was in and out quickly. Pricing was very reasonable and all of the equipment was sterilized and unsealed in front of me- would highly recommend to anybody in the area!

I saw Dylan to replace my septum ball today. He is the most kind, respectful, and humble piercer I’ve ever met. You can tell he wields years of experience within the profession as he gave me extremely useful advice on other types of piercings. 10/10 shop and person! Will come again!!

I decided I wanted my Tragus piercing.Last Sunday, so even though they were completely booked. They were so nice to fit me in their schedule. I’ve gotten pierced before by Marz & wanted him to do my new targus piercing.They rolled out the red carpet for me.The front deck guy That day was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and super cool!Once again I’m beyond happy with the service I got here. My piercing looks so cute. Also this place is so clean. Thank you for being cool!

I went to Old Glory yesterday to get my nose pierced and it was a great experience! Very friendly, very sanitary, and very quick. Dylan was funny and explained the whole process beforehand to calm my nerves. He also gave me a super thorough handout on how to take care of my piercing which was especially nice because some places seem to just want to sell you some expensive product for it. In terms of COVID things, they ring you in at the door and require a mask while inside. Only thing is if you’re planning to stop by I’d suggest coming a couple minutes early to find a parking spot because streets around the shop were pretty filled up. Overall it was a great experience and I’d gladly go back again!

Got my first tattoo there! I love how they are being very cautious with the pandemic and offered guidance on after care tips taking COVID-19 into consideration.The after care tips were thorough and it made me feel secure.I made an appointment through the phone and the person I talked to was very helpful, they clearly explained that I needed to email a picture of what I wanted, and the tattoo artist (Marz) did a great job. Had a wonderful conversation.Would definitely recommend.

I got my nipples pierced here! I’ve NEVER had that much FUN at a tattoo shop before. ALL the staff there are SUPER professional. Everything is reasonably priced and they are BEYOND personable. I’d put pictures but I don’t think that’s legal .🤣I will 100% be going there for my next tattoo or if I want another piercing! Marz was HILARIOUS and made the pain of the piercing non existent. He was very knowledgeable and took care of me from start to finish.

I have never felt so comfortable getting a piercing before. The people there are so kind and made sure I knew what was going on. I love that everyone is masked and everything is clean. They even cleaned my license before handing it back to me. Like that’s amazing. I can’t explain in words how much I loved going there. And can’t wait to go back for more piercing and tattoos.

Ive gotten four tattoos from this shops owner, and plan vacations specifically to visit Old Glory in Asbury! I love the art Ive gotten from him (and the work Ive seen from the other artists is similarly top notch). This shop is highly professional (and a really cool space). The experience of getting tattooed there is always a pleasure. Chris (and every artist at the shop) takes time to really listen to what I want and provide great artistic input. The actual tattoo experience is always a pleasure.I feel like I ought to reiterate my great experiences in response to a really surprising (and I can assure you aberrant) review above. I can only say that I love visiting Old Glory. And I am a woman. The people that work there are friendly and respectful. Its a clean, well-managed shop, staffed by real artists who take great pride in their work. In all my visits to the shop, Ive seen them develop work for tons of people: walk-ins, appointments, whatever. Theyve been respectful, thoughtful, and top-notch every time. Its important to remember: artists generally need some time to produce really stellar work! Its usually wise to make an appointment and do some consulting, if you want a really terrific tattoo. (Though one of my favorite pieces from the owner was fairly spontaneous; they do those, too!)If you want to visit a highly professional shop, receive quality art (that will heal well and stand the test of time) this is a great place to go.

I came here as a walk in for my septum piercing and the staff here made it a great experience. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone who wants to get their piercings done. The person at the front desk was very kind to me when I walked in and he explained everything about the piercing process, as well as giving me a lil pep talk !! 😂 The piercer was also very kind and talked me through it, in a pinch it was done and over with, and after that they just explained the aftercare to me ! I walked in as it was my first time for piercing. Dylan did it and from the moment I walked in and out, he was so compassionate. This is a great place for piercing. He took his time with getting it done and the time to explain the differencs of the sizes to me. He also took the time to go over the aftercare. He was funny and very fun. Definitely would recommend to others!

My best friend and I came in for matching tattoos. It was supposed to be an experience that really meant a lot to us and was special, but the artist couldnt resist snarky comments, making fun of our concept, and not allowing even a photograph to commemorate the process from across the room. I can understand the last rule because it was the artists preference to not have the back of his head be in a photo, but it just added to the feeling that we were unwelcome. This was both of our first experience getting a tattoo, and after getting more tattoos with other artists, I can honestly say the price was not worth the quality. Will not be back.

Me and my fiance plan on getting more tattoos from this shop. They had friendly customer service and a great atmosphere! Went in today to see if my daughters nose piercing needed to be re-pierced. She originally had it done I PA., but I had brought my other daughter and a few friends to get piercings here about a year and a half ago and then for another piercing about 6 months ago, and they were great! The place is so clean. Dylan is an amazing piercer! He explained everything to the girls and to me and the sterilization and cleanliness is top notch. Unfortunately my daughters nose piercing was closed up and because she isnt 18 they would not re-pierce it. They have rules and some are stricter than the states itself regarding piercing and tattooing. I actually respect that. So if you have any doubts or questions call them they are straightforward, honest, and upfront with everything! I cant wait to get my next tattoo because Im definitely getting it at Old Glory Tattoo!

Can’t get over this place !!! Me and my friend spontaneously wanted to get a tattoo and we stumbled across old glory. I can’t even tell you how happy I am that we did ! Aleena was our tattoo artist and she honestly is amazing !! This place is so clean and so professional and aleena really is great. She made sure we were comfortable and you can tell she really cares about her work and her clients. She’s so talented !!! I live 2 hours away and trust me when I say this, I’ll be coming all the way back here for EVERY TATTOO or piercing I may get. It’s really THAT WORTH IT !!!

Old Glory tattoo is one of the best tattoo shops Ive ever been to. Ive gotten tattooed by Chris multiple times and now refuse to go to anyone else. I know anyone in the shop is a quality artist because Chris does not accept sub-par work. Old Glory has a very relaxed atmosphere while maintaining the highest sense of professionalism and being impeccably clean. My friend and I got tattoos done here while visiting Asbury a few days ago. We had an exceptional experience with Kyle & Johnny. These guys were so friendly and fun to work with! Were from Philly but I wouldnt hesitate taking the trip to Asbury for my next tattoo. Wonderful place.

I have been spending quite a bit of time at Old Glory because I made a crazy decision to do a large and very detailed piece. Every artist there is not only incredibly talented, but they are just great, funny, awesome people. Chris, Kyle and Johnny are cool as hell. I havent met Matt, but I think it is safe to say that he has to be equally cool. My artist is Mike D. Artist is the word. I could not be happier with the work I have been getting. They can handle any type of work you want, but it is not easy to find a great artist who does photo-realism. I found one in Mike. No matter where you live, if you want a tattoo, get yer butt to Asbury Park. Best place you could possibly imagine.

My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend in asbury and knew we wanted to get a flash piece. Dropped in Friday and Lou was able to squeeze us both in with Mars Monday before we went home. Lou was working the front desk, super friendly all while juggling a bunch of different appointment requests…couldn’t be happier with the quality and welcoming atmosphere of the shop!

My friends and I went in and the 4 of us got lip tattoos and would not reccomend going there for that. The atmosphere and place was very cool and an awesome experience, but the guy who did ours seemed rushed and did not do a clean steady great job with it. Our letters are fading immediately and they are not even and the letters are pretty screwed up. Awesome place and I’m sure they do great on body tats and piercings but if you want a lip tattoo we reccomend looking into going somewhere else!

They are VERY unprofessional. I left a money deposit of 53.00 after taxes to receive a computer generated picture via email.Now I would not be upset if I did not have to call just to make sure he received our first email a week after I sent it. He confirmed receiving the email(no response to assure he received it) then requested 150.00\hour . Fast forward to two weeks later to a few days before this HALF SLEEVE piece and we have yet to hear ANYtHING from them. We got a call from the shop to confirm the appointment and we told them, we havent heard ANYTHING from MATT in two weeks , that evening we received a computer generated picture from him. absolutely NO effort put into. He quoted us up to up to 1500$ total or $150/hour for atleast 8 hours broken up . We are a married couple ..... this was 2 sleeve prices!!!!! NOT cheap........ we were willing to pay for quality and commitment. Ummm, we left a deposit, I also emailed him what he asked for. Including pictures. I am un sure how they received such good reviews when the actual artist is unprofessional. Am I mad over $53.00? NO! I am MAD because this was a meaningful tattoo my husband and I have talked about for years. I could t be more DiSSatisfied wih such unprofessionalism. Tatoos are permanent and this one was meaningful and we could t even be bothered with a rough sketch. Very very disappointed . * disclaimer : a computer generated picture is NOT what a tattoo will look like. We are not first timers, except As far as being disappointed goes.

Just got my ribs finished by the amazing Chris. He turned someone elses work into a master piece Im in love with. Despite the dying pain I went through Chris really helped me push through and get the whole thing colored in in one day. Chris is like my brother and Ive learned my lesson going elsewhere, therefore Im not getting tattooed by anyone else from now on.

Dylan andreson is the best!! This shop in general is the place to go. I have gone to MANY other shops and the artists, receptionists, owner, piercers and everyone else is so welcoming, nice, and caring. I have gone to Dylan for three tattoos so far, one of which was a huge tattoo that was super difficult to cover up. Prices are reasonable and I’ve had to get the tattoo touched up a few times so it’s fully covered but Dylan always did the thing!!! Now my tattoo is completely covered and gave me confidence back in my body. Go to this shop! You won’t be disappointed whether you want a piercing or tattoo
