Tony exceeded my expectations and more. He was extremely respectful and patient with me. He allowed me to ask my million questions but guided me in the right direction.His expertise is on point 👌 The way he seamlessly blended my older tattoos with the new ones I’m in awe of. You can tell he takes great pride in his work. Mak and Russo were also wonderful to chat with as well.I wanted a last minute decision piercing at the end of the session and he had no problem accommodating that as well as informing me why my multiple past piercings failed and gave me the knowledge other shops/artists haven’t. The septum piercing maybe took 5 seconds and was the least painful out of all my awful other piercings. You can also tell Tony takes care of the artists in his shop and treats them with great respect as well. I have nothing but wonderful words for this man and his shop!!!

Russo did an amazing job! He was so friendly and answered all of my boyfriends questions. The shop was very clean and had a family like environment. I really recommend going here. Even Mak was awesome!! Both have incredible work. Tony(the owner) as put together an awesome team!

Went in with my sister for an ear piercing appointment about a month ago. Tony pierced both our ears, he was so nice and welcoming. Made us feel very comfortable and was super helpful with after maintenance instructions. The shop is super clean and well run. Will definitely go back for any piercing or tattooing in my future!

I got my first tattoo today by Mak, she is the best!! I will definitely come back to her for my second tattoo. I love that she was patient and took her time with me since I was feeling nervous! First of all this site only has 5 stars Tony deserves 10+ stars . I have been to several tattoo shops to try to get a cover up only to be told there is nothing they can do but they can add to the old tattoo. I was not happy with that. I went see Tony said he can cover it and he did one hell of a job its unbelievable. I am very happy with the tattoo and I cant believe the amount of compliments I get from it.Tony is a10+ artist and a stand up guy hands down.I will be coming back for more work you can count on it. I received a tattoo a year ago from Tony.I know some of his work is good, but you really will be taking a huge risk going to Tony.On my tattoo which was just a simple outline, the lines were extremely shaky and sloppy. He rushed the tattoo. It looks terrible and I am still very upset about it a year later. It really does look shaky, sloppy and the lines are just so squiggly and not crisp and strait and clean.He offered to fix the tattoo, but why would I have the person who did this to me fix it, besides this would be completely awkward as well.I want to add that as I arrived at Under My Skin Tony was in the process of scolding one of his artists.DO NOT go to Tony. You are absolutely taking a risk doing so.I am still upset about this and it just really eats at me. Please DO NOT let this man touch you with a tattoo machine.I really hate what he did to me, and it haunts me constantly.Edit;I want to take you up on this offer.How do we straighten this out then because i deserve at least that.2nd edit;Since I last said I would like to take tattoo tony on his offer to straighten this out I have yet to hear a response, so clearly he was not serious.

Tattoo Tony is truly one of the most professional and creative artist I have ever meet. From the moment you walk into his studio you can see and feel the the desire he put into his shop to be the best. Although I’ve had Tony do a few tattoos for me a cover jobhe did on my back shoulder with one of his original skull designs was truly for me a work of art. Not only a phenomenal tattoo artist but also an exceptional human being who gives back though his autism charity. What else is there to say but if your thinking of getting some ink he’s the man!!!!

You know what makes Tattoo Tony the best ? He’s not only amazing at what he does but he’s a really nice person . He’s passionate in what he does and does it with heart. I have a few tats, but nothing that would classify me as any kind of expert. I *have* been on this earth for over half a century and I know something good when I see it. Tony is just amazing. I sat in his chair for just under 2.5 hours. The art was exactly what I wanted and looks great (its not even fully healed yet). Even better than the art, was the experience. I felt totally comfortable with him from the first minute. He worked (and re-worked) every idea until I got what I wanted. On top of that, Tony, as a person, is cooler than anyone I may have ever met. He showed me his bass collection (a common interest we have) and has a great story for every picture he had on his walls. He has a *lot* of pictures on his walls, btw. When you can go from Rob Halford to Loretta Lynn, and have a story to tell about each, thats just cool. Given my age, I may never get another tattoo. But, if I do decide to, I am jumping on Rt. 36 and heading to Atlantic Highlands.

I got a tragus piercing a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved this spot. It’s style is unique and the staff was very welcoming. Most importantly, it was CLEAN and all measures to keep everyone safe were taken (due to Covid).Loving my little piercing and will be back for sure :DThanks Tony!!

Tony Rodriguez is the best tattoo artist on this planet. You can always expect quality work that others simply cant match whenever he works on you. I dont let anybody else tattoo me. If you need some ink, dont let anyone else besides Tony do it for you!

Ill never use another shop. Tony did my first and every tattoo I have. Simply the best. His people are friendly and understanding. The place is sterile and stylish.

I had a simple black outline of a heart tattoo done here a few months ago, and first off the artist refused to let me pick out the heart shape that I wanted. So then I asked him if he would make it smaller than the image he printed and the tattoo is completely uneven with one side thicker than the other. I was unable to come back because I left to go back to college but it’s disappointing that I paid so much for something that is not only so little, but also not done well. The place overall is very nice and sterile and after completing my tattoo, the artist was very friendly and clearly more than capable of doing such a basic tattoo. But, the results were not what I had hoped.

Just got my eyebrow pierced by Tony. Quick and painless. Have gotten my septum pierced and my fingers tattoed by him. Almost a year later and they look as good as when I got them done. I highly recommend Tattoo Tony for all your tattoo and piercing needs.

Horrible , went in for a walk in , simple tattoo . Walked out with a abomination on my hand . Supposed to be a skull . Total abortion . And the artist had the nerve to trash talk the owner of another shop . Saying the owner thinks hes a better artist then he is . Wrong . Hes the best artist on the East coast and the most humble and nicest person you could ever meet . And that artist is the owner of Teddy bear ink. . You want the best go to the best , mortified at what under my skin put on my body . And repulsed at the artist( so called) for putting down other artists purely out of jealousy and the threat of the competitor for clearly doing way better work . Having ppl that tattoo that bad reflects on the whole shop . Never again. Just keeping it real.
