Top Shelf Tattooing

Ive been going to Top Shelf for a few years and they are absolutely the BEST. Tommy has done all my tattoos and he is hands down the best artist Ive used. His work is always meticulous and exceeds my expectations each time. The shop is clean and well maintained and everyone is super sweet. You will not be disappointed if you visit this shop.

Just got my first tattoo from Tommy, an amazingly talented and professional artist. Very personable and really knows his stuff! I know this wont be the last time Ill be coming in. The facility is very clean and welcoming and Im happy that this is where I went for my first tattoo!

Got a tattoo done a few years back just simple cross but have wanted to get something more cartoony and this tree stump from a card game was the one. I walked in today around 12 and Jef was able to take me right away. We hit it off. Dude is a gem and I highly suggest getting your work done by him. He listened to my ideas for it, added his own which made this tattoo really pop. Shop has an awesome vibe run by good people. Don’t even hesitate, get your tattoos at top shelf tattooing in bayside!

I’ve been to Tommy for a few tattoos now over the years and couldn’t have been happier. He’s super personable and professional and does his best to make sure you’re as comfortable as you can be (well as comfortable as you can be while getting tattooed of course!) Clean line work, super bold, definitely does tattoos that will look fantastic for many years to come. I’ve been to quite a few shops and Top Shelf is by far the best one. I’ve also gotten one from AR (who’s done my brothers tattoos as well as many of my friends) and they’ve all come out great. It’s a great shop, great people and an all around great experience. Even walking to my car, I was stopped and asked to see my arm. The guy said “Oh, you went to Top Shelf? Yeah those guys are the best!” And he wasn’t wrong! Thanks again guys! I just left Top Shelf this afternoon. I am beyond pleased with my experience. Rob did my tattoo, and it came out exactly how I wanted it to. Not only was the work beautiful, but Rob was precise, gentle, and was so kind and professional. We chatted and time passed so fast; I will definitely be returning to Rob and this fantastic shop. I’ve had my hair cut and styled for almost 2 years now. He is a true barber that takes his time and is precise and gentle and you will NEVER leave disappointed not to mention you will NEVER be nicked or cut. He makes me look great every time I leave his chair and he is patient. Making appointments is easy and convenient using an online reservation system so I can get haircuts in between work hours.Billy also offers UPPERCUT’s product line which he teaches you how to use and so far it’s the best product I have used.____________________________________________________I have gotten one tattoo here by Swan and it’s my favorite. The guys here are laid back patient and honest. Definitely will be getting more pieces from him

Awesome experience laid back atmosphere with good rock music. very artistic and creative flash they had on the wall in the shop. I got two tattoos of roman numbers behind the ear and on the other side i got an anchor they came out finesse in other words . My tattoo artist was Tommy very professional and patient . i will be coming back soon for more.......

Loved this place. They were patient and straight to the point. I got tattoos on my fingers and they came out great. Im terrible with names so I forgot the guy who did mine but I definitely still be going back soon. The place is clean and everyone is friendly.

Ive gone here for 13 years. I love these guys. The shop is immaculate and professional, and the tattooers are talented professionals, who make everyone feel comfortable, whether its your first or fiftieth. They are the real deal.

My friends have gotten their tattoos there mainly because the staff is FRIENDLY AND VERY NICE OTHER THAN MEAN STREET TATTOOS AROUND THE BLOCK! They also offered really cool stickers! They made us feel welcomed to watch our friend get tatted!

Ok so it was my first tattoo ever the guys were so friendly they made me feel so comfortable it was a small tattoo and I love it matter of fact I have picked out to more they will be doing. It was actually fun sorry I waited so long to get one. No may be its better I waited never no how many I would have. There a great bunch of guys see you soon!!!!!

Its been a long time since Ive been in a tattoo shop. The place was busy which is a good sign, got there a little early.Had swan do a tattoo of my daughters name, it took him 5 minutes and it came out great. Would go here again.
