This place is great. Zac is an amazing tattoo artist. He’s so talented. He has done several of pieces for me and they are beyond amazing. He takes his time and adds every detail. Love this place

I Started coming to hot rod inkin In April only, had about 5 tattoos when I came in. I previously went to different shops with a lot of average work done with people who didn’t really take there time with me and weren’t nearly as creative or skilled as my artist at hot rod inkin. I started going to Zach ant hot rod and I seriously cannot say enough good things about him. He has so much passion for everything about tattooing and that’s the reason he is the best. He will be doing all the rest of my tattoos and has already finished my arm sleeve and started my leg. All of my tattoos have been completely his designs and everytime I’ve been unsure of an idea it comes out better then I always expect and now I just have genuine trust and would let Zach tattoo any art on me.

I came to get my upper helix piercing removed because it’d been a year of pain & I was over it! My piercer is away for a month. I also brought my own jewelry to get my Daith jewelry changed. It was EXTREMELY painful and having these 2 things done & made me realize that the piercer who had a HUGE attitude & never bothered to even check any of the info I gave him because I’m allergic to Iodine, which he was going to use on me. Both things were more painful than some of the piercings I’ve gotten-which I’ve had 5 cartilage piercings. These people doing body piercing should be required to do continuing education and show that they’re proficient in these piercings. I was only getting lobe piercings but I wanted to get 2 small piercings to be up/down over each other. He kept asking ME what I thought because he said the tissue was getting thicker and he asked me at least 4x when I finally told him that I was an RN-it’d be like me asking a patient what they thought of a procedure I had to perform and how did I want to do it? I had a bad feeling & I just left! I would NEVER have him do ANY piercing on me! Tattoo artists should stick to just tattooing! The regulations should be changed! He couldn’t even figure out how to get the piercing opened-again..asking me what I had! BEWARE & DON’T HAVE ANYTHING PIERCED HERE!

Great place for tattoos!! Nic does amazing work and has fair prices. I don’t recommend going here for piercings because the guy that does them isn’t too experienced. I went to a different place and the girl told me my ear was infected because he pierced it the wrong way. Other than that I go to this place all the time for my tattoos!

I have gotten 5 tattoos at Hot Rod with Lacey. Every single one has been above and beyond my expectations. The parlor is clean and the staff are always friendly. Lacey has ensured my comfort every single time and I keep returning for more each and every single time. I cannot recommend Hot Rod enough. All of the artists are professional and patient, which I can tell from the interactions I have witnessed.

Terrific Artists. Terrific Customer Service. The Artists there care about what their clients want and listen to the design ideas. Nancy Did a terrific job on my Tim Burton Themed Tattoo, she added some awesome little things to make it unique.

Nic was very professional, kind and super fun to chat with. It’s been a while since I’ve been tattooed and he made me feel so comfortable with the process. He has great talent and I’m so happy with my work! The shop is super clean and everyone there was super friendly and awesome to talk to. I will definitely be going back for future work!

Nancy is an awesome tattoo artist. I threw her a bunch of ideas and she managed to capture something even better than what I was expecting. Her line work is on point. I went back two weeks later for another piece I loved just as much. Definitely recommend going to see her! Super talented artist all around. Ten stars if I could !! Also — the shop is super clean and relaxed !

For the Medusa piercing they use really small bars which is not convenient because all piercings should start off with a longer bar due to the swelling.Now the bottom of the jewelry is going into my lip. That’s ridiculous. Was told to come back for a longer bar and it was 10x times worse than the first time. It was extremely painful and he didn’t even apologize or talk me through it and was very rough. It’s unprofessional and waste of my money

Went for a sibling tattoo flash sale, first tattoo. Anthony did them and he was super nice and gave gfeat info on tattoos and care.Everyone was friendly rhere and the place was clean and professional. Sweet little spot totally interested in going back.

Went in because my sister knows the guy who I believe owns the shop. He was running a Valentines day special. My sister and I got a little matching heart tattoo. This place was clean, staff was friendly, and we loved our little tattoo. I would definitely go back for more work. In fact, my sister went back a few days later for another piece on her arm.

Am a Veteran and have had work done on my sleeve all over the country. Came to see Rich after numerous referrals and he did not disappoint. Finished prayer hands and moved onto the updating on some fading I wanted/needed. Worked quickly and professionally. I had to bring my 5 year old with me and the whole shop was very accommodating. Heading back in a couple weeks for more!

If youre looking for a true genuine artist in this area, look no further. Im newer to the area so it was kind of difficult to figure out where to go. Long story short my first session was phenomenal. Rich is as advertised. If there is anyone in my position right now reading this.. look no further.10/10 will be going again.

Got a tattoo done by Nancy and everyone keeps complementing the line work and how clean it came out. She puts a lot of care into her work and it definitely shows in what she does. I highly recommend her and the shop. I’ll be coming back for more!

They were very nice in the shop but the piercer gave me labret jewelry that is way too small to account for the swelling of my medusa piercing. even using ice like they recommended for the swelling, the jewelry is pushing into the inside of my lip :/

Unfriendly, didn’t sanitize anything, overpriced for nose jewelry change, and felt like i was being judged?wouldn’t recommend for piercings.

This is an excellent shop, just off the beaten path. Zach did a great job. Entire staff are friendly and professional. Shop is ultra clean. I will definately be going back.

I walked in during a Friday the 13th special, quarter sized tattoo for $13, I put my name down showed them what I wanted to get done, a redue on an existing tattoo, was told it shouldnt be a problem and to ask about it when i come back in ...., instead of try to honer the promotion in any kind of way I was told flat out it would be a full priced tattoo of $120 - $130 dollars to go over a tattoo that is no more then 4sq inches.... , Iv lived in ocean gate a little over a year and wondered why I never see anyone there , im starting to see why, for $100 dollars an hour,and nearly an hour and a halfs time they can re-do a 4 sq inch tattoo....
