The best! Been coming here since 2020 to get traditional work done by Jake. Just like the website says, he literally does clean lines and bold colors. Jake works at a great pace, is efficient, precise, experienced, and very friendly. Its also important to note that Jake has been tattooing for over 20 years. Ive had American traditional work done by two other artists, and Ill only continue coming to Mace & Dagger from now on. The shop is also very clean and nicely decorated.The first time I came here in 2020, I was living in NC at the time and flew up just to get a piece done by Jake. It was one of the best tattoo decisions Ive made. Now that Im living in Philly I can finally come here more often. Jakes wife, Heather, is also an extremely talented artist. Do not look past Mace & Dagger and the award-winning artists!

I’ve been getting tattoos from Jake for 7 years. Always a professional, fun, above and beyond experience. I usually email Jake a picture of an idea of what I would like, he always exceeds the expectations. If you want quality tattoos, Jake and Heather are the best around. I’ve recommended this shop to multiple people that were extremely impressed with their results. This is a tattoo shop you can totally trust.

This place happens to be a comfy hidden gem. Been going there for the past year to get tattooed by Prick Simmons and I truly enjoy this boutique full of talented tattoo artists. Thank you for having me.
