Belmont Tattoo & Piercing

My friends and I had an appointment with James to get some tattoos. We showed up a few minutes before our appointment but he was ready for us. We filled out the forms and he had our sketches ready. Once we finalized the sizes he started on us right away. James was fast and efficient and we all loved our tattoos. Would definitely go to him again!

Fantastic shop. Got my fifth ear piercings. Both sides. Jess, was very careful about making sure the placement was correct. Extremely friendly. Professional. Will be going back. Went back, got my 6th ear piercing done. And eyebrow.

Came in to get a nostril piercing and have the jewelry switched out in my other nostril and had a great experience! Gloria was wonderful, she was very thoughtful about making sure the placement of my piercing lined up with the one on the other side of my nose and that i was satisfied with the placement. the piercing was fast and smooth and she made sure to explain each step of the process to me as it was happening. everything was very clean and the vibes were great. they also have an awesome selection of jewelry to choose from. ill definitely be coming back, thank you so much!

I read multiple reviews to different piercing places and this one seemed to be the best. when I walked in they were completely polite gave me all the information I needed prior to the piercing. the person that did my daughters piercing was incredible she was very patient polite let my daughter know all the information on what she was doing. I could not have asked for a better place to get a nose piercing. I will be going back for the next piercing

Absolutely love the studs I got; it was well done and very quick. The place was extremely clean, with a nice and comfy environment. I was given a lot of important after care information and they made sure to warn me about the pain / after effects.Overall, please come here to do your piercing(s)! Its important to get your piercing done by professionals. Great experience and great people.(Picture was taken right after getting the piercings)

Came in for an ear piercing walk-in and was met with some of the worst customer service lve ever received. Ear piercings are located downstairs but the entrance was closed off. Upon coming upstairs for help I was told do go back downstairs and wait. Employees were chatting in the room and actively ignoring me.The same employee from upstairs came downstairs and asked me some questions (which I couldnt hear due to loud music/conversations and the fact that I am hard of hearing). I asked her to please repeat and she yelled them at me. I immediately declined their service afterwards.Its a shame that the customer interaction was so poor that no service was even preformed. I came to this shop almost 10 years ago for another piercing and had a much better experience then.I am unsure if the management has changed, but Im shocked at how I was treated as a returning customer.

This is by far my favorite/go-to shop in the peninsula. The staff are so nice, welcoming, and professional - and they do a really fantastic job. I have yet to get a tattoo done here (really want to get a touch up done soon!), but I’ve gotten many consultations and piercings here over the last 8 years. Each piercing I got was done with great care and I have never had an issue with infections etc. as the equipment is always properly sterilized and the jewelry is high quality. Years ago my tragus piercing had a habit of falling out (which was my fault), but I was able to walk in and get it screwed back on for only $15. I came in this week to see if there was any chance I could get my navel re-pierced, and to my surprise the piercer was able to do it flawlessly despite some scar tissue from a previous piercing and surgery I had there. Thank you Belmont Tattoo!! I love this shop, I’ll be back soon 😃

Piercer was very busy, but things seemed well controlled, & clean! Piercer was easy to work with. I was able to get nearly everything I wanted, but they were out of stock of some jewelry styles in real gold. Im trying titanium. 2nd time getting LaBret pierced & got the Medusa at same time. Having both at same time is also known as a Cyber Byte? or Cyber pierce...

Gloria, the piercer, was friendly, clean and professional. I came by to get a quick consultation on my recent lobe piercings, which I had gotten done elsewhere and was unhappy with. She informed me on how I can get them to close up to get them repierced in a few weeks, and to also use titanium jewelry next time due to the visible irritation. She was nice enough to even remove the jewelry for me (they had ball back bearings which are hard to remove), and used all sanitary practices to do so. Looking forward to coming back to get my ears repierced here!

I went into the shop feeling nervous because I am very afraid of needles and was about to get my first ear piercing. The lady who helped me was super knowledgeable and friendly, which calmed me down. The piercing was quick and the pain only lasted a second. The prices were pretty good and they had a wide variety of jewelry to choose from. 100% recommend going to this shop for an ear piercing. Definitely coming back for another piercing in a couple of months.

I would definitely head back here for future piercings. The staff were great, really helpful.I had an overall good experience at this store; in particular the body piercer, who seemed willing to take the extra time with me and figuring out what piercings would work best in my(small)ears.

I took my daughter to get her ears pierced today and was impressed with how clean the studio was and how they took Covid-19 precautions seriously. Jess worked with us and walked us through the whole process of piercing so we felt comfortable with everything. We were impressed with how detail oriented, patient and careful she is. I would highly recommend Jess to anyone considering piercing.

Got my nose pierced here, once I got in, it was pretty quick. I like how they do walk ins for piercings, so you dont have to have an appointment which is nice, especially for me sjnce I wanted to do this on my birthday. The piercing part of the establishment is in the back of the building. They will have you complete paperwork, I liked how serious they were about making sure you are of age & other health concerns. Be sure to bring cash. Their sign says cash preffered but its definitely mandatory. They allowed me to get my piercing & then come back & pay.

A great experience getting earrings and finding my ears pierced again. Looking forward to getting some tattoo work here :)

I went last weekend to this place and I got my nose piercing replaced cuz I wanted to get a hook one, and two days later I went back cuz my nose piercing was super red itchy and bleeding so I went there and there were two tattoo artists, I explained the situation to them and they did not even have the decency to approach the door to talk to me, from their workplaces they were yelling “the piercing girl will be back next Tuesday”. I explained them that it was hurting and all , they didnt care they didnt say anything just a gesture with their hands like 🤷🏻‍♀️… I was very upset afterwards, first cuz how they treated me and second they didnt tell me if the piercing girl have like social media that I could contact her and ask her if I could do something. I dont not recommend this place at all.

My husband got his ears done here and the shop was clean, the staff was friendly, and the aftercare instructions were explained with medical professionalism. I learned a lot! Definitely coming back for more piercing work.

1st experience more then 4 months ago for my nose piercing with Brittany, she is very honest and had a ton of information for post care.I had difficulty with the initial jewelry and lead me to a nose bump. I returned and she changed the jewelry and provided the best instruction, nose bump went away within days and my nose healed super quick.I decided on a whim to get a SET of piercings just yesterday, with Stephanie. This place has been blessed with 2 awesome piercers. Stephanie was professional and humorous. Again walked out happy and holey :)My go to place.

Came here to get my ear lobes repierced since its been years since Ive worn earrings. They were very helpful when I inquired about piercing services which it seems like they only have for a few weeks at a time. I got there just after they opened at noon and waited around 20 minutes to fill out paperwork so give yourself plenty of time. Preferred payment is cash or payment apps so also be prepared for that.

Best friend and I decided to go get piercings one night and found Belmont Tattoo. Nessa was great and helped us both out even though we walked in about an hour before closing. Everyone was super nice and everything was super clean. Will definitely be going back for other piercings and maybe for tats as well.

I am from utah, on vacation and had a tear in my earlobe with nothing on hand to clean it, or jewelry to switch out (I had a bottle cap in place from a Listerine bottle), I called and came in and the piercer was, simply put... AWESOME, very friendly, knowledgeable and great bedside manner. Everyone in the shop was very polite. It was clean and orderly with a great vibe and also didnt break my bank for a quick fix. The piercer cleaned my ear and switched my jewelry out for me with no problem! To bad Im from out of state or Id be visiting more often. I also loved her style and appearance! Id definitely recommend whether for an emergency such as mine or for more standard ongoing work.Thanks SOOOXOXO MUCH!

Anni Bloor was fantastic - quick to respond to my email, called and chatted about my design, and worked hard to merge my pre-made design with my vision. She also did some great fine-line free-hand drawings that were fantastic!

Jess is incredible! Im currently 14 and I was terrified to get my 2nd piercing but Jess helped me through it. Shes so kind hearted. I highly recommend getting a piercing here!

Really nice, friendly and quick. Took my son for his first piercings and it was great. Highly recommend. Support local businesses! Dont go to the chain stores in the mall.Also, for piercings, you park in the back. The entrance is in the back.

I got my very first tattoo as soon as I turned 18 here, 21 years ago.Timey was my tattoo artist. He was awesome to deal with and put together my tattoo just as I described it, my own custom design from my head into his pen and stencil and into my skin.I dont know how many of my friends from high school I sent over to him and some other guy that worked there that I didnt get to meet but all and all, this place holds a dear place in my heart for being my first tattoo experience.I hope the owner reads this review and lets me come in to start an apprenticeship in the business, Id like to learn from the true pioneers in San Mateo County!

Ive been here twice now for piercings. The shop is very clean and tidy. Jess is the bomb! She is both personable and professional. She is quick and efficient. Her instructions for the piercing process and aftercare are clear, and easy to follow. I healed quickly as well. It was the least amount of pain that Ive ever felt getting pierced. I think Im looking for another part to get pierced! Thanks for the sharp needles Jess!

Complete waste of time. Spoke to someone yesterday that said their piercer would be there at 12 and that I didn’t need to make an appointment. Get there at 12:40 only to be told their piercer isn’t even there and that she might be in around one. Drove a half hour there and a half hour back. Smh. I have 5 tats and 3 other body piercings and never had anything like this happen.

Went in for a nose piercing, had a terrible experience and outcome. Lady who was piercing was completely impatient and even somewhat mean. Then she pierced it in the wrong place and at the wrong angle (got an opinion from other professional piercers). She made me pay for after spray and forgot to give it to me, as well as acted like it was a chore to give me aftercare instructions. Ended up taking it out and getting it repierced.

Chris did an amazing job with a line work that i wanted! im not from california & i really wanted a tattoo & im very happy with my choice of going here. super clean, watched him sterilize his spot, made me feel comfortable when i was getting a tattoo on my rib cage. I recommend this shop & chris 100%, thank you for the tattoo & the friendly environment :)

I had gotten my design drawn out by an artist online and when it was done i decided to find a place close to my work that i could go to before my shift. I found Belmont and when i went in i met Chris and he worked with me and even came in on a day he normally doesnt work to do the tattoo. He did a really amazing job on it.

Tattoos- (Michael) is not only a true professional but also shows a lot of passion in art. I found him by fate and was lucky. Ive gotten 5 tattoos by him. Hes really good at traditional, shading, and lettering. Gives honest advice and isnt only in it for the $$$ hes on it for passion. If you run into him youre in good hands. Hes a gem.

Got piercings from nessa about 2 months ago, 👍👌 the piercings are straight. I felt comfortable with her being my piercer, glad I went to her, she was awesome friendly.

No appointments for piercings which is what I came for. Be prepared to wait a little on the weekend.
