I have had the pleasure of being serviced by both Stevie and Tracy. The work by both artists is so clean and pigmented. I felt so comfortable and was extremely satisfied with the outcome. I for sure will be back. I am super indecisive and every experience I have here, my artist is honest and talks me through the ideas and placement for an amazing end result. My best friend and I went to get piercings yesterday 10/10 would recommend and we will be coming back! Carman was great, very chill guy but also very knowledgeable. Walked both of us through the entire process and was joking around with us. Made us a lot more comfortable.Very relaxed vibe.

I went last Friday to get a simple tattoo and I got the worst tattoo ever! I don’t recommend anyone to go to this shop for a tattoo, am getting mines covered somewhere else cause ain’t no way am letting him fix it, but again I will not recommend this shop to anyone! I got my nose pierced like 2/3 years ago and the guy kept nodding out . It got closed up eventually so I went back to give another try and I guess Mr sandman got to him again . Never again will I go there . He also kept asking for a tip in cash specifically.

I had my first tattoo done by Tracy in the spring. I found her online on my own and Her work is amazing. I walked in for a consult and was soo nervous because it was my first tattoo and I didn’t want to be annoying by asking so many questions. She was super nice and had so much patience answering my questions. As expected my tattoo looks amazing and I’m going back in a few weeks for her to do my next one!

I have been using this Tattoo shop since I was of age. Every piercing I have was done by Carmen. He was always very professional and made me at ease. He was thorough about how to care for each piercing and I have never had a complication in regards to my piercing.I am thinking of going back to get another piercing very shortly and Carmen is the only man I trust for my next!!! If you have not visited the studio GO!!! You’re missing out on meeting great people and excellent work!!!

Highly recommend Alyssa. She is super nice and professional! I have gone to her for all of my stuff and will continue to. I’m a big fan of American traditional- it’s timeless and beautiful, and Alyssa does it incredibly well! I was very nervous the first time I was her client but she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed in the shop.

So I got my knuckles done by Jeff and I have never had such a comfortable, enjoyable experience! He was so nice and professional, made sure I was good the whole time, and the tattoos came out amazing. He will be seeing me a lot !!!

First Mr Carmen this happened right after my tattoo and the guys name was Jeff who did my tattoo and if he still works here you need to get rid of them If you go back and look at the pictures you can see the tattoo might be 3 years now but when I got it done is when I posted it and never once got called back to come in for a touch-up not once

My experience at Jersey Devil has been nothing less than above expectations. The tattoo artist I am working with, Jay (Jeff), has been great. His work is great and he’s fair with pricing. We are working on my sleeve right now and so far so good! Would recommend anyone looking for a tattoo check out Jersey Devil!

Tonight we brought in 2 nervous 14 year olds to get their noses pierced. Carman was fantastic with them! He was patient, thoroughly explained everything to them, and put them at ease. He definitely made their experience a great one. He said to bring them back when it is time to change their jewelry, and he can show them how to do it. If you are at all nervous, I highly recommend him for your piercings.

I never write reviews, I hate writing reviews which is why Ive waited so long to write this one. I had a traumatic experience here. My husband surprised me with paying to cover up a tattoo I got when I was young and dumb that I was very self conscious about. I was not familiar with this place, however, someone recommended. The tattoo artist who did the work was not experienced or qualified enough to do this type of cover up and should have been honest about that from the start. I would of appreciated the honesty and went to someone in the shop more experienced. There were also no suggestions given to me from the artist when I was openly asking for some ideas. As I was being tattooed there was a female artist doing work next to me who I wish I would of had my appointment with because it was good work. I was in severe pain once I left with the tattoo half done which I didnt think too much of at first. The pain continued for days and I had open wounds in areas of the tattoo where layers of my skin was gone like open wounds. I have plenty of large tattoos and this has NEVER happened to me. When he was doing the coloring he was ripping into my skin. I ended up needing antibiotics because the open areas became infected. There is now scarring over those areas. Overall I ended up with a half finished tattoo over what was already a cover up, I also lost a significant amount of money because the full job was paid for ahead of time and obviously, I never went back.

Jeff did a great job on my tattoo and I will be back to finish my sleeve :)

Carmen did my belly button piercing and he was great, he was very calm and made me feel at ease. He ran through all the details of aftercare and made sure I knew if I had any questions or problems later on, I could just come in and he would help.

Its a good tattoo shop-I LOVE the 1st tat I got here , the other one Im kinda EH about cause of the color work but that could be MY issue not the artists. All my daughter in laws tats are brilliant tho

The guy downstairs was miserable and made me feel unwelcomed and the piercer complained about his dad the entire time.On top of that he put the wrong jewelry in my nose which left me very uncomfortable and would constantly pop out. He also gave me wrong cleaning instructions and it dried my peircing out causing me more pain.Go somewhere else. This establishment is not what it once was.

Came in for a walk in on my 18th birthday and was treated very rudely by the man at the desk. if you are younger or new to getting tattooed or pierced i definitely would not recommend going here, they also have some really weird policies that they claim is “law” but nowhere else has ever heard of that rule. when i asked him a simple question he told me that it “wasn’t his problem” and i left. went elsewhere and didn’t need any of the things he claimed i needed and got wonderful service at Old Soul tattoo in mantua.

I get my tattoos done by Tracy. Shes a great artist and always delivers amazing tattoo. Also met Jeff on one of my visits and got to see his work and it was awesome, definitely a cool chill vibe there.

Justin tattooed my mom and I today. It was my moms first tattoo ever. He was so great at explaining everything to her as he went along, as well as repeatedly going over after care. Not only was he professional and safe, but he was extremely personable, kind and funny. He made us feel like family in the short time we were there. Would definitely recommend. So glad to have finally found a tattoo artist I want to use exclusively!

Justin put me at ease and had us laughing the entire time. The tattoo is perfect, even better than imagined. Jeff is the best! I had him do multiple tattoos for me from big pieces all the way to simple small tattoos! He did 2 coverups for me that I was told by other artists at other shops were not possible to do without laser removal, but Jeff was able to do the coverups with no issues at all!! This is the dirtiest and most unexperienced tattoo artists look at my neck its a flower he dug so hard in my neck that it messed my whole entire tattoo up now I paid $450 for this tattoo I let it heal like they told me to and now theres barely any color in it I recommend you do not go to New Jersey devil tattoos for no piercings no tattoos or anything theyre filthy theyre dirty the Guy that did my tattoo had dreads he was a color guy with dreads his name was Jeff the worst tattoo artist Ive ever seen hopefully they fired that dude if they dont put more color into my tattoo I am going to take legal action The piercer doesnt have any certifications to be piercing tattoo artist has no certifications besides Tracy I dont want to take it this far but the guy that did my tattoo is the one that made all this happen so hopefully they fix my tattoo and I dont have to take legal action if you tap onto photos you will see a flower purple and teal let me know how horrible it is thank you is u do decide to go the to get a tattoo recommend Tracy she did great with indeed of the best artist I ever sen

Carman was very nice to me, lm a little older than the average let’s say so l was nervous. He made me feel comfortable the place is nice and clean. Anyone interested in getting pierced or tattoos should definitely check him out.

I went to Jersey Devil in April 2021 to get a tattoo done by Tracy and I absolutely love it. However, in November 2021, I went and wanted to get a little semicolon on my wrist to match my sister. Jeff ended up doing our tattoos without appointment, which I really appreciated, but after almost a year of the tattoo healing, I am really unhappy with how it looks. I followed all the after care steps and the tattoo just looks nothing like a semicolon at this point. It is blobby, with ink missing in the middles. Also, the tattoo, which took probably a minute and a half from start to finish, cost us $75 each. I feel bad leaving this review because of how much I love my tattoo from Tracy, I just really dislike how my semicolon turned out.

Got my first tattoo by Justin. Very chill guy. He was quick but thorough even though it was a couple of words. You can tell this guy has takes much pride, joy, and care in his work! He kept me calm, comfortable and laughing the whole time and let me play whatever music I wanted. Definitely made the experience enjoyable. Appreciative of his craft. Thanks again!

Came here for my nipple piercings everyone was so nice welcoming professional while being chill from the woman on the phone when I called to the man I spoke with when I came to Carmen the piercer he was clean thorough w care instructions made me feel so comfortable not to mention I came close to him bein off and he took me when he didn’t have to! All around great experience will be back for sure.

The shop was clean and comfortable. The overall experience was great.I was an awful hard to reach customer who wanted same day service and showed up late. You know the type. Justin was super understanding about it. This was my first tattoo. He was informative and helpful and did a good job quickly. Would recommend.

I got my cartilage pierced here. The experience was pretty okay. I came with my friend because it was her birthday. Carmen, guy who did both of our piercings, was pretty laidback and sanitary. I thought my piercing was healing well, but it took a turn for the worse and I had to remove it.

I know the owners. Very quiet establishment-artists on deck with reputable experience. If your looking for a location native to the culture and history of that area, Jersey devil would be one of my first picks. 😈

I was very nervous about getting my first tattoo done I didn’t want it to look bad. But when Justin showed me the drawing and started working on my tattoo, it was turning out so amazing. I love it so much! He did great. Definitely going back to get another one:)

When I arrived the tech was running late but got there in about 20 minutes.. He did a great job. Next time I will call to make sure he is available or set an appointment. Walk in imo is not recommended if you are in a hurry.

Mine and my sisters piercings were messed up. Too much skin was clamped with hers and wasn’t fixed, also got so infected she now has more scarring on her belly. Mine was basically in my belly button, literally, mine also got so infected I had to take it out. And yes we were cleaning it the way he told us to.

I called a couple days ahead and was told to arrive on a certain day and time. My friend and I show up, they said they have no openings. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed as my friend and I took a day off work to get our tattoos.We ended up going elsewhere and were very happy with those results.Really unhappy with Jersey Devil.Edited to add (after the owners comment) that no one told us that we needed to put down a deposit to book when we called, we were simply told what day and time to arrive, otherwise wed have done that. Very rude owner response, too. Still disappointed in this company.

Justin did my first sons footprint tattoo and I was hooked. He is a true artist and puts his creativity into his work to make it unique. Been here twice. Jeff is really gifted artist. Very patient and thorough he worked with the design I wanted and improved on it. Laid back shop too. Friendly atmosphere. Flexible pricing. Recently got 3 nice size pieces done by the artist Justin (kopa). Love the work he did, prices were very fair. Very clean and friendly enviornment. The other artists there are also very friendly and answer any questions you might have. They all do awesome work as well. I enjoyed my experience and was satisfied with the work done that I decided I am going to get a full sleeve on my left arm and have it all done at jersey devil by Justin. I would reccomend jersey devil to any of my friends an family or anyone who wants to get work done. Overall awesome experience. Definitely try them out if you want good work done at a fair price.

The revamped staff and family style atmosphere made it an easy decision for my wife and I to pick Jersey Devil over going to a few of the closer options to us. Since going there Justin has tattooed me a few times and Nick has tattooed my wife. Miranda also did a lip piercing on my wife and nostril piercings on both of us. I love this place and all the people there. 5 stars doesnt do these guys enough justice.

3rd tattoo and probably the best place so far. They were the only one to take walk-ins and I’m glad. The shop was very clean and the artists are friendly and know what they are doing. I am very disappointed with my visit. I won’t be coming back. My reasoning being Jeff added his own spin on my tattoo without telling me until after it was done. He changed things without consulting me. My tattoo was supposed to match someone else’s. And he added different things to each of them. I am very upset about it. This is permanent and definitely something that should be discussed before free handing something extra that someone doesn’t want. Also, in my opinion it was overpriced as well.

Got my septum pierced here and it was extremely crooked. When I called to let them know they asked why I didnt say anything when I looked in the mirror after getting it done, to be honest I was just excited to have my septum pierced but soon after realized how bad it looked (youd think the person who pierced it would notice right away that it was very crooked and would say something). I will say, the piercer apologized and offered to re pierce it but at that point I just did not want to go back there. I went to a different piercing shop where they confirmed that it did not look good and re pierced it in the correct spot and position. Also by looking at the salty replies this shop left on their bad reviews you can tell that they are unprofessional and dont take criticism well, Im even a little hesitant to write this review because Im a very non confrontational person and am not looking forward to the backlash I may get from the shop after posting this.

Great experience!!! I got 2 Tattoos there just the other day. I called up n they got me right in!!. My Tattooist was SHAY OLIVIA.. WHAT AN AWESOME ARTIST. I walked into this place, thinking I would get my tattoo done... until I smelled the pot that had clearly been smoked right before my fiancé and I walked in. The two guys that were there definitely looked inebriated, the shop didnt look very clean and I became very uncomfortable. I ended up getting my industrial pierced and the piercer also smelled like weed. Im happy with the piercing, but I will not go back again. And I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter got her cartilage done, and I got my Daith. Carmen was great. He keep us calm, and breathing, and talked to us the whole time. Will definitely be going back for future piercings.

Ever since I was old enough to get tattoos I was always told to stay away from this shop, never understood why until now. Ive never seen a business be so unprofessional with people before and Ive also never seen a shop offer free tattoos just for good reviews. You shouldnt have to sway people with free stuff in order to get a 5 star.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! I got a tattoo here and now have to go somewhere else to get it fixed the ink is all faded half of it is gone and the lines dont even match up and worst of all my entire tattoo is now scar tissue and when I went to get it touched up they told me make an appointment and that ied have to pay them another 200$ for them to fix there own mistakeEdit: to respond to jersey devil it was justin and I was given that price when I showed him my tattoo while out playing pokemon go me and my friend ran into him at a gym battle to catch articuno

They do not open when they say that they open. They also arent open at all when it says they are open. Ive tried coming here 3 times to no avail. If youre trying to get pierced, i suggest convent in deptford. Jersey devil wont be getting my business.

Nik V. is my artist, hes open minded and very light handed...hes done two of my tattoos and two of my hubbys. I live a good 45-50 minutes away and still will take the drive for good work and good people! I am a very picky person when it comes to my artists that I choose...and I chose Nik and hes been my artist for almost two and a half years !! As long as I still have space, I will always pick him!!! So if your new to Jersey devil, I would definitely go with Nik!His work shop space is on the Right as soon as you go up the steps!!! Go see him !!!! Its worth the drive!!! Thanks Nik !!!

I went here for a Friday the 13th tattoo. A girl did it, Tracy, and Im giving two stars bc they got us in within .half an hour even though it was packed. But besides that it was less than pleasurable her friend came in and sat next to me. They gossiped about faceFacedrama, and she was digging in further than necessary. It was short the color was right and I took it hope to let it heal. She didbdi talk to me or look at me. When it heals I realized she didnt even fill it in all the way. Safe to say Im not going back! Ill have to have someone else fill it in because it looks bad. So disappointed.

Me and my sister called before walking in to make sure we didnt need an appointment for a piercing. He said we can come now. We came in and waited for about 40 minutes. The guy walked past 2 times and didnt even acknowledge we was there. We waited 15 more minutes then left. Bad business.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The artists are professional and make the experience comfortable. It is very clean and Justin Kopa is the only person I will probably ever let tattoo me again. Love this place!!

Carman had dirty fingers and smelled like dirty bong water. His voiced slurred while explaining the procedure to me and my friend. He was rude and treated my friend and I like we were stupid. I wanted an L-bend placed and he changed a corkscrew into one. It poked the inside of my nostril so much that it started to bleed and the stud itself started to sink in due to its tight placement. It later sunk in my nostril and I had to push it back out because I could not take it anymore. How is he still working there!? DO NOT GO THERE NO MATTER WHAT.

Been here before. Wasn’t a bad experience but I’m a little upset I’ve been trying to get in to get a small tattoo and haven’t been able to. I was told they would let me no if the day I asked for worked, and they never did. They just forgot about me so looks like I’ll be going somewhere else with my moneyAlso I’ll edit in, that your response to me is super unprofessional. I was told I would be let known about the day I asked for and NO ONE told me anything. I got forgot about . I could’ve left a deposit but how can I when NO ONE CALLS ME BACK ABOUT THE DAY I ASKED FOR !? Makes sense. Way to come back at your customer with rude comments 😂😂

I went there last night the piercer seemed high out of his mind.. he told me the credit card machine was down, so i went to go get cash, i asked him prices and he said 55 each for a tongue ring but since its both of you ill give it to you for 100 if you tip me.. my friend and i were like ok yeah whatever. well he made us sign the paperwork.. both of us on the same sheet.. didnt make my friend initial anything..didnt even card us. and then when i got in the chair he clamped my tongue and i couldnt control my tongue going it, so he was yelling at me, saying i wasnt cooperating then he literally pulled my tongue out of my mouth until i sreamed and cried and he argued with me while my tongue was clamped. and then he was gonna pierce the end of my tongue so he clamped that.. and i tried to say i dont want it on the edge of my tongue and he started freaking out while the tip of my tongue was still clamped all the while he was arguing with me, and told me well if u dont get it done im still charging you. he eventually made me lay down and then pierced my tongue slowly.. ive never been in so much pain, and the dude didnt even care. its not like he was busy. it was 10 at night we were the only ones there. and maybe i wouldnt have been so tense if he would have been relaxed with me and made me feel calm.. i dont understand the guy that was there before made me feel comfortable and waited till i was ready. but this guy just pushed it to the limit till i was legitally in tears. i will never go back. and i bet you he pocketed that money. and btw i still cant feel the tip of my tongue. i am now getting worried...DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS, UNLESS THE DUDE IS FIRED!!
