Butchs Tattoo and Body Piercing

Got a piercing here. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Andy was super professional. His workspace is super clean, which immediately puts you at ease and is very meticulous in his preparation and procedure, ensuring everything is sterile. His precise technique ensure his expertise and skill with a gentle approach. He takes the time to explain each step and answer any questions, making you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Andy for anyone seeking a safe, clean, and top-notch piercing experience.

Went in for some work after another local shop canceled an appointment. Met with an artist gave him my idea and by the end of the week had the work done. The next week went in and had more work done. I cant say how impressed I was with the customer service and the shop as a whole. Great down to earth people who can get you your vision put on with excellence. Already making plans for at least 2 more pieces.

Chris Melchert did a phenomenal job on my sons tattoo and mine. His personality and deminour was on on point. We will definitely go back for his artwork. I totally give this shop a 5 Starz. They deserve it!!!

Nothing against the man who greeted me and helped my niece figure out ideas for a tattoo cover-up; he and the other guy were great. Their piercer, Andy, on the other hand, made me feel EXTREMELY unwelcome. I was standing in the lobby, before getting on my cellular device; a man comes around the corner and is just putting his head down, tapping his foot, just actually casually annoyed. So then my niece comes to me and says, Is anyone around to help you with your piercing ? I start to say no, but then the guy who completely stood there, tapping his foot, chimes in and says, Uh, yeah, thats me, in an annoyed manner. Mind you, IVE NEVER BEEB TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT IN MY LIFE, AND NOR WAS THIS GUY WEARING A NAME TAG FOR ME TO IDENTIFY WHO THE PIERCER WAS! We get to his booth/office, and he goes to find placement for the piercings that I want on each side of my nose; this goes on for 20 minutes. He then proceeds to tell me that he cant make my piercings symmetrical because of having my family calls a small button nose. He went on to tell me that I did not understand what he was saying (even though I was not being confrontational or speaking loudly). The guy seemed very annoyed at the introduction. He was very `fidgety` and was tossing his tools on his tray aggressively which was further making me uncomfortable. At that point, I didnt feel comfortable with this guy putting any needles towards my face and I told him that I would figure something else out. I went to OG Tattoo & Piercings, where a woman named Mya (Mia) (Im not sure how to properly spell it, but I hope one of those is correct). SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB AND GOT BOTH SIDES PERFECTLY DONE. Her customer service skills are amazing, and she was very polite throughout the whole process. I cant say the same for the treatment I received from Andy, the piercer guy.

He did my tattoo amazingly, I was nervous, as it was my first time, but he was calm and nice about EVERYTHING! I think his name is.... Jacob? I dont have the best memory! 😅 but he did some beautiful line work for me, I definitely will be going back when I can!

I walked in, and a super nice staff of men were helping multiple groups of people piling in; Yet somehow the wait ended up being pretty short. They were quick, efficient, and thorough. My specialist measured my old ear piercings carefully to find the right gauge and new jewelry to refresh my look. Nobody pressured me into repiercing them bc they genuinely wanted to do the best thing for my skin tissue. New earrings with a perfect fit!

Love this place. Been getting tattoos here for years. Great staff. Always great work. I personally get tattooed by James. Top notch artist that makes sure he puts something on you that will last and look good years to come. Great pricing too. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Had to leave deposit to make an appointment which wasnt an issue. Had 1 sit down to start a large piece and by a few weeks later the tattoo artist quit the shop. Out my deposit, and still have unfinished tattoo. Shop said deposit goes to artist not the shop.

I really love the atmosphere here at butchs helps to distraction of the pain at first..they are awesome and love the prices keep up great work

On every platform it says they are open until 8pm. Even on the front door of the shop. Went there at 6:30 and absolutely no one was there. I had called a day prior to make sure i could come in, yet when i arrived it was completelt vacant. Would not reccomend

Amazing place! I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from different artists here but I followed Laura (Lolo) to Butch’s from another studio. She does amazing work and is so open to working with you on your art pieces. I’ve never had an issue with what is being charged for the service I’ve gotten. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for and she does beautiful work. I also know to plan my time there accordingly as your tattoo will be drawn up at the time of your appointment to ensure you are completely satisfied with it. I’ve recommended her to multiple people as well.

My fiancé went to Butch’s for a walk-in tattoo, it was a little bigger than a quarter on her hand. The tattoo artist James had made it seem like a huge inconvenience on his end after accepting her. She sat down, he didn’t ask for placement or size and tried placing the stencil, which was far from what she wanted, so she asked if instead she could have it switched to a smaller size and more like what she was wanting. He then proceeded to have an attitude and changed the size to what she wanted. Then, while in the middle of getting her tattoo, he started rudely judging the tattoos she already had from other artists. Also, an aside, but the tattoo was wildly overpriced at $100 for a tattoo just bigger than a quarter that took roughly 10 minutes to complete. If I could give zero stars I would.

Andy is so great at his job, i have came here for all of my piercings (nipples, belly button, earlobes and now helix piercings) except i got my double ear lobe piercing done at Og tattoo in grain valley. at Og they definitely run things differently, especially the prices. but even then my experiences here at butches have been excellent! highly recommend coming here for your next piercing. prices are great, you get to see everything cleaned and opened in front of you, and Andy talks you through every single step to make you comfortable and know what is going on. highly recommend!

I was having a difficult time with my tattoo /I was a total mess/ But the person who did my tattoo made sure to do it as quickly as possible to get it over with for me, despite the trouble i was giving him he did a wonderful job. Its beautiful, i love it. I would definitely go back /If i had a higher pain tolerance/ lol! My friend got the same one and didnt flinch. 😕 10/10 would reccomend.

Took my son for his 1st piercing. He wants to go back cause they were very helpful, full of info and pretty cheap. Drove an hour to get there and it was well worth it.

It was our friends first tattoo, and she did GREAT!!! James was very sweet and accommodating!

I have got 2 tattoos here, the first one was great done by David, very reasonable price. However Lolo did my next tattoo which also is a great tattoo, but she charged me 300$ for a tattoo that took 40 minutes. One of my friends was also charged 300$ for a very small tattoo that took 20 minutes. Both of us are younger girls and she took advantage of our age in my opinion. Everyone else is great, book with someone other then her!

1 yr up-date. I cannot thank James enough for taking me as a walk-in on that Friday about a year ago.I have had many many people ask who did it because of the great line work. I keep telling them, James at Butches. Thank-you again.

A great place to get a tattoo or piercing! All the guys and gal was very helpful. Zach yates is one of the best artists I have came across. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Everyone else at butches is amazing!! However that Lolo girl is ridiculous. Quoted my friend $150 an hr for a tattoo, then spent maybe 30 minutes tattooing and told her the total on top of her $50 deposit was going to be $250. Keep in mind, she was also 50 minutes late for the appointment. Tattoo was great, the lying about price was not.

I called them to check to make sure they had a piercer. They were quick and to the point of answering my questions.When we arrived, we were greeted and acknowledged right away. My mom filled out an information sheet. They copied her I.D. and within a few minutes, she was pulled to the piercing area. Andy was quick, informational, and acknowledgable! My mom enjoyed getting her piercing, and I would definitely suggest going there to get a piercing!!

Went here because of the reviews. I have never seen anyone at a shop work like Butch. The guy was nonstop with all the people getting piercings. I was there like 2 and 1/2 hours and let me tell you he never even stopped for a break. He was super down to earth and gave information to you depending on the piercing. This guy is absolutely amazing at what he does. This is the only place you should go if you are trying to get a piercing.

I was tattooed by Lolo for the first time and she will be my person. I knew what I wanted but was all over the place. I emailed her various designs so she understood my aesthetic. I have learned that what happens in my brain and what is reality are on two different planes. She was able to create something I love and proud to show off! Will be a returning customer!

The best piercing I’ve ever received. I stopped in as a walk in late on a Saturday night during vacation and I was in the chair within 20 minutes. The piercer was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I watched him clean everything in the piercing room and open up a new needle. I really appreciate that he didn’t count at all, he just walked me through what he was about to do and did it. I have 14 piercings and this is the best experience I’ve ever had, super budget friendly as well. I will be stopping here anytime I’m in the area!

Walked in for our appointment at 1 and wasn’t greeted by Lolo until 1:50pm. Tattoo ended at 2:30pm and was charged $300 after being quoted $150? Don’t know when that changed, and the nasty attitude from Lolo didn’t help either. Everyone else at butches is extremely nice and helpful but she was extremely rude and so unwelcoming. Literally book with anyone else but Lolo.

I really like this shop but i have mixed feelings about a few things. One, the piercer is superrrr nice and calm, very reassuring. But on the other hand i came in for snakebites and it went smoothly, but when he put the jewelry in it looked a little small and it felt super tight. I asked if i needed a different or bigger bar because it was digging into my lip a little and he said there was plenty of room for swelling and that its sore because it’s irritated and new. The next day my lip is real swollen, normal stuff, but the bar is digging into my lip more and more and its super painful. I was unable to go back to the shop that day so i waited until the next. Day three, the back of the bar was almost completely submerged in my swollen lip and eating, talking, snd moving was very painful. I went back to the shop to get longer bars but the piercer wasnt there so they gave me the next size up and said either come back tomorrow to get them put in or put them in myself. I just put them in myself because i didnt wanna go back a fourth time in the span of three days. Good place, nice people, not so good experience. The bar they gave me was smaller than my pinky, there was absolutely no room for swelling and trying to get them out took over an hour because they were so tightly screwed on and embedded into my lip. Had to have a friend come into my job to help me put them in. Always make sure to upsize.

I have only gotten piercings here. I highly recommend! Andy is AMAZING. He makes sure you like the spot it will be in before he pierces and explains aftercare every time. Everyone there is always nice and if theres a wait, they make sure youre doing alright while you wait.

A great ink experience! Josh did a wonderful job. We will be back.

I recently had my first tattoo here, Hunter did wonderful work and was Professional every step of the way 👏 everyone I met was nice and the guy who does the piercings was cool as well, my tattoo and nose ring are healing nicely. If your looking at this for a tattoo or piercing, I highly recommend this shop.

I came in a couple ear piercings and the girl up front was super nice! I got taken back within 5 mins and the piercer explained everything in detail, was thorough and accurate with my piercings and asked me for my opinion on them all the way through! He was very clean with the whole process and super chill! Highly recommend!!

The piercing guy is wonderful! He does a such great job that we drove 45 minutes after moving to use him again. Prices are also great!

Got mine and my daughters nose pierced here. She also got her ears pierced. Andy was super gentle, talked us through it, and made the experience great!

Tim did an unbelievably awesome job on a portrait for me! Shop is super clean, all staff is very friendly and talented! They require a deposit to hold your spot which comes comes out of the total price. Overall one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any shop I’ve ever been in.

Andy, who does piercings, has been nothing but awesome since I started coming here in October. Hes given great advice, is super friendly, and is on top of everything. Clean, affordable, great staff... I *HIGHLY* recommend these guys for your needs. Trust me, you wont be disappointed!!

Ive visited Butchs for a couple tattoos and I also took in my 7 year old for an ear piercing. Ive yet to have a negative experience with the employees there.Ive seen Todd for a very small walk-in tattoo. He was quick and gentle, specifically telling me that he was going to start slow so I could adjust to the feeling before he did the more tender part of the tattoo.Andy, the piercer, was fabulous with my daughter. He walked her through what to expect, he measured and remeasured and took great care to set her earring perfectly. He took into account her unique ears and didnt pierce them until he was satisfied that they were set *just* right. He was very respectful and kind to her through the whole thing.Most recently, Ive seen Zach. I walked in, briefly told him what I was looking to have done. He drew it up quickly and went to work. It turned out amazing and he was good company through the process.Highly recommend everyone Ive seen here!

I was lucky enough to work with Tim on some script above my elbow and its absolutely beautiful, easily my favorite piece Ive ever gotten. I’ve always loved Butch’s! The woman at the front is always so friendly and helpful. I was a walk-in, so I did wait awhile (which is expected.) Laura did a few small finger tattoos and was awesome! She took her time to make sure it was perfect, was friendly, and talented!

Called earlier in the day to make sure i could come in and get some jewelery put in, told they’d be open until 8 and a piercer would be there. arrived at 7:38 to locked doors and an employee inside yelling at me that everyone left.

My forward helix ball fell offAndy got me right in and took the hoop I had in it to keep it from closing and gave me at no charge a new bar.He told me how to take care of it as I had it all swollen messing with it.I’m in the medical field and I have asked yo see spore reports. This shop is clean and ran like a shop should be !He’s kind fast professional But makes you feel like a person not a number like some shops. He also has a small space that isn’t wide open which I like, makes me feel private.. no one is walking by looking at you.No one will ever pierce me but Andy.Thanks Andy and you Butches.Y’all the best!!! Got a new piercing here. First upon entrance I noticed how clean it was and the lighting was great. Once brought into the private room for the piercing, everything was thoroughly explained and the process was simple and comfortable. Highly recommend this place for any future piercings.

We are from out of town, was looking to get my nose pierced. From the time we walked in, everyone was nice, polite and friendly. I had an amazing experience getting my nose pierced. Let me not forget to mention how clean this establishment was. Going back to Tennessee happy!!!

Best place in KC to get a piercing! (Have went for 3 piercings but havent gotten a tattoo there YET) Hes very knowledgeable and has years of experience. Takes time with each client to make sure what you want will work with your body part. Is always honest and very fair priced.

Got a Monroe piercing done. Was just a walk-in, and only had to wait maybe 15 min or so. Andy was super quick, clean, and professional. I was a little nervous but he made the process go by with so much ease! I was impressed. Would definitely come back.UPDATE: Came in for a daith on my right ear. Had to wait a little bit but so worth it, and theres good reason behind it!! Andy is hands down the best piercer out there!! He makes sure youre feeling okay from start to finish, and all the time in between. Even though I was super nervous he made me feel relaxed right away. Great selection of jewelry too. Safe to say I will keep getting my piercings done here!!!

I just moved to Blue Springs from Columbia and was looking for a good piercer. I got my tragus piercing in each ear and my nose ring changed out. Andy was very nice and did a great job! I highly recommend him! Very reasonable pricing too! I will be back. Go see Andy!

Stopped in to get my daughters ears pierced. Its a lot more challenging of a task than I expected. State of Missouri requires her to have a picture ID and a birth certificate. Some establishments wont pierce ears for a 14 year old. Butchs does and I cant offer a higher recommendation.We got there about 15 minutes before they close and could very easily Been Told we were too late. Not at Butchs. The guys were cool and gave us our paperwork to fill out and got to us just as soon as they were finished with the customer in front of us.As a parent you want to know that the environment is clean and the materials used will be sterile. Thats exactly what we found at Butchs. All the equipment was opened from sterile bags in front of us and he showed us where he wiped all the surfaces down with disinfectant before we came in.The piercing itself went very smooth and 6 weeks later my daughter is very happy with the results.Final comment is on cost. Butchs was very reasonable. I had shopped other piercing establishments in town who were asking for nearly twice what Butchs charged. Made it easy for me to give the guy a nice tip.Will definitely be back if she needs another one and would recommend it to all of our friends and family.

Got my ears pierced here and had a wonderful experience! The piercer knew what he was talking about and walked me through it even though I was extremely nervous and my ears are doing better than any piercings Ive ever had before! Thank you so much for my earrings Im truly grateful!

I came in last week with a couple pictures of my bestest friends, my dogs. I never met Tim Johnson before, but he seemed to be the guy for my request.I now have a fabulous sketch, tattooed wonderfully on my right arm. Thanks Tim! I will be back Butch and group!! Well I must reverse my positive review!! Fist 2 weeks my $400 tattoo was awesome. NOPE... CARVED SO DEEP THAT IT HAS TERRIBLE SCARRING. INK IS INCONSISTENT AND NOW I HATE THAT IM FOREVER STUCK WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL SKETCH BY A POOR TATTOO JOB. Destroyed my desire to get more ink. Sad and bummin

Best staff, great artists, ive got 12 tattoos and 8 have been done at butches. More will come, from butches. Have had friends get work done and love it. Theyve also gotten piercings done and were very very pleased.

I wish they would have told me it is a cash based business. Really would have saved time and several miles on my vehicle. It would have been helpful if I would have been told that no matter the piece wanted the charge would be 150 an hour. I believe I would have been prepared with cash on hand if I had known.To be fair amongst the many questions I did ask prior to going, seemed to get nowhere near finding out prices, I was told the house minimum would be 60 bucks and that theres an ATM I could use.Bottom line after I visited this place I was left with the feeling that I was not important and they could care less whether or not they got my business... I was more confused than when than I care to be. Now this is just my opinion based on a phone call and a visit.

The artist drew up what we wanted, first try and got it spot on! He was fast but did clean work.

I have had tattoos done by three different artists here. Honestly, I would trust anyone at Butches to do my tattoos. They employ very talented artist. On top of that, everyone in the shop is very friendly and helpful. They will take your vision and make it better than you imagined! This is the only place I will go and honestly, have an appointment tomorrow! 😍

I cannot believe what I just had to go through today, I walked inside and wanted to get a tattoo, and whenever I was assigned an artist, she started criticizing the tattoo that I really wanted, then she gave me her other options that were much smaller but were the same pricing as the original size I wanted. but the examples were so bad and the tattoo I wanted to get was criticized and denied. Very unprofessional guys

I went to get my nose pierced. The place was busy. But the employees were polite and professional. The guy who did my nose piercing was great!

Joshua was awesome. He made time in his schedule for all of my sisters to get the same tattoo together. We also asked last minute for an extra unplanned tattoo and he graciously accommodated us. The work looks great and we couldnt of asked for better service.

Went in for two piercings. Andy is just the best! I will definitely be back to see him for a tattoo removal. Then a replacement for it. Love this place.Update: Andy is the best for piercings. Have had two more and the tattoo removal is starting off fabulously. All of the guys Ive talked to have been totally up front about whatever Ive asked about. They go above and beyond to tell you the big picture rather than just inking on you.

Have been going to bleeding heart seeing various artists for the last 10 years. I can say without a doubt that although everyone Ive deal with there, Jared takes the cake. He is very friendly and personable and does a gray job at making you feel comfortable. Also full of knowledge. I thought I was done getting piercings but not after dealing with him for the first time!

I got my nose pierced here two years ago everybody was really nice. They were super sterile and clean with their needles and everything.Two weeks ago I went back and had my navel pierced I experienced the exact same thing very clean and friendly.

Ive been going to Butchs for over a decade now. Ive experimented with other shops as well and have yet to find one with the talent Butchs has to offer. Andy and Josh are both incredible and are all around easy to get along with. I always feel comfortable coming in and always leave eager to come back!

Josh did an amazing job on our mother, son tattoo. The barbell with weights and our name turned out better than I could have imagined. It has so much detail and red fades to the black flawlessly. I have a huge fear of needles and he made me feel calm and explained everything that was going to happen. My son will be going back in December for another tattoo.

Andy did an awesome job piercing my nose today! Seemed very knowledgeable, answered my questions and provided information for care. Would highly recommend!

I called around to several shops and most of the piercers REFUSED to pierce my 16-year-old daughters tongue for one reason or another (who knows why...maybe inexperience? Im not sure). We found Butchs by doing a Google search and even though it was WELL out of our way, Im so glad that we went. Not only did they pierce her tongue without issue, they were patient, had excellent pricing, and the shop was very clean. We were in and out, the longest part was filling out the necessary paperwork thats required for any piercing. I highly recommend this place and will go back in the future.

The music was very demons and hell worship. I was pushed off on the only female person doing walk ins. Which was fine. Butnshenwas pushy. Only one size forms image and color was hardly an option. My body my choice. But she did a great job. I think she just had a bad day.

Tony is an absolute master at his craft. Did an excellent job on my tattoo and prices were fantastic. Other than the smoky atmosphere, its a very, very cool place and I highly recommend their services.

It was quick and easy. Wasnt as expensive for a tongue piercing as I thought. Andy was very formal and funny. He made me feel better about getting my tongue pierced. I will definitely be going here for my tattoo cover up!

Cozy, space, and I dont mean that in a bad way, small, but responsive. Heard 2 or 3 artists answer calls about requests or questions even when they were off the clock. So theyre on their game. My gf had dual eyebrow piercings, done in less than 20 minutes (+ queue time ), she said he took his time to measure and balance, and make sure the prunings were symmetrical. Would highly recommend this place.

Andy is THE BEST piercer that I have ever been to. Very polite and knowledgeable, makes sure the piercing will be a comfy fit. I came in originally for a faith piercing but with my anatomy that was going to work...but I got my rook instead. Love it! And hes pierced me a 2nd time too..my Monroe. Will he back.

This shop is amazing! Butch free handed an amazing Phoenix Cover up on my chest and to this day its just as vivid as it was then! I recommend this place to everyone I run into in the KC Metro area! Prices are fair and the work is outstanding!

Ive known Butch for some years now through a hobby we share, we had made a trade years ago and a small tattoo was part of that trade. Fast forward about 5 years and butch reminded me to come get it done. Thats character right there, how many people in todays world would remind someone of something owed from five years prior?... helluva good guy move!For the work itself, Im thoroughly impressed! He took a flat, scanned internet image and brought it to life as more than just a tattoo of a flat logo or picture. Butch is definitely a tattoo artist, not just someone that does tattoos.The shop, clean and professional as you would expect. The few other artists in shop while I was there are what I would look for as employees with my business. Friendly, courteous, and seem like they would turn you away before ever trying to push something on you just for the sale.Im on the kansas side and will happily drive clear across town again on my next tattoo.

I have been going to butch for a long time. He is the only Tattoo artist I go to and my family goes to. But I know for a fact his crew is badass also cause I send friends up there to see them. If it’s not Butch himself that takes care of my friends and anyone else I send up there it is one of them. My family and I will never go anywhere else for our amazing Art. Thank you Butch and everyone at the shop for all the fun and laughs while we are there and the amazing Art.

Love love looooove this shop. Its where Ive been filling out my lord of the rings sleeve. Josh is an amazing artist, especially when it comes to black, gray, and shading. The artists are pretty easy to talk to, and theyre all down to earth. All the artwork Ive seen by them are great! Cant wait to finish this lotr sleeve! Scheduling a tattoo is especially easy, theyve been able to get me in within days after planning.

This is a great place if you dont care about what you get, or about being jerked around.My daughter is an artist, and she designed a tattoo for me. I shopped artists for months and found a few we thought capable of reproducing her work. At the bottom of the list was one person from this shop. Because of location I wanted it, the picture would need to be shrunk down a little.We were given a quote for between $100 and $150 and told it would be no problem, but due to personal circumstances I needed to put it off until recently.We called to try and make an appointment, since it is nearly an hours drive from me. We were told that it wouldnt be an issue getting in, but it was walk in only. On the way we were behind a car accident and so we called to get in letting them know we were on the way. We were told that it would not be an issue getting in and they still would not let us make an appointment.Now here is when the real issues started. We arrived and they had no availability. We were told Its tax season on a Friday, so I dot know what to tell you. That is not the bad part. The guy then decided HE wanted to redesign the tattoo my daughter had made. What we wanted was not relevant. The fact this was a tattoo designed by my daughter simply did not matter. He was going to do it HIS way and change a LOT of elements. In addition, he could not shrink it down like EVERY OTHER artist said they can. Now maybe they are not skilled enough, but more likely it is that a bigger tattoo costs more and they were trying to get more money from us. We were then quoted a new price and instead of $100-$150, it was now going to be $300+.So if you want to get jerked around and have someone try and hustle you for money then put whatever they feel like on you, then this is the place for you.

I didnt have an appointment, but I wasnt sure what piercing I wanted, but I was helped and given suggestions. Very clean and professional. Definitely would go back.

I would highly recommend this place to any one interested in getting any kind of piercing. I walked in and it was very clean and was greeted as soon as I walked in. I walked in with the intention of getting my daith pierced. I sat down and the guy who was doing the piercing, and he explained to me how he didn’t think a daith piercing would be right for me because of the shape of my ears. This was extremely comforting knowing that he wasn’t just going to push a needle through my ear just so he would get my money even though my body would most likely reject it. He then said we could settle on a different piercing if i would like. He walked though what would help compliment the shape of my ears and the other piercings i have on my ears. he went though all the equipment he was using and what he would be doing to complete the piercing. after, he talked me though the healing process, but didn’t try and sell me some gimmicky ‘rapid healing kit’. a very professional, personable and knowledgeable staff that i would recommend to anyone.

Went and got my nipples pierced here this last weekend. The entire experience was quick and simple. I’d say painless....but ya I had two needle shoved through my flesh so definitely not painless. 😂🤣 but was a good experience

Came here for a walk-in. Talked to a few people and was told whoever was going to do my tattoo had a few in front of me, and it would be around an hour to get me in, which was fine by me. Two hours later, somebody who came in later than me is getting their tattoo started, and nobody from the shop had spoken a word to me. At that point I just left. I get that if they had an appointment they go ahead of me, but i have no idea if they did because nobody would acknowledge I was even there. I understand as a walk in I am not priority but at least tell me what is going on. So if you want to waste your time, head on over to Butchs.

Fantastic! Got my cartilage pierced, easy peasy. Clean and sterile. Great music, CCR was playing The Midnight Special.I had my cartilage pierced nearly 20 years, with a piercing gun at some place in a mall. This was a wonderful experience, one pinch and done, no throbing for hours because of the trauma of the ear piercing gun. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to see Tim to get tattoos and the experience was great. Tim was very friendly and personable, the shop was clean, and the tattoos look great! Will definitely choose Tim for my next piece.

I had my nose pierced here. The service was quick, painless, and above all sanitary. I received great feedback on all of my questions and will definitely return for future services.

I had a cartlage piercing done a few days ago and it was worth it. THEY DO NOT NUMB YOU, which most places dont. The longest anything took was paperwork. Besides placement, it took no more than 5 minutes.Andy (?) Is who did my piercing and was very patient. He wore gloves through the whole thing. He also left everything in the package until right before he used each one (needle, piercing bar-thing, alcohol cotton, etc). He cleaned the area everytime I had him remark it, as I was VERY picky.If youre thinking about getting a cartlage piercing, heres what it feels like. If you have your ears stretched and had a slight infection, thats what it feels like for a few minutes. You feel the heat, slight sting, and a bit of pain all at once. If you can not handle pain, I do not suggest it. Although it feels like this, I havent had a single problem with it.Ive had piercings done before and going to Butchs was by far the BEST place Ive gone. Its worth your time and money. They are very reasonably priced, too.

A great place! I went with a friend who wanted to get a new ear piercing and I thought Yeah. Why not, me too! The piercer was amazing! The shop is super clean and very welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

Went there while a friend was made a tattooed and the tattoo artist is more impressed with himself and pretty much ignored all my questions so we wont be a client at that place.Also the artist was not 100% sterile yet tried to educate me as a biologist on what is sterile and whats not I dont want someone whos so full of themselves to put needles in my arms.

I got my piercing from Andy and he was great! Very patient and professional and clearly walked me through the process of my septum piercing. Great value, great price:)

Seems clean for the most part I guess. I DID NOT like the inconsistency in regard to their body piercing aka nose piercing policy. We were recommended to take my daughter to Butchs for her tiny little nose piercing she has wanted for years because she has always loved the style of the dainty itty- bitty, CZ round studs (it is as small as a pencil tip, if not smaller). Of course when we went in (after being sent by a couple ::) to remain nameless teens that got theirs done at 13 and the other at 14 with no issues and NO ADULT PRESENT mind you...) my daughter was SUPER EXCITED! I was with her to be sure I could give my PARENTAL consent and they STILL said No way we can do ANYTHING until she turns 15! (Which at the time was less 2 weeks AND were going to require her her birth cert and Pic ID and something else when we were to return at that point I stopped listening due to my disgust with their pick and choose method of implementing their so called strict in-house policy. Sad to know my daughter would have probably had a better chance to get her nose pierced if she had gone completely on her own or with another underage scantily clad friend....Talk about scary, sad and unfortunately seemingly true!!

I don’t even know if they do good work because I couldn’t even get past a rude 3 minute conversation with one of the staff. Basically all he was capable of clearly communicating was the things that were not done there.. piercings, touch ups, custom work, or hd. So basically you pick a design out of a book.

I brought my friend here for a piercing and got two myself and the piercer was very professional and good at explaining the process of the piercings as well as had everything very clean and tidy ,would definitely go back for another piercing!

Me and My mom were looking for a place to get our tragus pierced and we found them! The tattoo shop is clean and they play music. Prices for all piercings very depending on jewelry and since im only 17 I did need my mom to go but they only needed my ID and her ID. We will be back next week to get our surface tragus pierced. ( I got belly button and tragus pierced )

Got my snake bits done here. He got them uneven and pulled on them so they scarred. It was the second he was close to me that I noticed how red his eyes were and how he reeked or weed. As soon as the uneven holes were in my face I was obviously unhappy, but the guy claimed I squirmed. I had video evidence of myself showing that I had not moves because I was going to show off on fb. We went out to our car and smoked a cigarette and watched as two employees (one was my piecer) went out back and lit up a rolled joint. I tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

I felt like they did a bad job on my music note it’s fading away 6 days after I got it done it turned out good but now look like trash I spent 50$ on this music note and I only light scratch it while it was healing so I’m still not understanding why it’s fading away and the ink is going away I wish I could speak to a supervisor but I will get a refund back and see if I can get one cuz this is not ok
