I love Paradox! Been going here for the last few years and have nothing but great things to say about the shop. Everyone there is so friendly, and its a very welcoming environment with so many talented artists.This is the perfect place to get any kind of tattoo you want, it seems like that have an artist for every style and everyone Ive been tattooed by is incredibly professional. Its a super clean and well maintained business too.Im really stoked about my newest project with Coyote - they have the lightest hands ever so the tattoos are painless 😎. Let me start by saying that my tattoo artist Coyote is amazing!!!!!! And honestly I don’t think I could ever get a tattoo from any other artist. I absolutely love my tattoo!!!!!! And I am so very proud to have such a work of art on my body! This tattoo is exactly what I wanted, and unlike any other piece I have seen because she took my idea that I drew years ago and Transformed it into something I never imagined as well as helped me give a gift to my youngest son who’s initials are hidden in the design and that is an important aspect to me— uniqueness and family ! Every time I look at my newest tattoo I can’t help but light up with happiness and gratitude!!! Thank you so much Coyote!!!!! You are amazing!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

I LOVE this studio!! First, its a custom shop, so there is going to be a wait to get in. Totally normal. Second, these artists have earned their stripes and are of a caliber that they get to pick the projects they want to work on. I think thats every artists dream. I did a lot of research on artists beforehand and have worked with other artists over the years. I am THRILLED that I get to work with Whitney and have her art on my body!! My sleeve isnt even done, and I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Plus, the studio is stunning, and everyone there has been so kind and welcoming. I hope to work with Whitney and this crew on more tattoo projects to come!

Ive been having work done by both Joe and Chentelle here for going on 3 years now, and I cant sing their praises enough. The studio itself is gorgeous, but more importantly the artists here are some of the best Ive come across in trying to find high-caliber work across multiple states. I get oh my god, that tattoo is gorgeous! comments from random strangers constantly. Its kind of a hidden gem that I am so fortunate to have so close to me. In addition to being insanely talented, Ive had nothing but positive social experiences with my artists as well, awkward as I know I can be. I hope to finish up all my tattoo goals here ❤️❤️❤️

If I could give this shop more than 5 I would. Everyone that works here is legit legendary with theyre art style. AMAZING TATTOERS. Especially Coyote. Ive gotten my favorite pieces on my body from her. The style she has is like no other. You HAVE to go and check out the shop at least. The ambiance, the vibe, the talent.. unmatched.

I had a great experience at Paradox Tattoo. Everyone is really nice. Great vibe to the shop. Clean and well run.I had Whitney do a very large leg piece. I followed Whitney for about 8 years so getting a tattoo from her was a really big deal for me. Bucket list item.Her work was as expected. IMHO, everything about her work is best of the best. Its an epic piece for sure.As a human, Whitney is super chill. Easy to talk to. I felt very at ease with her from the start.I would not say Whitney is cheap but thats to be expected. Shes won countless awards. Youre getting what you pay for. She does work fast, and she is old school (she charges for the time she spends actually tattooing). No design fees. Although Im OK with tattoo artists that charge a small design fee, I would rather work with an artist that does it the old school way and builds that cost into their hourly rate. In honor of high-quality artists that maintain the old school traditions I always tip 20%. If you are not tipping your artist, you should be. Consider a smaller piece and do your best to tip.Once my tattoo heals and Whitney is happy with it, well take pictures and Ill update my review with a photo.Thanks for the tattoo Whitney. My wife and or I will get on your books again soon.

This was a horrible experience. He told me after he started the tattoo that the colors he was using he had never used before and he DIDNT know how long the colors would hold up. He also then told me he hasnt really worked on colors very much but he had been practicing the past few months. Why didnt he tell me that before he started.He mentioned the cheap bed that he purchased at Amazon.Another artist came over and was showing him pictures of her kids, she was in there for over 30 minutes, I guess to burn up time.He then proceeded to show me and my daughter screen shots of the time of day on his phone, he wanted to show that every time he looked at the time it would always be in sequence. After he did what he did to my arm he let me know he was going to be taking time off because his girlfriend was due with their baby. Wouldve been nice if he told me that before starting the tattoo.Then 2 days before my tatoo was to be completed the receptionist called and pushed it out another month and a half due to personal reasons. Ive had 2 other tattoist look at my tattoo and they both said it was a terrible tattoo.II wouldnt recommend this tattoo shop at all. I called to complain to owner of shop but they just had Matt call me. He told me he wouldnt issue a refund for my deposit.Tracy

Whitney has done several tattoos on me over the past couple years, and is currently working on my sleeve. She is beyond an amazing artist. I can say enough great things about her and the studio. Always working hard to get you in, always in a great mood, and a kind person. With outstanding skills. I cannot recommend her or the shop enough.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and extraordinary work. Derrick is such a talented guy. I’d been searching for someone who has a anime portfolio and Derrick is definitely that guy. I’ve gotten two tattoos from him he’s always so nice and amazing!

My first tattoo session was with Whitney. It was a cover up work on my right shoulder blade. I was so happy with that work that I wanted her to do my whole back. Right now she is working on Ganesha back piece on me. Everyone in that shop is very friendly including the receptionist, particularly Jordan who’s helped me with my appointments. YES, when you’re in there you will feel that family vibe. The energy in the shop is always positive and always welcoming. I feel very lucky to have Whitney working on my back. She’s been very patient and understanding. She makes me feel every session is totally worth it every time. I can’t wait to post a pic of my back piece when it’s complete. Morgin is awesome, she has a very good and positive vibe.

I’ve got a full leg sleeve and a neck tattoo from Whitney. She is extremely talented and provides beautiful artwork!! I feel so lucky I get to carry her art forever! Super chill, fun to chat with and all around a positive vibe. It’s not just about quality tattoos, it’s also the full experience. Whitney & every single person at this shop are friendly, down to earth and make you feel welcome. I’ve also come for morale support with my spouse who is getting his back tattooed, and it’s like hanging out with good friends. You can feel the family vibe here. Have seriously had some of the funnest chats with Whitney & Morgin! I often leave realizing how much I smile and laugh when I’m here. A great shop, with talented artists who are real people!

I have had plans for a full sleeve for ten years and was going to be incredibly selective of who I wanted as my artist. I scrolled through hundreds of artists’ portfolios and applied their techniques in my brain over and over. Whitney (the owner) has not only taken my dream and executed it, but she has FAR surpassed my imagination with where we could take my art. Everywhere I go, I get complements. A lot of artists recognize her work and give incredible accolades. Whitney and everyone at Paradox are down to earth and super chill. When you sit in a chair with someone working on you for 35+ hours, it’s CRUCIAL to be able to vibe with your artist. I wouldn’t change a thing and I’m truly blown away by how beautiful this piece has turned out! Go to Paradox! You won’t regret it.

This place is overflowing with talented artists each with a unique style and speciality in a clean, creative, and unique atmosphere! Always a blessing to be tattooed here and I leave inspired! Friendly staff are always there to help guide you through your process! The wait for some of the artists is a while but they are worth it for those specialty projects you will have forever! There is 9 artists so some of them have way more available time so don’t be afraid to see who’s available! This isn’t really a walk in shop, and in my experience.. being heavily tattooed.. you get more quality from someone who’s thought about your piece longer. In person consultations rock, you can get a feel for your artists and even see if they are the person for you before committing to that lifetime exchange and spending all that time together! Prices vary depending on artists, everyone has a different rate that pairs with their experience and styles. All in all, I love this place. I love the people here. I love the environment and energy, you are always in for a good laugh and most importantly.. a great tattoo experience.

I have been collecting tattoos for over ten years now, and have stepped foot in many tattoo shops. Paradox Tattoo has been bar none, the best shop I have been to. They create an environment that people are drawn to and a professional standard that surpasses other shops in the area. I have been getting tattooed by the owner, Whitney, since 2017 and she has become my go to artist. She has done my full back, side, and we are currently working on my sleeve. I encourage anyone seeking high quality, custom work to check out the shop and their artists, you won’t be disappointed.

Man, I love this place. Whitney is an amazing artist of course, but everyone at the shop is great. And fun. And nice. Very cool setup as well, I actually nodded off during the long session. It’s worth the trip every time I go, and the only thing I don’t like is I’m going to run out of “canvas” one day.

Last year I was looking for someone to cover up a 17yo tattoo I got on my 18th birthday. I sent over a request via email and the front desk suggested Chentelle. Paradox was the first (and only) place I contacted and with just a quick glance at Chentelle’s work on Instagram, I was sold! She is so talented. She has since done 2 pieces for me and has exceeded my expectations both times. I can’t wait to come back and add more beautiful art.

Id give them 10 stars if I could. Every artist in this shop is top-notch on a world scale of tattoo artistry.

Whitney and Paradox tattoo gave me the most custom and precious gift I have ever purchased for myself. There are many people who can tattoo in the PNW, but Whitney and her staff at Paradox are true artists and creators that just happen to use tattoo ink as their medium and skin for their canvas. There is a very distinct difference and it shows in the pieces like the one I am privileged enough to wear. Paradox has become a place very dear to me and will always feel like a sanctuary for my soul.

I have been tattooed by most of the artists in this shop. They are all super friendly and overall great people, and great artists. Chentelle (and I) won best sleeve at the 2023 Seattle tattoo expo. Great shop. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Whitney for years, she is amazing and has a wonderful staff as well. She really created a great space to get tattooed in, unique, clean, safe and full of good energy. Very different than the traditional tattoo shops, will continue to come here as long as I can.

Grymm is great!! My best friend and I decided to get tattoos together. We gave her what we were wanting and she came up with something even more amazing than we even imagined. She was patient with us when we were having her add more and she did it all with a smile. I will and already have recommended her and Paradox to a couple friends and family. Whitney is absolutely AMAZING. she has been working on my sleeve for over a year now and I get at least 10 compliments a day on it either at work or out in public. Not only is she an amazing artist but all of her staff are amazing too. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Whitney and Morgan also make BEAUTIFUL jewelry. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Matt was the absolute best. It was my first tattoo and he did a beautiful job I love it. He made the expense 10 more comfortable and made me feel extremely safe getting tattooed 💕💕💕

I’ve gotten work done by Derrick, Joe, and Chentelle. Derrick tattooed one of my favorite libra of poetry across both calves six years ago and I’m still so in love with it. Joe tattooed a scene from my favorite book inside a diamond frame above my elbow. And Chentelle did my largest piece yet, a pair of cosmic girls on my left arm complete with stunning watercolor, awesome spacey detail, and vibrant colors. I love this shop, the people are great, the shop itself is gorgeous, and everyone who works here is phenomenal in terms of artistry and personality. Definitely the best tattoo shop in the area, and in my personal opinion the state. Can’t recommend them enough!

I saw Michaela for a lip blushing service and she was extremely thorough and provided an amazing service. She matched the color I wanted perfectly and listened to all my concerns and questions. She gave me an aftercare kit and instructions on the healing process which made it much less stressful. They’re healing well so far and I definitely will be coming back for touch up and more permanent makeup services. Highly recommend!

Wonderful! First of all the shop is so cozy! Vibes are immaculate. 👌✨ I went for Lip blushing with Michaela and she did such a great job! Very precise in her work and continually checked up on me to make sure I was comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

I went here recently to see @zen_ink_artistry (IG) for lip blushing. Let me start off my saying she was sooo knowledgeable and helpfull with walking me through and teaching each part of the process I would be receiving. She kept me super comfortable with tons of numbing cream and always asking me how I was doing.not only does she provide amazing customer service but also does a fantastic job! I love my new tinted lips, it was just what I was needing. Healing was very fast for me, all flaking was done within 3 days and she even sent me home with a goodie bag of cleanser and moisturizer for the healing process which was super thoughtful! I’ll definitely be coming back for a touch up❤️

I was tattooed here a couple years ago! I had my ribs done by Em. She was super friendly, price was great, and did such a wonderful job. I recommened her to my sister and she recieved a wonderful back piece as well. Shes very thoughtful and detailed with her work. Quality service and a tattoo that lasts.!

The artists portfolios are completely full of jaw-droppingly beautiful art! Theyre all super friendly, know exactly how to ease any nerves you might have, are honest and upfront with you about your ink choices, and dont judge you for your selection no matter what it is. Their prices are fantastic as well! Im glad we finally found a place in town to go, that we can trust.

I went to Ink city first but after being told no on a tattoo that they wouldnt recommend it because I wanted it on my chest....it is my body right? I thought the whole point in tattoos was a way to express yourself? We found Paradox Tattoo Gallery and everyone has a great personality Ive been here a couple times for piercings and for a tattoo. I would definitely recommend them. With a shop filled with 8 artists youll be able to create whatever your heart desires. The only thing I would change is the music lol I like my ROCK!!!!

Ive been going to Eric Nash for a year now, working on a chest/side piece that has gone beyond my expectations. Going to a new tattoo artist can be a gamble but Im more than pleased with his level of attention to detail, clean lines, coloring and shading.

I have little experience with tattoos, other than the few small ones I picked up over the years. I have been planning on a 3/4 sleeve for a while. I had a basic idea and a couple pictures of what I wanted to start with. Within a minute of walking in I was talking with Derrick Burke who helped me narrow down what it actually was I was looking for, and who might be the right artist for the job. Within 10 minutes Whitney Havok had taken my rough idea and turned it into something so much better than I could have imagined on my own. So far this has been a great experience and although Ill have a bit of a wait ahead of me. I am looking forward to getting started on the project and Im confident that it will be everything Id hoped for and more.

My friend and I went into their shop today and got small, minimal zodiac symbols on our fingers. They neglected to tell us they charge a minimum fee of ONE HUNDRED dollars. Once we had gone in, they didn’t mention the pricing or fees at all, up until both of us already had the tattoos on our fingers and told us it would be $220 for both tattoos, which both took approximately 3-5 minutes to do. They scam you out of your money, please avoid this place.Edit add-on in response:I have researched plenty of tattoo places, but thank you for assuming I haven’t! I have 3 other tattoos and each place I’ve went to has explained pricing thoroughly and clearly before getting anything put onto my body and did not wait until after I had it to do so. Along with this, no other shop I have been to has ever informed me of a minimum, let alone a minimum of $100 so outrageous pricing was never an issue. Explain your pricing better to customers. Also, it is within my rights to leave reviews on your shop, but thank you! Especially considering you clearly lack customer service skills as well, since you feel the need to respond rudely to each negative review you get on here, thanks!

Was disappointed with the lack of transparency from the front desk. After an unexpected circumstance of having to cancel my appointment, they told me it was early enough notice and to come by to pick up my deposit. When I got there, the girl I spoke to on the phone said that she never said that and the deposit was gone. Did not offer any kind of resolution other than to come back at another time and give another deposit. No thanks. Great artists, just wish the business side of the shop was more professional.

Such a great experience! Em did a tattoo for me in honor of a baby I lost through a miscarriage. The image she came up with was so much better then the reference I had provided. Will definitely be back!

I was able to go in for a consult and quickly meet with the artist of my choosing, Chantelle. She was nice and polite though it was a very short visit. I put down a deposit and had scheduled for the date with in 2 months. The day of was great. She went over what I wanted and the image on paper was beautiful. She has a good touch, it does hurt obviously but I didnt feel like she was digging into me and did shorter strokes. She took a break when I needed it and, towards the end noticed that I was having a harder time, she applied some lidocaine spray. The outcome is just gorgeous!! I am so happy with it. The only thing is I did find it odd that we never did a consult of the imagine before the day of tattooing. This was my first so maybe I just dont know how it works but I thought thats what you did. Still love it all the same.

Chentelle does amazing work, consistently good and quick. Ive had 3 pieces now by her and I love them all, as does everyone who sees my tattoos

Came out here from minnesota to have Em do a large piece for me, turned out beyond amazing like always shes just a great wonder person and absolutely amazing artist. Seen whitney and chentelles work also you cant go wrong coming here they all do great work. Shop is beautifully designed and just had a wonderful time over the two days i was there, loved coming here and cant wait to be back the girls were all so friendly and nice.

I got a piece here by Whitney about 3 years ago and I still get compliments on it almost daily. I’ve been itching to come back in ever since. Amazing work and artists make you feel comfortable the entire experience.

First time in here and only for a piercing, but its great! They were very hygienic and screened for any symptoms of covid.Bryttini was super knowledgeable and the piercing was quick and painless!

Kept beating around the bush when trying to schedule an appointment. We emailed back and forth about 5 times over the course of less than two weeks and bryttini just kept changing the dates on when whitney was available. Just flat out be honest and stop wasting peoples time.
