Worked with the artist Miles who was very helpful in all my design ideas. He was very accommodating made sure we got what i wanted to capture in the tattoo. Great shop, great staff and a great experience. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back in the future for more work.

Alethea is INCREDIBLE! so patient and kind. her experience with almost 30 years of being a tattoo artist means she knows what she’s doing inside and out. i will absolutely go to her for any other tattoos i plan to get.

Got my third hole on my ears pierced a year or two ago. They came out very even and healed well (usually my ears don’t take piercings well at all). The piercer was very very kind and professional. They were very sweet when informing me that I shouldn’t get my industrial done because of the mask mandates that were going on. Good pricing and during the Covid mandates they handled their shop and my appointment very well. Im going to go back soon to get my nose pierced. I can’t speak on their tattoos but their piercing people/process was very easy and dealt with professionally. I felt comfortable with the piercer.

I had my septum pierced here by Kevin. I walked in nervous because this isnt my usual studio but after my experience it will be! As soon as I walked in I was put at ease, Kevin was very nice and immediately started joking around with me and made it an overall pleasurable experience! My piercing came out great and I was given a card to call if I had ANY questions. Overall a very good, professional, but fun experience I highly recommend!!

My tattoo artist was amazing. However, I wanted a color tattoo touched up, and when I called the shop several times to schedule an appointment with her, no return calls. I wanted to add color to my tattoo that I had done with her on Feb 5th, 22. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO NOT CALL CLIENT AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS. VERY RUDE!!!! I plan to go to another tattoo studio to get the desired results I am seeking. Sorry for being an unsatisfied client.

Went here for my lip piercing and Kevin the piercer was genuinely such an amazing guy who talked me through the whole process, answered any questions and was extremely quick doing the piercing itself which I appreciated immensely!!! Will be only going here from now on!!

Great experience here! Got my cartilage pierced last year and cane again to get my nose pierced. Kevin is very friendly and made my experience painless and easy. Will definitely come back and suggest this place to my friends

DO NOT come here for piercings. I booked an appointment for my daughter to have her ears pierced as the one and only Christmas present. I researched the best place on the shoreline but am extremely disappointed and shocked! When my daughter arrived they claimed to not have an appointment but said they could take her. She stated clearly that the only caveat is she wanted them even. She came out in tears with uneven piercing, she subsequently went back to have him take the earnings out and he said he could not do that??? I called to talk it out with him and he was RUDE and dismissive!!! I’m not a person who expects perfection and I’m very flexible but this was such a horrible experience!!! Inexcusable!

Ive gotten a nose piercing as well as a double forward helix piercing here. Both were great experiences. Piercer was nice and everything was done sterile and safely. The piercer was straightforward and I left knowing everything I needed to about my new piercings. I would definitely recommend and I will continue going here for my piercings.

I recently was tattooed by Alethea, who was friendly, nice and who did an amazing tattoo. I havent gotten one in over 15 years and she initially went slow and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The tattoo healed beautifully and I am obsessed with my new ink! I highly recommend Alethea!!

Great artists, fun environment. Absolutely love Alethea and the work she does. Kevin is hands down the best when it comes to piercings as well. Wont go anywhere but Kevin. I highly recommend Transcend.

Incredible experience! This was my first tattoo, and Meg helped me to feel so comfortable. She was so easy to talk to and totally understood my vision for the tattoo. Three and a half hours later, im left with an amazing piece of artwork that i am so proud to have on my body.

Amazing artists! Colin H. did my tattoos and a relatives. He definitely works with you to give you what you want and will explain what would be in your best interest.Hes the guy who would say, I can do X if you want, but I recommend Z. Clean facilities, private rooms, proper needle disposal, super relaxed and comfortable. Colins serious about keeping his workspace clean and preventing contamination of any sort. I have not received any service from the other artists there but they are kind and helpful, based upon my brief interactions.

Tl;dr got tattooed here, developed a bad infection despite following all the aftercare to the letter.I went to Meghan for a tattoo on a recommendation from a coworker. The day-of experience was positive, and I was happy with my tattoo. However, within days - despite following aftercare instructions to the letter - my tattoo became infected and I developed cellulitis. I texted Meghan, who told me that she didnt see anything to be concerned about. Do not go here: they dont care about your health, just your money.

This place was awesome. Kevin pierced my nose for me. He was amazing I didnt even feel it. I will be going back in a few weeks for a tattoo next. The artwork on the walls are amazing.

Did a walk in and Colin did a great job and was personable as well as got my cousins nose pierced. Tyler Nelson obviously is being a diva and should chill the f out. 10/10 would tat again

Tattoo artist Anthony Plaza did a led-zeppelin swan song piece on my shoulder and it came out amazing!!! It is the best, most realistic swansong tattoo that I have ever seen. Anthony is a purely talented tattoo artist! Transcend tattoo studio doesnt have one artist who is not awesome!

Went here to get my belly pierced and it was quick and didn’t hurt at all, done by kevin!

Wouldnt say it was my worst experience but not worth the time. Felt as though the staff didnt want to do their jobs, when thats what Im paying them to do! Found primordial ink, also in Branford, not far from this shop and fell in love right away. Would recommend checking them out first!

Alethea is amazing! Very thorough and you can tell she loves her job. Studio was very clean and sterile. Thank you for everything!!

Editing this review: I went in to get my nose stud changed and they downsized me without me knowing, so when I changed to a ring a couple months later I had to stretch it a bit. not a huge deal but kind of a lazy mistake

Went for a piercing. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time and it was over before I knew it. Love Transcend for my tattoos andmy piercings.

Megan is a great tattoo artistThe only thing that I didnt like was that I was charged $100 for the time it took her to draw up my art work
