This will be the only place I go or bring my children from now on. My oldest had an amazing experience getting their ears pierced and my spouse got their septum done too. All healed beautifully. Perfection! Thank you thank you!

Came in with a piercing issue for my anti-tragus from another shop and Ally went above and beyond to help me out with properly fitting jewelry. They use high quality titanium with internal threading. Worth traveling to from WMass or NH.

I am late in saying how impressive the service is, as well as the quality of products, and prices even! . I have been in probably more than a dozen times dreaming of a skateboard and Liam and Sander have had patience with my questions as well as educating me on so much, everytime despite me never pulling the trigger! Well, until the other day, anyway it was great. A couple days ago…. I came in with a deck I custom built at Hatchspace, and the owner Mickey was the one who helped on the final choices— and its great!Mickey offered to put it all together even.Not so long ago I have gotten an excellent referral for a piercing they didn’t do there—he was piercer of the year for three years in Massachusetts! Their sale bin of clothes, I just found a “independent” sweatshirt for half price too, to go with the skateboard’s pedigree.And really, people is why I shop locally, but the prices, are almost identical to internet where you get not a bit of what they do best. They are top notch. Every single one of them!

I’ve gotten my most recent piercings from The Void.The setup is extremely sanitary and clean, they give a thorough explanation of their jewelry warranty and aftercare (I appreciate the 4 week follow up appointment).All of the staff I’ve encountered have been nothing but professional and courteous.I will continue to be a frequent customer!

Went to the void to buy my first board the worker there was super cool and super helpful telling me anything I needed to know about the process and prices as well as talking to me about the different types of hardware they sold and what would look better and what would work better as well as telling me about how the hardware could change depending on the type of skating I would be doing all in all very happy and all the best to D

My piercings are fine, but I didn’t have a great experience ordering jewelry through the void. They were very difficult to communicate with, the shop owner would ignore my Instagram messages while being active daily and then say she “couldn’t find my Instagram”, and they had my money for quite a long time before I received my jewelry. I put a deposit down on a very expensive piece of jewelry for my friend in November and she said “it should definitely be here by Christmas!” But I didn’t get it until LATE MARCH. I also came in to ask about a piercing bump that kept coming back for MONTHS, and Alli told me it was “probably just a zit”, I had to see my doctor to get actual advice on how to treat it. Throughout all of this I just felt like they hated dealing with me, even though I loved the shop and was always kind to them and happy to be there, and I have spent upwards of $1,000 there.It seems like they keep a clean and professional piercing environment and did replace one of my pieces of jewelry for free (when it fell out the day after they pierced me with it, I’m guessing it wasn’t put in properly) maybe just be nicer to your customers?

I had passed through Brattleboro for my 21st birthday trip. Our house was in Newfane and this was pretty close by considering what there is in Vermont. We found ourselves there 3/4 times during the trip. My friend got his nose pierced on the day of my birth (which our piercer was amazing, sassy, and hilarious) and the shop staff overall are chill and care for you to be there. The shop also sold some more sought after stuff in the skate culture as well, such as Hook-Ups, Supreme Blazers, and World Industries. The shop also had a great board selection, to which my friend got a sick Welcome board there. Great store, great staff, great selection. Truly gives back to the local skate community and skaters alike, not your mall shop.

I got my nose piercing here and i never had an irritation bump or any complications. I also came in with an infected belly piercing that was done by a different shop that pierced it with bad jewelry and they helped me heal it within 2 weeks. They are truly the best and i now only trust them now. I cant see myself going anywhere else.

I had a really negative experience with the void. When my bridge was first pierced here by Alli it was pierced crooked, when I brought this up to Alli, she stated it was because I had a mask on while piercing and because I had taken too long before getting it shortened which caused it to migrate. It was not straight relative to my eyebrows which were visible over the mask when if was first pierced (picture 2) and it was the same level of crookedness before I took it out (picture 1).Alli offered to re-pierce it for free using the jewelry I had taken out of my piercing. She did not sterilize the jewelry before re-piercing my bridge, putting me at a serious risk of infection. She pierced it straight this time.I have since gone to two APP certified piercers one at Luckys in Northhampton MA and one at Red Baron Ink in NYC and asked them to check my bridge anatomy. Both piercers told me that had I come to them initially asking to get my bridge done they would have turned me away because my anatomy is not suitable for a bridge piercing and I am at a higher risk of rejection (not because I had been pierced before but because of the anatomy of my nose).The aftercare advice I had been given by Alli (rinse with warm water 2x per day) was not appropriate aftercare for bridge piercings.After I brought up to her what other piercers had said to me about my bridge piercing she denied their claims (both of these piercers have extensive experience and work for reputable shops) and told me the crooked piercing was because of the claims stated in my first paragraph (both of which are false, if my piercing had migrated the migration would be visible and if it was crooked because I was wearing a mask it would be straight relative to parts of my face that are visible above the mask). I am disappointed that Alli refused to admit to messing up my bridge when she first pierced it, and that she neglected to inform me of the risks associated with a bridge piercing done on my anatomy, or was unaware that my anatomy was associated with those risks and performed a piercing she had limited knowledge of.I would be cautious with getting piercings done by piercers at the Void, if you do decide to get a piercing at the void, check that the aftercare that they recommend is appropriate using the Association of Professional Piercers website.Response to owners response-I also have all of our messages saved for this moment, which i will post because it disgusts me that you would lie about me harassing you and your employee.I find it strange that you expect your clients to double check your aftercare using the APPs website rather than providing them with safe aftercare instructions after you pierce them.I approved piercing marks that were not crooked, Alli pierced my bridge crooked and when I pointed it out post being pierced she told me it was because one side was swelling faster.Alli used the titanium barbell from my first bridge piercing for my second without sterilizing it. If they have a record of it being autoclaved I would be more then happy to see it and change my review. But they do not because it was not sterilized.The employee they are discussing is an ex-friend of my sisters who I have had one brief conversation with over text since she and my sister ended their friendship. The employee blocked me after I reached out to her post hearing she, Alli, and Allis other apprentice were talking about me to a client. Allis lack of professionalism is what led me to write this review.Alli, your attempt to misconstrue my character in response to my review describing my negative experience with you that has been confirmed by professionals with rigorous certifications as either a mistake or a lack of knowledge of anatomy on your part only further demonstrates your lack of professionalism.Attached are the photos of my bridge piercing, my conversation with Alli regarding my bridge piercing and my conversation with Allis employee who is alleging harassment.I left a review here and on facebook, thats not harassment.

I love coming here. Really cool spot. I’ve gotten my most recent piercings here and I have come with some of my friends, who all love it too and have had great experiences. The staff is knowledgeable, humorous, personable, great at communicating, and super sanitary/clean. I was going to get my navel pierced and the staff took great care in discussing importance of anatomy/why it wouldn’t work on me, rather than charging me for a piercing that would have inevitably ended up being unsafe for me. Though I was bummed, they were so helpful and made the experience a blast. I recommend this place to everyone. I have never had an issue with cleanliness/healing (they make sure to give detailed instructions). The shop inside is sick too, so check The Void In Brattleboro VT out. Awesome experience!! I got my nostril redone after it closed up from a couple years ago, and my boyfriend got his helix; both of us loved our experience here, my nostril piercing was legit next to painless, it was done in under 10 seconds, & I love the new placement of my piercing! My bf also had a wonderful experience. If you want a seamless, great piercing, highly recommend the Void!!

I’ve got all of my piercings here, Ali is wonderful so super gentle when she’s piercing you. Maddie is also absolutely lovely and again very gentle. Honestly a great vibe all around everyone is super friendly and the jewelry selection is top notch with implant grade titanium, 14&18k gold from APP certified companies. Definitely the best place to go in the tri-state area!!!

I’ve gotten both my septum and second lobe piercing done here. Both times, my piercers were extremely kind and helpful in picking out jewelry and made the experience very enjoyable. My most recent lobe piercing by Ally was super fun and barely hurt! Definitely a 10/10 experience and would recommend for both piercings and jewelry selection!

Went in to get an ear piercing, only to discover that the holes from when I was 8 were still open! They were super accommodating, switched me over to a taper, fitted me out with some awesome jewelry, and sent me on my way for a worthwhile price! Zach was super fun and talked me through everything he was doing. Altogether a really great time, highly recommend!

Let me just say I have been pierced many times, several times the piercings didn’t take well. This was a laid back environment and probably the easiest, best experience I’ve had at a piercing place. It was also the most expensive, but that was because of the jewelry I chose! They have a wide variety of jewelry options and they’re all SO cute and with lifetime warranty. Three of us ladies all got our helix pierced and we were done super quickly. Usually it hurts for awhile, but the pain went away really quickly with this one for all of us. Super happy with it!!

Super kind staff and very sanitary procedures. Maddie was happy to answer all my questions about the earlobe piercing. After feeling faint following my piercing, she brought me water and a cold compress and encouraged me to stay and lie down until I felt better. Happy with the result!

I got my belly button pierced there today! The place is so clean and all the staff is super nice. Very supportive every step of the way, open to questions and overall nice and welcoming people! Well priced too, I cant recommend it enough!

I got pierced here a little while ago with my partner. Our piercer was Zach and he was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I liked that we were given a card telling us the size of the jewelry so we’d know what to buy for any sort of jewelry change. This was the best experience getting a piercing that I’ve have ever had customer service wise! The only thing I would say to take note of is that you have to buy the jewelry here (not every studio does this) and I think the studio should be more forthcoming about how much the jewelry costs, because there were no pricetags on the earrings and it ended up costing more than I expected when factoring that in. If they put pricetags on the earrings there would be no confusion about the total cost. I am still giving five stars as this was still an excellent experience, but just something to keep in mind if you get a piercing here.

Everything about this shop is amazing. Sweetest shop owners youll ever meet and the best workers there ever too. Their clothes are fire and they have everything youll ever need for your smoking needs. Everything is so high quality too from their skate section to their jewelry, legit best shop on planet earth. Their pages keep you SUPER up to date too on deals, hours, what they have in stock, when theyre open, new arrivals, if they have to close on a holiday, all of that sorta thing. Legit think the void is my favorite place to go ever!!!

Got my nose pierced for the first time today at The Void and I cant recommend them enough! Booking was super easy and quick. They were very professional from the moment I walked in the door, explaining everything step by step. Even when I started to get light headed after the piercing they were so nice, offering me candy, soda, water, etc and letting me stay for as long as I needed. If you need a piercing done, go here!! Also they get bonus points for having a dog lol

Literally the best ever. I was pierced with hoops over a year ago at a shop in MA that just refused to heal and Zach helped me legitimately so much. We changed the hoops to flat back studs and they healed in DAYS. Tons of great advice, really nice people, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time ❤️ Will be going back for more next time I’m here! Thanks again!

Ive had my septum pierced here a while back by Alli and the experience was not only super clean and professional but I was in and out with zero discrepancies. Went back because the product and service there was beyond amazing. Got some really awesome vintage tees for a very reasonable price and the product is premium from the jewelry to the bearings for a skateboard. The Void is a absolute gem. Would recommend to anyone of my friends or family.

We got piercings for me, my partner, and our 8 yo for her birthday. I cant praise Zach enough. He was great with our daughter and his kindness and professionalism were amazing.They explained everything clearly and the actual piercing process was well-done. My partner was particular impressed and happy that they anodized their eyebrow ring to match their other piercings.

I got a helix piercing today with Ali and had a wonderful experience. Ali talked me through every step of the process and performed the procedure in a way that made it almost painless. I will definitely go back to her if I get any future piercings! The consent form also offered a diversity of pronouns and name preferences which was very welcoming!

I got my cheeks done here on saturday, you have to prepay for all jewelry for downsizes upfront, and jewelry is definitely on the expensive side, which i think is super smart because its high quality and ensures you will come in for your downsizes. She listened to all of my concerns, and when i messaged her yesterday needing an upsize for swelling she got me in almost immediately. By far the best piercing artist Ive been to so far, gives detailed descriptions of healing processes and her concerns on your specific healing process to make sure you have the easiest healing possible. I love her and her apprentice, i will be permanently going here for my piercing needs from now on. Id give more than 5 stars if i could

I got my septum pierced at The Void recently and had an AMAZING experience. It was my first piercing in about two decades, so I was a little nervous. They walked me through each step with ease, answered all of my questions and concerns, and helped me laugh and enjoy the process. I am also an advocate for covid-conscious practices, and they did not hesitate to mask up and bring the air purifier into the appointment room with us. I had a great experience and highly recommend! The Void is the one business that keeps me coming back to Brattleboro. This one stop shop is great, and always exciting. Every visit is never the same. They’re constantly rotating products and keeping things colorful. They also have this absolutely beautiful little pup named shorty and she always greets me with kisses. 20/10 I love this place and their staff!

One of my favorite places to stop by when im in brattleboro. everyone at the void is really friendly and helpful (the owner took the time to help my son find his first skateboard and explain things to him). the shop is clean, bright and organized. i know the owners really put a lot of love and hours into their shop.

Best piercing experience ever! 12 out of 10 recommend. I got a double helix with two diamond studs and they are my favorite piercings I’ve ever gotten. Start to finish my experience was great and now I’m three days out and they’re heeling so well.

I’ve been to the Void for four different piercings within the last year and each appointment was prompt. The online booking system makes creating an appointment very simple. Both piercers (Alli and Zach) are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. I would highly recommend getting your piercings done at the Void.

I stopped in here on a whim cause I needed to stop at a smoke shop on the way, and saw this pop up and was immediately curious based on the name. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon, so it was just one dude working there pricing and whatnot. He helped me out with what I needed to grab, and was super chill. Their selection was pretty rad with skate decks, smoke supplies, there was probably more but I only stayed by the entrance cause their smoke supplies were there.All in all, cool place with a skateboard punk kinda vibe, which Im all for.

The owner is super sweet, patient and kind and sells great quality products for a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and my experiences there are always fantastic. I’ve gotten two piercings there and both have been fast, sanitary and painless! Highly recommend to anyone :-)

Alli was my mentor in piercing in CT before she went on her way up to Vermont to leave the nest and start her own journey, and the Void has been nothing short of a success. Clean environment, high quality jewelry, beyond excellent customer service, great smoking items and plenty more. Alli is always smiling and ready to help. The void is by far the best piercing place within the range of two towns. all my piercings I have gotten have either been done by alli or zach, which who each are great pleasant people to work with! both are very through on not only the piercing process it’s self but the aftercare as well. if you are ever looking to get a piercing within bratt I definitely recommend the void!

Alli is such an amazing piercer! She made me feel so comfortable and safe when I came in for my piercings and another staff member even held my hand when I was nervous about my tongue piercing. I highly recommend coming here for any piercing needs!

I got my eyebrow pierced here and the experience was good at first except I soon learned I was misinformed. I was told to only rinse the piercing with water when I really should’ve been using salt water. Now my eye is infected and I had to get the piercing removed. Hopefully it will heal but don’t let them misinform you.

I try to be a regular visitor, as the vibe at The Void is very relaxed and friendly. Also very professional--the legal/licensing stuff is framed on the wall. People are helpful, dog is nice, artwork/posters are cool...Im not a fan of the window display, but thats why theres a door: open it and come inside to experience the 21st-Century!

I stopped in about a week or two ago and was looking to get some piercings done that I unfortunately was not able to get due to my anatomy.I was professional informed about all my choices and options at the time and am very happy for that knowledge!I just couldn’t leave without getting a piercing done. After all, it is what I drove up there for!So...... I decided to get this lovely industrial piercing done and was also informed on how to take care of it properly and to not do both at the same time... (I was definitely very thankful for that advice)!I will be up soon to do my other ear for sure!Not to mention, there bong collection is massive and the vibes of the store itself is amazing!Thank you for a wonderful experience in a judgement free zone!

First of all I got my nipples pierced here and Alli did amazing! She was extremely quick with the needle and helped me feel comfortable the whole time. So far they’ve healed super nicely and it’s been about 2 months! I also went back yesterday to buy a water pipe for my boyfriend, and was given the best customer service. They helped narrow down my options and informed me about all the possible add ons to keep the piece in tip top condition. I will 100% be returning to the void as long as it’s open!

Ali is AMAZING & extremely informative. She gave us step by step information as she was going thru the piercing process. She educated both my daughter & myself about the jewelry and keeping the piercing cleaned etc. Not to mention they have a lot of really cool merchandise! I highly recommend The Void. We will be back for sure!

Brattleboro VT is one of my favorite places to visit. To the point that for years I have wanted to move there. The Void and their owners and staff have only added to the credibility of the town and the exciting adventures that come with it. Always love browsing what they are offering in store and appreciate all the events they do for the community!

The place has a little bit of everything. If you cant find something in here to buy then the world is passing you by. And on a personal note, every single time I go in I hope Zachariah is working. Is so gentle and knowledgeable. He never gets annoyed at my myriad of questions. And he always steers me right where I intended to go. As solid as the business could hope for in an employee. Alli has owned the store for awhile now, and once I heard about the store, its the ONLY headship I go to now! She is always greeting people at the door and acknowledges everyone. Her and her fiance have done AMAZING with the store now and they have some pretty sweet deals. Theres just NO COMPARISON to other headshops!! I for one am proud of how well she has been doing! I love the void!

Alli is an incredible piercer- I had four piercings before her but after having her do three for me and repierce a septum ring that was in the wrong spot, I would never go anywhere else. She always has jewelry if the best quality (and is constantly getting new things!) and has a real eye for what would look good on someone. I highly recommend her- Ive taken friends and family to get piercings done with her, and Im always buying different things from her shop. I placed an order last night for a complete setup at The Void. Within ten minutes I received a phone call from Micky, one of the co-owners apologizing profusely for their actual stock not matching website stock bc of a glitch. This wasn’t a problem because Micky texted me on his personal cell so I could send him a list of what I needed to order. He then went through his inventory and provided visuals of what was available for what I needed. We chose this 8.5 Alien workshop deck with independent trucks, Bronson bearings, 53mm Bones Wheels, necessary hardware, and some grip tape. He also special ordered a few other things I needed that weren’t in stock. I was able to pick up my order today. Micky and Alli at The Void rocked on customer service. It’s the best I’ve ever had anywhere! If you live in the area or even if you don’t you’ve got to check out “The Void!” They are a real deal local shop going an extra hundred miles so to speak for every customer! You will be so happy you chose this place just like I am!!! As long as I am in New England this is my go to shop!

Purchased a Septum piercing for my sister as a Christmas gift. It was her first piercing and Ali was awesome. They have a variety of colors for the piercing jewlery and Ali was able to get it to match my sisters glasses perfectly.

Recently went there to catch footage for a music video, not only were they super chill about it, I bought a few things, the service and selection of thinga is superb and Im glad there is somewhere in Brattleboro that combines smoke culture with Skate culture and Urban culture. I got an earlobe pierced there by one of the owners and she charged me $115 for a fairly simple piercing that was quoted on their website at $15.Edit: The jewelry was a tiny half-moon stud. It was not worth the difference between $15 to $20 earlobe piercing and $115 I was charged.The price wasnt analyzed with me prior to charging.

Do not go here! I made an appointment at the beginning of the week, my appointment was confirmed, and every day I got confirmation texts confirming and reminding me of my appointment. I show up 10 minutes early for my appointment and the doors are locked, lights off, and no one in sight, when just an hour earlier I got another text reminding me of my appointment. I live 30+ minutes away so I drove all that way for nothing.
