I personally love Cutthroat Tattoo! Definitely a go to tattoo shop in my opinion. My entire family gets tattoos here. Such an amazing experience every time!Photos posted are mine and were all done by Allan.

By far the best experience Ive ever had. Mr Allen did a phenomenal job.... My tattoo came out perfect! I cried (happy tears) when I got home because I was kinda a wuss towards the end of the tattoo and didnt want to seem more of a wuss lol. It was a sentimental tattoo and meant a lot. Just got it today (9/7/22) and already getting SEVERAL compliments on it... His team is also very nice and friendly. Everyone made me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend Mr Allen and his team... I honestly couldnt be happier with my experience. Thank you Mr Allen for an amazing tattoo.. Thank you Cut Throat team for being amazing as well 😊

Absolutely love this shop! Allan and his team are phenomenal! They are all very professional and friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out, we were extremely pleased with the shop and tattoo artists. Between my husband and I, we have tattoos from 3 of the artist. We refer them to everyone anytime we hear/see that someone is looking for an tattoo artist!

Got my knuckles tattooed by Allan a few years back. Absolutely love them! Amazing work and all free handed! I get lots of compliments on them. He was very gentle, welcoming, and made great conversation. Loved how clean and sanitary the whole shop was! Great all around quality work!

Allan is an excellent artist! He takes his time, he’s very thorough, and he’s easy to work with. He has done my half sleeve, my back piece, script on my forearm, various small tattoos, and he pierced both of my tragus. The lines on my tattoos are super sharp and straight and the shading still looks great. I get asked regularly who did the work! He is a quality artist and cool person to get tattooed by!

Allan has been tattooing me for over 10 years. There is no one I would trust more. He is a true artist of his craft with outstanding professionalism to boot. The shop is always incredibly clean and the conversation is always great. I will recommend Cutthroat every time. 10/10.

I have been going to Allan since I was 18 he has done all my work, both arms are almost completely sleeved and plus have many more! I get stopped everyday all day long about how beautiful Allans work is! He has been voted number 1 in Acadiana for many years because it is definitely the number 1 shop in this area! I love going in and getting ink and hanging out with Allan he is such a great guy! I recommend him to everyone you will not be disappointed!

Allan has done several of my tattoos. He is very professional and does a very good job. I had him do one with my mothers own handwriting and he did an amazing job on it, it looks exactly like her handwriting. He is the best and I will be back for my future tattoos.

Allan is the man. He’s always been very polite and professional, and makes sure that you love what you see before working on you. His prices are great compared to a lot of people. He’s also very friendly and will tell stories and jokes to you while tattooing. All in all, Mr. Erwin is one of the best around.

I found Cutthroat Tattoo on FB when searching for a tattoo shop, I read the reviews and also searched through pics of Mr. Allen’s work! I decided that he would be the best for me to go to for my very first tattoo! When I arrive, he explained the procedure and showed me all of his sterilized instruments. Once he got my piece ready, he called me to the chair! I was a little nervous, but he assured me I’d be fine! He was so kind, and kept talking to make me less nervous! We were done quickly and I was in love with my new art! I’d recommend Mr. Allen to anyone! I’ll be back soon! Thank you for making my first tattoo a great experience!

I have 7 tattoos from either this shop or the owner (6 by the owner)I was recommended this artist, Allan Erwin by a relative and I have never been more satisfied. I trusted this man with my body and the most important tattoo I have. He worked tirelessly on the drawing and then on the 4 trips to the shop over a year. He took his time to make it perfect and it is. This is the cleanest shop I have ever been in. I recommend this shop to every person that asks about my tattoos.

I was told by so many people to go see Allan for my tattoo work!! When I went into Cutthroat Tattoo Shop and talked to Allan about doing some work on my back he took a deep breath and said let me look at this!It took several sessions(he is still not done) but I can happily say I am very pleased with my tattoo piece!I would recommend Allan Irwin or any artist at Cutthroat Tattoo shop to anyone! Cutthroat is by far the cleanest and most professional tattoo shop I’ve ever been into. The prices are reasonable and the art work is exceptional. Although he books up fast sometimes, his artistry is definitely worth the wait. 90% of my tattoos were done by Allan himself!

Got a tattoo from Allan and he did a great job. Love the tattoo I got a heart with my wife’s name in it. He passed on some knowledge of tattoos I didn’t get from a previous artist and his price was lower than other artists quotes and the tattoo is great quality. Would definitely recommend him to anyone

Went to Allen for my first tattoo and i can’t even begin to explain how amazing the experience and service was!! He did a BEAUTIFUL tattoo on me and we had an amazing conversation about it. I got 2 Koi Fish around a scar on my wrist. He knew what my scar was for and really understood how significant the tattoo was for me

I know the owner personally and he is a fine person. Very friendly and talented as well. I know two of the employees. One is my cousin and he has a great portfolio and has won awards at tattoo conventions. The other employee is a great artist as well and he is personable too. Ive gotten work from them and I am satisfied and would get more tattoos from them in the future.The atmosphere is pleasant with couches and magazines to keep you busy and you can have a friend come along to keep you company.

I walked in having never been in Cut Throat. The owner, Alan, was there and we discussed a very large coverup. His expertise helped guide me to a large Japanese style brightly colored dragon. Several sessions later he completed his design. I’m absolutely in love with his work and creativity. I have been back several times for additional work and he has nailed it each time. The personal touch that I received here is exactly what I was looking for. Alan will be my artist for as long as I’m still on this earth. The shop is clean with a very cool vibe. His artist are second to none. This tattoo shop is the best in Acadiana if not the state. I can’t recommend any higher.

I got a jelly fish tattoo from Allen a while ago. The tattoo process went great. He was professional and a joy to be tattooed by. The tattoo still looks great. No fading. Great lines. Crisp. I cant wait till Im able to make it back for another one!

Got a half sleeve tattoo on my right arm last year and absolutely love it and have gotten a lot of compliments on it! Allen is a wonderful artist and does amazing work! I highly recommend this shop for any and all tattoos and look forward to having another tattoo done there!

I reached out to Allen with Cut Throat to get a tattoo done for my daughter. He was amazing. It was her first tattoo so she was a little nervous. He made sure she was sure she wanted one and then he put her at ease with conversation. She is already asking for her next one so I guess Allen will be hearing from us in the near future.

My daughter and I got matching tats done by Allan. He did them exactly as we asked him to. He was very professional and his place of business was very clean. We LOVE our tats!!! They healed very well with out issues. We will definitely be back.

Their piercer India is amazing! She is very professional and kept her station very clean and sanitary. She has a great personality and answered all of my questions. The shop has a very fun, clean and professional atmosphere and we will definitely be going back for a tattoo as well. Highly recommend!

I have never personally gotten any ink from this local shop, but I have been with a great friend of mine who RAVES on this shop and I must say that absolutely everything produced here is magnificent. The art work that has been done here is probably the best in Lafayette that you could get, and for great prices! Looking into booking for myself, as should all of you!

I received my first nose piercing from Allan in 2019 on my 18th birthday and love my experience with him. QUICK AND EASY. Months later I came back for a small tattoo on my ankle because of their $25 deal for small tattoos on saturdays and was it an impulsive choice? yes. but what do you expect from an 18 year old?😂 Allan, also, gave me that tattoo and of course, my experience was great because he loved that thrill of a young teenager making those impulsive decisions. I would absolutely love to have him do another one.

Goes to the bathroom and doesn’t wash his hands before working on clients, and Alan also bragged about holding down a Rottweiler and tattooing his name on it. Keep it classy 👍

Clean, knowledgeable, friendly, laid back, fun and patient staff! Definitely recommend them! The artists were very professional yet awesome at being laid back and having fun with clients. Which I have major anixety and PTSD so this helped me feel calm, relaxed and able to ask every question I had and they answered it. They were also very good to my mother and daughter who came with me. So knowledgeable about tattoos and piercings including allergies related to them. You wont regret calling and making an appt!

I have yet to get a tattoo from cutthroat. All my friends rave about how good Allen is with the ink gun!My time is coming. He does some of the most amazing work. Color that never fades. Incredible.

Allen did my tattoo, a wrist and finger piece..the wrist piece wasnt intricate bt more than a simple tattoo, for that and my finger tattoo he only charged 80$ which is very fair, not to mention I have several other tattoos so I can tell his gun was set perfectly, a nice dark tattoo w no scaring and I barely felt a thing..highly recommend cutthroat and the owner Allen is awesome at his job..my tattoo says techno in the teeth btw

I’ve gotten tattoos from this place on several occasions. Every time I’ve stepped foot in this shop the artist were professional, clean, and helpful. I always came out loving the work they did on me.

He cared more about the next customer coming in then actually doing my tattoo. And when it finally healed up I could see how he did not care at all. I’m sure some of the artists are good but this guy does not care about your tattoos. Going to a person who cares for his craft to get them done again. He went so fast the ink didn’t even settle in my skin. Find a new job dude
