This was my sons surprise Birthday present and first tattoo!! Erica and Walter were great!! They made sure he was comfortable and walked him through the steps..Erica did an amazing job!! She was steady, and percise, and engaged with him when he got uncomfortable! We will be going back to finish it up!! Great team here, recommend for sure!! Very down to earth, patient and caring!! What a perfect birthday celebration with some great people!!

Amazinggggg experience!!! I went to get my second lobes done and I was super nervous. Shawna was my piercer and she was PERFECT. She was reassuring, gentle, quick, and all around the perfect piercer. I’m so happy with how they turned out, and will DEFINITELY be going back to get my third done by her.

This is the best place ever to get a tattoo or piercing. Make sure you and for Walter, hes the owner and artist. Hes the best around and his prices are in my opinion cheaper than any other. HES THE ONLY ONE I WILL LET TATTOO MY BODY. HES THE BEST IN ARKANSAS I SAY.He did all four of my tattoos.

Staff are friendly! The shop is clean, and filled with so much to look at its insane! I would recommend this place to anyone, somone already slung back, or somone looking for that first bit of art.I sent an image to Walter I liked. And in the 15 minutes it took for me to arrive, he had altered it a bit. Made it more realistic, and I loved it! I know many people that go here for ink. Now Im one of em. Comfortable. Professional. Affordable. Relaxing.

On August 28th a friend and I went to get piercings at Painted Elephant. I don’t remember the lady’s name that pierced us. It might’ve been Shanna? Anyway we walked in and signed up to get pierced and she brought us back to the room. I went first and she pierced a spot on my helix no issues (except I later found out from another piercer that it was messed up and wasn’t straight back at all). My friend went next and she wanted a septum. First thing I noticed is that the piercer didn’t feel and check her nose anatomy before piercing her septum. After she stuck the needle through her nose she took it out and walked over to the tray to grab the septum jewelry. She came back and inserted the jewelry into my friend’s septum. The jewelry wouldn’t go all the way through. So Shanna (?) sat there and tried to get the jewelry through her septum for probably 6-8 minutes while it was continuously bleeding. The piercer ended up having to grab someone else to come fix it and get it through. The whole process took too long and involved way more pain than it should’ve. They were all nice and apologized and even gave us free cleaner which was nice.On October 31st, I went with two of my friends to get piercings. I wanted another helix and my friend wanted a nose piercing. We got all signed up and I went first again. It was the same piercer as the time before so I was a little nervous. She got all set up and pierced my right middle helix area. She took the needle out and grabs the earring and said something like “oh, I should have pierced it from the back.” Then she sat and tried to get my piercing in/through for around 6 minutes. The pain wasn’t bad at first and I have a pretty high pain tolerance. After maybe 2 1/2 minutes my ear was throbbing and the pinching started hurting me so bad. I was turned and I don’t think she could my face but my friend could and tried to say a couple times it might be good to maybe stop. I was silently crying just waiting for it to be over. Eventually I couldn’t handling the pinching and asked her to stop. She was super sweet and apologized and cleaned my ear up super nice. I don’t know if either of the rough experiences we had were because of the piercer or just coincidence but we will most likely not be going back. Overall I would not recommend for piercings.

Painted elephant is the only place I ever want to get tattoos or piercings!! The staff is friendly and entirely patient. I was recommended by a friend and I was and have been blown away! I get so many compliments on my sleeve... I refer people every single time

This place is the bomb 🔥 Heather is an AMAZING piercer! Shes done both of my nose piercings and done such a good job with both. I will NEVER let anyone else near me with a needle. She explains the whole process and answers any questions you might have. My husband also got a tattoo here and said it was one of the best experiences hes had yet. I highly recommend this place!!! Im always impressed how clean it is and how great their customer service is. We plan on strictly coming here for all future piercings and tattoos

I went in the shop to ask about getting my septum pierced, and I will definitely not do that here. When we walked into the shop Walter, I believe, was working on a piece on his tablet and did not stop the entire time we were in there. He also didnt know his own prices for piercings. He had an attitude every time I asked a question and pretty much mansplained every answer. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

Heather took care of my fiancees septum piercing. She took care of all her concerns and helped with the anxiety ad well! Scheduled my tattoo with them next! Highly suggest

Went in tonight 12/6 nervous about getting my piercing lolOne guy was making jokes an talking too the 3people in there it was really nice place; alot better then i expected and hella more professional; compared tothe previous place i tryd to go to in conwayNeedless to say after heather was done with me an explained how to take care of my piercing an answered my stupid guestions ; i was askin about ink prices just for fun but i know im goin back one dayVery pleased would recommend to other folks

I was a walk in & got an anti eyebrow piercing done by Walter. He was so kind & funny absolutely great service, quick too! I will definitely be going back.

A worker named Michael went off on a family member of mine after being misinformed by Michaels daughter twice on the phone before we went to this business for a body piercing. Michael cussed my niece up and down and bowed up on her before my niece and her daughter left. Then when I was still deciding if we wanted to deal with this man, he started going off on me about my niece. We left and hope no one ever goes here. The man was highly disrespectful and bowed up on two girls that each dont even weigh 100 lbs, when his daughter was in the wrong. Instead of acting respectfully, he yelled and berated a woman and her daughter, who were both scared. This man became unhinged for no reason and doesnt deserve your business.

I absolutely love this shop.I have gotten my piercings and tattoos done by Walter, Heather, and Mike.I have yet to be disappointed 10/10 would recommend.

Here is what happened to me and kids today:I called twice today to Painted Tattoo about getting my daughters nose pierced and was told the age (14yrs and up) and paper work needed, so we went there. My aunt and her daughter went as well.We get there fill out forms and once we get called back to have it done the gentleman told me she was to young had to be 16yrs old. All I said was “so I’ve wasted my time driving up here even tho I called twice before coming?” He told me the age had just changed. He apologized. I said ok I understand. That is all I said and I have 4 witnesses.As I’m leaving my aunt asked me what is wrong so I told her and as I’m saying this the other guy comes from the other side of the room and starts cussing and yelling at me then gets in my face! I told him to calm down and get away from me and my daughter and I was leaving. I wasn’t asked to leave.He was saying I’ve disrespected his daughter- the girl that answered the phone when I had called earlier today.He can think I disrespected her all he wants but still doesn’t excuse his behavior!I then left to go outside to get away from him.Few seconds later my aunt comes out and said the guy went off on her too! She never even said anything the entire time she was there! What the heck did she do to get yelled at??!!Shocking how someone thinks it’s ok to act so horribly! Terrible business!

Extremely friendly I have some tattoos that I am not proud of they are hate tattoos that my father has put on me And I ask them if they did cover ups like that and told them that I could only do 100 dollars sessions at a time and they were totally willing to do that for me that is a blessing To be able to remove these tattoos of hate At a price that I can afford in sessions is amazing to me
