Great attitudes from all employees, the lady upfront at the counter is super friendly and very helpful!!!The tattoo artists are amazing at what they do and actually take the time to explain everything to you and help you decide on your Design and Layout of your tattoo..I met the owner great guy, very respectful!Really makes you feel like family and your at homeLove the tattoo work I’ve gotten done here.I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

At first an old employee did my tattoo and it really wasn’t what I wanted but Jeff was willing to touch it and up fix it for me ! I love it now

Jeff was amazing! He is working on a cover up piece for me and I dont even have the words to describe how amazing my experience has been. The communication has been great, Jeff took all of my ideas and made them work, the studio is clean and welcoming, and the artistry is top notch. The finished tattoo is beyond my expectations, and I couldnt be happier. In just 2 sessions Jeff took something that I was embarrassed of and have spent the last 10+ years trying to hide, to creating something that makes me want to buy all new shirts because this tattoo is too beautiful to cover. Jeff and his studio have earned a lifelong customer and I will be referring him to anyone I meet that is needing a tattoo.

I came in with my sister to get our nose pierced. Jeff did it and when he did mine he stabbed the needle through SIX TIMES and my nose was gushing blood. he finally got it through and did it half way up my nose. My sisters fell out the next day and wouldnt go back in. i had to take the piercing out and once i took it out its not even whats supposed to go in a nose!!! it was so painful taking it out 3 months later. another piercing g shop re did it for me and it took 1 time and it was through and way better. i do not think jeff is a piercer i think hes a tattoo artist and was hungry for money so he agreed to do our. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place was so rude and awful to me. I came in about a year ago on a Saturday night and the place was completely dead (red flag). My mom and I wanted to get matching Zinnia flower tattoos, as she was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The tattoo artist was so annoyed with my request from the start. He then proceeded to mutter under his breath very rude things while he looked up pictures online. He then said this is the ugliest flower Ive ever seen and some other nasty things which were rude and uncalled for. I walked out in tears and he proceeded to talk bad about me to my own boyfriend. If he had just said he didnt want to do it I would have said thank you and left, there was no need to make fun of me and be nasty. And there wasnt a single customer in the building, youd think hed shut up and take my money. All that to say I found a fantastic artist at StayGold in Fultondale who was wonderful and easy to work with and make a dream come true for me and my sweet mom. Without unnecessary judgement

I went for a cover up and Jeff was amazing! Still needs a little touching up to completely cover but already planning to go back so he can finish this masterpiece! If your needing any tattoo work done he is your go to guy! You will not leave unless youre completely happy with your tattoo. And if for any reason you need a touch up they are very understanding and will go above and beyond to help you. My overall experience was GREAT! These people make you feel like youve known them your whole life! I look forward to doing business with them again!

TLDR: 0/10 would NOT recommend tattoo jungle for piercings.I got both of my helixes pierced at Tattoo Jungle on Dec 1st. The piercer gave me bactine to spray on the fresh piercings and gave me aftercare instructions that included washing the piercings with soap up to 3 times a day. Not knowing better at the time, I followed the instructions and the skin on my cartilage was soooo red and swollen and painful for the following 5-6 days that I thought I had infected piercings. Called another piercer and they told me the harsh chemicals in the recommended bactine spray and soap I was washing with were massively irritating my fresh piercings. I also called to ask for the gauge of my earrings and to confirm they were hypoallergenic (I am allergic to nickel) and was told I was pierced with 20g and never got 100% confirmation about the content of their earrings. Come to find out 16g is recommended for helixes. All together an awful experience but I am thankful after starting the right aftercare procedures that my ears are healing well and less painful.

The most clean and professional tattoo shop I have ever been in! The waiting lounge is a awesome atmosphere. Donovan was my artist and he honestly with me about my ideas and that it wouldn’t flow together correctly. He went over and beyond to find the right picture, then drew it up by hand to make sure it was completely original like I wanted! Will definitely be going back to see him and Jeff again! The staff is A1!

Every time I go up there it’s like they only have one person available and then there is other people that work there sitting down.. every time I go there they can’t provide me with a service.

Best shop in Alabama if not the world. Jeff is always friendly honest and upfront. The staff are always welcoming and the couches are always comfortable.

Jeff and his team did a fantastic job. First, I had to make adjustments to my appointment, no issue, handled perfectly.Then, when I arrived to have a conversion / cover-up done, they did a great job! Jeff made sure the design would fit what I wanted, the staff was fun and professional...and they cared about one thing, the quality of the work. Jeffs artwork, freehand, and the script they laid out for me blended right in. I am still shocked and amazed at what he pulled off for me. Friendly, knowledgeable & experienced staff. I went in with pictures of what I wanted, just 4 piercings. Jeff was very thorough from making sure I picked out the correct jewelry, the placement, to the coaching during the piercing, (which I think I stopped breathing in fear), he was very gentle with me, discussed what to expect during the healing process and went over the importance of cleaning and what to do if any of the areas become tender and sore. I left Tattoo Jungle within an hour with EIGHT piercings! I love all my piercings and catch myself looking in the mirror wanting more. Highly recommend. I’ll be seeing you again soon, Jeff. Thank you for my giving my ears some bling.

They are the best people you could meet!! It was my first tattoo and they were super supportive! They made me feel like I was family. Jeff walked me through everything and kept me so calm. They dont understand how much this means to me! Ill be back very soon for more. Side note: dont believe the reviews that are negative because they are so far from true. Jeff even took the time to teach me about a piercing I had recently got somewhere else days prior! I cant imagine going somewhere else now! Thank you so much Jeff!!

I must say, after almost 10 years ago of getting a tattoo here with Jeff I stopped back in to see if they could help me get a nose piercing out and help with installing a new one. They gladly stopped what they were doing to help fix the problem, and most of all they friendly about helping me get it done. Seriously, you can’t find a better place with such a familiar friendly loving atmosphere then tattoo jungle show them some love, they will definitely show it back.

Had my lobe pierced about a year ago and just got a cartilage one a week ago and Im absolutely in love with both and have had no problems with any of them. Jeff did my lobe and was very pleasant to talk to even at 9:30 at night. The lady that did my cartilage was so sweet and so was her mom who came to visit. Ill definitely be going back in the future

Tattoo Jungle is extremely professional, and clean! I just recently got my first piercing with them and when I had issues with it they promptly fixed it. I will go to Tattoo Jungle for all my tattoo and piercing needs! I was extremely impressed and will let everyone I know know that thats where to go!

I went to get my 15 year old daughters nose pierced. Jeff did an amazing job of piercing her nose and she loves it. Im sure well be back in the future.

Waited on Jeff for almost an hour before he showed up... he had problems with a rental car , he texted me a couple times giving me updates and when he showed up he apologized and got to work immediately sizing up my tattoo and gave me a discounted estimate because I had to wait so long. That’s what I call owning up to it!! He went to work on my tattoo and was incredibly accurate and I could not have been more pleased with his professionalism and artistry! :) I can’t wait to come back for another in the future. My daughter who is 15 got her nose pierced there back in December for her Christmas present. She loves it so much! The people that work there are so friendly, and helpful and were so informative on how to take care of the piercing. We plan on going back to get another piercing very soon and she wanting to get tattoo.

They werent very busy and I got service really quickly and their prices are reasonable unlike another place I used for piercings. He did a great job and he even let me videotape it for my YouTube channel because I have cancer. Ive got a tattoo that needs to be touched up and 6 months after Im in remission I can get ink again and I will be taking a trip from Hoover down to Calera

Have known and worked with and for Jeff for many years. The procedures that were learned by me there in 2000 are still sterile practices today. Anyone who has worked there can go back and see the same sterile practices used when they were and can tell what is sterile and when it was sterilized and by who. Great place.

Jeff did amazing on my tattoo. It was my first tattoo and I was a little nervous but it went great. Very enjoyable experience. I Will definitely be getting more work done soon

My Husband and I had a really good experience at Tattoo Jungle we both got Tattoos and Donovan is amazing. He does awesome work. We will for sure be getting more Tattoos done by him.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I went into there in February to get my noise pierced. The first time it stayed in for almost 2 weeks and came out. That same day I went there to get it put back in the lady told me she had to re-pierce it. She was extremely rough. Now today I go there because the diamond came out of the piercing. The same lady who did it the second time takes the old piercing out and then she states she’s going to have to pierce it again. How did it close in the matter of 2 seconds if that. I am convinced that the lady had no clue as to what she was doing. It was a waste of money. I immediately got irritated. I would not recommend this place to a dog.

I got a navel piercing and it was placed above the navel. On top of that a lot of skin was taken and used while the bar length was too short. The piercing will not properly heal and is constantly hurting me due to the placement. It’s been two months now. I called time and time again to get some help and was told to text a picture to a piercer and got ignored again. I definitely don’t recommend this shop to get piercings. I’ve had many before and never once had them so improperly placed.

Was told price over phone for piercing, then in salon I was asked if I was told a price, I told guy what I was quoted, charged for piercing (which supposedly included jewelry), I tipped cash because cc slip didnt have a place to leave tip, but my the actual charge that cleared my bank was $10 more than what I signed for (which was piercing & a ring) He watched me throw away the receipt..... So when I called he said well unless you have the receipt you cant prove it. Thats great customer service.

Very busy shop and it took a couple of tries coordinating my schedule with theirs to get worked on but well worth it. The owner ran behind but still stayed after hours (until after 2am) to finish me up. Shop is immaculately clean and artists are friendly and talented. Thanks, Jeff!

I provided Jeff a picture of the tattoo I wanted and was clear I didn’t want a cartoon looking tat. It turned out absolutely horrible when he finished. His shading looked like ghost and claws around a flower - HORRIBLE! The lady who did my coverup said he didn’t even use the photo i provided - that or he was blind. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! I would not suggest this place to my worst enemy!

Katie is so sweet and very helpful! My daughter and I just had her pierce our nose and she was the best.. She was very patient talking to us and made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend her.

Jeff was great! Came in on a Sunday to pierce my teenagers noses. He was super helpful with questions I had about future work for myself. Shop is huge, comfy and super cool.

Ear started to hurt, so I had to go to another shop since they were not open till Tuesday. The lady told me they had pierced it way too far back that it would never heal that way and that it surely would have landed me in the emergency room. She removed it and now if I wanted to have it redone, its going to cost me even more money when I shouldnt have to. It should have been done right the first time. Im disappointed.

Me and a friend came in the shop for a small tattoo, tattoo artist came off completely passive aggressive towards us. Not friendly people besides Jeff. Felt very disrespected when we left. 0/5 stars

Behind the parlors front desk, it stated that refunds for deposits will be granted for those that give a week in advance notice. Today is the 6th of October 2020 and my appointment was set for the 14th of October 2020. The artist stated that he has never given a refund in over 30yrs of tatting. I left a deposit of $50. The artist then stated that if I wanted to keep my appointment itll be good for however long. I CANT TRUST THAT and would not trust someone like this to tattoo me.

The staff was really nice and joked around with me. I was walked through the whole process of my septum piercing and she even ordered a industrial bar for my ear afterwards. The piercing did hurt but definitely not as bad as an industrial

Very clean, great work, good prices, very professional...I have a chest plate covered up about a year ago and unless u knew what was there before you wouldnt ever think it was a cover up. I have been to many different tattoo shops in many different places, and Tattoo Jungle is deffinitly a place I would recommend...Keep up the great work...

I got my belly button pierced here in May of 2017. I followed all the guidelines of taking care of the pericing. Long story short it’s now March of 2018 and my pericing is not healed and has been “nasty looking” since I got it. I do not recommend going here to get a piercing.

The artist Jeff is amazing very friendly and professional. I will not go any where else to get tattooed. Every tattoo I have gotten has been amazing!!!

Got previous tattoo fixed. Final result was worse than original. Tattoo artist blamed me for doing aftercare wrong but I did exactly what he told me and what was on aftercare sheet. My opinion is they arent good at doing tattoos on dark skin.

I returned to tattoo jungle after a bad experience. Jeff (sketch ) was very receptive to my complaints and did his best to correct it. Now that Paula is gone so are my issues with this shop.

Ive called several times trying to get help with reinsertion of a tragus earring. Initially I called on a Sunday and the guy said they would be open at 10 am on Monday. I showed up at 10 am, waited 45 mins and called several Times. Still no one showed up. Why have open hours but are not open to provide service? Im very disappointed because I heard good things about this place but Im not pleased. Dont waste your time going there.

Nice staff, but both tattoos I got there were terrible. Lines were choppy, letters and numbers were not the style I wanted and not straight. Even tho my first tattoo was horrible, I decided to go back when I notice it was another tattoo artist. And yet again, terrible tattoo. I now need to get both covered up or removed. I do suggest going somewhere else.

The owner has absolutely no idea what hes doing. I wouldnt recommend him for any type of lettering. Now who knows how much money Ill have to spend on a cover-up. He did absolutely the opposite of what he said he would do. Dont trust the owner to do your tattoos.

If I could give zero stars I would not recommend it came in to see the staff obviously drunk with liquor bottles visible the receptionist was extremely rude and obviously on something other than alcohol The owner Jeff was rude as well he told us to come in and he would be free then told us that he didn’t have time to do anything but a small tattoo and was very rude about it and obviously had been drinking not coming back wouldn’t recommend to anyone that wants a decent piece of art put on their body.

Not very happy, the ball fell off with in an hour because the ball was strippedl, then put in to short of a bar and caused issues. Had to go to another shop to have it changed out to a longer bar.

I still hate this place. After going to other places I realized that this place is absolutely garbage. Stay away from the owner. The new people are a gamble. Give the new people a chance and hopefully you wont regret it.
