Customer service was out of this world. They made us feel welcomed and even offered us water while we waited. The place was super clean and sanitary. And even answered questions I had about tattoos that no other shop could answer. Family-friendly place, Yes, I said it, I brought my daughter (11 months old) to change out her earing stones and they were happy to help, also the same people that pierced her ears to begin with. The prices are a great deal, and everyone was willing to help. Highly recommended for all your body art needs. The variety of items they have to offer is out of this world, and the wall of certificates thats displayed is amazing.

Came in for my appointment ant 10:30 and I called to let them know I’d be 15 minutes late, they said okay no problem. I ended up being 22 minutes late, cool that’s my problem. I go in and she says it’s already 11am I missed my appointment and they’re going to have to reschedule. I understand that they’re running a business but I feel like any professional business would have good communication. How I would’ve like the conversation to turn out is like this. I call to let them know hey I’m going to be late, her say okay that’s fine how late, I say 15, her say that’s fine anything longer I’d have to reschedule. Just adding those few extra words could’ve made the world of a difference. We could’ve avoided the 1 hour drive, we could’ve rescheduled and could’ve avoided an awkward meeting. I’m sure this business has very good people but this generation has poor communication and no professionalism. I wouldn’t come just for that and it really sucks. Being late was 100% my fault and I take accountability, but like I said it’s just sad when you are a willing paying customer. I appreciate the girl for trying to fix the situation the best she could but I’m good on it

Came in as a walk-in appt on a Friday at around 5pm for my third lobe piercings and was greeted by Zara who was absolutely amazing during the whole piercing process. Zara explained everything very clearly in regards to pricing and aftercare. Zaras energy was very calming and enjoyable. Also the other people in the shop were very welcoming and friendly. I did a quick google search the day before and saw their rating and reviews, it was an easy decision to come here. Dont let anyone else fool you. Highly recommend! Thank you Zara!

Beautiful artwork on my custom designed tattoo that my BFF and I had done 3 years ago. We were extremely pleased. And everything was clean and sterilized so Healing process went very quickly.Over the past three years all my colors stayed true and didn’t fade.We are going to head back this week to add on to our existing tattoos. I will give an update to my review after we’re done on our second visit. But so far so good and I would definitely recommend this place.👍

I recently had a body piercing done by Matt, and the experience was fantastic. Initially, I was quite scared, but Matt was incredible at easing my fears and making me feel so comfortable. The process was almost painless thanks to his quick and smooth technique. The cleanliness and sanitation of the shop were top-notch, and everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone considering a piercing. I will definitely come back!

My bestie and i went here to get her nose pierced yesterday and we had a great experience. Maddy did an awesome job walking her through all of the jewelry options and answered all of our questions with patience. Angel did her piercing and they explained the entire process in a very calm manor that didnt feel overwhelming and they provided a little cleaning kit for maintenance, they also helped me with putting in some new jewelry for an existing piercing and was very gentle. 10/10 recommend and will be back here for future piercings.

I was browsing for a while looking for the best place to get my 3 month old baby’s ear pierced. I wanted the best experience for us I came across this shop and definitely don’t regret coming here. I called to make an appointment and was booked the following week in the morning. Ashley was so helpful, patient, and wonderful 🥰 My daughter’s earrings came out beautiful and barely even cried. I cant speak highly enough about this shop. I was visiting LA when I got a terrible infection from a bad industrial piercing (NOT done at Nathans) and the crew here helped me out, including Nathan himself. They took the time to remove it, gave me advice about what may have gone wrong and what to do in the future. If I lived in LA, I would definitely be going to this shop for any future piercings. They seem incredibly knowledgeable and actually care about their customers. And they were cool to chat with. Also, their jewelry collection is sick! Highly recommend.

My go to piercing shop! I have yet to visit the beautiful new Simi Valley location but Ive been to this one and their service is amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable piercers and they make you feel so welcome and comfortable there! Ive been to a few piercing shops in Ventura & LA county and Nathans is by far one of the best! Customer service is consistently amazing as well.

I’ve gotten a few piercings at Nathan‘s in the past, Zuhayla pierced my nose a few years ago, and it was an amazing experience!This past Tuesday I also got my lobe and helix piercings done by Alexa, and she was absolutely lovely and informative. The shop always has a good vibe, it’s always clean, and I really appreciate that the piercers are big on consent and making sure you know exactly what they’re doing. Their prices are reasonable, and they do a great job! I will definitely be going back to Nathan‘s for my future piercings!

Angel lives up to his name 🥹 He is such a sweetheart and he was patient, kind and encouraging to myself as well as my daughter. Everyone we encountered here was super friendly and huge on educating their clients. We aren’t from the area and were recommended to come here by my sister. We are so glad we did!

I’ve been to Nathan’s to get my ears pierced and sitting in on tattoo sessions with their artist Big Ray. My piercing experience was extremely positive, my piercer (I feel bad but I don’t remember who it was) was very friendly and made me less anxious to get pierced. During my times sitting in on Ray’s session was an amazing experience as well, the care and time Ray puts into his work is truly amazing! Honestly no matter who you’re being helped by, the experience will be amazing and stress free!

Been coming here for over 10 years. Always have had an amazing experience. Nathan is great! Everyone is always super positive & makes sure you’re extremely comfortable. I meant to leave this review a few months ago. My daughter got her ears pierced there at about 5 months & everything could not have gone more smoothly. We were last minute to make an appointment (the day before pictures) but Nathan was super kind & accommodating even though I told him I understood it was my fault for not planning better. He found someone to come in. I wish I could remember her name. She also did my nose piercing a couple years ago. This is why you should leave positive reviews immediately. She was awesome & super patient & gentle with my girl. Fast forward to now my daughter’s ears healed wonderfully without any issues & we get many compliments all the time. Definitely recommend!

Zu was so cool! She was so funny and nice and kept reassuring me while I was shaking and sweating and twitching. She offered me water cause GURL I was scared of passing out. She checked me for anatomy, not all shops do that nowadays, which was a super green flag. She sterilized everything in front of me and the piercing went so smoothly and stopped hurting after 2 hours tbh. She has a gentle hand. I found Nathan’s via google and had my second lobe piercings by Annie. They accepted me as a walk-in and the whole process was seamless. Annie gave me options between 16 and 18 gauge hoops for my lobes, was transparent on pricing, and I trusted her opinion completely.Once I previewed the markings, she explained the process of piercing before the needle went in, and boom, all done.Aftercare instructions were thorough and I will 100% take my service to Nathan’s for any piercings I get in the future. So happy with the results.UPDATE 2023:I’ve never had issues with infection, bubbling or skin. They’ve healed perfectly and the hardware lasts. Looking forward to coming back

I was tattooed by Misa and it was absolutely a 10/10 experience. I didn’t go in with a plan so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I looked at Misa’s portfolio and absolutely loved this piece (the rose was not done by them). Everyone was really friendly, they even gave me a granola bar because I hadn’t eaten. 10/10 would recommend!

Nathans Tattoo & Piercing is a great shop! My two friends and I came on a whim to get pierced because we were in the area. Everyone was super chill and Eric the piercer was very nice, and took his time with one of friends because she was nervous. Overall great experience and really dope aesthetic in the shop.

My homegirl was like lets get our noses pierced and I was like alright lets do the damn thang. My daughter recommended Nathans and we made a girls day of piercing. My 26yo got navel and 17yo got septum piercing. The method used was way different from when I first got my nose pierced way back when they used the gun lol Im not that old. Overall it was a good experience at Nathans. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Nathan did the navel and the young lady pierced the rest of us. Both were awesome. Only 2 pic cuz the rest I recorded ✌

Such a great experience getting my ears pierced at Nathans. Nathan himself is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and warm towards customers, and the shop as a whole carries a great vibe. The price is well worth the quality of work done there and the wide variety of jewelry they sell allows for so many options. If youre looking to get Piercings, go to Nathans! I really hate to leave a bad review but If you want a small tattoo I DO NOT recommend coming here. I love this place and I’ve always had the best experiences but this time I was very shocked and upset.Tommy the tattoo artist that did me and my friends tattoos charged us both 150$ each for very small tattoos, my tattoo was very quick and simple a lot faster than my friends and he still charged us the same price… I had asked before he started the tattoo if it was 100$ for my tattoo (small dots on finger tips ) and he said yes but yet charged me 50$ more than he said. I’m very unhappy. I would have known this I would have waited for a different artist that would have given me a deal instead of overcharging me. What really made me upset is that he asked me if the price was okay with me when he obviously knew that he was overcharging me. It was very obvious that it was NOT okay with me. I’m very upset. If you want a small tattoo I recommend going to wildlife tattoo and piercings, they are very nice people and make you feel comfortable and welcome. They also have decent prices for services. Wildlife is located on Winnetka and Sherman way.

We took our six month old here for her ear piercing. They did a great job. They were clean, they were patient, and they offered aftercare instructions. They were very considerate of a baby in general, if you know what I mean.

Got my 2nd lobe pierced by Ashley and she was awesome. Loved the selection they had way better than some other places I called around. It’s perfect for people who want more options than the basic norm most people get. You can go all out here. They have diamonds! Painless and quick. Nathan is amazing with infant ear piercings! Took my 7 month old to get her ears pierced there. Called ahead of time and Nathan took his time on the phone answering any questions I had. He was accommodating to schedule with and very kind. Upon arrival on my appointment, we were greeted with great hospitality. Was thorough and patient. Felt comfortable through the whole process and extra accommodating when I needing to feed my daughter after. Provided a private room for feeding. Highly recommend!

This place is so great! The piercers are very friendly! Im sure all employees are, but Ive only spoken with the piercing people. Ive been coming to this location since 2009. I only come here for body art.

The person who did my piercing is still in training I believe. They read you an explanation that everything they use is clean. However we waited for more than half an hour to get our ears pierced while the needle that I think it’s way too overpriced for me.

Got my navel pierced here by Eric a month ago, had a great experience. Because it was my first actual piercing and I know navel piercings have a risk of complications if not done properly, I was really looking for a reputable place. And I must say, I definitely see why this place has such wonderful reviews! The piercer was very nice and very knowledgeable, I felt comfortable. The piercing area and tools were very sanitary, and COVID precautions were clearly being taken as well. The process was quick and not as scary as I thought it would be. I received a bag of salt, instructions on how to clean my piercing, and a bit more basic information on how to care for it. I waited a month to write this review to see how the healing would go, it has gone very well so far and I have had no complications. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Nathan’s to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to get pierced! It is a bit pricey but they have a wide selection of beautiful, high quality jewelry and their piercers are kind and clearly experienced. It is definitely worth the price! I am very happy with my piercing and the service I received here! I am planning on returning to get a tattoo in the near future :)UPDATE: I have since gotten a tattoo, two sets of earlobe piercings, a nostril piercing and a septum piercing here and I have had a wonderful experience every time! I spent three days looking at reviews to find the right place to get my nose pierced. As I already had one side done it was very important to me that I find a good place that could make them even. The reviews for this place truly stood out and I am so glad I listened to them. As soon as I called to set up a (same day!) appointment the staff was so friendly and helpful. I was there within the hour and was immediately helped after walking through the door. An employee helped me pick out my jewelry and went over pricing, then Maddy was amazing with prepping me for the piercing, placing the marker perfectly to aline with my other one and going over proper aftercare. Nathan did my piercing perfectly and I am so happy with the whole experience and how it came out. Couldn’t recommend this shop more!

Nathans Tattoos and Piercing was a great place for my two daughters first ear piercing! Zuhayla was helpful with ear piercing information, answered my girls questions about piercing and earrings, and she was super patient before, during and after my girls ear piercings. Nathans Piercing even used our own jewelry as long they were top notch for piercing and the healing process! Beautiful job. My girls were HAPPY. My girls and I would recommend this location to any mother and daughters first ear piercing!

Amazing experience! they were so attentive and made me feel so comfortable when I got my double cartilage! I felt very nauseous after and the guy in the front brought me water and some candy. He made sure I was safe and good before I left. The lady who did my piercing was so nice and she was really funny! I definitely recommend this place, so clean and sanitary and overall wonderful!!!

Matt is an absolutely incredible piercer! I’m so glad that I came here. I previously had a few bad experiences with getting my navel pierced, which left me with scar tissue in that area. I was told my multiple shops that it would be impossible for me to ever have it pierced again, and I would have to just live with the ugly scar tissue. Matt saved the day though! He was able to do the impossible, and I have now had a beautiful, healthy belly button piercing for a few months now. I’m so pleased with the way it looks! I can’t recommend Matt highly enough, especially for more complex piercing or if you really want a piercer that knows their stuff. 11/10

Very friendly and lively environment. They were patient with me and my questions and my need for them to speak up (I have hearing loss). They worked quickly and were clean/sanitized with their tools. I got a septum and was afraid afterwards that it was crooked but it ended up just being swelling. However they let me know that, after the swelling went down, I could come back and get it fixed for free if I wasnt satisfied. That ended up not being necessary of course ut it was good reassurance. Id totally go back for another piercing here.

They were fantastic and professional helping us with a ear piercing consultation for a 10 year old. She was so comfortable and happy! They are great with kids, friendly and patient in explaining every step of the process. It was delightful. I highly recommend this place. We will be coming back and recommending it to friends.

I got a double lobe piercing here and it was an all around 10/10 experience. Joey was my piercer and he walked me through every step of the process and made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed. I couldn’t have asked for a better piercing experience! I never do reviews but I was extremely happy with the quality and service me and my best friend received from the whole staff. Especially our tattoo artist Mikayla. We came in spontaneously to get matching tattoos and the whole staff was very welcoming and informative. Mikayla can see we were a bit nervous and made us extremely comfortable answering every question we had and was extremely patience with us. Our tattoos came out beautiful and I’m extremely happy with the outcome!

Such an amazing atmosphere! Went in with my sister as a walk-in to get our noses pierced. The wait was a little long, but it was totally okay! We were walk-ins after all, bound to happen! They are so informative and welcoming. The piercer, Nathan, explains to each client what he will be doing, and takes his time with everyone to insure they have a wonderful experience. Very clean! Got a second lobe piercing about a year ago, when wearing masks was more commonplace. None of the workers there were wearing a mask. I feel like if someone you’re working in close contact with is wearing one, you should automatically wear one out of respect which they did not.Girl asked if the placement was okay and I stupidly said yes. It’s too close to my other lobe piercing which I feel I should’ve been warned about, but due to my untrained eye I thought it was fine. Sometimes the customer is not always right and when it’s something like a piercing, I would like to know if I’m not!Otherwise they were friendly, were clean while piercing me, and my piercing healed well. After feeling uncomfortable with the no masks, I went to oak & poppy for another piercing. Everyone was wearing masks & we thoroughly went over the placement of the piercing there.

Nathan is so knowledgeable and accommodating. Great selection of jewelry for all price points. April 2021I have been a customer since 2017. Six months ago, I purchased several of the finer pieces at this establishment. Recently, one of my pieces, which I was assured could only be replaced professionally, slipped out my ear.... Unable to find it, I approached the owner, Nathan, who essentially told me to have a nice life. Stating, he is not in the business of honoring his word or giving away jewelry, in an ever so pleasant manner, I might add.Horrible customer service; well, thats not true.Nathans tattoos and piercing can be quite accommodating. Nathans is a great shop. The people here are great and Nathan is a stand up guy. He humored me once when I complained about something when I was young, dumb, and didnt know what I was talking about. It wasnt until years later that I realized I was completely wrong. This is where I bring anyone who needs a piercing, or help with a piercing they got somewhere else.

The piercing went smoothly they took every protocol necessaryTo make sure everything went correctlyThey went over step-by-step how the needle worked and How to clean and sanitize the piercing afterwards . They had a large selection of hoops and Piercings to select from. The shop itself was very maintained. I cannot wait to come back and get a tattoo next time.

Got my first tattoo done here by David and it turned out great! Super friendly staff that are there to answer any questions or address concerns. They’re very clean as David showed me all the tools were sterile. Will be back again for any other tattoos!

Got my daith piercing redone here. The young lady was so professional and fixed the placement with less discomfort than when I originally got it done. Update: I took my 8yr.old daughter for her first piercings and, again, a wonderful experience! Calm and reassuring, quick and professional. I cant praise them enough!

Very friendly and professional service. Annie walked me through the procedure (I got regular earlobe piercings) and the best aftercare to avoid infection. One week later and my ears are doing great. Definitely recommend. Im considering using them for my first tattoo as well.

Nathan had pierced almost everything that I have and once I started going to him I didn’t trust anyone but him and his team. The highest level of professionalism- sterile and clean. Plenty of jewelry to choose from and at a great price. The placement has always been superb and he always remembers me. Such chill nice people too. Highly recommend!

I have gotten a piercing here but I’m crazy about the selection of unique piercings jewelry, especially the gold jewelry. I got a double nose piercing and it was even and perfect with the cute surfer blonde guy. Nathan the owner is a gem very professional and so pleasant and patient. I get compliments all the time. I got my first tattoo here during my senior trip with two of my best friends. i got a fine line tulip tattoo on my ribs, I LOVE IT. my tattoo artist was David and he was so kind, so precessional, and so talented. he made sure i got exactly what i wanted and was so easy going. both of my friends had a wonderful experience as well! 10/10!

I had a cartilage piercing done at a mall store that will remain unnamed; unfortunately I got what I paid for. A week later, it was infected because I was having a reaction to the cheap metal. I called Nathans and spoke with Nathan, who said to come right in and hed have a look.Nathan is great, he knows his business and was very professional, yet personable. We talked for a long time about the possible causes of my infection. He explained everything in great detail and made sure I understood every word he said. After discussing everything under the sun about piercing, we decided on a hoop and the metal wed use and off he went to sterilize my choice. Funny enough, he was going to show me hoop sizes/colors and picked one out of the box of hundreds. It was my favorite color and the perfect size, so I went with that.Nathan was gentle, and walked me through the process, which hurt because of the infection. I could not have asked for a better experience. When this one heals, I will definitely go to him for my next piercing.Do yourself a favor, go to Nathans first. It is a little more expensive than the cheap mall shops, but you get better quality of service, better quality jewelry and fudge (yes, fudge)!

Been to Nathan’s twice with my daughter to get her ears pierced. They were great both times. Super friendly staff and helpful. Would definitely go back and would recommend them to anyone who asked.

After a poor experience at a different highly rated location, I was looking for a new place to be pierced. I briefly mentioned at work that I was considering getting pierced that afternoon (I planned it out for a while), and a co-worker and a client from entirely different walks of life simultaneously said get pierced by Nathan. One went as far as to say I would trust that man with my life.Even between preparing his workstation, helping his employees, and greeting other customers, Nathan stayed very calm and focused on the piercing process, which made everything go by pretty fast. He explained everything step-by-step, from choosing appropriate jewelry to the piercing itself. Im not the most talkative, but he was friendly and willing to answer any questions. I was told that I could contact the shop at any time with questions or concerns, which is a large part of what I missed in my experience at the shop I used before.For reference, I got two lobe piercings and a septum done. I really wanted to be sure that the shop was good because Ive heard so many horror stories about badly done septum piercings. Nathan put a lot of thought and time into positioning and my septum came out straight with practically no pain once the piercing was finished. I will definitely be returning in the future should I decide I want more piercings.

Best experience with tattoos and piercings Ive had ever. Nathan and the woman up front greeted me with such grace and excellent customer service. They both informed me on everything and answered all questions I had. During conversation, Nathan and I began talking about where I am from; Orlando. He offered his condolences after learning my family had been affected by the Pulse shooting and gave me an after clean for my piercing at no charge. Compared to other piercers, they go through many extra steps to make sure that there is the lowest chance of infection.Moreover, when I had a bump later, they drained it and give me hydrocortisone, free of charge!They are also extremely kind and friendly, they combine the look and feel of a traditional piercing shop with a strong sense of friendliness and openness.

Went here just yesterday and got a tattoo done by Sean Gallagher. He is a highly skilled artist who knows what he is doing. He consulted me every single step of the way, and gave me his best artistic opinions on my piece. Even consulting his fellow tattoo artists to ensure the best decision. I am certainly not an artist, I gave Sean my idea and he made it come to reality in a way that was much better than I imagined. The shop itself is absolutely clean, with a very friendly atmosphere. I went here October 20th of last year. I went to get my tongue pierced. I forgot who did it but he was informative on the process of doing it and the after care. It was quick and hurt in the good kind of way. I paid around 70-80 i wanna say including tip. Honestly though, one of the best experiences i have ever had. Mind you that tongue piercing was my first piercing ever. 10/10 would recommend

This place is phenomenal. I got my septum pierced and it was the best experience Ive had at any shop. Everyone was friendly and the piercer took the time to educate me on the different options I had, showed me that the needle was sterile, and talked through the whole process to make sure I understood everything. Fantastic experence!!!!We went to get our daughters nose pierced. The man that did my daughters piercing was informative with the care/ treatment of the new piercing. My daughter is 3yr and shes been asking me for earrings after she saw a pair I had in my jewelry box. she asked if she can wear them i explained that she needs to holes in her ears. (I was waiting for this moment since she was a baby. I wanted her to ask me to pierce them) her response was I want holes in my ears! I work close by and have seen this place for a long time. also heard on a mommy group on FB that their daughters got them done here. Ive been saving this place until she was ready.Ashley is the one that helped us. Ashley was wonderful with my daughter, from picking her earrings to piecing them. she so was so calm and patient with her. I can’t rate this place high enough or rave about them too much. i got my third lobe piercings and helix done here in dec 2020 and my tragus in oct 2021. i am incredibly happy with all of them. none of them have been rejected by my ears, they’re all completely healed, and they look perfect. the vibes in the shop are immaculate, and everything is spotlessly clean. eric was my piercer both times, and he’s truly incredible. he has a great sense of humor and is very kind. my parents also got pierced here (double and triple lobes for my mom and one stud on left lobe for my dad). i absolutely will be going back to nathan’s for more piercings as i want a double forward helix and maybe an auricle 💓 i love nathan’s so much. go here instead of claire’s or any other mall piercing place ! this is the best place in town by far!!

They are honestly knowledgeable and informative Ive gone multiple times at this point 4 of us had gone together to get multiple piercings but they are not friendly and just lack general customer service. They are Condescending when you ask them questions. I asked for a 5/16 sized piercing and the girl was like completely clueless as if she never heard that before and apparently its a 5/18 but her approach was rude instead of just correcting she tried to make me feel dumb. Then we go in and theres a girl constantly telling us what we can and cant get pierced if I ask for a triple helix she said you need to get the double. Like you should be making suggestions not telling me what I am going to get done. Then we were asking to see the piercings and seeing what the prices were and the girl was so bothered and you can tell she didnt want to continue helping us. Then I go in tonight through the back and every employee seemed to be in the back They told us to go to the counter and literally all of them were in the back nobody bothered to help us until a guy came up and asked if we need help then he went to go grab some after 15m of Noone helping. This is for Nathan, your employees are causing you too lose plenty of business because they are off putting, rude and constantly make decisions for the customer and tell them its not OK to do that. I personally wont be going back or my people because its already been multiple times that the service was just not welcoming.

This was my best experience getting a piercing by anyone. This is my first time going to a shop and having someone break down the info clearly and very discriptively. Everything was right out of a package brand new and I was informed about cleaning tool use and healing time. I would recommend getting your piercings done here. My piercer was Nathan. He made me feel calm and confident. He even told me what is a bad piercing and why and which way was a better way for me. Very very good with people and what he does. Must go to! I got my tongue pierced and I did not have to wait long and there was no appointment needed. I am coming back to get a tattoo.

I’m super happy with my new daith jewelry! I had a good experience having it put in (replaced the initial piercing jewelry). I will definitely come back for any future piercings or jewelry!- My appt was for 4pm on Saturday with Nathan and they were ~45 minutes behind.-Maddie (or Maggie) helped me decide on my new jewelry while I was waiting.-there is a good selection of quality jewelry.-Zuhayla was friendly and awesome and changed my jewelry.The jewelry here is good quality and this is reflected in the cost. For example, a regular 14k white gold 16g captive bead ring is $110. The 16g Buddha Dia white gold clicker was $220 and other styles I considered were $300-400+.

I got my septum pierced by Nathan a few years ago on my first visit to the SFV. I live here now and was eager for new ink so I walked in today and had one of my best tattoo experiences to date. I have a fair amount of ink and I have had a lot of artists from several cities work on me and Joey Travers really nailed it with grace, skill and charisma! This place was jumping. Pandemic or not, people demand piercings and tattoos! The staff was more friendly, very helpful, and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. My 13 year old son was able to look and ask questions for his piercings (ears). The owner was great. Would go back!

I recently visited Nathans for the first time and got my daith (the headache piercing) pierced by Nathan. The shops atmosphere was clean, professional and Nathan was extremely gentle and knowledgeable. The options for jewelry, as well as the quality, were amazing; I didnt know there were so many to choose from! I ended up choosing a beautiful 14k rose gold deco ring. If youre a person who gets migraines, this is the piercing for you and I would highly recommend Nathan at Nathans Tattoos and Piercings to get it done!

As usual Nathan and crew outdid themselfs. I have been going there for 10 years and always a wonderfulexperience. I wanted a rather unique piercing which Nathan talked to me about and than picked jewelry that was perect for it. Also I had showed up rather late but they staid til 10 to accommodate me ( shop closes at 9) and he had someone walk me to my car They are extremely careful and sanitary. Even without getting a piercing or tattoo its fun to visit as they have one of the largest displays of jewelry to pick from. If u chose to get something done there u leave the shop with good workmanship and a refreshing posite attitude to take with u for the rest of the day because of employees attitudes. Went in for my first Tattoo, and was greeted by the owner. Had an appointment with Sara, who personally called me on the phone a few weeks prior. She was very friendly, helpful, and I couldn’t be happier with the work she did.

Javier gave me my first tattoo. I was scared it would hurt, but it wasnt nearly as bad as I thought. Ive been told he has a light hand which made the whole process soooo much easier. Im seriously a wimp with pain.As far as skill, he did a fantastic job. The tattoo has some very fine lines which he executed skillfully. He also was able to guide on body placement of the tattoo as well as making adjustments to the design itself, all to end up with something Im extremely happy about. Hes seriously talented. With something that I plan on wearing on my body the rest of my life, I wanted it done as well as possible. Javier was able to make that happen. I highly recommend him.

Nathan has been piercing for MANY years - long before it was cool & hip. He did a very difficult piercing for me: he repaired my split earlobe so that I could once again have several hoops in my ear. When it was done, I asked him Is that it? He smiled at me and jokingly replied, Well, I can make it hurt if you want me to. He put me at ease right away, and was VERY thorough explaining the process and aftercare.

I went here to get a rook piercing and my cousin went to get a septum piercing. Everything was very sterile and Nathan and Isabelle were outstanding. Both of us had never been pierced before and so we had a lot of questions to which they answered all of them to the utmost accuracy. The sound and nerves were worse than the pain. I would come back in a heartbeat.

This place is spotless clean, extremely friendly and I absolutely loved Isabel explaining to my kid how to take care of her piercings. She walked her thru all the different ways of washing and cleaning the area, what to expect and how long she would feel the pulse and minor pain. While she sterilized and then thru the process of piercing my kid, Isabel kept calm, kept asking if it felt right and was ok. I expected my child to cry, but nope! Simple and effective, sterile, clean process. Looooved it!

My 6 year old had her ears pireced here today. Nathan could not have been nicer and more welcoming. He went above and beyond making her comfortable. He was so sweet and talked her through the whole thing. Our experence really exceeded our expectations. I highly recomend Nathans.

MARCO Antonio is an amazing tattoo artist. Clean line work, packs in color, and great shading. Marco has been around for a long time all over SoCal. You can always find him at the tattoo conventions or here at Nathan’s. Not only is Marco an amazing artist but he’s also an amazing human to be around. Always has a big smile on his face and loves cracking jokes. He will not only make you comfortable but he will also just brighten your day and time with him with his charismatic personality. If you are a first timer he’s perfect as he has a gentle hand when tattooing.

Best pericing experience! The lady that helped was great at explaining everything and periced my septum with easy and straight!

I got my septum pierced here a couple years ago by Nathan himself. When I found out he was the piercer who was free I initially thought I had won the lottery, boy was I wrong. At the time I had no major piercings (my helix was the only piercing I had other than my lobes) so I had a few questions and I was pretty nervous, which did nothing but annoy him. He barely answered two questions before basically asking me whether I was going to get the piercing or not and I hesitantly agreed. I really wish I hadnt.What I ended up with was a really crooked (and I would later find out very low) piercing. When I asked Nathan about it being so crooked he told me my nose was crooked so he lined it up with my teeth. Now I can get into all the ways this is insane, first and for most being if my septum is crooked he should have adjusted to make the PIERCING look straight, but I think the most important note here is that he did not discuss any of this with me before piercing me. When he saw I was clearly not happy with that answer he then backtracked, told me it wasnt as crooked as I thought, and that it would even out more when the swelling went down.Somehow I believed him and went home but a couple hours later I realized how crazy that was and went back to the shop where two of the other piercers were a lot more sympathetic, telling me they would repierce me if I still wanted to in 2 weeks (wouldnt work because I was moving abroad) and suggesting I try to train my piercing to be straighter by twisting it 5 minutes a day. So basically irritate the hell out of a fresh piercing.Two months later I was living in Amsterdam and had some hypergranulation, but I wanted to make sure it was nothing serious so I went to a piercing parlor to get it checked and pick up sea salt. When they saw my piercing they were horrified. Apparently it was pierced so low half of it goes through my bottom cartilage (which makes sense, because this piercing was extremely painful). They even asked if I had it done by a friend, which makes me sick considering I went to a shop so highly reviewed. If there is any doubt in your mind I would suggest going ANYWHERE but Nathans, he has no business piercing anyone.

The absolute best tattoo and jewlery shop I have ever been in, very clean with the friendliest staff! Cannot rave enough about how much I love this shop! I come in for piercings and never leave dissapointed and am always happier for stopping by. :)

Our poor piercer was so patient with my 5 year old getting her ears pierced. It took an hour of my daughter screaming the place down but actually wanting to get her ears pierced. I can never show my face here again but honestly I recommend these guys 100% for their work! For the record as soon as we left my 5 year old was happy but never again! My 4 year old will have to wait until she can pay for her own piercings when she wants to get something done! LoL!

Eric is great with kids so our baby piercing went very well. He made pirlercing our 5 month olds ears look easy and minimized the time it took. He also explained the sterilization process and gave us lots of tips for cleaning. When it was all done, our baby stopped crying and even smiled when it was over.

They are really nice people. They welcome you and crack a joke sometimes. Also I have found some of the prettiest earrings for piercing here, can get pricy but worth it. the metal they use awesome because I’m not allergic to it

Today I went into the shop to get an industrial piercing and I had the most amazing and positive experience. I unfortunately wasnt able to get a traditional industrial piercing, but Nathan, his apprentice Eric, and Cash put their heads together and came up with a way to give me a piercing that I would be completley happy with. First tattoo ever here. My friends have been coming for years, its an area institution. The staff all joking with each other and helping each other out is awesome, and it felt all very clean and maintained.

I strongly encourage you not to go here. I had cartilage piercings done, and they were instantly irritated. I consulted another shop and was told that all of them were done at the wrong angle, causing more trauma to my ear. They were also the wrong size, to top it all off being way too big. I now am facing the possibility of having keloid scarring. Dont have the same experience I had

I came in to get an ear piercing and also have them see about an infected piercing that I got from another store. They were extremely helpful in their ability to help heal the infection. The new piercing was done without a hitch. I wont go anywhere else now!!

First of all i’d like to say i have over 20 tattoos and when i say this is the worst tattoo i’ve ever gotten i mean it. the artist was going too deep and seemed like he was rushing through it. wasn’t even punching in the black it looks blotchy and uneven. the lines are are very weak as well they even started to come out as if i had got it done in someone’s garage even though i applied aquafor as needed. i don’t know if it was just the artist but he had the whole get up even had a wireless tattoo machine i thought it would be a shop with actual experienced artist but boy was i wrong. complete waste of money and space on my arm.

SUPER slow wait. The people were lovely but I waited an hour for a peircing it turns out I couldnt even get with my nose type- which took them 45 seconds to check.

Ashley did my piercing and i love it shes so professional and so calm , her customer service is amazing and ill definitely be back soon :)

The absolute worst place IVE EVER BEEN TO. Every piercing I’ve ever gotten here has been horrible. Take forever to heal, they are always uneven and horribly done, they are impatient people who do not respect you when you ask them to kindly count because of my anxiety, and could care less about repeicing it for free after THEY mess it up. Thank you for ruining my ears.

Nathan was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. His after piercing care was explained and he took the time to do an excellent gentle job.

This place is my favorite for tattoos and piercings Nathan did my tattoos and Eric did my piercings they both are easy and comfortable to talk to some place are just weird but you feel welcomed here.

Nathans is a wonderful place to get pierced and tattooed. Ive had 7 tatts and two piercings done. They are professional at best!
