Artifact Tattoo & Body Piercing

I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. Kyle strung me along for almost a month. First he said he would call me and let me know how the drawing was going, but that never happened. I called back and his girl friend had an attitude when I told her he never followed up with me. I finally go a hold of him and asked how long before we can start something. He said give me a week and I will call you back, well that never happened either. I called back to day to see if any progress was made and he told me that I would have to wait another month and If I didnt like it I could find someone else. Before I could ask for my artwork back he hung up. I went there in person and was ready to speak my mind but I realized these guys dont make much money and have to sense of customer service so I just asked to speak with owner and requested my artwork back. When Kyle came over he was shaking. Why people act tuff on the phone and are cowards in person I will never know. I was ready to spend over 3k on my Tattoo and had referred other friends who are also business owners and where going to spend good money. After this experience I told them not to go here and find another spot. needless to say this place sucks, the services sucks and I think the reason Kyle kept on postponing is because he could not draw to the level that I expected. Good riddance.

I have been tattooed by Kyle twice now, and both experiences have been stellar. He has always been quick to respond to inquiries, and has excellent bedside manner during what can be an uncomfortable process. His passion for artwork shines brightly, and it is clear that he cares for his clients. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

After doing a lot of research, I called the shop on a Friday about a few intimate piercings, and was given Desis contact info. After a couple of text messages back and forth, his professionalism was clear to me, so I booked the appointment for Monday evening. Desi took the time to do an anatomy inspection, and then we discussed all the options available. I chose to go with three Dydoe (Kings crown) piercings. The room they brought me back to was clean and they had gloves on before they touched the needles, and then changed them a few times to ensure a clean and sterile environment. He and the other piercer were so professional, calm, knowledgeable and quick, that I am definitely glad I drove the hour and a half to get there. If you are thinking about getting an intimate piercing, or any piercing, this is the place for you!Do to the nature of my piercings, I am unable to post a pic, but I assure you, they are straight and well lined up.Also, from what I saw, this place is very popular. Make an appointment, but come early and leave extra time in case someone before you is running long.

The laundry basket wasnt smelling at my house and the big mac was neat except the home depot

Extremely knowledgeable, ethical, responsible staff - wont do a piercing they is wrong for your anatomy just to get your money.Beautiful shop, super clean piercing room, and great jewelry selection.Took my daughter for her 17th birthday, intending to get two piercings, possibly three... ultimately left with one & was happy for the advice. Its healed beautifully and shes thrilled with it.Had a great experience.

My husband and I have been to artifact tattoo 2 times already and we’ve gotten tattooed together each time, once by Kyle and this last time by KD and Jake. I just have to say this place is one of the best tattoo shops we’ve been to. Everyone is so nice and the professionalism shown by everyone is great! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone! It’s best to make an appointment as they are very busy most of the time. We will be going back for every other tattoo idea we might have. Thank you KD, Jake And Kyle. You guys are awesome!

My daughter wanted to get her naval pierced shes 14 we have to bring our own jewelry because the metals like titanium shes allergic to but they wouldnt let us. And theyre real gold jewelry is expensive compared to real gold jewelry somewhere else.

Got my first piercing here 10 years ago and just got my tattoo here. Clean, lovely people, and so many options as far as jewelry go. The prices are reasonable for the quality. They go out of their way to find jewelry you like. Honestly an amazing place. This is probably the only place Ill ever go to.

Been my wifes go to spot for tattoos and piercings.. She introduced me to Desi and the crew. Now my go to spot for all my tattoo needs. Desi and Ciera are amazing piercer, and Kyle is a Rockstar tattooist!! 10/10 would recommend!!

I got my bridge pierced here. I made an appointment with Desi 3 weeks prior to the appointment. I spent 20 minutes after the I got my bridge pierced here July 2022. I made an appointment with Desi 3 weeks prior to the when I wanted it done and traveled from Las Vegas, NV to my dads house in California for this piercing. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told to sit. Desi was in the waiting room and didnt say hi or introduce himself even though I had sent him photos of my face for this consultation. 10 minutes after my appointment I went back up to double check I was still being helped and they told me I had to fill out the consent form. So I had sat there for 25 minutes and I hadnt been told to fill out anything. Just sit. I think they had forgotten about me, but Im not in their head so Im not completely sure. I was brought back 20 minutes after my set appointment time, and had been waiting for 35 minutes for it to be my turn with Desi sitting in the waiting room with me the whole time in plain view and didnt apologize or acknowledge that he had wasted my time in front of me. I specifically booked Desi because he is APP certified and that led to me to trust him. When I was brought back, he had asked Alex to do my piercing and I had to interject to clarify that I wanted my piercing done by him specifically and had been planning it that way for 3 weeks. I did not appreciate the attempt to do a last minute pass off without consulting me in front of me. I got marked by Alex and they were amazing! Took their time and really made sure the markings were as symmetrical as possible. Theyre the only reason I didnt give this place a 1 star. Their bedside manner was good and they were very patient. Desi was unprofessional throughout the whole process in my opinion. He didnt introduce himself, threw his business card across the table instead of handing it to me, he tried to pass off my service to someone else, and used unprofessional language. I didnt feel welcome at all. I thought, his work is good and all the reviews were positive, as long as he does it right, I can get over the bad social etiquette. After all the waiting and his and the shopss unprofessional approach, he pierced me crooked. I noticed it immediately after getting it done and was able to look in the mirror. I was told it was because of swelling. About 1 and a half year that I can confirm, my bridge piercing is crooked. Overall do not recommend Des.

I went there for a septum piercing. They were really nice and inviting, had a decent jewelry selection (offered to order specifics for me) and very sanitary. The woman (Alex) who dis my piercing was really sweet, fun and full on info without being condescending or weird about stuff. Most of all, the shop and the process was very sanitary. Alex was very particular are being clean which I greatly appreciated. 10/10 will return. Getting a tattoo in a couple weeks, looking forward to seeing what they do with it!

Hello ! So I went today and had an absolutely wonderful experience ! The staff was very friendly and really made me feel confident in my first tattoo. The tattoo looks wonderful as it is. Would absolutely recommend this place. I looked around SCV and this is by far the best shop in town

We took my 6 year old to get her ears pierced yesterday. She was very nervous and both Ciera and Desi were so patient and kind to her. They answered her questions, showed her everything they would do and all of the tools they would use. They both did calming breathing techniques with her.In the end she changed her mind right before the piercing. Both piercers stopped immediately and told her it was ok and that they were proud of her for using her voice and making the choice for her body. In the end no piercing was done, but I was amazed with how well they handled everything. When she’s ready we’ll definitely be back.

This place rocks! I got my tongue pierced here and they did an amazing job it’s all healed and I didn’t have any problems. I go there any time I have a piercing emergency, just a few days ago my belly button ring fell out and I didn’t realize, it healed slightly and they just reopened it with a taper. They always welcome walk ins which I really appreciate. I’ll definitely be back, thank you!

Worst customer service ever! The belly button ring I bought was supposed to arrive in a few weeks. However, it took 2 months to get it. Right after receiving it, I had to get it repaired since its threading was apparently faulty.Artifact claimed it would take a few weeks, however, I never received my jewelry back and they always gave an excuse on why I had to wait longer. After waiting 2 more months not having my jewelry I was done waiting. I called asking if I could get a refund or store credit towards another piece of jewelry. They did not respond to me for days. I finally got a hold of the manager and she said I could get store credit towards another piece of jewelry. I said great and went to the store to pick out a new piece of jewelry with my store credit except they said I could only use it towards my previous purchase. This is not store credit if I cant use it to buy another piece of jewelry. So I walked out of the store with nothing. They lied to me and withheld any type of compensation. Its sad because they lost a customer of 10 years. Would not recommend purchasing jewelry here.

I’ve been to a lot of piercing and tattoo shops. But I must say, this place was awesome! All the staff was super helpful. Got A couple of intimate piercings from Ben Davis who was so professional and right away helped me to feel comfortable. Highly recommend this place and big shout out to Ben!

Great experience! Friendly & knowledgeable staff and they have a fairly large selection of jewelry. They do take appointments to help get you in & out quickly. I have been there several times over the years and have always felt comfortable and well taken care of.

I highly recommend coming to this shop for all your piercing needs! It was my first time coming to this location today and they over exceeded my expectations. Everyone there has such a warm and welcoming vibe that makes the place light up! I went in to get a septum and nostril piercing done by Desi and the work performed was fantastic. If you’re addicted to tattoos and piercings, this place would be you’re go to place in Santa Clarita. I’ve received close to 60 piercings and had tattoos done by Kyle & Jake. KD has some amazing work, too. I’ve gone to Artifact since 2018, August to be specific! The friendships I’ve made in this place will last a lifetime. I love seeing their unique work and anticipate the next body work I receive. Though my “new,” piercing experience is coming to an end, there’s always room for more curation work. Shouting out Nicole, the person up front.

This place is amazing! Prices are expensive but that’s because you’re paying for quality and professionalism!! My daughter got her ears pierced there today, Desi and Ciera were great with her and helped her calm down afterwards.Definitely will be coming back to this shop for any future piercings or tattoos!

I got my nosed pierced here. Theyre so nice and straight up with you. You do have to have an appointment, and the jewelry is highly expensive. But, over all its real silver so it cant get infected and my nose piercing is healing very nicely. Also its so Clean they use gloves and all so I highly recommend coming here for a piercing.

I had my nose pierced by Alex and she was great! The pricing was very reasonable considering the quality of the service. Everyone all around was so welcoming and made me feel extremely comfortable!

My roommate and I both nervously took up their Friday the 13 deal to get our noses pierced.They were extremely helpful and patient as we went back and forth on different jewelry and placements.After a bit of a wait they were ready for us and we headed back to get some extra holes in our noses.It hurt really bad for 2.3 seconds. But then it was fine. The piercer was personable and professional. She made sure we knew what was going on during the piercing and how to take proper care of it after.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the energy in the shop. I had my first piercing done here by Dezi, who was very professional. He told me all I needed to know about my piercing and didnt get frustrated by my many questions. I got my nosed pierced and never had problems with it. The place is very clean and everyone is extremely friendly and professional. I will be getting my eyebrow piercing done here and well everything else.

Went there to get a helix piercing, the piercing is crooked, and they put a short post on the back. I ended up having to come back because my skin swelled over the earing (they were supposed to give me a longer post so that wouldn’t have happened) and when I came back to have them fix it all I got was yelled at. On top of a friend getting a lip piercing that wasn’t even on his lip line and ended up on his chin, I won’t be coming back.

I love my triple forward helix! Desi is a great piercer...very patient and knows his stuff. Everything was extremely sanitary and professional. Their prices were very affordable (Im a starving college student), and overall, Im very pleased with my experience at Artifact. I will definitely be coming back for other piercings in the future!

Ciera is amazing! Had 2 cartilage piercings with her so far. She is so knowledgeable. I recommend her all the way. Cant wait to get more!

Love the staff at Artifact!!! The place is really clean and you don’t get that feeling that you might catch something while you’re there (I’ve been to other places and I’ve definitely walked out due to cleanliness.) Ricky Evans is absolutely AMAZING!! His work is by far the best I have ever had and he made me so comfortable! He even did a cover up for me; it’s so beautiful no one can even remember what I had there before. He took his time even though he was of; he stayed an extra hour to finish up on my tat and didn’t seem upset at all! He really listened to what I wanted and it came out better than I imagined. Also Desi the piercer is great!!! He sat with me while Ricky drew up my tat, he kept me entertained and comfortable the entire time. Love his work, I would definitely recommend Ricky for tats and Desi for piercings!!! Thanks guys!!!!

Mo was my artist and she was wonderful! This was the longest I ever sat for a tattoo, and yet it was one of the least painful/uncomfortable experiences. I can tell she really has a passion for tattooing. Her knowledge is extensive. Highly recommend this place!

I just got my nipples pierced by Desi. He was fantastic. He took his time and made me feel completely comfortable. I didnt feel like he just wanted to get me out of there as some other piercers [at different studios] have made me feel. I also didnt feel judged that my nerves were a complete mess [as Ive felt at OTHER studios]. He was very professional and very friendly. Definitely the most painful piercing experience but also the best one by far. I would/will recommend 110%.

Have gotten all of my body piercings here and they are always amazing. Walk-ins are pretty flexible and everyone is super cool and really nice. If you plan on getting piercings done in santa clarita get it done here. You wont regret it.

Artifact recently remodeled and it looks great. They’ve put in a lot of hard work. If you want amazing work that’s worth the price, ask for Chris Alcerro. He’s the best tattoo artist I’ve ever been too and I have a number of tattoos. He’s very professional, friendly and has some of the best realism work I’ve personally ever seen.

Cool place. Great people. Jewelry way too expensive. Nose piercing with jewelry cost $120 Stud broke came to get new stud and it costs for just the stud $120!!!!

I’m so grateful for the lady with the green hair to have helped me. I needed help removing one tough earring that I’ve had for 3 years, but struggled to remove it for over a week. She was able to help me in 2 min, was so kind, and taught me how to remove this specific style in the future. I really appreciate the kindness and patience.

My son has both ears pierced and 1 side helix. I think too expensive.1 side ear $90 , 1 helix $130 and jewelry price with Tip Total $391But staff are very friendly.

I go here for all my tattoos and piercing needs. Mo is a great artist and does some really good tattoos. Desi is a great piercer and will do what you need with the minimum of pain.

So apparently I pick my nose in my sleep because I woke up with my septum retainer no longer in my piercing. I was on a road trip from Las Vegas to Morro Bay and I found this place on the APP website. I walked into Artifact and was immediately greeted by Desi. He graciously sterilised my retainer and replaced it free of charge, which wasnt very simple considering the piercing was only 1 month old and the retainer had been out for 8 hours at that point. I wish I wasnt just passing through town or else I would have liked to spend more time in their shop looking at their nice selection of jewelry and adding another hole in my face. Thank you!

Desi is seriously rad, Im so impressed and grateful for how he helped me get pressure balls back in my upper helix piercings after they got knocked out by a roller coaster. Definitely coming back to get my lip ring back in and for all future piercings. Thank you man!

Pretty good place, got my first piercing here, however I asked for a horse shoe piercing as a smiley and they gave me a segment ring. I didn’t ask for so when I did see it I was a bit disappointed, paid 80$ in total it’s very hard to take out seeing it’s in the most sensitive part of my mouth I went again to see if they can take it out and they said they can but I need to pay for another ring and it was still inflated I understood went again and I understand being busy but completey ignoring my existence was bad in my opinion, I’m still stuck with the same ring I wish I can change it but I’ve tried taking it out myself in the most safest way possible and it seems that it might rip apart. So never again going here sorry

I am beyond disappointed and quite upset with the work I received here. I went in for a very simple tattoo and I ended up with something completely blown out and the artist dug so deep...I went June 2 and it is still peeling and the last scab came off this past week. I have my entire right leg tattooed so it is nothing to do with my aftercare. I have never had a tattoo turn out this poorly. My artist was Sal Magallon.

I got stabbed (pierced) here multiple times and the service is top notch.

This establishment is the most expensive place to get a piercing, tattoo my experience there was horrible they made me feel like I was less then,instead of politely educating me on questions I had. THEIR SO RUDE ! I almost caught a case. they will charge u 2 go to the bathroom its that bad

Ive followed my tattoo artist through a few shops now. Renee is awesome and very patient. The rest of the staff was funny too, once they actually paid attention to me.
