Got cherry sugar skulls from JoJo a month ago, it’s healed beautifully and I have to say she was super talented. Really clean work, light handed so absolutely 0 pain, and she was really kind. Fair price, and definitely will make it a point to be tattooed by her again with a bigger piece next time I’m in California

Billy does the BEST work! color shading and blending, fine lines...I take him an idea and he puts a special spin on it and makes it perfect!

I got a tattoo yesterday: my LP Matador congas and bamboo Indian bansuri flutes. The design was mine, but Im amazed at how owner/artist Billy Barnett brought it to life! If you check out their work online, youll see Even Tide can ink far more elaborate work, but on my simple design I was thoroughly impressed with Billys patience, attention to detail, skill and creativity. The shop was clean, with friendly staff who observed all COVID precautions. I highly recommend Even Tide.

Billy did my very first tattoo, my hummingbird, years ago. It was supposed to be a matching tattoo with my mom but she never got hers, until now! I gave him an idea of everything that she told me she wanted in the tattoo, and Billy designed a beautiful tattoo for her that she absolutely loves! She keeps talking about how she wants to go back and get more tattoos added to her arm. The appointment was for her but he was also able to take a small amount of time at the end to touch up the color on my hummingbird that he did so long ago.Everything from the color scheme to the placement on your skin seems to be carefully considered and the end result is always amazing. Definitely recommend seeing him!

Ive taken my wife here several times to get several tattoos. They are very professional, priced reasonably, and do amazing work. We specifically see Justin, but the others are excellent as well. If youre looking to get a tattoo, this is the place to go.

Amazing quality tattoos at a very fair price for the work. Pretty much my whole family gets their tattoos done by Billy. Ive been to a few tattoo shops in other cities but nothing beats these guys.Plus youre just a short walk from the beach and some fantastic food. Who can beat that?

Man I have to say this is the best tattoo shop in the north county area. And im not talking about the actual shop itself! Its the artist who work there.. These guys do some amazing work.The owner Billy, has to be one of the most imaginative artists I have ever met. This guy will take whatever ideas you have and make something that will blow your mind... I couldnt be more happy with the work I have had done by him.I have also suggested him to friends who have also all been super stoked on the tattoos he has given them.. Just wished I lived closer so I could get more work done by him. But even travelling four hours for a session is well worth the money to me...

Hagen and the other staff there were professional and friendly and worked with me to get exactly the design I was hoping for. Even though they were pretty much full on the day that I called in, they still worked me in at the end of the day and the end result was better than I was hoping for. Come see these guys if youre in the area and have an idea you want to realize!

Came in for a walk-in. The place is a little small but super clean. I got a small piece done on my hip. Looks great! Its my favorite tattoo! I reccomended this place to my friends and they went and loved it too! Good prices for great work!

I got my tattoo done by Justin. His artwork was beautiful and transferred so well. He was very gentle and its healing great! Ill definitely be back.

Made an appointment with Justin Dilmore... Had a great meeting with him but decided to go to a different shop that Ive been to in the past after all of his advice. Definitely will consider Eventide in the future just because he treated me so well 😁👍

I just got a tattoo yesterday from Justin over @ Eventide in Encinitas. It is such an amazing tattoo and being my first tattoo I didnt know exactly what to expect. No question he is the king of nature and tree tattoos.

Went here to get some work done but the guy didnt really seem interested in helping me. Instead, he suggested I get my current tattoo removed/lasered and start over from scratch.
