Ive been in for a few piercings now and Big John has taken great care of me and my friends. Hes quick, clean, and efficient and great to talk to while hes working. He also has a very calming demeanor and puts you at ease for the piercing process. 10/10 would recommend and I will continue to come back for more piercings in the future.

I usually never give reviews but our experience with Best of Time was so positive, we had to share. We took our 6 year old to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Big John was so kind, patient, and efficient. He made it a stress free experience for a very nervous girl. Will def be returning!

This is such a cool place & Big John makes it extra pleasant to do business with them. I originally had my nose pierced in February, someplace else. For whatever reason it still has not completely healed yet And it doesnt help that Im always pulling it out and I have such a hard time getting it back in when I do. I pulled it out many times before but one time, I was so frustrated that I couldnt get it back in I went here, walked in, late in the evening and Big John took care of me right away. Long story short, yesterday I pulled it out again and so I went there today almost 24 hours later thinking that the best thing to do was to get it re-pierced so I would have a post back on it so it would be less easy to come out. Once again, Big John saved the day. He told me my idea was good if thats what I wanted to do but he had a different idea that would be simpler and save me some money too. What a great guy he is.😊 I would recommend every body go there. I cant speak about tattoos but if you want piercings this is definitely the place to go. Friendly, staff, great prices. I was in & out in no time.

I’ve gotten several more-complicated piercings from both John and Alicia, and they’ve all healed completely perfect. I’ve had a lot of piercers, and these guys are for sure my favorite. My friend even passed out in the chair getting a piercing one time and the staff was very kind to her. Good people, good work. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been pierced by Big John and Alicia and absolutely have loved my experiences both times. I definitely plan to come again in the future. Every employee at the shop is so friendly and pleasant to interact with. The piercers make the process seamless and its over before you know it!

I took my twins daughter’s to get their nose pierced with Big John. I give John’s 5 stars, he did a fantastic job. While preparing to pierce their nose he talked to distract the girls. Great customer service and he was knowledgeable. I would recommend him for piercings needs. Oh and it was very clean

10/10 experience. Upon entering it was really clean and the intake process was easy. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, MINDY did superb job on my friend and I piercings. She was patient, helpful, friendly, and most of all caring and had a great vibe. It wasn’t rushed at all she took her time and made us feel comfortable and let us make sure this is what we wanted. I walked out of there very satisfied. I will definitely be back and refer all of my friends here!! Again MINDY was sooo sweet love her down!!!

All the staff were really friendly. MINDY was the absolute best. Such a kind soul. Talked us through the whole experience. She was very knowledgeable about piercings. I will always come here for my future piercings!!! The studio was really clean, and they followed all safety protocols. Im thrilled with my new piercing and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled piercer! Ive had my ear lobes pierced since I was a baby & decided it was time to add a 2nd & 3rd hole on each earlobe. Big John did such a great job! He was quick but didnt rush, taking the time to chat with me to help ease some of the anticipation of a needle going thru my ear 4 times. He made sure I was clear on the aftercare instructions & told me not to hesitate to reach out if I have any questions or concerns. All around a great experience!

Love this place! Every piercing and body mod I have ever gotten has been here and they do an amazing job. I love Alicia and Mindy they are so professional and clearly love what they do. If you want a reasonably priced ,well done piercing this is the right place to go.

We did a walk in at 2:45pm and by 4:20pm today we got things started ! The location is really convenient and has great parking. The inside of the shop is clean and smells delightful. Our artist was friendly and a family man, he made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be back.

I got my industrial piercing here a few days ago. It was a walk-in, and could not have been easier. Minimal wait. The facilities are clean in both the front and back of the store. Big Joe was both the one at the counter at the front of the store and the one who did my piercing. He was so nice, making conversation with me before and during my piercing. It took maybe five minutes tops. Other shops I called about doing the industrial had done a bit of fear mongering about it, so I was a bit nervous, but Big Joe put me at ease. Brought my 16 year old daughter here today and I am highly satisfied with the service we received. Alicia helped ease my daughter’s nerves with her calm and professional attitude and her attention to detail was on point! Sanitization and cleanliness of shop was awesome! Definitely recommend and will return in the future.

I had the pleasure of consulting with Mindy in regards to my belly ring that Ive had for 17 years! Long story short I noticed that my piercing was starting to eject itself from my skin and was red/irritated at the top. Once Mindy took a look at it she immediately advise that I remove the piercing along with home care and how to keep it from getting infected. I love my piercing so I asked if I would be able to get it done again and it looks like there is a possibility!!!! Thank you so much Mindy!!! You went above and beyond to help me and Im truly grateful for having the pleasure of having you assist me with that situation!!!

I’ve been here multiple times for my piercings but my most recent encounterment was horrible. I came in to get a stacked ear lobe piercing and I paid $80 for both ears. The piercer was super friendly but I’m 100% sure she hit a nerve in my ear. The piercing was so high up and my ear was throbbing for days, I had to go back in because I couldn’t even take out the jewelry from how tight it was. The piercer changed it into a labret jewelry which kept moving around and was causing me more pain. I ended having to take it out because I kept feeling sharp pain like shocks whenever anything touched the piercing slightly. It felt like I was gonna pass out when I took it out. The other ear healed up perfectly while the one on the left kept causing me problems.

Everything went so smoothly, with this being my first tattoo i was told what was going on from start to finish! Dave did my tattoo and he did an amazing job at that, i will definitely be coming back for others. extra points for the lollipop and music for distraction

I visited this women owned business to get my nose pierced. I filled out a form, presented by identification, and paid the fee. I waited for about 5 minutes before I was escorted to a room to get the piercing.Once in the room, the tech explained the process and asked which side I wanted the piercing. The piercing happened so fast and nearly painless then it was over.I would recommend this business to my friends and family. It was very clean, organized, and friendly.

Came by here on a random Thursday for piercing removal and they were surprisingly busy (more people than I expected). The service was fantastic and the place was so clean!I came in to inquire about removing an infected double helix before my ear swallowed one of the earrings whole but was told that if I got another piercing, I wouldn’t have to pay for the removal. Although I didn’t plan on getting anything done, I was convinced. Got into the piercing room with Alicia and although I was nervous, I felt secure.She started with the piercing first, knowledgeable in explaining everything to me with demonstrations. When it came to the piercing removal, I knew I was going to give her some trouble. To my surprise, she was able to remove both of the earrings.She is amazing and an absolute professional, I will be back to see her.

Alicia did my nose ring and I have many piercings so many experiences with other piercers and she has been the best i’ve been to so far. Amazing person she made me feel so comfortable as I was extremely nervous. The piercing was over in a second she did it extremely quick and knows what she is doing, consulted before and after showed me after care steps and was very helpful! If I ever get another piercing I will definitely go back to her. The place was extremely clean and all staff were helpful! I love my nose ring and the placement and thank you Alicia you are amazing and made me feel safe and comfortable the whole time and brought a smile to my face!

Me and my dad went Friday night to get our septum’s pierced, it was an awesome experience everyone was so kind and funny and we are so happy with our piercings! Will definitely be coming back!!

I went to get nose pierced stretched by John who did a excellent job and also spoke to Jenni about finishing up a tattoo I had on my neck. She was very friendly along with the rest of the staff. She took pictures of my neck and found pictures that will fill the empty spaces on my neck. I ended up leaving a deposit and scheduling an appointment to get the art work done. I called 3 days earlier to see if I can reschedule and Jenni whats great she was able to take me that day. When I went in to get tattoo again the staff was very friendly the atmosphere was great and very clean business. Jenni did an outstanding job on my tattoo I love them. I will be going back to her again and recommending her to all my friends

I had such a great piercing experience here! I have had my ears pierced 3 other times at other places over the years. Each time they would become incredibly irritated and I would remove them so they could close. I decided to try a 4th time andit has worked amazingly! Big John was so nice and immediately put me at ease. I was a little nervous, even at my big age, and he was very kind. He talked me through the whole process and was very knowledgeable. After a few months I started having the same issues with my piercing that I had with all my others. Big John had told me that he stands behind his work so I went back to see him. He immediately knew I was having a reaction to the metal. He changed out my piercings for a special titanium. He asked me to let him know how they were in a week. My piercings immediately calmed down and have been great ever since. I am so thankful for the care and service provided by Big John. I will recommend him to anyone I know getting a piercing. I made an appointment for my tattoo and put a deposit, the day of my appointment the person who was supposed to do my tattoo was not there, he had gone out of town but no one even called to tell me this so I scheduled another appointment. When I showed up for my second appointment the person was still out with Covid I guess from traveling but again no one called to tell me. No one else wanted to do my tattoo or seemed to care. I never got the deposit back . I’m sure most ppl get a good experience from there but I didn’t. I don’t usually write reviews but I was new to the area at the time and was very disappointed, I will never go back there and will definitely share my experience with family and friends. I hope they can improve their customer service.

Very rushed experience. Felt pressured and unprofessional. Metal/jewelry was not friendly for my ear, and was fit improperly, which happens, but I reached out to the artist on Instagram to have the jewelry switched and she never responded. Absolutely would not go back or recommend. Unprofessional.

Big Jo did me, my sister and cousins piercing and he was wonderful. I was a bit nervous but it didn’t hurt as much as I thought. My ear was sore for a few days. But, the healing process was a lot quicker than my previous two piercings. I do plan on going back to get the other ear pierced. Also, he was clean, used sterile equipment and professional.

Alicia did my monroe piercing. It was quick and easy. She made me feel comfortable. And the piercing looks amazing. Ive received lots of compliments.

Great experience and I love my earrings! I got both 3rd lobes pierced, 2 helixes. They look good, and minimal pain. The lady in the front was warm and inviting, and Big John is a great guy and we talked about Marvel movies. Highly recommend, I will definitely do business again!

I took my son there last Saturday to get a tattoo for his birthday. David was very kind and professional. He took the time to make sure that my son and I were both comfortable with the design. Even when my son wanted to make a change to the design he took his time to fix it. His space was clean, he was very fast, and down to earth. His tattoo style is unique, his lines are crisp and very clear. We will be going back soon to get another tattoo.

Recently got my tattoo by John. My roses tattoo literally looks unfinished, won’t be visiting this place again!! Really unsanitary kept going out to smoke not washing hands before tattooing again. This scaring was caused by the saniderm that he placed on my arm.. straight peeled off my skin.. Don’t get me wrong On the other hand Big John is amazing though that all I can say from this place he did all my piercings cartilage, nose and tragus and was in and out quickly he is the sweetest and nicest!

I took my ten year old there to get her ears pierced. Everyone was warm, helpful, and professional. While we were there, several other kids came in for ear piercings. I didn’t realize it was a popular local place for that. Overall a great experience!

Had a wonderful experience tonight with Big John and Mindy! Both were incredibly sweet and passionate about their craft. Answered all my questions thoroughly and took the time to make me comfortable. Received 4 piercings in one visit and now I’m hooked! I will be sure to return as soon as they have healed for more!

Update from 9/23/21: Shane covered up what was supposed to be a cabbage patch surrounding my son Darian who I lost. He made it even better by replacing it with wings. I ADORE it! Then he added a dragonfly representing my grandfather and butterfly for my grandmother. Its a really great job. It really touched my heart.Shane also switched my daith piercing to something that coordinates better with my jewelery.Update from March 2021: My daith piercing, LOVE IT! Thanks Shane!I had the best experience here at this location having been in business about 23yrs if I heard correctly. The great experience started from my call to inquire about nose piercing. A lovely woman assisted, Kathy, with my call and at my arrival. Shane did my piercing with perfection; NO PAIN! 🤩 Hes a Rock Star! We discussed fixing a tattoo that I have and he gave me a reasonable price. I so look forward to that experience so I can post another review!Important! Theyre constantly sanitizing the areas and everyone wears a mask including me!😁 I felt totally safe.

I got my nose pierced today by Alicia and she was absolutely awesome! Great energy was very gentle yet fast. She helped me breathe through it I was super nervous but she definitely kept me calm. She’s a great piercer I highly recommended!

TLDR: they are fantastic for piercings! I highly recommend!Ive been waiting to get my navel pierced since the dreaded 2020. Im typically very nervous about any kind of body/beauty modification as we all have some dreadful experience! I looked at the reviews for best of times and so many were glowing and the only bad one I could find within a year was from 7 months ago; a woman complaining about her piercing getting infected...2 months after itd been done! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Maam that sounds like a you problem! I called ahead to make sure there was time and headed over. Clean, professional, patient, all the good things! I was able to joke and chat with Big John and he was able to put me at ease and the actual piercing went through easily with just the barest minimum of pain! I asked some questions about placement and some other things and he happily answered all of my questions even some that were about potential future piercings. Ill definitely be coming back to have an old piercing fixed/redone and get my brow done.

Very nice experience. My daughter got her 2nd piercings in her ears, and I got a nose ring. Alicia was our servicer and she was quite nice. She thoroughly explained everything to us so that we were prepared, she was extremely sanitary, and I appreciated her perfectionist behavior. I highly recommend her.

Had to have my middle chest subdermal removed. They did not install it however my piercing started to reject. Angie I believe is her name the piercer was caring, clean personable quick and efficient. I’ll definitely be back.

Not only did they do an amazing job on my nose piercing, but when I had an issue and the hole closed, they were super nice about fixing it, walked me through tapers versus re-piercing, and even cracked jokes with me. 10/10 awesome staff and would absolutely trust them for any of my future piercings.

First off - called the number from searching online and the person who answered was very pleasant (kudos #1)! Stated my daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and walk-ins were welcome! Sure...bring her on in!Got to the studio and the cleanliness and brightness of the shop was another bonus (kudos #2)! Filled out paperwork as my daughter is under 18 and was taken to a back room.ALICIA IS AWESOME!!!!! She was the employee who did the piercing and she was energetic (at 7:55pm after working all day) and very attentive to my daughter. Walked her through what she was about to do and BANG!!!! She got ready to do the piercing. The speed and efficiency and the professionalism of Alicia made the experience for my daughter absolutely incredible! The aftercare information after the piercing is just as important and Alicia took the time and explained the best way to care for my daughters ears.After we were done, Alicia even took 2 more clients! Beyond impressed and grateful for Best of Time Tattoos and Body Piercing!!!

My family went this Saturday to get my 8 year old daughters ears pierced. She was super excited. Big John took great care of her. He made sure, since she was a minor, that there were no other clients in the back area before bringing our family back. He was patient with her, and did a great job! I came in 11/30/23 around 710/715 pm to have my spider bite reopened, because it had closed up two days after I had to take it out for a dental surgery. I believe her name was Meliesha? She was hella nice/Kool/ humorous , it didnt work out 100 percent because of my scar tissue, and the jewelry I brought in popped out and got lost in my clothes for a little.....In the end we found the piece when it fell off my clothes. I held the post in speeding back to the house. I got a piece in now, Ill go back just because of how chill the situation was and her super nice attitude.

My daughter loves her ear piercings. Big John was great with her. Everything was very clean and sanitary. The waiting and sign in procedure was excellent. The earrings that were put in are very pretty. All questions were answered thoroughly and after care was explained well. I highly recommend getting piercings here.

I’m writing this right at Mindy is doing my sisters piercing. The store is sanitary, bright, and inviting. Mindy along with all the other staff were kind, patient, and funny. I got my first facial piercing here (nostril) and the environment coupled with the incredible prices I will definitely come back!

Big john removed my dermal for me today and it was painless im super happy about it. and i really recommend going here for any piercings they are super professional i got my tongue pierced here!

I did a walk in for a nose piercing in August although I’ve had my nose pierced several times before and done here a few times this was by far my worst experience. I bled out horribly a piece of rolled tissue was placed in my nostril before the piercing began which was unusual to me when the process began the needle went half way through and stopped I’m assuming directly on the tissue not allowing space to go all the way through a vessel was hit and my nose bled for several minutes the technique used was something new and honestly un-called for several months later & I’m still traumatized after this experience. The most happened with previous piercings was a pinch watery eyes and runny nose. Just an fyi to Alicia the technique with the tissue inside the nostril is not a good idea. My nose formed a keloid and ultimately the piercing had to be taking out a waste of time money and a traumatizing experience

I got my ear pierced in three spots and Alicia was great! She was kind and kept me laughing the entire time! I would definitely recommend a piercing from her! The whole staff was inviting and made me feel comfortable.

I cant recommend Best of Times enough! We had John as our piercer and he couldnt have been more patient, kind, comforting, and accommodating. I got my septum pierced, my second piercing so Im not experienced at all but John put me at ease! I couldnt recommend this shop enough. :)

Poor selection of nose jewelry. I brought an L shaped nose ring and it fell out within two days after I was assured that it was a good choice. A waste of money. Will not return.

Took my daughter here for her ear piercing (6yrs old) since Ive been before with a great experience getting my belly done and a tattoo years ago. They were amazing ! Very kind and patient dealing with my daughter who got a bit nervous. Waiting time and check in was quick - we were in and out in about 30 minutes. My Little one left SO HAPPYY!!!

Shane was amazing with our girls who were getting their ears pierced for the first time. I received a second piercing on my ears as well. Everything was clean and they took extra precaution to make sure everyone was safe. Shane was very personable and made us feel at ease as well as professional. We highly recommend.

Back in November 2019, I got my septum pierced by Shane, he was awesome! Very professional, friendly and knew what he was doing. So, yesterday (11/19/18), after extensive research, I decided to select Best of Time Tattoos and I am extremely happy with my decision! Big John was her piercer and he did a phenomenal job! He was very patient, reassuring and gladly answered all of my questions and my daughter’s. She was a bit nervous and he truly took the time to help calm her fears. He was professional, caring and most importantly, knowledgeable. He provided me with excellent after care instructions and even gave me great advice for covering up one of my tats! The establishment was clean, welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this parlor and Big John in particular and I plan to return for my future tattoo/piercing desires!!! Big John happened to also be my piercer. He spoke to me the entire time, very laid-back, and created a nice environment. It was my first time going there and had a pleasant experience.I would go back for more piercing jobs. This is a clean, great customer service, and great place!

I’ve gotten my belly button and my conch pierced at Best of Time and they were both phenomenal experiences. John is always friendly, patient, and reassuring. I went there yesterday to get a piercing and ended up getting two. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and funny! After having my ears pierced at a kiosk when I was young and still looking a little lopsided, I wanted to avoid the same fate for my daughter. I went through all the places in the area that would pierce a childs ear and found Best of Times Tattoos and Body Piercing accepted kids, was well-reviewed, offered similar prices for kids and adults, and had great availability for a piercer on staff.Big John did the piercing and he was amazing. When I spoke to him on the phone he was able to make a same day appointment. He remembered our conversation when we got there and was more than prepared for my childs piercing. To calm her down he explained everything from how the piercing industry works to his views on Star Wars, which my daughter greatly appreciated.Even though she wanted to do it, my kid is a bit of a crier. Big John dealt with that amazingly well too. Even though he was able to pierce the ears quickly and efficiently, he let her take the time to adjust. He even reopened my second of piercings Id close.Big John ended by telling us both how to take care of our piercings, asked us to call if we had any questions or concerns, and offered that we could come back in six weeks when my kid wanted to switch out her studs with a new pair of earrings. It was the best experience Ive ever had getting a piercing, will be recommending Big John whenever I can, and well come here if I need any more done in the future.

Ive had two piercings and one tattoo at this place now and Ive had nothing but good experiences each time. The staff is super friendly and down-to-Earth and they take cleanliness to the max. Big John and the other John (with the ponytail) did a great job of helping me out and both my tattoo and piercing turned out exactly how I wanted them to. Went to get my septum and a dermal next to my eye. The process was quick and easy and Big John did the piercings so fast I barely felt them. I came here for my nose repiercing after it got infected the first time, and big john did a fabulous job! i didn’t feel a thing. i also had a great experience getting my tragus done. about a month later my piercing fell out while i was cleaning it and he was more than happy to put a new one in! i recommended three other friends for piercings and they all said they had great experiences. could not recommend this spot more! it’s clean, the staff are friendly, and you get exactly what you ask for and always leave satisfied.

I came in with my best friend and a few other friends (for moral support). She was getting her nose done and I was getting my tragus done. I go my tragus and double forward helix pierced on 2/26, it was overall a great experience. Everyone at the front desk was extraordinarily kind. Shane did my piercings; he was awesome and knew what he was doing. Although I was nervous, he made me feel comfortable. After the piercing I had a few questions about the healing and they were extremely helpful and were able to answer any and all questions. Will definitely come back here for any other piercings!

I recently had my nostril pierced here for my birthday by Big John! He made the entire experience as comfortable as can be for both myself and my Mother who tagged along for support.About a week later, while rubbing my face, my stud came out and I was incredibly stressed because I couldnt get it back in and Im completely in love with the piercing!!I came back to the shop the day after and John got the stud back in, free of charge.Every staff member that Ive met here was a pleasure and if I decide to get pierced again Ill definitely be back.May even start getting some of my tattoos done here as well.

Best Piercing shop Ive been to! The atmosphere is clean & chill. When I went to get my septum piercing the staff made me feel right at home! My first septum piercing was trash and pierced completely wrong with no after care instructions. Sean did a fabulous job on my septum piercing ,Im very satisfied with my new piercing! Also the price wasnt too outrageous either which was another plus!

I am terrified of needles and Big John is absolutely amazing. I got my septum pierced by him and nearly passed out just because there was a needles and he put a cold towel on my head, gave me a bottle of water, a popsicle and lollipop and talked to me for half an hour until I was ready to leave. The whole process was incredibly clean and easy. If not for me being a baby it would have been all over in 2 minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would trust big john with my life.

The experience was phenomenal each time my first experience was with big John for my Medusa piercing he was quick and very friendly love the vibe my second experience was with John the Tattoo Artist he was on point with my design he was so quick I didnt believe he was done the vibe was amazing. Fantastic. This is only my second tattoo and it wasnt really complex, but it was done perfectly. Both Johns that I ran into were super friendly, professional, and helpful. The John that actually did the tattoo was awesome and made the whole thing a breeze. Super cool stories about being a drummer and some of the bands hes run across. Im not sure when Ill be getting more work done, but when I do, Ill be back.

Today, June 5 is my daughters 15th birthday. She has been asking to get her nose pierced & I wanted to take her today to get it done on her birthday but unfortunately she worked until 7:30 pm. I called Best of Time Tattoos and Body Piercing at 7:25 pm (on Saturday night!) & asked they had any opening tonight. He said yes but I then told him I could be there by 8:10 pm. Even though the piercier was suppose to leave at 8 he stayed & waited for us to get there!! When we got there the outside is clean & looks great & when we walked in it was just the same! Everything was clean & staff was friendly! John was great piercing her nose, joking with us & giving her information on how to keep it clean This shop is great & I will certainly being going back! A friend referred my husband and me to Big John at Best of Time for ear piercing.We were both apprehensive because our 5-year-old daughter was already anxious about the experience in a familiar setting (the mall) and tattoo shops arent typically kid-friendly. However, we were relieved to see that the shop was very clean (with strict adherence to all local COVID-19 guidelines) bright, colorful, and almost felt more like a pediatricians office (the parking lines and outdoor fan were painted rainbow colors, the lobby was a spring green color, and her ears were pierced in a small pink room).We were both greeted and reassured that wed be taken care of by Big John and he did a great job. He was very kind, patient, kept us informed during the process, allowed us time to regroup when needed, and even offered her a lollipop and popsicle for doing so well.The only suggestion I have for them is to offer a wider earring selection. There was only one very plain looking set that we ended up going with and were all looking forward to changing them out after the healing period.I would definitely recommend Big John at Best of Time for childrens ear piercing!

I got an industrial piercing, I dont know what Big John did or how he did it but it wasnt as painful as when I got my other ear done. Also it was extremely quick. I mentioned I should have brought a stress ball with me too squeeze on and he pulled one out of nowhere lol Id definitely go back

I got my tattoo on Tuesday. This is the second tattoo Ive gotten there. As usual, I had an excellent experience. John was my artist and he executed my design perfectly. He was funny and friendly and made me feel comfortable. He even had lollipops to calm my nerves! Lol He did an excellent job and I will be back to see him for my next tattoo!

I went to get my helix pierced, my piercers name was Donnie, he was extremely professional. I loved the shop. It was clean and looked amazing. I felt welcomed there. I was able to get the piercing done, I was also give discounts out on my next piercing. He provided me with the cleaning solution before I got the piercing, then after he showed me how to use it and clean my piercing properly. I would definitely recommend it to a friend!

I came in to get a simple tattoo on 2/12/16. Ive never gotten a tattoo from here before but from start to finish they were very kind. I spoke to John at the front desk and I told him what I wanted which was the word Faith. I had a picture and was able to send it to him so I could get the exact one. He was very nice and helpful. Shane actually did my tattoo and he was nice as well. Of course it didnt take long and I love it!!! Im happy with the placement and he gave me some tips on aftercare since it was such a simple tattoo. One of my favorite tattoos I have!! We also talked about a cover up for one of my other tattoos. Ill be back hopefully this weekend to get that done. Ill be sure to ask for Shane!

Big John pierced my 12 year old Granddaughters lobes last year. I remembered that she felt no pain and they healed up so fast. I wanted my upper lobes pierced and my left ear Helix pierced. I went to Big John and he once again was so professional and clean and friendly and my piercings all healed super fast. I highly recommend Big John for all your piercings & Ill never go anywhere else.

Came here with my sister and we are both very satisfied. Hers was a lobe piercing while mine was a snug as shown in the pic. The piercer joked around a lot, especially during my sisters turn, but was very respectful that I didnt want that and stayed serious when needed. Its still red, obviously, but its healing up very nicely and Im excited to swap jewelry when its ready for that.

My visit to this place was sort of last minute. Im not from this area and was only here for work purposes to assist with the Covid 19 crisis. The tattoos that my fellow nurse and I were hoping for, were not as straight forward or as simple as we first thought. However, Shane, our Artist, was absolutely Amazing and somehow managed to squeeze the both of us in without an appointment despite the place being very very busy. I went in with no appointment other than calling in the morning to see if they were available for a walk in tattoo. I already have 8 tattoos from various shops around Baltimore county/city. The guy Shane who did my tattoo took two pieces of artwork and combined aspects of both to make it perfect. It was a realistic black lines & shading image of a mountain scene. He made some artistic changes to the work that turned out way better than expected. Told me to come back when it heals for any touch ups. Im very happy with my choice of tattoo and shop! I will definitely go there for another one.Very friendly, quick, and helpful.

I finally talked myself into getting my nipples pierced and walked in here. The place is nice, everyone I spoke to was super chill. I went today at noon to get my nose pierced! Big John welcomed me and my sister at the door with all paper work. He brought us inside and this is where we met John who told us to not be nervous and that everything would be ok. Shane took care of us! He was fast, clean and professional! I got my first tattoo here and I absolutely love it. I wanted a custom design, and John drew one up that was even better than what I had in mind. He made sure to show me the materials he used, and verify that everything was clean, which made me feel a lot less nervous. My tattoo came out amazing and I love it! I have come to this location several times for tattoos. Each time i was pleased with the outcome of my tattoo. i have had Shane a few times and Little John once. Shane is definitely great at his art of tattooing. i would recommend this business. The only neg i would have is time, be prepared to spend a few hours in the shop due to delays and drawing.

My first tattoos ended up with disappoint. I made an appointment with Casey for an armband tattoo. He made a error and it was not look like the same in the picture at all and the next day, When I told him, it is not the same and also missing one half line, he told me that this is not a actual tattoo it is just a picture. I asked him before getting it done if it is going to be looking the same and he said yes, I paid $200 for it. I showed him another very close armband picture if he can cover it up, he said I would do only touch up and make the lines thicker and he want to charge me another $80 for the half line he never inked on my arm. lines are not even straight. I’m now looking for another artist for cover up tattoo. Ended up getting the one in the third picture, sorry guys but I literally wasted my money and messed up my arm :(

My best friend and I decided to get Daith piercings, I live in northern Virginia and she is in Baltimore! She was suggested by a friend to come to Best of Time Tattoos due to their great customer service and friendliness. Drove down to get the piercing and from the time I stepped foot in the door I was kindly welcomed and informed of the prices and just had a great greeting. Big John was the guy that welcomede and low and behold hed be the one piercing! Now the process of piercing is not bad, and the fact that both Johns managed to still make me feel comfortable even though I was a nervous wreck made it all worthwhile! I definitely will be driving out again (if I decide to get more piercings) only to come to these guys! Very professional and friendly! Thanks guys!!

The service at the Best of Time Tattoos and Body Piercing is TERRIBLE! If optional I would give them no stars. My boyfriend and I went to Best of Time Tattoos and Body Piercing on January 5, 2016. We got there at 12:20pm because John told my boyfriend to be there at 12:30pm. Upon arriving this heavyset guy greeted us and my boyfriend said he was there to get his tattoo done. The heavyset guy looked confused and my boyfriend proceeded to say that he sent his design through email for John. The manager said okay let me go take a look at it. He left us outside in the waiting area for 30 minutes before another guy with dreads came out and said is this the tattoo that you wanted? He showed my boyfriend the design and the overall drawing of the photo was horrific. My 1 year old cousin could draw better than what the guy with the dreads showed us. My boyfriend was very calm and said yes and the guy said okay what did John tell you the price would be? My boyfriend said 75$ and the dude with the dreads said OH NO! NOT THIS! The other guy came out and said Yeah dude this tattoo is not 75$ off the back we would charge 200$ My boyfriend said okay well you can call John and ask him because thats what he told me. The manager and the other dude said well John will be here in 5 minutes. So, we sat and waited for another 10 minutes. During that duration of time the manager and the guy were both discussing very loudly and rudely how they will not accept 75$ and how this design of the tattoo is way more. Finally, John showed up and came out and acted like he had amnesia. My boyfriend explained further that he came January 4, 2016 and spoke with John and John told him 75$. John said oh well dude I didnt know you meant this and the manager came out and said yeah dude this is again a 200$ tattoo. John then went on to say oh I can give you a 75$ tattoo if you want. (meaning the tattoo would suck from the way he was saying it) At that point my boyfriend and I were just ready to leave. Being a former manager in retail the customer service and management is very poor. The staff is highly unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BAD TATTOOS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Ive been going here for years back when it was Bears Den tattoos. I have 13 tattoos and all of them except 1, Ive got them here. I remember when Shane and Bear, himself, did some of my tattoos and they were fantastic! They always had me coming back. Very clean place, excellent customer service, clean utensils, etc. Ive never had a problem. Since they changed it over to Best of Time, I have received the same treatment. Ive have came once for one of my newest tats about 6 months ago. I was greeted by one of the guys there and he was very friendly and welcoming. I had Donnie, one of the tattoo artist, do my tattoo. He was very friendly and very cool. My tattoo came out beautiful as always, that is why I always come here. I used to live in the area but since I moved father away, I will still make the 30 minute drive. It is definitely worth it. The prices are tattoo prices. I mean, if you want a quality tattoo at a clean place that takes care of their customers and they use clean utensils and you want a place were the tattoo artist knows what they are doing and they love their craft, then you are going to pay for it. I mean I dont think the prices are high, you get what you pay for. Quality work. You want quality, you have to pay for it. I trust them. I love this place and I will be back probably this weekend and I will ask for Donnie. :)

I highly recommended coming to this place. The staff was extremely friendly and very funny. I got my belly pierced and it was a very easy process even though i really nervous . The piercer “Big John” made the whole process go by quick i didn’t even know it wasn’t happening until he said done lol. That’s how easy he made it. Prior to coming here, 2 people I knew got facial piercings and they looked great! When I got here I received AMAZING customer service! I wanted a certain size jewelry that they didnt have in stock at the time. The piercer ordered it so I would be happy and satisfied. He could have easily told me thats all we have or to basically suck it up and take what you can get. But nope!! And my piercing turned out great! BEST IN BALTIMORE! My new goto for piercings!

This is such a nice place and everyone was so friendly. I got a belly button piercing here and I was so scared but the guy who did it helped me a lot and was so nice about it! He made me way more relaxed about getting it and I love it it came out perfectly. I have been taking care of it with H2O spray that they offer in the store and I have no problems. It was also a lot cheaper than I expected as most places have it more expensive. I will most likely be back to get a tattoo Ive been wanting. I definitely recommend this place!

Shane was super nice! I went to get daith piercings with a few family members. I was really nervous and shane reassured me and making sure I was okay during the process. He explained everything clearly about how to clean the piercing. And i really enjoyed his demeanor. Overall 5 star experience! 10/10 recommended !!

After an outrageously expensive quote for a piercing from another shop, I did some research and came here. I walk a little concerned because I’d heard that daith piercings can be difficult so many piercers won’t do them. From the moment I walked in the door, they were organized and helpful. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and wouldn’t agree to do the piercing unless they were sure they could do it safely. Shane did an awesome job. I will absolutely be back!

Shane pierced my septum back in May and did a tattoo in July. Septum is perfectly placed, healed with no issues whatsoever. I followed the aftercare instructions he gave me for my tattoo, and it healed without a single scab. I highly recommend this place!

Got a naval piercing done and was so quick and simple and big john talked me through it so the pain didnt get me to me. I loved the outcome of it . great service and very friendly. Only problem I had was more personal because my piercing had a reject so gotta wait to re do it again. It did so well the first 2 months.

This is my second time at Best of Time Tattoos!! I had Shane today and he did a cute little flower on me. I appreciate how funny he was and how caring he is regarding his work. I recommend this place to everyone and will be coming back again.

First off, don’t pay any mind to “Keith Cornish” “Destiny Miles” or “DessDemi” - They are all the same person and she is insane. Seriously! I was there and witnessed her meltdown over having to wait to be pierced. Shane was nothing less than professional apologizing for being the only piercer there that day and working on a scheduled tattoo. She was being rude to him and had an attitude about waiting. Yes, she had to wait over an hour but so did the rest of us. She sat there talking on the phone to some guy about how she was going to “make the business hurt for having to wait” and “how she was posting from different accounts” The immaturity didn’t stop there, something set her off when she gave her license and was asked about payment - she came back to the front and was removing pictures off the wall and daring the employees to touch her. The employees all remained professional and just asked her to leave the establishment. Once outside, it didn’t stop there. I watched on the security monitors as she picked up a chair and threw it at the window. Employees then went outside to tell her the cops were on the way and she not only tried run them over, but also hit the building and several cars! Insane! B*tch was insane!Once she was off the property, and the adrenaline level came down, piercing went perfectly! Didn’t even feel a thing! Shane was so nice and made me feel at ease. Everyone there is always so nice. This was my second piercing here and i’ll be back for more.

This is my go to tattoo and piercing spot I havent been in for a little bit but Shane did all my piercings (Cartlidge, Rook, Industrial, Conch, and nose). I also got my first tattoo done by John, and I had 0 problems with every last single thing I got. Planning to go back this up coming week for my birthday to get a tattoo to remember my grandmother. I love the vibe of this place and everyone that works in there. Big John just pierced my Daith (an ear piercing) and did a amazing job. He’s definitely got some tricks to the trade. The shop was clean/perfessional and set up very cute and Artsy! Loved the slick looking graffiti outside of the shop. Overall a wonderful experience. Thanks John!

Theyre great. I got my septum done there a few weeks ago. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I lost the bead to my septum ring yesterday. Today, I went to get it replaced and they put it on free of charge. Once again, I was in and out in about 5-10 minutes. Im definitely going back for my next tattoo.

I love this place! I got here for all my piercings and eventually tattoos. Today I had a great experience, I came in with a difficult jewelry change and when it didn’t work out they were kind enough to give me a new replacement jewelry for free and the replacement for free in general. This place is wonderful, everyone is so nice, highly recommend!

I got my nose pierced here and it was great, I was only there for 20 minutes but Shane explained everything to me about after care and all that stuff. I felt light headed afterward and they let me sit for a while and gave me water. He was really nice and I’m glad I went here.

I went to get my nose piercing fixed because it came out the day before and my experience was great. The guy who put it in (I didn’t get his name) did it and it didn’t really hurt, and he put a backing on so it wouldn’t come out again. He also gave me great advice on cleaning it since my nose was so swollen.

All I can say is BIG JOHN is the BESTTTT!!! My daughter and I went to a piercing shop in Towson and they were EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We spoke with Big John and came to Best of Time and he made us forget about our bad experience and made our piercing experience SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! We will be returning very soon!!!
