I’ve been going to Precious since she was an apprentice and I’ve gotten 19 tattoos and a nose piercing from her which I love so much! My piercing and all my tattoos have healed very nicely and don’t really need any touching up. She does such a great job and makes sure you’re comfortable and happy with your placement. Her station is so cute and always so clean! She always has a positive attitude and makes the hours go by so fast!My dad has gotten a tattoo by Mack a couple years ago, which healed very nicely and the experience was great!Everyone at the shop is so friendly and very helpful when I’ve asked for their opinion on designs and placement. I can’t recommend Mack’s Tattoo Shop enough!

I am so happy with my ink. It’s my first tattoo. Starr was my tattoo artist and she did an amazing job. We designed my sleeve together and she had some fantastic ideas on how to make it really pop. The vibe around the shop is very cool. It’s like being with a family. Mack is an amazing artist as well of course. It was fun to watch him do work in between sessions. They both do very realistic, tattoos. If you’re looking to get ink, I highly recommend going to Macks tattoo shop.

I have gotten all of my tattoos at Macks Tattoo shop and I am so happy with the outcome every time! My artist there is Precious Torres. Every tattoo she has done for me has healed nicely with no loss of color or bleeding. She is the very best at fine lines and has a light touch of hand so it makes the tattooing process go by so much smoother and easier. Her station is very organized and clean, and she always has the best attitude and personality. Her art is not one to miss. She also does permanent makeup as well.The owner and artist Mack, is a very personable guy and very talented. His business has a cool yet very sophisticated environment that is always clean and welcoming. Everyone there at Macks Tattoo Shop is amazing. 10/10 would recommend for tattoos, piercings, and permanent makeup by Precious.

I am thrilled I finally committed to a tattoo shop and it being Macks. I shouldve have ventured to his shop fourteen years ago when I first moved back but dared not to. This is the second tattoo I have received there and I love them both. The first tattoo was Mack and thought the shop was a bit chaotic, he made sure I was extremely comfortable to the point I nodded off. It has healed beautifully and I wear my ink with pride. The second tattoo appointment was with precious and I had a few done within our time together. She is very respectful, kind, and courteous. You can tell she loves what she does, not to mention she has a great hand; gentle to the point of hardly feeling any pain. Its a comfortable atmosphere, jokes and conversations galore. Even before. I will continue to support this shop and hope to establish a welcomed repore with them; always recommending.

Mack did my husbands tattoo sleeve. He did a phenomenal job. The whole vibe and environment was positive. It was like visiting a good friends house. Mack worked into the wee hours of the morning for 2 days to get this done for my husband as we came in from slc. Would absolutely recommend this business to anyone who needs a tattoo or piercing. And the tattoo came out looking better then we could have ever hoped for.

Awesome artists, Mack’s work is true art, unfortunately I didn’t get that but I got the next best thing. I got ink from three of team and all there work was awesome. These guys are AMAZING. The shop was surgical-clean, highly organized, and absolutely welcoming. Gino, Mack, Tracy and especially Josue (who was my artist) were so warm, accommodating, knowledgeable, respectful and passionate. Their vibe made the entire experience so much fun and 100% positive!The journey started with Gino, who made sure to coordinate everything so that my artist, Josue, had exactly what he needed to conceptualize and draw up my idea. Gino was able to get me in the very next day, first thing in the morning. He was so sharp, customer-service oriented, and very concerned that I felt confident and comfortable coming to the shop. I immediately knew I made a good choice, just based on how Gino helped me and answered all my prelim questions.Josue was up next to help. I got to the shop and even though he was working on another customer, he was there to welcome me, invite me in, and discuss the vision behind my tattoo, go over the size, dimensions, pricing, color… he let me talk to the customer he was working on (who also was super-pleased with his work, and was a repeat customer for him) to get a sense of his touch and style.I returned the next day and sat with Josue for a major (8” x 3”) forearm colored piece. He put on a great Blues playlist on the shop sound system (after I told him I loved B. B. King) and worked on my arm for the full 6.5 hours, until it was perfect. He repeatedly checked in with me on my pain-tolerance and comfort. He made sure, as he progressed, that I was happy with what I was seeing him do: the colors, textures, details, spacing, structuring. He also walked me through everything he was doing, answering my ga-jillion questions about everything: the ink, my skin, after-care, his journey as an artist, his inspirations. He was so warm and open and mindful, it totally came through in his work. A true talent and skillful artist!I also had the pleasure of meeting his brother (and shop owner), Mack. Mack, himself, was working on some clients while I was sitting with Josue. His work was gorgeous, and I could clearly see that artistry and raw talent run strong in that family, for sure.The whole experience was just fantastic. From start to finish I was catered-to, made to feel important, cared-for and appreciated. From talking (always respectfully) about philosophy, politics, the pandemic, art, music, literature, relationships and family, to sharing a meal (since I was there for the whole day), to them walking me through the entire aftercare and tattoo maintenance process, they were 100% invested in making my experience EPIC!!!

Great shop, super friendly and accommodating. Able to get 3 of us in real quick for something to remember a family member by. Highly recommend.

I came all the way from Tennessee to get a tattoo from this shop. My artist was Precious, she was super friendly and talkative. She kept asking if the tattoo placement was okay and made sure I was happy with it before starting. She made sure I was always comfortable and didn’t mind me having bathroom breaks, because I don’t do well with tattoos. I was totally satisfied with my visit and will for sure come again. 100% recommend!!

Precious did my tatooes so well, I love being in the shop with her. She’s so kinda and patience I love the vibe of her.

My husband and I recently drove three hours to get tattoos done by Kyle and Starr. I highly recommend Mack’s Tattoo Shop. They were very clean, professional and competitively priced.

They were all very friendly, but not transparent with information. My youngest daughter’s ears were pierced simultaneously with small needles. It went smoothly with little to no pain. I would have given them a five star rating if this is how it went for my second child. The person piercing changed and wouldn’t pierce both ears simultaneously, even though the two people who pierced my first daughter just stood on the side. He used a significantly larger needle, which caused her quite a bit of pain, and she had to endure it twice! My piercings were also done with a larger needle. If they were out of the right size they should have been honest and let us make that decision if we were willing to use the larger needle. Also, the pricing was NOT transparent. We couldn’t make sense of what the services cost and there was no itemized receipt to clarify. I would not recommend Mack’s for piercing ears, especially children.

Absolutely love this tattoo shop. Such an amazing staff. Kyle is my artist and he is amazing. We have been working on my sleeve and I am in love with it. It’s so beautiful and I get so many compliments. I refer people to him all the time. He is such a great guy and very talented.

The dude legitimately admitted to intentionally messing up my tattoo. Then wouldn’t give me a reason why. I won’t be pointing fingers, but I should also add. The fact that they were a little unprofessional, and judgmental.

Seriously loved getting my piercing done here! I came in to get my septum pierced and Amanda was so kind and helpful because she checked my nose anatomy first and when we realized the placement of the piercing, she was honest with me and we deduced that it wouldn’t work with my nose structure. She said that studs on my nostrils would be cute so we went with that, and they are my favorite!! It was a really professional environment and Amanda was so friendly and welcoming. If you are thinking about a piercing, I completely recommend and encourage this shop!!

Kyle Cook is the absolute best! Ive been going to him for over a year now and hes done almost all of my tattoos, he always listens to exactly what I want and is very understanding! Hes flexible with his schedule and always checks on me during the tattooing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND also hes hilarious!

For lobe piercings Macks is an okay place to go, but for any facial piercings I cant recommend it. I went to Macks for a lot of my piercings when Amanda worked there, and she did amazing work, but since she has since moved to work at a different tattoo shop in cedar I cant really recommend macks anymore. The new piercer messed up my eyebrow piercing pretty badly, used a straight needle, and is not experienced in it despite sounding confident. I would love to leave a good review, and he did a decent job on my fourths, but if you are considering any other piercings just keep in mind that all the positive reviews of piercings are from when Amanda still worked there.

Kyle Cook is the guy you want to do your tattoos! I had Kyle do my first big tattoo/cover up and he seriously blew it out of the park! He used lots of different colors and made my bad mistake beautiful. Kyle was so kind to me and made me feel comfortable which is always a plus! I couldn’t recommend anyone better. ☺️

Mack and his artists are amazing at what they do. Have had multiple tattoos done there and have always walked out happy with the end result!

Some friends and I were in town for a reunion, and per tradition, we get another piercing each time that were together. Of 5+ shops that we called, this was the only shop that was willing to do our piercings together. We even came in an hour before closing and they were so accommodating. Amanda was friendly, professional, clean, and made us feel so comfortable here. Definitely recommend!

Got my first tattoo done from Kyle (thetatinthehat on insta) last year and which was a lower patchwork leg sleeve. Absolutely amazing work and healed incredibly. He even had an idea to throw in some red to fill in the negative space a bit and wow, that made it pop. Most recently got a thigh piece from him as well and the work is mind blowing. 17 hours in 2 days and with how light handed he is the pain was nothing. Every person that sees my tattoos always thinks they are so cool. He is extremely light handed and makes a full session a breeze to go through. Also the guy is just super chill and actually enjoyable to talk to. I highly recommend Kyle as your artist if you want some super well thought out pieces.

Kyle Cook (@thetatinthehat on instagram) is the man you want to see. Very talented artist at Mack’s and will not disappoint. He had taken a tattoo I had gotten done poorly at another shop and completely transformed it. If you’re looking for a color tattoo he’s the best you’ll find! Very bright and very clean. Can’t recommend him enough!

I got my septum pierced with Amy and she is absolutely amazing!! And she knows what she’s doing!! She lets you know the process of the piercing and checks you out first to make sure you have the right anatomy for the piercing as well. 10/10 I can’t wait to get my jewelry changed by her :)

Got my Daith piercings done here and they were great! Amanda did mine and she was super informative and gentle. 4 stars! Even when I pulled away because of the pain she was really nice and just told me gently to move back over. I was super nervous but she was amazing.

Went in today and saw Amanda she was so helpful, the piercing was quick. She’s super friendly :)And then helped me pick out a new septum piercing, she even put it in for me so I didn’t struggle with it. I then went back shortly after because I’m picky and didn’t like the way the septum was sitting. She set me up with a smaller one that was more dainty and much more my taste. I love Mack’s shop and have been in for a few different tattoos and piercings and have always been treated so kindly. They are amazing and I highly recommend any of them for your piercing and tattoos :)

Kyle Cook is an amazing, dedicated, and super creative artist, puts so much time and effort into bringing your ideas to life. Ive gotten both memorial pieces and fun ones that I love. Hes also great about talking through the whole process with you and really helping you feel comfortable with all of it.

I took my daughter in to get her nose pierced yesterday For an early birthday gift. We had the piercer named Amanda she was so wonderful!!! she talked my daughter through step-by-step, was so patient and made sure she was OK! Quick, efficient and very clean! definitely go to her if you plan on getting any piercings! i will most definitely be going back to her.

Amanda Hunter is the absolute best. I messaged her about doing mine and my moms nose piercings. She got us in right away and completely took care of us. My moms nose ring had came out later that day and Amanda met us at Mack’s tattoo shop at midnight to hurry and get a new one in her nose. Best customer service. 5 stars from us.

I’ve gone to Mack’s twice now in the last few years, and they’ve taken great care of me both times! I had both daith ear piercings done (the ones for headaches) and a super cute nose piercing. Everyone was super friendly, professional. The place is clean and well lit. Well organized, and things are run smoothly! I liked the piercer and love my new industrial but I wish I asked before getting it done as it cost $85 which is expensive even for an industrial piercing. There was a sketchy guy just wandering around the shop talking about doing piercings. The piercer said he USED TO work there but now he just hangs out which is just odd and made my friend and I uncomfortable.

I went in to get a vertical labret. I’d never had a piercing I remember done as I had gotten my ears pierced very young. The piercer was so friendly and made sure to make us all feel super comfortable and safe. Everything was very sanitary and my piercing looks amazing!My friend freaked herself out and almost passed out and she was so sweet making sure she had water, candy, and enough time to calm down before proceeding.Any future piercings will for sure be done through her.Totally unimportant, but she had me take my own picture later to send to her which was great cause I looked awful that day and that extra touch made me like her a whole lot more.10/10 if you need a piercing go to her.

I got my septum done with Amy. She was friendly enough but being friendly doesnt make up for everything else. First off--- there was a guy just wandering around the shop who claims to be a piercer there- who did not actually work there. I got the impression he may have been on something and it made me a little uncomfortable... second, the jewelry that she put in is TINY. Its so hard to clean around you can barely even see it. And finally- I made the mistake of not asking about price BEFORE getting it done. If I had known it would have cost me 85 dollars for a single piercing I wouldve walked right back out.

I got a tattoo here for a flash sale they were doing, I got what I thought was a simple design, but the linework was wobbly and an uneven thickness, the shading wasnt even filled in all the way, and it healed terribly. I dont remember the name of the artist that did my tattoo, but he was the guy with a bunch of anime art on his wall. I would not recommend this shop, or at least do lots of research before hand on the artist youre getting tattooed by and avoid their flash sales.

Got nipple piercings from Amanda and she was amazing. Sanitized jewelry, very clean work station, washed hands, and was very gentle with the piercing process. 10/10 recommend going to Amanda for your piercing needs🥰

Mack’s Tattoos did an amazing job!! They got us in the same day we called (although they were all very small tattoos), and were so friendly. I definitely recommend coming here. Plus their prices were so cheap for the amount of time and effort they put into their work! Amazing!!

Mack himself gave me the BEST walk in tattoo I could ask for. He was able to get me and my friend in fast and at the last minute. He modified the photo I gave them to make it even better! Don’t worry, he asked me what I thought first. 10/10 recommend.

Kyle over at macks tattoo is absolutely Amazing. I wanted a cover up and I knew I wanted a sunflower, I just couldnt picture exactly what it was i wanted. Kyle used his artistic genius and came up with something that was so much more amazing then I could ever imagine. Kyle was able to cover my old tattoo and give me the most spectacular piece of art I could ever dream. I cannot wait to see what he comes up with next. Thank you so much for such a great experience. I recently went to Macks for a large, custom tattoo. My situation required some special accommodations and I was extremely happy with their willingness to go above and beyond to make the entire process as clean and easy as possible. The entire crew is very professional and friendly, and I was immediately impressed with the quality of work they put out. I cant wait to return in a few months to have my tattoo finished. #huglife

Mack did a great job on my daith piercing. Very clean shop, professional artists, follow health code, and extremely nice!Mack was so sweet with me who was very nervous about doing the piercing. He explained everything so well. Was quick, accurate, and gentle (as gentle as you can be!) I will be back for the other side once this side heals!!!

This was my first tattoo and I had the best time! Taylor was so friendly and helpful. She got it done super fast and was able to understand my confusing instructions! All the artists were fun to talk to, the whole shop is just friendly. I will definitely be back!

The people here were nice. I brought my minor daughter in here to get her ears pierced. Employee dropped the F bomb twice while we were in there right in front of my daughter. That was disappointing and annoying. They only take cash……which is just inconvenient. And, they have trashy photos up on the walls. I just didn’t like the atmosphere. Card or Venmo would be nice from a customer standpoint. And…..the piercing was done perfectly. That was nice.

We got a recommendation to stop through Mack’s on our road trip. We had high expectations based on the rec and reviews and the quality and service exceeded that by a long shot. Taylor did beautiful and delicate work on our tattoos exactly like we wanted, and Josuè spent so much time perfecting my piercings. 10/10 would recommend 👍🏻

I came here for a septum piercing yesterday and they pierced it incorrectly. the girl who pierced me was kind and talked me through the whole process, so ill give them some credit there. but i will ultimately need it re-pierced (definitely will go somewhere else for this), which is extremely disappointing as this costed $75 (not including tip).edit: went in to get it looked at and removed, and when i explained the situation to the shop owner he was dismissive and rude, and barely even looked at it before saying everything was fine. i was still able to get it removed though, thankfully. but there goes $75+ down the drain.edit 2: after getting my septum re-pierced elsewhere, i can say with 100% confidence that Macks definitely did mine wrong. im extremely disappointed and will not recommend this place to anyone. it wouldve been one thing if they had just owned up to the mistake the first time. but being treated dismissively and inconsiderately by the shop owner is something completely different. be honest with your clients in the future.

Have three tattoos from the shop by Josué. I love them all, my daughter has two from him as well and she loves them dearly. Mack’s is very clean and friendly! You feel welcomed every time you go in. We are definitely going to get more. Gracias Josué!!! 🙏🏽

I got my tongue pierced at Mack’s tattoos. She pierced it from the bottom which I initially thought was odd but I figured she knew what she was doing. Once I got home I realized my piercing was very crooked like it looked like it had been pierced at an angle. I’m very upset considering I paid for it to be done properly. I would not recommend coming here because it seems like they don’t really care about doing things the right way. Cleanliness was good and everything in that sense but overall, I’m not satisfied!

Olivia was so nice and knowledgable, she did a great job with my earlobes and made sure that I was happy with how they turned out. The place is very clean, friendly, and professional and you can tell they care a lot about proper technique for safe body modification. If I decide to get something else done I will definitely come back :)

I took my girls to Amanda for a nose piercing and ear piercing. She was very gentle with my girls and she explained the process step by step. We will be visiting Amanda again soon at Macks Tattoo!

I really wanted to get some work done here while I was in Cedar City, I was just looking to get my septum pierced and had heard amazing things from friends about the place. Now the store is super clean and well maintained, the artists here do great work and I felt super welcomed and comfortable here. I wasn’t able to get the piercing done because the piercer had a family emergency. (which is totally cool I understand the life happens and I wasn’t upset about that) My only issue came up when no one at the store had contacted me to inform me of this news, after spending 2 hours waiting to hear back from someone about when someone would be in to pierce me I decided to call in and was met with the news. It would’ve been one thing if I hadn’t tried to call ahead to make an appointment or if they hadn’t had my name on the list for that day, but they did and then forget to relay that information to me which was just a little unprofessional to me. Other than that this store is super dope and i’d still recommend it for tattoos.

I honestly have to say that Mack is one to trust when it comes to ink. He is awesome, he is patient, shows dedication to his customers and delivers amazing quality. I got my 5th tattoo today by Mack and all I have to say is Im thrilled with the quality and result. I am excited for my next tattoo in the near future. Thank you Macks tattoo.

We came here on the way back to Los Angeles to get a tattoo to memorialize our awesome trip. This shop was awesome. Taylor our artist was super professional, the shop was crazy clean, and Taylor was super nice and helped us figure out our placements. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

Don’t even try with this place. Everyone is always high and can’t keep it together. It’s messy there, I had to reschedule my appointment like 3 times cause they would just put off making my stencil. It was a pretty simple tattoo so I don’t think it would have taken 3 weeks to make and 3 different appointment changes to make it. Cedar is definitely not the place to get a tattoo either here or bright future.

I went here to get a rook peircing in both ears. When we got there, they were busy with a tattoo, which is fine, so she had us leave our number so she could call us when they were done. Well, they never called back. Not even a text or anything. Its fine that they were busy but it would have been nice to get a text or call that aksed if we could come back the next day or somthing. Really disappointed because everyone said go to macks they are amazing.

I have been tattooed by both Shawn and Mac. They are both awesome people, great artists, and were very collaborative on what I wanted. definitely the most recommended tattoo shop in Cedar! These guys are awesome

Josue Torres was my artist. For my first tattoo I was very picky and was looking for pretty much perfection. He was very patient and helpful. I showed him a sample of what I wanted and he came up with something way better. When he put the stencil on he did it 4+ times because we wanted to get a good image in every angle posible. He captured the “cultura” on my tattoo very well so if that’s what you are looking for Mack’s tattoo shop is the place for you.

Amazing! Did my 2 daughters! - 6 and 16. Handled the little one GREAT! Recommend Jake and Starr!

Ive gotten two tattoos and two daith piercings done here. I like Cody and Sean, but I am not a fan of everyone else at the shop. When Mack did my daith piercings (both ears), he used two different size rings and I didnt realized it until like 2 months later.Couple months later I tried to set up an appointment for a pretty big tattoo. Paid a deposit, told him that I may have to re-schedule if my work wont let me have the day off because I had to schedule with him father in advance than I got my schedule. Couple days after that I called to reschedule but had to leave a message for him. This went on for like a week. Kept calling and leaving messages for him. I even went in to the shop, but of course he wasnt there. I never got a call back and never got the tattoo or my deposit back.My sister has also gone in there and tried to set up an appointment. They said they would call her and let her know??? They never called.Im not coming back here.

Mack’s Tattoos is by far one of the best tattoo shops in Southern Utah. All the artists there are passionate & consistent with the work they put in. I dont know how to rate this place seems how I made a deposit last October. I have visited with the Artist several times only to be assured my drawing will be worked on and its a priority.. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IM NOT GONNA 👉 at ANYONE!! so you can keep the deposit because if it takes this long to get started on a drawing well then....and maybe its my artist and not the shop itself but Im not interested in spending anymore money or time to find out..

Did a walk in tattoo with Taylor. I loved it, she did a great job and was so friendly and nice. I had it on my ribs so it was very painful and she made it as smooth as possible and did a fantastic job, still one of my favorite tattoos!

I had my septum pierced at a different location up north last week. One of the balls fell off of my jewelry, so I went in and Taylor replaced it for me. She was super nice and helped me get it on because it’s still such a new piercing. Thank you!

Favorite place in Cedar! Staff is very welcoming and the shop is clean. Each artist always puts their best efforts to make a perfect piece. Couldnt ask for a better tattoo shop.

Me and my mom went in for a walk in appointment they didn’t have time so we scheduled an appointment for the next day at 1. We texted our artist the night before with a picture and explanation of what we wanted. When we showed up for our appointment we were told that there printer was broken so we’d have to wait for our tattoo a little longer and they’d call us when it was fixed, we obliged and left. We waited until 1:40 and with no call we decided to call them, we were told it was being set up and they’d call when it was finished, again didn’t receive a call so at about 2:30 we decided to just go in and cancel, to our surprise the printer had already been fixed they just didn’t call us to tell us. I may add people were just standing around talking they definitely could have called and had the time too. We decided to cancel our appointment. Everyone was super nice just kinda disappointed that this happened and how unprofessional it was to keep us not only waiting but waiting for an hour and a half PLUS had a fixed printer when we got there the 2nd time.

Absolutely loved it! I got a small cactus on my side hip! Just called a few hours ahead and they worked me and my friends in to get some super cute small tattoos:) wonderful service, highly recommend!

Came in to get a daith piercing. I dont remember the guy that did it yesterday, but he was very professional, he told me what to expect and told me everything that he was doing step by step. He was very informative about the daith piercing. I will be back to get the other daith piercing in the other ear if needed. My husband and I were very pleased with the work that was done. There was a little soreness but nothing painful afterwards. This morning there is no soreness or anything. I cant even tell that it is there. GREAT JOB.

The first thing I noticed was how clean it smelled. We were helped within 30 seconds of entering. I got 2 daith piercings. Very little pain. Good explaining of after care. Reasonable prices. Thank you!!!

Didnt have a great experience at all which was super disappointing after reading the reviews. Didnt get the feeling they really wanted our business. They were friendly therefore get two stars but after two days and making an appointment to get tattoo and still not getting one they only get one star.
