River Rat Tattoos

I have had 2 tattoos and a daith piercing at River Rat Tattoo. All 3 experiences were awesome. The tattoos exceeded my expectations. My most recent tattoo experience was with Grace. I provided her with my vision for what I wanted and her creation was better than what I pictured in my head. She did amazing with the design.I was nervous for the piercing because of thinking it would hurt a lot and Sarah made me feel comfortable and was so efficient with the piercing I barely felt it. Will definitely get another piercing with her.The staff was all awesome and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I’ve gotten all of my piercings done by here by allie, she is always super personable and professional. They have a lot of really great quality jewelry to pick from and aftercare to make it easier. Everything has been a super smooth process and healing, I wouldn’t go to anyone but her.

Got my left nostril done by Allie a few weeks ago. She was super sweet and seemed really friendly. Went over aftercare twice both before and after it was all done just make sure everything was understood. It was overall a great experience and I definitely will be coming back for my next piercing.

Allie pierced my seconds & my thirds about a month ago & i absolutely love them !! she is so personable & easy to talk to !! she is also super precise in her work. i would definitely go back to her & 100% recommend her !!!

Best first tattoo experience ever! Great environment and even better artists! Lex is amazingly talented with fine line work and made my experience super enjoyable. Will definitely come to her again ☺️

Went in to get assistance with my nose piercing due to it falling out while sleeping. Hailey was so gentle and talked me through the entire process. I know where to come once I’m ready to change my piercing.

We had an amazing experience at River Ratt Tattoo in Cibolo, my wife was very concerned about a naval piercing and Allie made sure she understood the process and after care and made her very comfortable with everything...I highly recommend River Ratt and Allie to all my friends and family and we will surely be back.

I absolutely love this place. The people here are so nice and amazing. The young lady who helped us out was great. We will definitely be back in 2 weeks.

Brandon did my dainty neck tattoo and it’s the CUTEST accessory. it didn’t hurt and he was v kind and the vibes were super chill. great music and casual conversations as well. i’ll absolutely come back 🦋🦋

Sarah did my daughter’s ear lobe piercings and did phenomenal. She was sweet, kind, and caring in every aspect. I see Sarah personally for my own ear curation and she never disappoints. She is equally as enthused about the piercing and outcome as you are. The staff is so kind. Sarah’s husband did a tattoo for me and it turned out perfect. I will keep returning for all of my jewelry, piercing, and tattoo needs

Rowan was the best when it came to checking me in. Seriously so sweet and kind. Trevor did my tattoo and I had been looking forward to my appt and he definitely didn’t disappoint. Can’t believe I get to wear such gorgeous art forever. Seriously the coolest staff and the most relaxed place. Couldn’t imagine spending the day in any other shop.

Got my third tattoo at river rat tattoo. The atmosphere at cibolo makes you feel like family. Trevor did my tat and he is amazing. Man cares about his work and everyone there is very talented. Lex did my wedding ring tattoo 2 years ago and it is still awesome. Raphael in the New Braunfels location detail and black and white work is top notch. From the apprentices to the seasoned vets, keep grinding yall. Please support and take care of my river rat fam.

Savannah pierced my 8 year old daughters ears. She was very thoughtful and kind. It is a 16g earring with a flat back which is very nice for sleeping ♡ more expensive than claires,but much better quality, cleanliness and care ♡

Great experience with Lex! Got my second lobes done and she made it super easy. Was there less than 30 minutes. She made sure to go through the after care instructions and was very sweet. I would love to come back for my next piercing! They also have an excellent selection of titanium jewelry.

Had an idea for a piece on my upper arm and thought I was sure of it. After meeting w/ John, he came up with a custom design that was way beyond what I imagined and I was thrilled with the results. Lex was amazing. She was very professional and a great conversationalist. I am glad I finally found a local artist with great talent and that I can trust. They have 2 locations to serve New Braunfels and Cibolo. Check them out, they will not disappoint!

I had to change out my daith, nose and belly piercings due to the jewelery being low quality (got them somewhere else) and because they were old. The girl that helped me was so knowledgeable and gave me high quality service and jewelry! So glad I came across this place and I’m highly likely to go back!

Sarah is an amazing/knowledgeable piercer and Lex is an extremely talented tattoo artist. Both ladies were very friendly and accommodating. This is my new favorite shop and I will be back!

My 14 year old daughter had her nose pierced by Sav!! Best experience we could have asked for. Sav was very informative, answered all my daughters questions, demonstrated and explained how to clean the piercing! Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the experience scheduling, designing and tattooing with river rat. JJ rocks and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Looking forward to the next project we’ve already scheduled.
