Had the absolute best experience here! Ellie’s work is unreal, I am so beyond thrilled with what she made for me. I was blown away by her exquisite craftsmanship/attention to detail. Anyone getting a tattoo from her is in extremely capable hands. The vibe in the shop was pretty casual and I felt comfortable the whole time. Communication was so easy and stress free. I would recommend Studio 65 to anyone I know.

As someone who has never had a tattoo before I cant say ENOUGH good about Studio 65. The customer service is phenomenal, and all the artists were friendly! My tattoo artist Ben was super nice and made sure I knew everything that was going on which made my first tattoo very enjoyable! 10/10 will definitely recommend and will absolutely be returning in the future!

I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from Merry, the first 2 were awesome. The third one fell out a bit but the shop contacted me and gave me a free touch up and now it looks amazing, I definitely recommend this place. I’ll update the recent photo when healed.

Hands down best place ever, made me feel comfortable and walked me through what she was doing. Will definitely be going back even with a 2 hour drive. Already got ideas to get done.

Breauna was AMAZING! 3 of us got very meaningful memorial tattoos that were personalized to each of us and she took the time to make each perfect, and she did a wonderful job on the tattoos themselves. The shop was also sweet!

This was the BEST experience I have had at a tattoo parlor so far. Did not feel awkward walking in, clean, friendly. Very smooth transaction setting up my appointment. Open captured EXATLY and more then what I envisioned! Cant wait to go back. 😘👍

I really like this place. Its very clean and very well decorated. I only had to wait a month to get in for a tattoo with my sister. We went to Gage and he was very chill. I really like how my tattoo turned out.

Im updating my review as of 4/10/24I love studio 65! The people are amazing and supportive. Yes, might be on the spendy side, but you pay for quality and Im happy to support them! Oren did an amazing job on my back tattoo/cover up. She was understanding when I needed to take a break when the spine area was getting a bit too much. Ill laugh at myself, but she was concerned when my legs fell asleep and I couldnt really get off the table without falling into the chair next to me. I love the random conversations and movies/music that keeps the place lively and homely. There is a friendly relaxed atmosphere and they all are so welcoming. Its a fantastic place to be!

Story time; I was booked last year 2023 I was booked for an appointment on this day February 19th, 2024. I put down my $100.00 retainer fee an appointment was gunna be with mary. LONG story short, I show up today and the very kind younger gal was very kind and awesome on helping me so thank you so much. But upon her further inspection she said I had no appointment booked on February 19th, 2024 when I recieved a text messeage saying it. Just food for thought. Wouldnt reccomend this place, and I recieved no refund.

So far, loving the tattoo!! Will check back once healed. Very nice and pleasant Staff. Its a bit pricey.

Made an appointment in March of 2023 for my tattoo I was supposed to get Sept 5, 2023 with Ellie. The night before the appointment I get a text from Ellie asking me to change my appointment to a later time that day or the following Saturday due to family plans for Labor Day. Which was nice to offer but I scheduled this appointment 6 months in advance and even asked when I scheduled it if it was gonna be ok cause it was a holiday. I had my deposit down and everything. Also get a text from the shop a week prior asking me to confirm my appointment which I did. The text stated that I need to give a 48 hour notice if I were to cancel or I would forfeit my deposit. Ellie did offer to come in but made me feel like a jerk for not understand she had plans with her family. I didn’t not get a tattoo due to the way she made me feel. I did get my deposit back. Studio 65 is a beautiful place and everyone else was very kind.

I took my son to this establishment for his 18th bday gift. He wanted a tattoo. The appt process was easy. The staff were all very friendly. The shop itself is decorated in a very unique fashion. The artist that worked with my son was thorough and very professional. This is one of the best tattoo shops I have been to. I highly recommend Studio 65.

My daughter and I got a matching tattoo and Ben did an excellent job. I love it!

Studio 65 is AMAZING! My sister and I were in town and were able to snag an opening due to a cancellation. TJ was our artist and he was tremendous to work with! He walked us through designs and made us feel extremely comfortable, as this was our first tattoo experience. His artwork and attention to detail is outstanding! His personality is fun and chill, making the overall experience a great one! He answered all our questions and provided reassurance when I was super nervous! Very happy with the tattoo and we definitely recommend TJ and Studio 65 Tattoo!

Everyone was welcoming and great! Ezra was amazing and easy to talk to! I designed my tattoo and Ezra brought it to life perfectly. It has great line work and exactly what I wanted. Ill be back for another! They are great artists, and I cant recommend them enough!

Oren is literally magic ! I’ve always preferred small and dainty tattoos and she just does the vision I see. I get so many compliments on my tattoos after healing. She’s very kind and helpful and isn’t afraid of being honest went it comes to details. She’s just so great !

So excited to have my first experience here (coming July 9th). I have talked with Mary on several occasions and she is always super sweet! The new receptionist is very kind and listens to you and gets all the necessary details to schedule an appointment. I have seen the sisters work in person and it is always spectacular!! Can’t wait to get my new piece! 💕

Made an appointment. Got in about 4 months later. Great things come to 5hose who wait... I had Ezra as my artist and Im so thankful they picked him to do my body art. I go back to finish my piece in August and Ill add a photo then. If you are looking for fine detail, Ezra is your guy! So fun to talk to also!

Couldn’t rate this studio the amount of stars it deserves!! 💖 I have found my lifelong artist.I thought about going to Merry for two years, but was scared after my first tattoo experience. I am so thankful I went in and now have 3 tattoos by her and an upcoming appointment for a 4th :) this studio has excellent service from the moment you walk in and you’re greeted by Martha, til you leave with beautiful ink by Merry or Ellie. They are so professional, sanitary, creative, and make it a comfortable and personal experience. Merry was graceful and gentle while working on my pieces and very accommodating to my needs/concerns. My latest tattoo turned out even more beautiful than I asked for or could’ve imagined. Thank you Merry!

Love the Weiss Sisters! They have figured out how to do do the tattoo business the right way. They offer a variety of specials and fundraisers throughout the year. If you use a credit or debit card, be prepared to pay an additional fee. I have had more work by Mary. She is empathetic with customers. Her designs are creatively unique. Both sisters use color intelligently. Their line work is beautiful. Sometimes the music is a bit much for me personally. I would also like to see them offer piercings. However, I am a true Studio 65 fan, and I look forward to many more tattoos received from either of the sisters.

Merry is an AMAZING artist to say the LEAST! Her and her sisters are all kind hearted, and do TOP NOTCH work! Merry’s work is definitely my favorite, but they’re all fabulous. They are incredibly professional, their studio was VERY clean, organized, and well put together! 5 Stars!!

This was my 7th tattoo and was by far the least painful and fastest experience, from design to finish.Gage was awesome and Ill definitely go back to him again.Prices were fair, artists were great, very nice parlour. 11/10 would recommend.

10/10 would recommend this shop!! It’s very laid back while being completely professional at the same time. I went in for a full side piece dedicated to my late father. Merry drew up a design that had everything I wanted. She sat and talked me through the painful two and a half hour session while keeping my mind off the pain. She really connects with her clients! She’ll even let you control the aux cord;)

I loved the place!!! Very nice and understanding what I wanted! I went for my first one and tattoo artist new exactly what I was going for! Helped with ideas for tattoo and took her time. She even made sure I had something to eat sense I didnt eat all day. I know I will be coming back!

Professional, talented, and comfortable are only 3 words that proclaim and label this establishment. The absolute best! They will make you feel like you have finally found home. I got my first tattoo June 12th, 2018 at Studio 65 with the wonderful Merry Weiss. The studio was very clean, Merry was really nice she worked with my idea to give me exactly what I wanted. She was very thorough with explaining after care and the dos and donts of a new tattoo. I would highly recommend Studio 65 and cant wait to go back for more!!

Drove a friend 2.5 hrs to be uniquely tattooed by the extremely talented Merry, & although she has several tattoos, Jenni said shed never go anywhere else again!! She was not only amazed by the design Merry quickly sketched from her telling her what she wanted, but the detail & finished product was beautiful!!

Ellie Weiss did my tattoo. She and Merry would be the only people I would trust to get a tat done. My first tat was from River City and Andy did a horrible job (not to mention took forever bc of all the smoke breaks he needed). My only other tat was done by Ellie (my 2nd tat) and let me tell you- HUGE DIFFERENCE! Such a welcoming, relaxing and private environment. Everything was quite obviously very sterile. Ellie took the time to make sure my tat was exactly where I wanted it before she started. I felt such a better vibe there. Ellie was efficient and precise on my small tat and it came out looking so rad. Everyone should have Studio 65 be their one and only tattoo shop- Ellie and Merry are absolutely amazing at what they do!

Merry has done a few tattoos for me whenever I come to Iowa I have to stop for another!! She is amazing and does exactly what I imagined and sometimes even better! She did my favorite tattoo a picture of my dog that passed and it was so real it makes my heart melt!!! 💕💕💕

Great little hair salon! We get our 1 year old sons hair and our 7 year old daughters hair done and they always do a great job. Awesome prices too!

Super good. Would definitely recommend. I see only like one or two spots that just look slightly off but even those aren’t noticeable I’m just nitpicking at that point. They did a really good job and I had a really good experience with them.
