The service here is amazing! Amber does such a great job! Shes explains everything very well, makes sure that youre happy with the placement, and that you have the proper aftercare instructions. I had both of my helix piercings ($60/each) done with her earlier this ear (the left in January and the right in February), and now she has done bith if my upper lobes and my right conch ($140 for all three)! I will definitely be back foe the next one and recommend her 100%.

I had my first Tattoo done not knowing what to expect. I booked with Shane and he was awesome. Made sure everything was perfect.I dont know if it was me or he had a good had but hardly any pain. Loved it. Will be back for another one. Cant appreciate the work good since it has a bandage they put.

I have gotten ink twice w/ Sena ( she’s the best!) & now piercings also.Malenna was fantastic! Personable and professional. I got double tragus piercings. Matt & Shane were very personable and answered questions. The facility is amazing and very clean also.

Shane is amazing! He’s the only person I go to for tattoos and his work definitely speaks for itself. He takes so much pride in his pieces and will make you love your tattoo! I highly recommend him!

Fantastic shop. Clean, friendly staff, excellent artists. James has been working on my full color upper arm tattoo purposely not wanting any black. I can’t explain how good he actually is. Works on his canvas while treating you like his favorite client. I went in wanting the birthday flowers of my grandbabies and he killed it. Going back next month to finish up. I love this shop more than any I’ve ever been in!

I followed them for a couple months and am very happy with their work. I had my daughter’s ears pierced there (age 10). They were very nice clean and handled her fear of getting it done so well.Today I had a tattoo from Chandler. He is a truly an exceptional artist. You can say Im biased, but I have yet to see ink that comes close to the heart, soul, and talent that went into this.The amount of detail he managed to put in this beautiful piece.. its unmatched. It looks like someone plucked a rose from the bush and placed it on a human heart.He took my very basic inspiration pic and turned it into a complete masterpiece.

From the second I walked in it was a blast I expected to get my tongue repierced as I had not worn a ring in 5 years. She looked at me and said no piercing needed 20 for the ring. She got more business right away. Amber was amazing and so were the shop people. Ended up getting a second ear piercing for the trouble

I have been wanting to get a band tattoo for a very long time, but had backed out of it a few other times due to artist judgment and a friend talking me out of it. When I originally walked into The Painted Rose, I worried I was going to get more judgment, but I received none. During my session, I explained to James that I wanted my tattoo to be just a bit different and he helped my vision come to life. James is really cool, really chill and laid back. I will be going to James from now on for any future tattoos Ill be getting and Im telling everyone about him!!

Had the best experience from the time we walked in until we walked out. My artist was Aaron Fields and he was so professional and caring. He took his time with making sure I was 100% happy with placement and design. He has a great personality and know how to make you feel comfortable during the entire process. Not to mention his work is amazing! I’ve waited years to find the right person/place, and I will absolutely be going back!

My first tattoo was a great experience! I highly recommend the people over at ThePainted Rose Gallery! Matt made sure to keep everything clean and neat and I had peace during the whole process. I’ve been to the painted rose twice now once for a tattoo and once for a piercing, both times have been wonderful! The staff has been very professional and is very knowledgeable about their craft. They have always treated me well and answered any and all questions I had. My most recent trip was to get my ears pierced for the first time and Malenna was super awesome! I go back next month to have it finished up and cant wait to show it off! He made my sister and I feel very comfortable as we were there for about 7 hours. Sorry, but this is going to be long!! First time getting a tattoo, so I was extremely nervous. I’m a senior lady, and on blood thinners, so that was a concern as well. I was also apprehensive because this was a matching tattoo I was getting with a very special person in my life and it had to be right! Went in a few weeks early and spoke with Painted Rose to tell them what tattoo we were considering and they matched us with Patience. We immediately felt super comfortable with Patience and booked our appt. Didn’t sleep the night before from being so nervous, but let me tell you, Patience is one of those people who has a true kindness about her!! She showed us a couple of designs using our idea, tweaked it just a bit, picked the size we wanted and we were ready. Let me say, I was extremely thankful that Patience was NEVER in a rush; she prepped her space like she was going to perform surgery!! Being in the medical field I that was very important to me! After we were both finished, we took some great pics of our beautiful watercolour tattoo! I am so in love with it. Patience is an amazing artist and just an all around great person!!!

Shane was great. I got a Tattoo for my granddaughter who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. He did an outstanding job. I will be going back to him to complete my sleeve and other work I want done.

Got my first deer harvest and Brazos rain lilies tattooed by Patience! She’s super freakin sweet and the rest of the staff is fantastic! I cannot wait to go back and get the shading and color done! The whole place is so clean, organized, welcoming, and Patience has a killer music playlist while you get tattooed!

I only got small tattoo and it was my first one(def wont be my last) so I dont really know how long they are supposed to be, but it was so quick! Shane Dake is an amazing artist. I have had several pieces from him and he has fixed or covered up a couple as well. He listens to what the customer wants and makes sure that you are happy with the sketch before anything is done. I will always recommend him to anyone I know! His line work is always amazing.

Let me tell you guys something. James has been the best. We are nearly complete on a full right arm sleeve. James has been amazing. Attention to detail. Specifically placing items on the arm. Keeping things realistic looking with it being black work. When I went to James I had a totally different theme in mind for my arm. We did a total 360 from that. He met with me. Listened. Then provided amazing design/layout ideas. I couldn’t be happier. My guy has a light hand. I haven’t even been able to tell he is tattooing me for the most part. I’m telling you see James ! This shop is awesome. The shop collaborates with each other. Truly a team setting. Chill place. Good people.

James is hands down one of the best out there. He fixed a previous tattoo of mine and made it come alive, and recently just completed a full sleeve on my arm. If you come in with an idea but not sure how to fully articulate what you want or how you want it done, he will work with you step by step through the entire process to get you what you want. The studio itself is a highly clean place and makes you feel at home. 10 out of 10, highly recommend it for anyone looking to get some ink therapy done.

Had such an incredible experience! Went in for a tongue piercing and found out I couldnt get one safely thanks to the wonderful piercer (Amber) who checked my anatomy and made sure it was safe for my mouth before going forward. Got a Labret piercing instead after a few last minute moments of changing my mind 😭 I appreciate the patience Amber had so much and she was so awesome throughout the whole process! The entire experience with Aaron Fields is something you wont forget.I consulted with Aaron on an idea for my hands to represent balance with plants, he took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and even help brainstorm ideas. When you come in for your tattoo, he has silly and entertaining videos on the very large screen in his studio space, music playing, and a very comfortable atmosphere. He will joke, and if you want to talk, he will get to know you like you are old friends. His artwork is amazing, and he will make sure its exactly what you want before you leave. He will schedule any touch-ups, and follow up to see how youre healing. Aaron is now my designated tattoo artist after these last two experiences. Ive had 22 tattoos done, and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else now.Give the place a shot, its a great environment with great people.

I dont know who makes the hiring decisions around there, but bringing Sena on to the team was the best decision theyve ever made. Shes a Rockstar! You know youve got something special when people drive past other shops and from other cities to get inked by her.

My husband and I recently had my 10 year old niece and her best friend over the weekend. We were shopping downtown and one of the girls randomly asked about getting a tattoo. On a whim, my husband went in and asked if they had temporary tattoos. I figured they would laugh and send us on our way but, boy, was I wrong! They welcomed us in the salon with open arms and worked with each girl to custom design their very own temporary tattoo! It was such a fun & unique experience and the girls LOVED it! The owner didn’t even want to charge us but we insisted on paying for his time.The shop is clean and thoughtfully designed, the people are friendly, and the art work on the walls is worth seeing.I don’t have plans now to get a permanent tattoo but I’ll be going there if and when I do!

This experience wasn’t only a total vibe and absolutely dope, but I’m so in love and obsessed with my tattoo! The color saturation is beautiful and the line work is crisp! Just go here. I’ve done it twice. You won’t regret it. I travel from out of state and this is the place I go.

Ive gotten two tattoos from James, and hes AMAZING! Both experiences with him were great. He really made my ideas come to life. The ghost of my dead cat on my wrist came out awesome, and it was especially flattering how much he liked my design for my second tattoo. It was even better how he made that one come to life. Chanler did an awesome job on my tattoo, and I was impressed with the studios cleanliness and the welcoming attitude of the staff. Ive had a few bad experiences in the past with tattoo artists being unnecessarily rude, which has made me kind of hesitant but that was the exact opposite of what I experienced at The Painted Rose. Ill surely be back soon for more work.

For the past few weeks Ive been working with Chanler on an idea I had to cover up an old tatoo I got 28 yrs ago. All I can say is, WoW!!Did he ever come through. One of the best shops I’ve been to and ran very well. They also have the awards to back it up. They care as much about the tattoo looking good as the client. Had an idea of what I wanted and worked with James. He drew the idea out and it was better than I imagined. Finally got the color in and can’t wait for it to heal.

If you are not Scheduling your next Tattoo with Cody Campbell, you should really second guess yourself. His design work is amazing, and unique. His color design was breathtaking. The finished product was better than anything I could have ever expected. I have already started planning my next with Cody. The Painted Rose is super nice, clean and comfortable. I made be older than most when getting my first two tattoos from James (just turning 58) but he designed both from general ideas I’ve given him and I couldn’t be happier. The shop is amazing and the other employees I met couldn’t have been more inviting. I’m sure when I get inspiration for my next one, James will bring it to life too. You’re never to old.

James did an amazing job! He was very easy to talk to and was sure I was comfortable the whole time. He didn’t know this, but I graduated cosmetology school the day before and my dad passed away the summer before my senior year of HS and so this tattoo meant so much to me. It is a copy of my dads handwriting saying love you congrads (he always spelled it with a d instead of a t). When I look at it I simply see my dad’s handwriting and it reminds me of how proud he is of me so thank you so so much James for my favorite tattoo. We will definitely be back for more!

I went in today to see Aaron for a floral face tattoo and he absolutely killed it! He is professional and the overall atmosphere is inviting.I can’t wait to come back and get several pieces done at The Painted Rose.These guys have some astonishing skills and I can’t wait to watch them flourish.

It was my first time going up to The painted rose and it was wonderful and full of nice people. I went with my mom and my husband, we got our tattoos done by Aaron and Cody. I personally always go to Aaron because I trust him with all of my tattoos. My mother got a blue heart in the memory of her father that has passed away. My husband got a spartan with the words come and take it in greek on his back and he is very proud of it. He is a marine and told me the spartans were the original marines. Both me and my husband got out wedding date on our arms. I want to thank both Cody and Aaron for creating our tattoos, they did an amazing job and I will always recommend them! Thank you for creating a moment for all of u, especially my mom, she has wanted to get that for a long time. So thank you Aaron for the beautiful job of your work. Cody did an amazing job for the tattoo on my husbands back, and in fast time. I will always be getting my tattoos from Aaron.

I first found Chanler around 6 years ago when I was looking to get an old, ugly shoulder tattoo covered up. That cover-up went so well, and the new ink he did for me was totally badass, I had him cover up an old, ugly ankle tattoo after that. Since then, I’ve always gone back to Chanler for other new tattoos. We are currently working on completing a colorful full sleeve for me. Whether its people or pets, I think Chanler’s black and white portrait tattoos are his specialty. But, since Chanler has been tattooing for awhile now, you can tell he has mastered some very diverse skills and could probably pull off just about any technique or design you ask him to. If you are wanting to invest in a quality piece of tattoo artwork so good that it will have strangers coming up to you and telling you how awesome your tattoo is, I recommend you contact The Painted Rose and ask for Chanler! Although there are several other really talented artists working there too, they even do permanent makeup! The new studio is big, bright and clean and I feel like it’s well worth the drive to historic downtown Cleburne to support these guys and this small business.
