I recently this shop in Cocoa Beach and had an outstanding experience. The owner was friendly, professional, and managed to fit me in the same day. The shop was clean and welcoming, far from the gimmicky vibe of some touristy spots. They have reasonable prices and excellent service, so I recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo in Cocoa Beach. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 (little Ziggy Stardust tattoo knocked out in a few minutes ⚡️)

10/10 had a wonderful experience with Todd.I had a walk in tattoo done and am extremely happy with it. The space was so clean, the jokes and laughing, it was an all over amazing time.The artwork itself is beautiful and I will definitely travel back for my next tattoo.

Todd does beautiful work and has a dope vibe! My daughter asked for her first tattoo and I told her I would take her anywhere. She researched multiple places in multiple states and decided Todd was the right person. Her intuition is on point always and this time is no exception. I went in speaking about wanting a really small tattoo as my first tattoo. I shared some interests. He took time to explore what I was after. I ended up with the most beautiful piece ever! The overall experience was fab! My tattoo artist is definitely better than yours!

Todd was my artist and was AMAZING!! I had a walk-in appointment and he was still so fast, precise, and helpful. He gave me advice on size, placement, and design and if he did not do so, I would not love my tattoo as much. It’s already healing super quickly and it’s been less than a week. I’m so sad I was just on vacation and not from the area because I would definitely be a regular! I felt comfortable and cared for the entire appointment. Could not have had a better experience.

I’ve gotten several tattoos at 13 Waves, and I’ve taken family there, and it’s the best shop in the area. All of the artists are amazing and the owner, Jes, is very passionate about tattoos and tattooing and makes sure only the best quality tattoos are done in his shop. The staff will be honest with you when you present an idea for a tattoo and will let you know if it will work in tattoo form. They’ll let you know if the size, placement or colors that you’re requesting will work or not and will offer suggestions for alternatives if needed. Take their advice! They want you to have an awesome tattoo and have the experience to know what’s best. I highly recommend going to 13 Waves if you’re wanting to get a tattoo.

My husband and I made appointments with Todd. I gave him a picture of a drawing that my son had done years before and he duplicated it perfectly. Todd and my husband (with Todd doing most of the work!) came up with a combination of a cover up, surfer and reaper, all in one! We love them both. Professional, clean, friendly and quality work. You can tell Todd is a true artist and loves his job!

My GF and I stopped in to each get a small tattoo and Skylar did a great job. I had another in mind and so I asked her to design it for me. She did a great job in both the design and in putting it on my back. She is my artist from now on. I highly recommend her and her work. Thanks Skylar!

I recently went on a cruise and on our last day before heading home to WA, they squeezed me, my mom, sister and brother in as walk ins for quick tattoos. Phenomenal service and over all amazing atmosphere! Will definitely come back again if Im ever back in Florida

The owner was really friendly and helpful securing our walk in. Had 2 clean $150 tattoos drawn up and inked very efficiently in just two hours. The artist was a proper gent, and skilled at his craft. The atmosphere/service was genuine and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend 😌

This shop is AWESOME! We came in on a day where they were doing flash tattoos and they had so many great options! Jes did my tattoo so quickly and he was really friendly the whole time, it was definitely the least painful tattoo I’ve ever had as well so that was a plus! Cannot recommend these guys enough!!

First off this place definitely passed the vibe check! I came here with my best friend who had a tattoo appointment with the owner, Jes. While I was sitting with her, Jes and my friend convinced me to get a tattoo as well. My tattoo was done by Todd and I am so pleased with how it came out! I am extremely type A so spontaneously getting a tattoo is not exactly the norm for me, and I was sooo nervous! I have a low pain tolerance however Todd made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. He was able to take a few different ideas of designs I liked and create something truly beautiful. Todd is such gifted artist and is truly passionate about what he does. Since we were there on a Tuesday afternoon, my friend and I pretty much had the shop to ourselves and spent the majority of our day with Jes & Todd. There was never a dull moment, they made us feel right at home and kept us laughing the entire time. They even picked up lunch for us to make sure we had food and water! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. 10/10 recommend, I will be back for my next tattoo

Oh my gosh. Where to start?! Hubs and I decided (very) last minute to get couple’s tattoos for our 6th anniversary. A quick google search pointed us to 13 Waves Tattoo Shop but when we arrived both of the artists were with someone and another couple was waiting before us. I’ve never been to a tattoo shop with an on-call artist but here we were. We felt bad they called Jason in, especially being towards the end of the night, but we were excited when he came without question. He was amazing! He drove half an hour for us and his personality was light and fun the entire time. He never once made us feel bad for him coming in late, our tattoo choice, or the fact that the designs we found were part of their flash sale. He treated us respectfully and professionally and even told us how much he appreciated us coming in and supporting their business. It’s no wonder why this place has a straight 5 star rating with thousands of reviews! We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Cocoa Beach. Thank you Jason!!!!

My fiancé and I came in and wanted to get a G.O.T. couples forearm tattoo. Jason Nolan was the artist and it was the first time we met him. The shop was very clean and everyone there was professional. He was amazing and was able to draw up something unique for us. He was knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. We were so impressed and happy with the tattoo that I booked with him again for the following week for a cover up and it turned out amazing! I originally had my ex’s initials on my wrist and he was able to cover it with the butterfly I wanted. Not only did I find a great artist, but I now consider him a friend! Will definitely recommend him and the business to family / friends!

We had been to another shop down the street and the folks there seemed a bit tweaked so we came down here to 13 waves where we met Jason. He’s a cool dude who was super professional and didn’t bat an eye when we asked for 5 tattoos between 4 people. All 5 came out super clean and we’re all super happy. I was searching for a particular style and found Schon & 13 Waves. Based on the previous reviews and his work, then upon meeting, felt totally comfortable getting my work done here.And Schon did not disappoint! He takes pride in his art, and it turned out amazing. Love it! Hammered it out in 1 session too, pretty much 6 hours straight.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.First, customer service from everyone I have ran into has been by far the best. Which is a plus in my books because it brings a really great atmosphere. Very welcoming and understanding.Next, I asked for a few line work request to possibly build on. Skylar was able to not only perform, but squeeze me in her schedule in a timely manner.I’m beyond ecstatic with the results and my interaction with Skylar has been amazing!I am also going back to her to add more to my leg piece.I had to share how special it was because she is the first Female Tattoo Artist that has done art on me and I am over the moon!!! 🩵I am proud to say I have finally found my tattoo artist, just sad I have to leave next month!I would highly recommend Skylar and 13 Waves Tattoo for your next tattoo fix!

This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had at a tattoo shop. Not only was the shops cleanliness above par, the artists inside the shop were extremely professional and their work speaks for it. Not to mention the first shop I’ve been to whoever was in charge of the climate control was spot on. Not too hot, not too cold. My 92 year old friend told me she wanted a tattoo over a year ago and she wanted me to get one with her. Well I waited that year and she didn’t forget about it so after her 92nd birthday, today we went to 13 waves tattoo in Cocoa Beach and she got a beautiful watercolor butterfly on her arm and I have a beautiful day easy on my wrist.I cannot say enough about Jason and the tattoo artist. He is truly an artist and a gentleman! He was an absolute angel and professional and again I don’t have words to say how good he is at his job and how good he is with people. For the boys entire lives we have been driving over to Coco for family vacations. This year we wanted to get a group tattoo to commemorate but had a very hard time finding someone interested or avail. The staff at #13waves were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating and booked up down for 4 tattoos that day. We all got the same lil tattoo and am so pleased with the results. Wen we visit again we will be back for more ink. While I got mine done the staff let my boy even rock out on one of the guitars on the wall. They liked his playing so went in back and came out and amped him up. We walked in our tattoo artist was already ready with our design ! We had booked an appointment online as we are from 16 hours away ! We had heard so much great reviews ! The artist took his time and was super professional! Definitely recommend!!!

Visited coco beach and chose this shop based on ratings. Upon walking in for tattoos with my friend we were greeted by the owner who said he’s not working today but he’ll take us at 4 anyway. At our appointment he came off very cocky, arrogant and rude. I understand advising us using experience and knowledge and appreciated that aspect but he was so condescending in his approach. Yet we still trusted him and went through with the tattoos which was our own fault. He took less then half an hour for 2 tattoos each.. both rushed and poorly done tattoos that a week later have spots where the ink has disappeared. We both have prior experience with proper care of tattoos so it’s not the home care. We got our tattoos done the night before leaving. This is where this gets crazier. We told Jes we would be leaving the next day during this appointment. By the end of the appointment we were ready to go paid, and left. That night just after 8:15pm we realized we never got our ID’s back. We rushed to the shop and no one was there. Knowing we had a flight to catch in the morning in a panic we tried to reach out to the shop owner via social media. To no avail we then asked shops in the plaza if they knew anyone that worked in the shops. Long story short we spent over an hour and a half tracking down someone who worked in the shop. He arrived with a infant and apologized for the mistake and said his boss isn’t answering but he’ll get them from inside. Once he went inside he couldn’t find our ID’s anywhere. Finally jes the owner calls this guy back and says HE TOOK OUR ID’s HOME WITH HIM! We where all in SHOCK. He had all our information on the waivers we signed before being tattooed including both of our numbers.. and instead choose to take our id’s home!? Not reach out!? 10minutes later he shows up and hands us our ID’s didn’t apologize at all and said “well you guys left them there I figured you’d reach out”. Mind you we didn’t just leave them there we never received them back when he was suppose to make a copy & it slipped our mind. We shouldn’t of had to ask for them back we should of got them back right away. But he was in such a rush to get us in and out. It was the worst shop experience ever and the owner is unprofessional and I wouldn’t advise anyone to go to him. The work we seen from other artist there was great & there’s definitely talent there. But stay far away from the owner if u value your money, time and want a quality tattoo that will last.

The whole staff are wonderful people, very charismatic and easy to talk to. Jason was my artist and is absolutely amazing at what he does. Very gentle, caring, funny, and again, easy to talk to. It turned out amazing, exactly how I wanted it to be. Jimmy did my partners tattoo, squeezing them in when time was short, very kind guy. Skyler didn’t work on our tattoos, but she is very funny and sweet. Great place 💗

Jason was incredible. Excellent work. The design turned out better than I expected. He took his time and put his passion into the piece. The shop was neat and clean. Each station was well organized and the atmosphere was perfect. I dont live locally, but will definitely make the trip for future work!

There were 4 of us that decided to get tattoos at the end of our girl’s trip to commemorate our amazing time celebrating my 40th birthday. I had been in contact with this established while on our cruise in hopes of booking an appointment for us all. They were totally understanding about us not wanting to book before we got back due to the uncertainty of our return due to hurricane Ian. The day we got back to port I called and was able to get us all in with Skylar. She did AMAZING work on all 4 of us. She was professional, curious, and educated us on ideal placement for our tattoos. I am moving to Florida next month, and will drive the 1.5 hours from my new home to go here and have more tattoos done by them. Everyone there was fantastic and so nice. I can’t wait to get another tattoo done there!

We were visiting from out of state and stumbled across this tattoo shop while out shopping. It was our anniversary weekend so spur of the moment we decided to get couple tattoos. We were welcomed right in with no appointment scheduled and was immediately seen (super impressive). Jason did our tattoos and was AMAZING! Hands down the best artist. Five stars because of Jason Nolen and the facility. At another shop in the area, I was told my piece couldnt be done. Sometimes, all that really means is I cant do that. I reseearched 13 Waves and started with the bad reviews because I appreciate honesty and how people respond to feedback. Jason looked at the image, listened to the slight changes I wanted, made suggestions that aligned with the meaning behind the symbolisms. He is truly a professional! Im not from the area, but I have family here and I would definitely consider making trips to have him design and execute my l entire leg. The only drawback of yesterday was the negative vibes from the other artist. I hope he was just having an off day and thats not the normal environment.

Absolutely love my tattoo! All I asked for was a simple birthday tattoo for my daughter. The guy who helped me out was Jason, we was very professional and nice. Honestly low key the worst place to get a tat! I hate to be rude. But homeboy who tatted me was really friendly but my tattoo sucks lol I went back to get it freshen up a couple months after it’s original and it’s still so bad! My tattoo was simple and I have gaps in between the lining and it’s hell of uneven.

I came to Aces High Cocoa and got my FIRST tattoo! Their shop is open, bright, CLEAN and welcoming. The Entire staff is so friendly. Gambit was so awesome, friendly and extremely talented. Coming to Aces High for my first tattoo was such an incredible experience - I will definitely come back to Gambit for any future tattoos. He made me feel comfortable and his line work is gorgeous!

I had Schon Blount do roses and swallows on both of my shoulders. Not only is he a phenomenal artist, very clean, professional and makes you feel comfortable and confident with the whole process. The location was very clean, and they take extra care to make sure everyone is safe with the pandemic. I took a lot of time chosing a studio and artist. I can absolutely say I will be back for my next tattoos, and am extremely satisfied with the entire process. There artists all have a different style and depending on what you are looking for you will find the perfect match.

I walked in and asked if the could put never stop dreaming in Disney letters on my forearm/wrist with some pink blue and purple watercolors in the background and it came out better than I could have imagined. Wow! I went in to get a tattoo covered up. After being told no at other locations I had low expectations. After my consultation with Jes, he said he could do it and listened to what I wanted.
