First, I have to start by saying thank you.The tattoo my friend and I requested, although seemingly simple and/or basic was not treated as such.The time and care Kerwyn provided in the design, size and placement of “just” a semicolon was beyond anything I’ve experienced before.It was important to us, so it was important to him.I am so pleased with the outcome and so grateful that this very small, yet very significant tattoo was created and imprinted by an amazing artist with an amazing soul!Thank you Kerwyn for making us laugh so much! You are an exceptional artist and I look forward to working with you in the future!

For my 1st tattooing experience it was amazing. The time and care that was put in to make sure I was happy was unmatched. Kerwyn was very professional and extremely willing to educate me on how to make my ideas for my tattoo come out better then I could of expected also the proper skin care for after. You can tell with speaking with Kerwyn that he loves his work. 100% will be back.

Yesterday I went into resurrection to get my first tattoo on my 18th birthday. I had the BEST experience from start to finish. I came to him with a complex idea in mind that was custom and designed by myself. As complicated as my requests were, he was so patient and understanding. He sat with me for about 3 hours just designing and making a sketch for me. I would change my ideas and he would listen and design it perfectly. The process of getting the tattoo was flawless. He was professional by showing me all the sterile items and making sure I was always comfortable when getting worked on. I am so appreciative for his patience and understanding, 10/10 recommend. He made my birthday so special and something I will always remember. I’m so happy to have had someone that would bring my idea to life and be patient with my complex ideas. Thank you kerwyn!! The pricing was super reasonable given the time and effort he put in to make my piece incredible.

Bob the piercer is the best. Very nice and professional, showed me the new needle and new piercings in their own sterile bags. Made two dots on my ear lobes where he would pierce and checked with me to make sure I liked the placement. Quick, painless, and efficient. Bob was a professional from the moment I walked in to when i walked out. Would recommend everyone to come here for all their piercings.

The crew at Resurrection is amazing! I have gotten many piercings here and my friend got tattooed. Bob is amazing and I love all of my piercings! They are very conscientious of their work and make sure you are completely satisfied. They are extremely patient, so dont worry if this is your first piercing or tattoo because they will be right there with you holding your hand. I had the best piercing experience here. let me start by saying I came in as a walk in and even though Bob the piercer left already, with one call, he came back to the store just to pierce me! We took our 4 month old daughter and 5 year old niece to get their ears pierced by Bob the Piercer. As a mom, I was very nervous, but as soon as we walked in Bob made us feel SUPER comfortable and was very personable. The store itself was extremely clean which my sister-in-law and I really appreciated, and all equipment used was single use and clean. I had a few moms recommend a popular piercing shop in Port Washington for infant piercings, but their standard is single use cartridges, which I didn’t like. Bob used needles which are always best! Overall highly recommend Resurrection Tattoo for all parents looking to get their children’s ears pierced.

Brought my 7 year old daughter to get her ears pierced by Bob. Let me start by saying we were greeted at the front right away, everyone was soooo kind and welcoming (especially Kerwin) my daughter instantly felt at ease bc they were making her laugh and just being really friendly and supportive (knowing she’s young and prob nervous) Bob was very gentle and informative, he was able to pierce her with no problem and she HATES needles but I think the extremely positive atmosphere totally helped her nerves. I will recommend this place to all my friends ❤️ I also got my nose pierced & barely felt it, that experience was great as well: this place is a 10/10.

The shop is super clean and the staff makes you feel super welcome. Kerwyn did my tattoo as well as a couple of my best friends within the same night. He spent ample time getting the font, sizing, and placement to my exact liking and asked me many questions so he could make sure I got it exactly how I wanted but also gave his professional opinion. He is very down to earth. He made her and I feel super comfortable and kept cracking jokes so I wouldnt be nervous. Through the whole process he kept checking in on me to make sure I was okay because he could tell I was a bit nervous (only my second tattoo). The tattoo came out AMAZING as very small but detailed single line tattoos arent the easiest. He makes sure to explain the aftercare to you and answered my 5,000 questions without hesitation. He also has great pricing and the shop excepts walk-ins (which we were) I will be going back here for all my future tattoos without any hesitation!!!

My friends and I came in for matching tattoos. I previously had a really negative experience at a different shop and expressed this from the jump. Kerwyn was reassuring, funny, gentle with the tattoo, and kept good conversation throughout. He consistently checked in with us all to make sure we were happy with the stencil, the position, the size, etc. He also took his time with us, we came in at 6 and he spent hours with us, past closing, to make sure all of our tattoos were perfect. He’s extremely professional, checks in to see if you’re doing okay through out the tattoo, is very detail oriented, and one of the many amazing perks; light handed barely any pain other then the expected in those hurtful spots). I highly recommend going to him and if he’s not there or unavailable his co workers are amazing as well. The shop is extremely clean and the environment is always comforting. Will 100000% be back. I cannot recommend this shop enough! My parents and I had planned on getting matching tattoos and soon as we walked in, we could tell we made the right decision to go to Resurrection. The environment was clean and safe, the crew was welcoming, friendly and beyond chill, and we felt right at home. Kerwyn was our tattoo artist and to even call our experience with him “top-notch” would be an understatement - it was obvious he was a true professional, but he also made us laugh and feel comfortable. I traveled from Harlem after receiving a glowing review of Kerwyn from friends. We had a lovely chat and designed a beautiful tattoo, the work True to form. The icing on the cake is the incredibly fair pricing- about 200$ cheaper than the tiny tattoos I got in the city! 10/10 love this place, and would be coming back for another if I wasnt moving out of the country!

I’ve never had a bad time at Resurrection Tattoo. This is the first place where I would trust everyone in the shop with my skin! The shop is clean, the atmosphere is super friendly, and of course the best part is the original artwork coming out of this shop.I’ve gotten about a dozen tattoos done here and I’ve never been disappointed. Karl has done most of my tattoos and he’s one of the kindest guys I’ve ever met. Since sometimes you have to spend a few hours in the chair, it’s nice to know.I’m a huge fan of this place and the artists who work here. I always come back.

My friend and I went here a week ago to get our cartilage pierced by Bob. The experience was great! We made the last minute decision to do this at 9 p.m. and Bob came in just to pierce us. Both of us had never had any other piercings beside lobes, but the entire tattoo parlor was making jokes to make us comfortable. Bob marked our ears with a sharpie to let us see where it would go and gave us the advice on where it would look best. He also specifically showed us our needle. He showed it in the bag and to remind us that it was sterile only ever used for us. He gave us his number in case we had questions after the piercing, which was really nice. It was very comfortable, VERY clean, and painless. Also, I watched one of the artists do a tattoo while my I got my piercing done and he seemed great at what he did too. 10/10 will go back and recommend.

I literally found this place by luck of the draw. But let me tell you it’s amazing. Great atmosphere, tattoo artist are very knowledgeable about the craft and willing to come up with concepts with you and accomplish your vision. Kerwyn is the best. I would steer clear of this place. My daughter got her nose pierced TWICE. First time she developed a keloid and the nose ring had to be removed. Second time it fell out after 5 days. Her nose was so sensitive and it was too painful to put it back in. Asked the owner for a refund on the last piercing. He gave me a verbal OK over the phone. When I got to the store to collect the refund he had a change of heart and refused to issue the refund. Needless to say I disputed the charge with my bank. Horrible experience. Never again.

Love this place! They used to be Asylum but they changed the name. Staff is still the same and super friendly. Karl has done 4 of my tattoos most recent this past Friday for the Friday the 13th specials and I have never been disappointed in the slightest. Also super clean in the shop.There is no one else I’d rather go to as long as he is still tattooing. I recommend the shop any time someone asks about one of my tattoos and always will.

My first experience with this shop was when they pierced my sons ear. I didnt want the trauma with a piercing gun so we went for a real shop. They explained everything and talked him through it. Let him pick out the earing. Overall great experience!Against my better judgment I went to a different shop recently for my own medusa piercing. I wanted it right then and there and the other shop was cheaper and took walk ins. I guess you get what you pay for. I wont name the shop but this women DESTROYED my lip and used way to short of a barbell. Five days later and the ball she put on the inside was no longer visable and was lodged inside my upper lip. (Idk why she used a ball and not a plate). I called Resurrection who agreed to see me despite not having done the original piercing. Karl was so amazing and took his time to replace the jewelry with much less pain than I had expected. I will never go anywhere else for a piercing again. Shop is so clean and staff really care!!

Texted for a nose piercing appointment and was able to get in same day. Clean, professional, quick and efficient. My nose is already healed. The piercer was funny, chill and made the whole process seamless and painless. Highly recommend.

Resurrection was super clean, Kerwyn made a point to show us that the tools he was using were new and sanitary, as well as took time to follow COVID sanitizing protocols in between each of us. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our visit and I would highly recommend Kerwyn and Resurrection!

I walked into this shop for the first time to get some ear piercings and I expected to walk out not getting exactly what I wanted done tbh. But Bob - The Piercer - reassured me that what I wanted to get is possible. He was very patient with me too. To all the doubters out there - Can he pierce it? YES, HE DEFINITELY CAN. I went to progressive tattoo to get a nose piercing, the piercer De used an earring to pierce my nose after I explicitly asked him if the rings were meant for your nose. He then refused to take my nose ring out and didn’t tell me how I could take it out myself. I was crying and he told me I was being annoying. I went to resurrection tattoo and Bob fixed my piercing for me for only the price of the jewelry. I will definitely be coming here for the rest of my piercings/tattoos.

This tattoo shop is a great place to visit if your looking to get great tattoos with reasonable prices. They have an upbeat and positive atmosphere from wen u walk in the door to wen u leave, i would suggest this shop to anyone that r looking to get tatted. They constantly attend to u thru out the tatt session, making sure that ur alright or if u need a break, and they can keep a convo goin so that u r never bored or feeling awkward during the session. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN LINES!!!!!!!!! All of the artist there can tattoo even as a walk in your waiting to get work done so don’t expect an empty booth. Safe to book appointments the shop is busy on a regular !!!! Not a fan of waiting so do yourself a favor and book ahead of time !!!!

Came here once for a touch up and had such a great experience I never left!! I’ve gotten tattoos from both Karl & Kerwyn and pierced from Bob. They do it all!!

I walked into the shop and the girl at the front wasn’t wearing a mask. She asked to take my temperature and I asked if she could put on a mask before I come close. She seemed beyond frustrated with me but obliged. My friend and I waited outside for our appointment and when the piercer came he was not wearing a mask either. I didn’t even get back through the door before the girl at the front desk said to me “how do you expect you get your nose pierced with a mask on? If you don’t have a mask on why should the piercer? Why should he feel comfortable if you’re not wearing a mask” I told her to have a great night and left. working as an esthetician in a pandemic I’m very protective of myself and my clients, hoping to make them feel safe. Maybe this shop would be great at another time but not in a Pandemi Lovato

I absolutely recommend resurrection tattoo, I got a couple tattoos from them and they all have came out amazing and I love them, my favorite one is my grandfathers memory tattoo. I go to them for everything and I always leave happy. 10/10 recommend.

In all honesty, the picture speaks for itself.this is how a simple 5 line tattoo has healed. done by the owner (kerwyn sutton).when asked why my tattoo was healing the way it was in the early stages (black & bruised) his response was to keep putting lotion on it & that tattoos take up to 1 year to heal.the only reason i trusted his advice was because he did my other 2 tattoos (black ink) & they turned out fine. im not sure what went wrong with this one. he blames me for not healing it properly but this looks like scarification, as if he dug way too deep in my skin when performing the tattoo.** dont mind the scab thats there, i had to go to a dermatologist to get a biopsy.

Kerwyn and karl are some of the best around the whole shop is filled with wonderful people and great personalities, there isnt another shop on long island I would go to before assylum first the whole place looks clean top to bottom (bathroom included) and everyone there is really into there work and they all try to improve every day from their apprentices to the shop piercer Bobby who did 2 jobs on my girlfriend which healed amazingly where she had trouble at other shops, Im telling you that you cant go wrong with any of the artists here but I personally recommend my man kerwyn who has tatted me 20 times now without a single problem
