Great experience all around. My 6 year old got her ears pierced. The guy at the front desk and the piercer were both wonderful with her. The piercer seemed very knowledgeable and had a very soothing demeanor that made her feel comfortable. He was great about explaining exactly what he would be doing. We will definitely be recommending Big Ink to friends and family!

Took my 11 year old to get her ears pierced for her birthday, and also got my helix done on one side.It was a bright, calming environment. Simple check-in, and then right to the room where he had the piercing things all ready to go. (We had made an appointment ahead of time.)He talked my daughter through the process so that she knew what was going on, and what to expect. He gave her breathing instructions to focus on, and then just like that, it was done. She said she barely even felt anything.For my helix piercing, it was also very straightforward. I had second guessed the placement for a moment, but ultimately went with the one he chose, because I figure he does this way more than me…and now that I see it done, I’m so glad I went with where he put it! It looks great.

The most professional, CLEAN and welcoming shop I have ever been to!I’ve had lots of body piercing done in the past and this is by far the best experience I have ever had with a piercing artist and healing process. Jesse was extremely professional and made the experience very easy and comfortable. I got both nipples Pierced and let me tell you, the amount of professionalism I experienced from my Artist was amazing! Calm, efficient, very thorough and clean. Had an easy and professional experience with Jesse, who pierced my ears. They provided me with all relevant info beforehand and after (like risks, aftercare, etc), price was reasonable ($25 for piercing plus the cost of earrings, so like $33 total, and you have to use their earrings). Jesse was nice and helpful through the piercing process, which went super fast and barely hurt at all. They sell aftercare products like cleaning spray but also will tell you how to make your own from sea salt.

I have gotten several piercings here (septum, both nostrils, navel, and eyebrow) and it is a pleasure each time. Jesse is a very kind and patient piercer. Not to mention he always plays awesome music during his seamless and painless piercings. I will continue to come to Big Ink for any of my piercing and tattoo needs. 12/10 service, would recommend.

I took my 16 and 8 year old daughters to Big Ink for piercings and the entire process start to finish was amazing! From the moment we stepped in the door, it was so clean and inviting. The check in process and the guy who did it was extremely friendly and helpful. Mikey, who did the piercings had the patience of a saint. He talked both girls through their piercings before and during the whole process. He also was very knowledgeable and shared with them all the proper aftercare not only for me, but with them as well. Both girls and I left feeling great about everything and they’re already planning their next piercings. I’d recommend them a million times over!

Got a pretty elaborate sleeve done by Mark yesterday. Excellent in all respects. Amazing tattoo work, and just around really great people. Super clean shop. Spent alot of time researching tattoo places and finally decided on Big Ink and I definitely made the right choice. If I could give more than 5 starts I would.

I’ve been wanting to get my nose pierced for a long time but was always too nervous about getting it done. My friend raved about Big Ink and how awesome they are so we went together and now I’m here to rave about my experience.Everyone in the shop made us feel welcome and cozy. The environment is super clean and inviting. Our piercer, Jesse, was very calm and professional. I knew I was in good hands and before I knew it I became a proud owner of a shiny new nose piercing. I’ve gotten all my facial piercings at Big Ink! Their newer facility is very clean and the staff is kind and professional. Recently got my eyebrow done, and my friend got their nostril done. Jesse was our piercer and he was very calming (it was my friends first facial piercing and they were nervous). There’s a testament to making your clients feel safe and calm. Ive been going to Mark here for 10+ years now and he never disappoints. I bring my ideas to him, and he always manages to come up with something that blows me away. My latest piece is so special to me and Im so in lobe with it so far...Its such a chill atmosphere and youre always made to feel comfortable. My kiddos stopped in to see me before I was done, and Hunter interacted with them and had them laughing pretending they were there to get a tattoo also!10/10 recommend Big Ink ❤️

Only place I will ever get my ink from since my first experience with Mark and I’ve gotten ink all over the country. I can be indecisive when it comes to the specifics, but Mark took my references and created a master piece for my sleeve! Always a great atmosphere and a very talented group of people! Family piercings have been done at Big Ink as well; all healed nice and healthy!

Love this establishment! Every detail of the store - from the jewelry cases to the toilet paper - is exquisite! Theyre very accommodating, polite, professional, with a very clean & sterile environment and tools. Their prices are reasonable and they even change my piercings FOR me - and the jewelry doesnt fall out like my Temu or Walmart jewelry does!! A++++

All staff is very friendly, and answers all ypur questions. The piercer walks you through the whole process and is very nice. I have been to big ink in total of 9 piercings and I have had no problem with any of them. The shop is very clean and looks nice.

Clean and professional environment. My daughter wanted her ears pierced... she had a bit of a panick attack and ended up backing out of out. The piercer was very professional and patient with her. I had 2 piercings done and he walked me through step by step. Would definitely recommend.

I went to big ink yesterday to have a piercing redone and I still can not get over how impressive the place is. Reminded me of a medical office with all private rooms, extremely clean, everyone was friendly and the piercer was great. Very professional, explained everything and used a very sterile technique. If you dont patronize Big Ink for your tattoos and piercings, you should reconsider your life choices. Ive had a a complete sleeve and am back for a full leg. Mark is a phenomenal artist and stellar human being. David and Hunter at the front of the house are courteous and helpful. Mikey performs piercings with thorough communication and professionalism. Their new location in Corning is spotless, well lit and privacy is never an issue if needed. Please, do yourself a favor and go check them out.

Ive been trying to get a tattoo done to represent my brothers & I. I took in a design that my cousin had drawn out and a picture I found online. Mark was able to combine them into an amazing tattoo. I will definitely be returning to have more work done.

Had such an awesome experience here today with my 5 year old daughter. All the staff are so nice, from the check in to the appointment straight through to the check out. We had to reschedule last minute from yesterday and I am truly grateful for their flexibility. She got her lobes pierced and did an absolutely amazing job. Mike was very kind, calm and explained everything beforehand, and she enjoyed pointing out all the cool stuff in his room and on his vest. I’ve been going to Big Ink for years, & they’ve never disappointed me! I got my nose & belly button pierced by them, they did amazing & it healed beautifully. I got my first tattoo; a small rib tattoo with them. And I just went yesterday to get a hip tattoo from them! Amazing! The price has always matched the work they have done. Both tattoos I got, Boo Boo did & he did an amazing job for both! I am absolutely in love with the almost 5 hour tattoo he did on my hip yesterday! It is so so beautiful. I recently had my first tattoo done at Big Inks new facility in Corning NY. The artist, Randy Mawhiney is a pretty cool soul!! He did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to get to know during the time it took to have the tattoo completed. I was amazed by the lack of pain I experienced through the whole endeavor. Great work, my wife absolutely loves it too!!!! Thank you Randy for a sweet piece of art on my arm, cant wait for the next one to be completed!!! Walked in there with a idea of what I wanted and left with a cool tattoo and a new buddy!

I came in with a friend who had an appointment. Everything was very clean and professional. The staff was kind and accommodating when I asked if they could possibly fit me in for a nose piercing without an appointment. They got me right in after my friend and everything went smoothly. My piercer explained everything well and I felt like I was in good hands. The prices are fair and the environment wasn’t intimidating, which is a plus. I would definitely come back for another piercing!

Jesse did such a fantastic job with my daughters piercings for her 7th birthday!!! An acquaintance recommended Big Ink for my daughter’s ear piercing. I had no idea what to expect, but was impressed with the overall professionalism and friendliness of the staff - and the place is spotless! When my daughter wanted a naval piercing, we didn’t hesitate to call Big Ink again. In fact, I was so comfortable with the previous experience that I also had a cartilage piercing done.When I was considering a place to have my first tattoo, I looked at other options in the area, but decided that since I had such good experiences with Big Ink previously, I would call them first. Got septum done 2-3 weeks ago and love it. I waited for about 5 minutes and in another 10 I was walking back to my car fully pierced and paid. They do a great job and it turns out fantastic so long as you keep it clean.Edit: After a year and half, Ive gone back for various ear piercings and I have never had any issues with any part of the process. All I used for the healing process was their H2Ocean spray and I healed wonderfully.

This was my first experience here and it did not disappoint. I was very nervous to be taking a big chance on switching tattoo artists when working on a sleeve with existing tattoos. I went with the rec/referral from a friend who has amazing tattoos. She told me this was a great place with good people and that Mark does her tattoo work. Well….without going on and on about the overall awesome experience….I will say taking a leap of faith and switching from familiar to unfamiliar for something permanent on my body was well worth it. It’s only day two and I am already getting compliments and questions of WHO and WHERE. I will be referring others to Big Ink, and I’m not giving up Mark for myself!!! I had an awesome experience at Big Ink Tattoo! I got a nose piercing and the entire process was smooth and quick. The location is super clean. But the best part about this business is their customer service. Poptart is the perfect welcome - he puts you at ease and makes you laugh. Ask him about his tattoos! Mickey did my piercing and he was also fantastic. Super informative and easy going. He made the experience as relaxing and painless as it could possibly be. Super grateful for the appointment. Will definitely return for any future work - even though I live in Buffalo. The customer service and value is worth it.

Loved the experience. They worked with me to get on the schedule with the tattoo artist I requested. Spent a lot of time getting the design correct and the results were great. The space is immaculate and the staff were polite.

I tend to always give him ideas of what I want and have him create the perfect piece. I can’t wait for my next one. The piercers are great as well. My daughter will only go to Big Ink for her piercings. From the moment you walk in and get checked in with David or Seth until the moment you leave is always a good experience.

Jesse did my nose and navel piercing back when they were in the mall, those were my first body piercings other than my ears, and he made me feel the most comfortable. He made it quick, easy, and fun. Today he did my septum and I am absolutely obsessed! I highly recommend him, he’s a great piercer and this is a great shop!

I got my ears pierced here about a year ago while they were still at the mall, and more recently I got my eyebrow pierced at their new location in Corning. I had a great experience both times. They are extremely professional and lay out terms of service clearly. After getting my ears pierced I was light headed, they were kind and patient. I was given water and a couple pixie sticks and encouraged to stay as long as I needed. Piercings healed nicely and were placed well. Getting my eyebrow pierced was equally as pleasant. I had an appointment and was seen on time. The piercer does a great job explaining exactly what he is going to do, and what he needs you to do. Makes putting a needle through your skin as painless and quick as possible. In and out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

I definitely recommend this shop for piercings, they’ve done my nose, septum and checked out my industrial when I got it done from someone else to make sure it was okay. I will definitely be going back for any other piercings!!

This shop is SUPER clean and very fairly priced. $65 for eyebrow AND nostril piercings. That would have been $120 easy around my home. Jesse was super knowledgeable, welcoming and professional. If Im ever in Corning again and want a piercing, Jesse is my dude.

I really wanted to like this place, everyone was very kind. Unfortunately I got my navel done here and it was pierced crooked and way too high up and not actually pierced through my navel. I understand that the navel piercing is an easy one to get messed up and can be particular with different anatomy; but I’m overall just really bummed that I had to take my piercing out. I wish that my piercing process was a little less rushed and that my piercer paid a little closer attention.

The only place I will ever go to get piercings done. Both Jesse and Mike are amazing at doing the piercings. I’ve been meaning to leave reviews and kept forgetting but they are definitely the place to go for any piercings. Such great people all around.

I surprised my wife with her first tattoo for her birthday this past weekend. We used Big Ink and they were phenomenal! I went to Mark Haley junior for my pastel tattoo and he was very thorough and pleasant throughout the whole process. Did most of the work the first go, and went back a month later to do the blue background and small touch ups. My tattoo looks great, the whole staff is friendly and I’m super happy with my experience!

Yesterday my best friend and I got matching tattoos from their new artist Randy. He was very welcoming, clean, professional, and great company throughout the experience. I was amazed at how little pressure he applied with the needle. Felt like a ballpoint pen gliding across the skin. My friend already booked another appointment with him and I will be too in the near future. I have been tatted by jaydee, Billy, and now Randy. As always it was a great experience with friendly, committed staff as they pop in and out checking in on you and the artist making sure you’re comfortable and relaxed.

My best friend and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day at BigInk on Saturday. We were both getting two pieces done, so we took up the whole afternoon. We were lucky enough to have our artist be Randy Mawhiney. Not only is his work exceptional, but he was clean, thorough, and gentle. But his company throughout the day made our time there so much more enjoyable than youd ever think possible. All around the best experience weve ever had. He has acquired, not only two life long customers, but we will be sending everyone we know his way from now on. 100 out of 10, for him, the other employees, the business, and the experience.

I went to Jaydee with a very big tattoo idea planned. I picked a couple aspects of it but gave him free reign with the rest, afterall, he is the artist. A few visits later and I ended up with the most gorgeous and creative half sleeve I have ever laid eyes on and it is all mine. We are slowly transitioning it into a full sleeve but letting the piece flow and speak for itself. He put so much time and effort into this piece with my tastes and styles in mind and I cant imagine ever letting anyone else tattoo me ever again. Hands down the greatest experience and he is so easy to talk to and get along with. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve had all of my piercings and several tattoos done at Big Ink, and I have never had a bad experience. Every single staff member is always welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable. Jesse has done all of my piercings, and I love everything about his process. The music he plays is very relaxing. I love that he talks to you before and during piercing you. His 1–2–3 breath count he has you do helps so much, and he is always thorough in explaining the cleaning process. I’ve had my tattoos done by Jaydee and Randy, and I’ve always left in love with what they did. They both take into consideration what you truly want, while also being honest about what would look best in terms of placement and size. They’re both great at holding conversations and so easy to talk to. I’m heartbroken that I’ll be moving and in just a few weeks won’t be able to have Jaydee do my tattoos anymore. Jaydee has been my favorite tattoo artist, and I’ll be looking for someone that matches his level of talent and passion when I move.

Came here two different times- for a septum piercing and also yesterday two lobe piercings.Both times I got Jesse, who is such a great piercer. He makes sure his tools are sterile and he kept my comfort in mind both times. He also had great music playing, which is a huge plus! If I want more piercings Ill be sure to come back on a day that Jesse is working, hes seriously great at his job and so professional but also calming at the same time. Hes efficient, quick, makes sure youre doing alright throughout the process, and managed to pierce me four whole times without any issues within the span of like 8 minutes?? I dont even know how thats possible. Seriously big props.Also I forgot the h2o salt spray and they called me to let me know so I could come back and grab it, which was so appreciated. Super professional, sweet, and caring staff. Thank you guys so much!Edit as of 11/9/2021 ! They have relocated to Corning and it’s a gorgeous place. I don’t normally do this type of thing but I feel it is necessary. I have been getting all of my tattoos done by Jaydee. He is very professional and takes a lot of pride in his work. He listens to everything that I want and takes the time to help me piece it all together until it’s perfect. That alone is a huge deal and made me feel comfortable going back to him every time I have a new tattoo idea. Jaydee is personable and very easy to carry a conversation with. I am beyond thankful and impressed with what we have done with my sleeve so far. He will be the only one doing my sleeve and much more.

Before moving to their new location in Corning I’ve been to Big Ink for both tattoos and piercings. Everything is always so clean, organized, and the environment welcoming. Also, even before COVID all staff were and are very sanitary. I’ve known Mark for years, but I’ve also have come to know the other staff members over the years. One of the many reasons I’ll continue to come/go to Big Ink for my services :).

Took my younger sister here for a piercing and her piercer was Jesse. He gave a no pressure relaxed environment. The receptionist Seth was also very helpful, a friendly face to see when you walk through the door.

I was a walk-in on Thursday the 27th. They were fully booked but an appointment didn’t show so they were able to squeeze me in for a conch piercing. Mikey did my piercing and he was very kind and professional with me. He explained everything he was going to do, allowed me to check the marked placement for the piercing and showed me the tools he was going to use. He answered any questions I had and he was very friendly. I would highly recommended this shop. All the equipment was sterile and clean and the staff was friendly and professional.

Walked in to get a piercing and the piercer was very condescending and overall had a horrible attitude. He did nothing to make me feel comfortable and yelled at me several times to “keep my hands down” when they were resting in my lap. He made me extremely anxious and uncomfortable and after the first piercing, I stopped him and told him I did not want the other one. The nerves I had because of him and the pain from the piercing made me feel lightheaded and when laying down, he was yelling at me over a waiver no one at the desk had given me to read. He proceeded to tell me that if I went elsewhere to get the second piercing, it would never look good or match the one he did and tried to guilt me into the piercing. When I insisted I did not want the other piercing, he became visibly angry and did not talk to me until I left the shop. I am a fairly tattooed and pierced person and this is not my first go-around. I would never tolerate someone treating me like this, especially when they are piercing or tattooing my body. I paid for what he completed and left. Later that afternoon, I went to another shop to get the second one done. It came out perfect and the piercer was amazing. No lightheadedness and no pain. The piercer went lengths to make me comfortable and gave me props for walking out on Big Ink. I would never recommend coming to Big Ink to even my worst enemy.

Jaydee is the greatest tattoo artist Ive ever met! Not only is he super talented but he listens to everything you want when it comes to work! If you ask for something he will make sure you get it! On top of that he is an amazing guy all around!!!

Jesse has done my Daith, Conch, and Rook piercings and I’ll be coming back for any future piercings. He talked me through everything he’s doing and aftercare instructions and I haven’t had any issues with any of my piercings. He’s quick with the needle which keeps the pain to a minimum. He’s in the shop Monday and Tuesday so I always wait until I have one of those days off work to make an appointment. I highly recommend asking for him and I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

So, as a dumb 18 year old i chose to get my first tattoo on my ribs. Luckily for me, my tattoo artist was Randy. He was so amazing! He was very patient and friendly. I was not an easy client but he took his time and gave me a beautiful tattoo! I can not express enough how much easier he made the whole process. 10/10 service!

I used to love getting pierced here. A guy named Mikey used to do all of my piercings and they turned out great. The last 2 times Ive went, Ive gotten pierced by a guy with long black hair, the first time the piercings were significantly more painful to get done. I thought it was just me, so I went back to get my belly button pierced a week ago. Over time, the balls of the bar were embedding themselves into my skin, I went to a different studio to get the longest curved barbell available, and even then it was too short. I had to take it out. I wont be getting pierced here again.

I give 5 stars to the piercer, he was amazing! Makes you feel completely comfortable and walks you thru the process step by step. The only bad thing is that he deserves to work for a much better business.I had paid 80 dollars for a consult for a tattoo, my 2 minute consult consisted of them printing off a picture of what I already knew I wanted. Then come to find out they cannot do the tattoo for a few weeks, mind you only the workers were there. The so called manager is the most unprofessional person Ive run into in a long time. He tried to convince me a picture of my tattoo is a consult for 80 dollars! No refunds!! I guess they need the money to pay the mall rent!!I went to 5 Star Tattoo, ahhh what a difference, the staff was so pleasant to work with and NO 80 dollars to talk and get a picture! 5 star did an amazing job on my tattoo and is very affordable, it costs about as much as my consult with big ink.Please check out 5 star tattoo before even going to big ink, unless you want a piercing, he was awesome.

WOW! These guys are phenomenal :) I really wanted a nose piercing, but every other place I tried was either sketchy, or so expensive. Here, they were SO helpful and encouraging (even though I was very nervous) and they did a fantastic job making the process comfortable, and they explained everything very well.

I have terrible luck with piercings, they usually always get infected but I got them done here and was perfect. My first tattoo healed beautifully as well. Quick and easy appointment scheduling, and the people that work there are super nice! It took about 20 minutes to get in and out with the piercing and everyone was making sure to talk to me while it was getting done.

Mark with the long curly hair was definitely on something when i got my tattoo. I had one side done and that was fine but i brought the same stencil back to get the other side done amd somehow he managed ro not only make it smaller, but way higher up than the other side. He refused to return my calls and wouldnt fix it. Never going again now I have to figure out how to pay for a cover up. Thanks mark!

I will only go to Big Ink to get my piercings done. The room is sterile and everything is opened in front of you before the piercing. The piercer goes step by step with the instructions and makes me more comfortable. I will be getting more piercings from this location.

I am responding to below message from Rebecca Summers also known as Rebecca Howard . This young lady has paid at the time of each session for the work she received that day. Our shop always has run a rate of $125 per hour. On March 4, 2016 she came in and paid $425 for the work she received that day. She returned for a second session on March 26, 2016 and paid $150 for the service she received that day . On the March 26th sit she added 2 roses to the original design. She called today wanting to finish the piece. She has a claim that she was quoted and has paid $800? You pay by the session ... There was no set cost determined for this piece. When you add to a piece this also increases the time it will take in turn raising the price. This is not the first time or shop this has happened with this young lady.Thank You,Big Ink

I got my tragus pierced here a few years ago, I was super excited about the piercing and also this shop based on reviews, when I got there the guy in the front was pleasant, but the shorter guy that did the piercing seem bothered by any questions I had, seemed like he just wanted to get me pierced and out, maybe it was just a case of Napoleon complex on his part, not sure, but my experience sucked thanks to him.

Dont go here for a belly button piercing. It was a while ago when I got it but it kept getting infected and I had no idea why. I went to an actual professional and he told me it kept getting infected because the piercer at the arnot mall did it way too high on my stomach. So it was more of a surface piercing than a belly button piercing

This place was as rude as you could ever be to a person and not get arrested, all because I wanted to return a faulty item. In the end I did not get a replacement or a refund. I got kicked out just for asking for one.
