Tommy Gunns Tattoo

My wife had setup an appointment for me to get my two daughters birth flowers as an early fathers day gift. From the moment I walked into the shop everyone was very friendly and inviting. Huge thank you to Tommy for taking my idea and coming up with a beautiful design and most importantly phenomenal execution! There is a reason he and the rest of the shop is constantly busy and thats because their work is top notch!! I could not be more thankful for great conversation and a wonderful outcome to a special tattoo for my girls. Thanks to everyone I came in contact with yesterday you guys were awesome and very accommodating.

Top notch! If you want to feel comfortable and be treated well at a tattoo shop head over to Tommy Guns. Everyone here is so welcoming and nice. Dan at the front desk will get you set up. He made me laugh the whole10 hours I was there and checked up on me multiple times. Bryan did my tattoo and I couldn’t be more happy. He was willing to finish up and fix my whole upper arm tattoo which was pretty messed up and made it look better than I even imagined. Also he was so nice and made the whole experience fun for me. I had a great time and can’t wait for more ink from Bryan!

Very clean shop and great atmosphere. I have been looking for a great artist to do a cover up tattoo. Not only did Bryan cover up my tattoo but gave me a tattoo that was even more than I expected and I love the tattoo. I told him I wanted a tarot card of the lovers with my husband and explained how I needed it as a cover up. He listened to all my wants. Not only did the tattoo turned out great but getting it done was a good experience. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area!

Hands down the best tattoo shop in Crestview. Extremely clean shop, the guys are cool and decent prices. I personally havent gotten tattooed by anyone but Joeboo but I have seen the work from others and its all good work. The piercer is an awesome lady and has done 3 of our piercing and more to come. I wouldnt recommend any other tattoo shop.

Saw Brian last night for a portrait style tattoo of my dog’s nose and paw prints honoring his passing. He was very thorough in his details as he had the photo sitting right next to him for reference. Conversation throughout our time was amazing. He was such cool guy and will be going back. Joe Boo did an amazing job for my first tattoo. I also recommend him for anyone else getting their first tattoo. He was so kind and attentive and really did his absolute best to monitor my comfort level. If he felt me tensing, he would pause and rub the skin for a minute or so before continuing. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Wonderful person and a wonderful artist.

This place is awesome! My son had his tattoo done there by Mike. He did a great job and was a great person to have as an artist. Everybody in the shop was so nice and friendly. Freddie Sheets is a very talented, knowledgeable tattoo artist and very professional. You can instantly tell he is very passionate about tattooing. I had 2 session with him 1st was 10hrs and second around 7hrs. Tattoo is healing great and faster than any other tattoo I’ve had done.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so nice. Bryan did my tattoo and I absolutely love it! He made it an awesome experience! He took the tattoo I wanted and made it something ever better! I am from out of state and will definitely be back to do business with him when I come back down to visit!

I took my mom here for her birthday to get a tattoo of the cross necklace Sacred Heart put around her when she was in a coma, and Mike was able to keep the original piece looking exactly like the necklace, customize it to have her grandchildren’s name in it perfectly, and even kept her laughing through the whole 5-6 hour process. 5 stars ⭐️Also, Joe Bo did absolutely amazing on my neck tattoo, he was able to bring it to life , and now I’m proud to show it off. ❤️**Very clean, comfortable environment ‼️

Every person I interacted with was super nice from consultation to ink. I had a really horrible tattoo that I never liked, and it was turned into an amazing cover-up. I was even fed during my five hour session with Kevin. Towards the end I was squirming because I am not one of the folks who get a jolly out of the pain...whew, but I am so happy with the result. I made the comment that, This looks like one of the tattoos you see on TV. I never would have thought my old, bad tattoo could be turned into something I would actually want to show off. I am never covering up again🖤🤘I love it! Thank you!

My husband went to get his post colon cancer tattoo since he survived all the treatments and Tyler was very helpful in the process. This was my first time in a tattoo shop and it was very clean and had a great vibe. I hear the shop is moving to an even larger space in March, congrats!

The artist that did mine was amazing, as well as the other staff members. Love my tattoos. Clean lines, very simple just like i asked. Will definitely be back!!

I came in wanting the skull kid from Majoras mask (a video game) and I requested Tommy. He had a cancellation and called me in and put the cleanest tattoo I could imagine. It literally looks like the pictures you can look up online or something from the cover art. The front desk workers are super down to earth and everybody there treats you like family. I recommend Tommy for black and grey, color, line work, lettering, WHATEVER. The guy can do it all. Request Tommy and tell him Chris sent you!

Did an all day session, best experience I’ve had a a Tattoo Shop. A very professional, friendly environment, met some really cool staff too. Jake was my artist and he did a phenomenal job. Took his time, took the right amount of breaks, comfort level, detail, coloring, etc. I would highly recommend Tommy Gunns to anyone, and if you have a chance to ask for Jake. Thank you.

Didn’t catch the piercers name but she was very sweet and did an awesome job getting my nostril piercing identical to my other one I already had. This was the Friday the 13th event so it was busy, the two front desk lady’s did a wonderful job!

It was absolutely amazing! Brought my son there for his first tattoo on his birthday and we couldnt have been happier with the experience!

I got mine done by Bryan and not only did he do an awesome job he was also super friendly and easy to talk with and made me feel very comfortable. They got 3 of us in with no appointment. The art work was phenomenal. Dan at the front had us all laughing. My youngest got his first tattoo and the artist kept checking on him and talking with him. My middle son got some added to an existing one and the artist fixed it up looks way better. The other son got a vibrant blue tattoo and the line work was amazing and the color is great. Thank you all for making our experience wonderful. Will be back for sure.

Bryan has been working on a cover up for my husband. Not only is his work phenomenal, but he is easy to work with for scheduling. It is obvious he has much experience and is really passionate about his work. The atmosphere is great and the staff is kind and accommodating. I took my daughter(minor) for a tattoo and the service was amazing! Dan at the front desk managed to greet us even though it appeared he was extremely busy! I went back to get one for myself, and Dan was again, so awesome! Alex completed the tats for my daughter and myself and we are both so happy about them! Will definitely return to add more. I recommend this place no doubt! Enjoyed sharing laughs with all the artists as well!

No problems as a walk in. Front desk was welcoming and friendly. Got Jake as my artist and he was excellent. Jake was very meticulous with his work also took his time though the whole process to make sure I got just what I wanted. My daughter also got a tattoo the same day. Got two tattoos here and this place is awesome, staff are super professional, funny and good at their craft. I got Brian for my newest one and he’s amazing super professional and a down to earth guy. The facility is super clean and decorated very well and the music is a bop, in the waiting room they got arcade games. 5/5 definitely will be coming back for future tattoos. Got my first done by Joe and i absolutely love it!! I was so nervous and since it was for my kids i just wanted it to be perfect. He did not disappoint at all and i will deffinatly be coming back real soon.

Tommy Gunns has exceptional staff all around. From the moment you walk in and speak to Dan, you feel welcomed! Although I didn’t actually talk to the piercer, Punk’N, I did see her interact with multiple customers while I was there and was very friendly. Huge fist pump to Jason Elliott. I went in with a specific tattoo I have been wanting for 3 years (first pic) and he did not disappoint. These guys are amazing. My sister and I got matching tattoos for my 43rd birthday. It was my first tattoo (yes, I’m a late bloomer) and the experience was awesome! When I walked into the shop I was greeted right away by Nalina! She is very charismatic & made me feel so comfortable! I felt like Ive known her a long time! I came in to have my nose jewelry removed & replaced with a plastic stud as I was having an MRI done in a few days. I came back after my MRI & Ally replaced my plastic stud with a beautiful opal for me! Thank you Nalina & Ally...you both are great! I will come back for my next tattoo!

First time getting a tattoo here - I moved here recently and was hesitant about finding a new artist who would perform quality work. The environment is clean, modern, and everyone is very friendly and professional. Tommy did an amazing tattoo - took his time, understood my vision and totally nailed the piece! His work is amazing, you can tell he takes great pride in the work he produces - this is a quality shop!!!!

My sister and I went in today for a Labret piercing. Ally Rose was great. We were so nervous and we didn’t know what to expect. She answered every question we had and never once made us feel like we were a burden with all of our questions. She told us exactly what to expect and was gentle and quick with the process. I have had horrendous experience with tattoos that has made me a nervous wreck to get another one. We live 3 hours away but were in Crestview for the weekend and decided to get our daughters name and DOB in my hand writing. Considering my other tattoos and it being his first one, we were on edge. Everyone in the shop is super friendly, not dry like most parlors. AND I cannot thank Joe (Joe-Boo) enough for my tattoo. Compared to my other experiences, this was a walk in the park. Absolutely no pain at all for me and we talked like weve known each other forever the entire time. Will recommend them to anyone. I have more I want to get as well as a cover up that has to be finished that another artist started. I will drive the 3 hours for Joe before I go anywhere else. Thank you again!!!!

My experience here was amazing, Dan is so welcoming at the front and makes sure your set up with what you want done. Punkn is such a professional, the whole shop is legit, she makes sure your set up and does everything in a high standard. I was truly impressed and excited to continue to see punkn for more piercings. As good as she is an artist she is a good teacher and just wonderful and caring to clients. Can’t thank them enough for a good experience that was well needed.

Joe is amazing! I came in not knowing exactly how I wanted them placed on my arm. I showed pictures of flowers and my dogs and said I would like silhouette and their birth month flowers some how. I already had other tattoos on my arm so he had to work around it. Im absolutely in love with what what he came up with and how he tattooed. His professionalism is beyond, very focused. Patience is needed while hes drawing but its worth the wait! I didnt mind waiting at all, it just tells me that hes not rushing and I definitely dont want to rush in a tattoo. I cant thank him enough! I love my tattoo and will definitely be back!

The piercer did a great job, but I feel the jewelry is junk. My snake bites both came out as well as my septum. They we willing to fix but at a coyo. I already spent 160 on them but I cant . More m more jewelry for something than should have not came apart again. I bought some from Walmart and its working fine.

I’m extremely happy with my tattoo and overall experience with them. Not many had portfolios of handwriting, which was important to me. I was willing to wait months for Tommy, but I got lucky and he was free that day. He was quick and fair, definitely would go back to him.

I took my girl to get her nose pierced and she got scared the first time. We set an appointment for a couple more days out to regather & rethink. The second time she did great and went through with it. Punkn was amazing! She was helpful, knowledgeable, and made the both of us feel comfortable the entire time. She even gifted my Bug with a little something for coming back. I could not recommend Punkn enough! Well definitely be back for more piercings.

Last night was our first time getting a tattoo done at Tommy Gunns and we are definitely pleased with the staff and work! We’ve always gotten our tattoos done in Fort Walton Beach, but after reading reviews and viewing portfolios we decided to try Tommy Gunns tattoos. Matt did a miscarriage Memorial tattoo for my husband and I and they turned out awesome! We would both highly recommend the shop to anyone in the area!

Went in to get quoted for my sleeves. These guys are very high quality artists I was able to see their portfolios and did research beforehand since I’m very picky. Definitely will be following up and I urge you to see them as well! They also have the only certified piercer in Crestview and I’ve seen Red’s work as well and it’s just as impressive. I’ve never seen a shop so well in regards to tattoo and piercing quality!!!!

You know when you move to a town, you need to find a good barber, a grocery store, and a good place to get a tattoo. I haven’t found the best grocery store yet, I kind of like the barber I go to. But, I will tell you, I have found my forever tattoo place. Charles Chapman hooked me up with a great one of a kind tattoo that looks absolutely amazing. Then a few weeks later Tommy hooked my wife up with an amazing tattoo. Not only that; but Tommy took the little extra time to touch up a tattoo on my wife’s other arm just because. He didn’t have too, but he did. I tell you that I can’t wait for my next tattoo done at Tommy Gunns!

I had such an amazing experience here! I was so nervous about getting my nipple piercings and was letting my anxiety talk me out of it. But Punk’n made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my crazy questions. She hyped me up and I am SO glad I did it. She also took such good care of me when I ended up sick before the second one (Im squeamish). Such a great atmosphere overall.

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had and yes this was my fifth tattoo and Ill never have anyone but Tommy put ink on me for the rest of my life.He gave me the best instructions on caring for my tattoo during the healing process, and it healed faster than any of mine ever have before. Tommy is a fantastic tattoo artist! Hes very easy to talk to and helped me in picking the perfect spot for my tattoo. Also Ive had a few heavy handed artist and thats all well and good, but hes got such a light touch!! I tell people he has angle hands lol. Will definitely be going back for more work.

Everyone here is really kind. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, the shop is clean, and i am extremely happy with my tattoo. The man who did mine was Jake and he did a great job of capturing what i wanted in honor of my grandmother!

Charles Chapman has done almost all of my tattoos, but my favorite he did a memorial tattoo for my niece, it was a tiny hand and foot print with a rose and her name, it looks amazing still years later. Such sharp lines and clear detail! Highly recommend him!!

Tommy and his crew are phenomenal! I have two tattoos done by Tommy! One was a cover up/refresh that brought an old scratcher tattoo back to life. The other is a large Phoenix tattoo on my thigh. Tommys line work and color skills are the best in the area, if you really want a color tattoo that pops, Tommy is the man! I also have a forearm piece done by one of his apprentices, Tyler. Tyler is still early in his career, but his work is incredible! Everyone in the shop is chill and its a low drama shop. I definitely recommend Tommy Guns Tattoo for a clean shop and a clean tattoo.

Charles Chapman is hands down one of the best artist in the world, Ive been around the tattoo game for a while, and Charles is the only person Ill ever let ink my skin again. Hes done both my calves, around the left side of my leg, portraits of Willy Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash, and they are some of the best portraits Ive ever seen. No question about it, go in and see this guy, hes got mine and my families business for as long as he is able to tattoo. 🤙🙏

I walked into Tommys shop two weeks ago with an idea for a tribute to my daughter. I left yesterday with a GORGEOUS watercolor lotus with stunning script of my daughters name. The shop is clean and comfortable. Tommy, Joe, and Tyler were all friendly and kept me company for 7 hours. I am so happy to have found a local shop that I can trust and support.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tattoo experience here. Our artist was Joe (IG: @joeboo_tattoo) and he was MAGNIFICENT. Personable, patient, and he had a very calming effect. I will probably make him my regular artist for future tats. The only thing I had a slight issue with was time management upon arrival. My friend and I had an appt for 1:00. We arrived at 1:00, checked-in, I filled out my paperwork, sent pictures of what we wanted, paid, and waited while the art was being drawn up. We waited for almost an hr before we were called back to begin our session. This wouldnt have been an issue if what we were getting was considered a large piece, but we literally got maybe 1/2 -1 in sized peanut butter and jelly slices. Once we were called back though Joe was great and the atmosphere with the other artists made us completely forget about that little snaffle. 10/10 would recommend.

My original 3* has been changed bc Mr. Tommy gunns personally reached out to myself my daughter fixing to be 18 wanted her first tattoo and to myself as well as others thats a big decision but the customer service was just not there that day however him and his shop apologized and I would completely recommend as I have always again again him or anyone employed by him for there amazing artistry work.

When hes not out traveling the US winning tattoo competitions, you can find him at his own shop. Great artist and great establishment. Nothing but the best in the area walks out of this place. Armed with a great staff of hand selected artist, you can definitely have a great experience here.

Called first about walking in they said that would be fine, if they have an artist available. Went in the lady said give her a minute to check with the artists. She comes back said an artist just finished a tattoo, and he would be with me in a few minutes. An hour later I was still waiting on said artist. I left went to Hub City and they were friendly, and they brought me in the next night and fixed me right up! I believe the lady that works there, name might be Cass. Idk

I went in on Saturday and saw Alex. He was the one who originally did it for me on June 2nd. I was telling him my concerns and he in turn said “I really don’t care”! Not good for business or my review!

Punk’n Patz is phenomenal! She is patient and kind and moves quickly. She is respectful of kids when they say no, they aren’t ready. Look no further for your piercing needs!

Had my nose pierced here. The cheap stud fell out after 3 days and I requested to come in and have her fix it. No she says she cant until 3 months so it can heal up. No refund nothing. Then tells me Ill have to pay another 60$ to have it redone. Find another business if you want any type of piercing.

I had the pleasure of booking with an artist I followed from Destin to Crestview(Freddie Sheets) who is now calling Tommy Gunns Tattoo Shop home. First off, Freddie is amazing at what he does. He is professional with consulting with you on your ideas, creating a masterpiece from it, and executing each tattoo with grace. He has done some of the most aesthetically pleasing tattoos on both myself and my boyfriend. I could spend hours looking over his other masterpieces as well. I have spent many sessions with Freddie at Tommy Gunns Tattoo Shop and getting to know the other artists up there and even the owner (TOMMY HIMSELF) has been an absolute pleasure! They are always up for good conversation! The whole place is clean, professional, and all around a wonderful atmosphere. I have seen several clients and their work done by many artists that call Tommy Gunns home, and each one I saw was WONDERFUL work! Ill leave it where I started it, 10 out of 5 stars!
