The Artisans Crypt

This was my first time at this shop, I was walking around the general area and spotted them from a parking lot and thought “they look badass, I’m going in” so I did haha I had this 1997 on my left ankle from a few years ago where the artist didn’t do the best job but thanks to TJ my tattoo is pretty again and I’m so happy! All the artists here are nice, cool and friendly. The shop itself is very clean and coolly decorated w something for all horror movie fans to enjoy! Highly recommend these guys 10/10!!!!

Almost hidden on the back parking of the main strip, tattoo and/or horror fans should seek this place out!Rob, the owner, has an obvious passion for horror and has converted his shop into an amazing homage, complete with his own custom latex masks, secret door, and prints and paintings from just about any horror film you can think of.He gave us a quick tour including his mask workshop. I highly recommend seeing it in person.And, of course, the tattoo art from Rob and crew is on point. Check out their Instagram!

Great shop! We had two tattoos done by Devin, we walked in not really knowing what we wanted and walked out with two killer pieces. Devin is a fantastic artist, with such an eye for detail! The shop was incredible! We also had a chance to meet the owner, you could really tell he had a lot of passion for his work!! Definitely will be going back!

Very welcoming place with lots to see. Lots of choices if youre a big fan of VHS! They didnt have one I wanted, but they take requests as well! Very big recommend if youre a classic horror fan or even just to see the effort put into the art and decor!

This shop is tucked away but passing by I was interested in checking out their horror collection, and the shop is stunning! Awesome hand crafted masks, horror decor everywhere, and a really cool entrance to the tattooing area as well. Devin showed us around and Im excited to come back for a tattoo sometime soon!

This place is the coolest tattoo shop I’ve ever been to, definitely check it out while you’re in Daytona even if you’re just a horror movie buff! Even my mom thought it was awesome! They were also very welcoming and I felt extremely comfortable with their vibe!! Check it out :)

Hands down the coolest tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. They make masks and have a Halloween theme going year-round. Not to mention, the vibes are awesome. I’ve been getting tattoos from Joey (“Caveman”) since 2019 and his art is out of this world. I drive in from out of town to see them and leave with a smiling face and gorgeous new artwork every time

Absolutely insane place! Owner and staff very professional, make you feel at home. The horror themed atmosphere is incredible, its like getting ink done in a horror museum. Lots of sci-fi props too for sci-fi enthusiasts. And most of all the tattoo artists are awesome! They did my tattoo even better than the production artwork I brought them. Also, prices are very reasonable for top of the line tattoos. Whether its your first tattoo or an addition, definitely check them out, you wont be disappointed.

This shop was nothing short of amazing and is a whole vibe! They fit us in for a walk in last minute when we initially only went to be able to check out all the mask they make! The entire environment was on point!

Very clean space with spooky atmosphere/decor; if you’re any kind of horror enthusiast, The Crypt is worth checking out just for that alone! Friendly, knowledgeable crew of talented artists ready to give you a tattoo that you will walk away feeling stoked about. Joey (CavemanTattoos) did this Lord of the Rings piece on my leg and I am absolutely over the moon with it! Will be returning in the future for more ink! 👌🏻

We found this shop by chance and Im so happy we did! This is a horror lovers dream come true! I could have stayed in there all day just looking at the art. The masks are so well detailed.The shop owner was so nice and his horror knowledge extensive. If youre looking for a horror tattoo, this is the place to go! The tattoo pics I saw were amazing and I definitely want to come back and get one. This is definitely not a place you want to skip out on if you are in the area! My husband and I started getting tattoos from TJ at Daytona Hardcore. My husband has only been tattooed by TJ and refuses to go to another tattoo artist because TJ is so phenomenal. One other tattoo artist who did a horrific job had tattooed me, but TJ could fix it and made it amazing. Since then, TJ has been the only tattoo artist I will let tattoo me. My husband and I recently moved to a different state and finally had the chance to visit TJ for another tattoo last week when we came to FL for a wedding. TJ done a phenomenal job on my husband’s custom lightsaber with our daughter’s name in Aurebesh! I requested a memorial tattoo for my sister who had passed, and he surpassed all expectations by bringing my dream design to reality. I can’t thank him enough for this beautiful piece of artwork that will help me honor and remember my sister! I would happily drive the 10 hours just to get another tattoo from TJ. He is that good! His new shop he works at is absolutely phenomenal! It is the coolest shop I have ever seen! From the moment you walk in the doors to the moment you’re getting inked is such a phenomenal experience. The Artisans Crypt has such a great atmosphere! All the horror props that had been collected by the owner Rob to the handmade horror props made by Rob are so breathtaking and badass! All the tattoo artists make you feel at home as soon as you walk in! I will definitely be back for some more ink therapy by TJ. Thank you so much TJ for blowing our minds with some really exceptional tattoos yet again!

Rob is awesome!!!! I have known him for years and finally committed to having some work done by him. He did my first tattoo for me and it came out great, very happy with his work. He answered all of my questions, was extremely informative and was super accommodating. Love his style and attention to detail. Great company for the session we did, about 5 or so hours. Will be back!

Chad did a piece on me today and it came out amazing! I’m his 4th human canvas and his work looks like he’s been doing it for years! I highly recommend him.He’s easy on the hand so it definitely makes the experience a lot more comfortable!

I recently got a tattoo from TJ who works here. This is by far the most unique shop I have ever been to. The theme and decor are top notch and all the artists make the experience comfortable and enjoyable. It’s a crime I can only rate 5 stars because it was a 10 out of 10 experience. Definitely would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. Personally the best shop I’ve ever been to. If you like horror themed things, this is the right place for you.

This place is so freakin cool. Popped in after hearing about it from a friend and we were beyond impressed. The collection of horror masks and memorabilia is unbelievable. The owner was a super cool guy who is clearly really passionate about horror and his craft! He took the time to show us around the whole shop and pointed out so many cool details. As horror fans- we were amazed. Love having a place like that in my hometown!

I cant recommend Robs tattoo and mask work highly enough. But even if youre not getting a tattoo, this is place is a horror movie fans dream come true and absolutely has to be seen.

Rob is a phenomenal tattoo artist! He pays close attention to detail and his line work is exceptional. Im always referring people to him when asked who does the best tattoo work in the Daytona area. As far as the shop goes, Wow! I have never visited a show as cool as The Artisans Crypt, a must see.

Rob is the sole reason for my love of mask collecting. He sold me my first mask, (that I still have, and will not part with!) And has always been my go-to for any mask related questions. His attention to details with tattoo work, mask making and his music is second to none. His knowledge of anything horror related is phenomenal. I cant recommend his business highly enough. Id give it 10 stars if I could!

My family and I were visiting and found this shop walking around Daytona. We were drawn in by the horror signs outside and went inside to see what the Artisan’s Crypt was. The owner greeted us as soon as we walked in and gave us a personal tour of the entire building! He shared his passion for horror movies and mask making with us and treated us with great kindness. I would recommend the Artisan’s Crypt to anyone, even if you are not looking for a tattoo! It was such a fun experience - highly recommend!

Tj has done many pieces for me. He is one of the best artists I know. I love every single one!! You should definitely consider him for all your work. He adds so much detail to every tattoo and he is just an awesome dude in general. I have known him for a long time and I know how incredibly talented he is. Check him out!!

I was so terrified to get a coverup especially on my sternum, but Rob did so awesome and made me feel extremely comfortable the whole three hours it took. He really took into consideration what I wanted and made it even better then I thought a coverup could look. My old tattoo is not visible anymore and I have a beautiful piece of artwork that I love! I cant wait to go back and get my next tattoo! Rob is the only person I will trust with my tattoos from now on. 10/10 recommend him!!

I randomly stumbled upon this absolute gem of artistic creation driving around. I went inside to check it out and it was everything a horror fanatic could dream of. They were kind enough to show me around and it is truly magnificent. They specialize in handmade horror masks and horror tattoos. I am thrilled that Daytona finally has something for the horror hounds out there. I cannot wait until I can book an appointment for my next tattoo.

So there I was walking into the back of Kale Cafe when a dark door catches my eye with a sign saying “Enter At Your Own Risk”… I mean…how are you going to not go in??? I’m glad I took the moment to check it out. The masks are amazing and the place feels like home…if home were an insane asylum museum. I can’t wait to figure out my next tattoo to see where they really shine!

This was my first tattoo. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, he helped me finalize my tattoo idea and helped me pick a location. The whole time I was getting inc he was very friendly and made sure I was ok. 11/10 recommend this place!

Rob’s attention to detail and care in his mask making/customization is bar none, some of the best in the business. This professionalism also extends to his tattoo work. I couldn’t recommend him enough in either respect.
