Barbie hooked me up as always. Cant wait to come back and get more! Super clean, very private, so you dont have to worry about strangers standing over you. Also its by appointment only! So you dont have to worry about your artist stopping to help at a counter or any dumb stuff like that.

Gave my ex-girlfriend some incredible tattoos, unfortunately that wasnt all this artist wanted to give her. Needless to say, theres a reason shes an ex. 5 stars for fantastic art -3 for not respecting other peoples relationships. Dwelled on posting this for months, but I think others should be aware of the possibilities of doing business at this establishment.

Loved working with Mark, hes incredibly gifted in his craft, my tattoo is honestly better than I had envisioned and he was great to work with. Ill admit hes been a little late to a session before but in all seriousness who isnt from time to time, he communicates and is very professional about how he conducts business overall so for his kind of talent Im fine with waiting a min. Just a heads up though if youre looking to work with this establishment they DO NOT have a counter person and operate on an apportionment only basis so you cant just walk in and get work done. A bit of a let down if you’re an instant gratification type but if you’re looking for great work and are relying on reviews because you dont have a referral then this is the place. I like to think of it this way; I’m working with a place that can operate on referrals only and be successful so they have to be the best cause that says something right? (Just my opinion)

Dont call because they dont answer, and when you finally do get a hold of them they ignore you. There are much more professional tattoo artists in Michigan who are equally if not more talented than these people. If they were too busy or didnt want to do the piece they could have just said so, instead of waiting for a response for weeks just to be ignored after you tell them what you want.

My gf put down a $100 deposit. Appointment came, Mark was 50 minutes late. My gf was explaining how shed like the tattoo when this man walked in, (not just the building, our actual tattoo ROOM) and asked Mark, Are you busy right now? I need some work from you man. And Mark said, No and started talking with him for almost 10minutes before the man left. We ended up leaving right then and there. Waste of money, time, and excitement. Homophobic? I am not sure. Definitely one of the WORST experiences we EVER had at a tattoo shop. The place seemed good, but the owner didnt seem professional or pleasant at all.

Barbie was phenomenal. Got me in quickly after a friends recommendation, did a fairly large black straight arm band, turned out beautifully. Thank you!

I’ve been trying to contact this place for weeks but I’ve never gotten an answer, I went in the middle of the day and they were closed , so I’m not really sure if this studio is open, although I really wish they were because I’ve heard great things about Barbie

Mark is a tattoo legend in the making. I will drive 12 hours one way making it a 2-3 day trip just to get a tattoo from him. I envy those living in area that can get on his schedule regularly.
