Raina is am amazing artist. I am so glad I saw her flash and trusted her to do my latest piece. I cannot wait to go back and see her! The Resolute studio was extremely clean (as it should be but is not always the case) and covered in artists flash (love it!). The staff her have passion like none other and support eachother like none other.Look no further, this is the place for you!And on an odd note: the parking lot has charging stations which is a giant plus!

Resolute is a top tier shop with great people. Right when you walk in it smells and looks so clean. The music is on point. Everyone there is very friendly and personable. I’ve gotten 2 pieces from Dan and both times were great. Can’t wait to go back again.

Me and my wife got our first tattoo yesterday. And ngl the person who did our tattoo was really nice and friendly (sorry I forgot ur name ) we will definitely go back there again . Thank you for having us .

Ive had work done by Dan 15 years ago, as well as my father. We setup a consultation to layout the sleeve design as well as future appointments, for my father. Dan does amazing work, hes professional and humble, same as he was back then, except hes even better and more refined and focused driven, hes an artist and easy going guy. Dans staff was very easy going and helpful, tentative to our arrival to the shop-Years ago Dan had said several times that one day hed own his own shop..........Im not Mrs. Cleo, but that was obvious to myself back then, hes never settled or stopped putting in the time and work for his dream, which is now a reality!The shop was clean, bright as well as easy to find, you always get what you pay for in the tattoo world, cheap artists arent skilled and skilled artists arent cheap, with that said Id never go anywhere else, even the rest artists at the shop are amazingly talented, no need to go anywhere else-This picture below is Dans work from 15 years ago, and now Im 35 years old- truly appreciative of his talent-

I recently got a tattoo at Resolute with artist KT, this was my first larger tattoo (I have a small dog print on my foot in memory of my dog who passed away about 6 years ago) KT did an amazing job, She is a very talented artist. The experience was great! The crew were very friendly, the place was spotless and a very convenient location (access, parking, dining, etc) If your in the market for a new tattoo, whether it be your first, or next, I highly recommend Resolute. Extremely talented and experienced artists. They can create anything imaginable. I have been a long time customer of Dans. His work has stood the test of time and remain insanely bright and bold. They are very clean and professional and as a father I have also entrusted them to tattoo my daughter.

Not that Resolute needs another 5 star rating, but here’s my own-I started getting tattooed as a teenager who didn’t know anything about tattooing and thought shops where the artists had holier than thou attitudes were the standard. the longer it went on, I grew to realize that practice was ridiculous and absolutely not to just be expected or tolerated. I tell everyone about Resolute, not just because of the quality of work they put out, but also because of their overall professionalism. they consistently go above and beyond for their clients and community. there are no egos or pretense, just talent and great energy- it’s one of my happy places and I can’t wait to go back 🫶🏻

Awesome friendly staff, place is very clean! From the moment I texted the shop it was a pleasant experience and they had me in the same week. Ben did an excellent job and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that the placement was 100% and was super friendly and made the 3 hours go by quick with a good conversation. I had a very frustrating experience with resolute tattoo. I had my initial meeting on zoom where Brian and I discuss what I wanted. Brian came up with a design but would not share the design with me prior to the tattoo date. Unfortunately we were not on the same page and the design was not what I wanted. Brian said he would rework the design and we scheduled another session. After waiting for 45 minutes at the follow up session Brian came into the waiting room and stated that he would not rework the design and he would only tattoo his original design. Needless to say I found another tattoo artist that was able to design the tattoo I wanted. I would not recommend this company for custom work.

Im a huge fan of Resolute Tattoo! Ive been going to Dan for years now and am so happy with all of his work. He takes my ideas and really makes them original pieces of art that I am proud to show off. He has done color and black and gray pieces on me and if you need a cover-up, he is the master. On another note, this is the first shop Ive found that has talented artists and friendly people. Usually you just get one or the other but not here! Holly always greets you with a smile when you arrive, and everyone just seems to be having so much fun. I dont have a ton of real estate left that isnt already tattooed but I plan to go here as long as I have space!

Had the amazing experience of being tattooed by Dan. Amazing guy. My daughter and I went in for a Get What you Get tattoo session and we are both more than pleased with the results. The shop is always clean; the staff is amazing, friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Cant wait to go there to get more. Found out that Dan even came in on his day off to do our tattoos. Makes me feel good knowing that they are willing to go above and beyond for their customers.

In love with resolute tattoo. This tattoo shop is by far the cleanest shop I’ve ever been to. You get greeted with a professional and welcoming hello when you walk in the shop. Everything is done in a timely manor. I’ve always been in and out for my tattoos but they are beyond perfect. I could not recommend this shop enough. I can not speak on the other artists because I’ve only been to KT but her work is beyond amazing. Thank you for everything you guys do!!!

I got my first and second tattoo done here by KT and I recommend it to everyone! She is super professional and amazing to work with. She always completely gets my vision, and I dont go to anyone else. The studio is clean, beautiful and everyone that works there is awesome. Plus I get compliment d on my tattoos on the daily!

KT is the best! She recently tattooed my hands and Im planning on going back for more from her! The staff were very professional, the booking process was easy and streamlined. Everything was very clean, and when I was there I was the only person being tattooed. KT is very personable and we had great conversation, making a good distraction from the tattooing. 10/10 recommend and I cant wait to go back.

I had an amazing experience at Resolute Tattoo. From the consult, scheduling, responsiveness to all my questions, to the actual tattooing wars fantastic. Everyone was very professional. The place is clean and well lit. My tattoo artist, KT, took my ideas and drew me the most beautiful custom tattoo that I’m so lucky to showcase. 10 out of 10 experience and I’d recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience here! KT did an amazing cover up on a bad tattoo I had. I felt like she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and came up with an amazing design. The shop was extremely clean and neat as well. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new piece and I absolutely love it!

I have been going to this shop for two years. KT has been my artist and has done 6 of my tattoos. She is awesome and does great work. The tattoos have healed great and I get many compliments on them. The shop is very clean, has great vibes and a great location.

This shop is amazing!!! Holly ensures all is done and proper. The artist are amazing, all in their own ways. I work with Bill and so does my husband. We have never been disappointed with any thing from Bill. We get compliments on the regular about our tattoos. The shop does a get what you get and each month they donate to a different charity. The shop is super clean and everyone is great!

I haven’t personally been to this facility but KT has done my tattoos and my experience was always done with class and talent. She sat with me for 6 hours to grind out a leg piece when she could have done it in two sittings, all to accommodate my schedule. If she’s here this place is a great establishment. When I come back to NY I plan to see her and would definitely use this shop.

Want a tattoo that is super well done and will age beautifully? Come to Resolute. Dan is so professional, very nice and will work with you to make sure you are happy with your tattoo. He always makes sure you are comfortable, which is very important to me when getting a tattoo. Holly is extremely organized and nice as well. These two do an amazing job at running a shop and I can’t wait for their business to grow and flourish.

Went and saw Dan for a little cover up and ended up with an almost half sleeve and could t be happier with it! Dan is fast and his art is flawless! Halfway through the session and Id already booked my next appointment. 11 out of 10 would recommend!!

When I finally took the plunge I could not have been happier with my choice. Everyone as Resolute was absolutely wonderful. KT did a beautiful job. and I cant thank her enough. Everyone there made me feel 100% confident and Im so thrilled with the results. When I decide what I want for my next tattoo I will be going back! This time it wont take me ten years!

We worked with Katie for our sister tattoos on my birthday. Katie was great, making two sets of drawings for the three of us (because I was picky about a font), tattooing with a very soft touch on sensitive skin, and putting up professionally with our shenanigans. The tattoos are still healing, but they are fine lined and perfectly realized. The place itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. I would have given a 5-star rating, but we were a bit taken aback by the price per tattoo. We were absolutely happy with the work, though! Hope your new space prospers, Resolute Tattoo!

My partner got me a get what you get for my birthday and it was beautiful! Not only did the artist do a fantastic job, but the whole crew made me feel like we were celebrating my birthday together. I wouldnt hesitate to go back for more work, and Id recommend them to ANYONE looking for quality work in the capital region!

I got tattooed here and had a wonderful experience. It was clean and my artist was very professional. She had my drawing all ready when I arrived and I didn’t have to spend all day getting a small tattoo. The shop is really good with communicating and using texting makes it very convenient. Definitely recommend.

Without a doubt the only place I will get tattooed. Resolute offers a clean, comfortable environment with professional, talented artists who each offer unique, high quality work. I have spent greater than 30 hours at this shop at various times and days, pre and post pandemic, they have never once been anything but a class act. Highly recommend.

I’ve now had three tattoos done here and can’t say enough good things about this shop! Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk to the artists to the apprentice. KT is an amazing artists and I’ll definitely keep coming back!!!

I don’t usually write reviews but I got my first tattoo today with Raina and it came out way better than I could have ever imagined. She was so sweet and comforting and she is super talented!

Where do I begin, the professionalism just oozes from the walls of this majestically tat palace. From the streamlined booking process to the greeting at the door you’re met with kindness and a willingness to help you achieve your tat dreams! I’ve been tattooed by Dan and KT and had marvelous experiences. I hope this shop is around for generations so I can show my spawn what a real tat shack is all about.

Dan is a great artist, friendly, knowledgeable. Was tattooed by Ben who was absolutely wonderful and very friendly. It was only my second tattoo and I’m still figuring it all out, but he took the time to really plan out the placement of the tattoo after explaining to me I might be bummed about a small tattoo being a place where typically bigger pieces go. He was also very good at explaining his process and always asked if I was ready to bring the tattooing process. He made me feel incredibly welcome in the environment. The space is very clean and the music was fantastic for my emo teen years. Definitely a place I reccomend if you’re a woman/enby and a person of color. I did not get a color tattoo because it’s not my thing to begin with, but Ben was very assuring he could do color work if I wanted which is an attitude that can be challenging to find at times. I’ll definitely be back for a future tattoos.

Waited 3 months for an appointment, less then 24 hours prior to appointment I get a text to reschedule or get a refund. No kind of care for my time and not even the option for another artist to do the work. Definitely don’t recommend worst customer service since the day I originally asked for a quote and had to come the studio for a follow up 2 weeks later when my original Consultation was March 5th and was missed by artist, The next available time time offered to tattoo me was 6/21 or 6/22 so if that was the artist next days off work that was offered I do apologize for still being dissatisfied with the service!

Hands down the best shop in upstate New York! The artists are so talented, I seriously can’t wait to get tattooed again here. They are beyond accommodating, so friendly, and creative. Everyone there treats you like family and it couldn’t be a more positive environment to get tattooed!!

Dan Belcher is a bit of a tattoo super fan. Great discussion of our mutual love for the subculture, and all of the characters in it. Clean shop, nice atmosphere. Convenient process for booking. GREAT tattoo.

I went to Resolute Tattoo for the first time two weeks ago to get a custom peice done by KT and had a wonderful experience.The video consultation was fun and after giving KT my ideas, I had total confidence that she would make stunning art out of it.Holly was very concise with her communication regarding that consult, deposit, and pre-appointment information. The fact that is was done via texting made it even better.The shop was spotless, modern, and very welcoming. All of the flash on the walls gave me so many ideas for my next peices.When I saw the stencil that KT drew, my jaw dropped, it was beyond perfect. All of the elements I wanted incorporated were drawn perfectly and she made sure to apply the stencil in a flattering way on my arm.The line work and precision is impeccable. She was so nice and even stayed late to complete it in one sitting.Another artist Ben did a peice while I was there, and if I wasnt told he was an apprentice, I would have never thought that. The flash he did was top notch.All in all - highly recommended Resolute Tattoo and KT for those who want stunning art on their body.

One of the best shops in the area! Its always very clean inside and the staff is super friendly.Resolute is very modern too with online consultation scheduling and ability to pay with card. They bring in great guest artists a few times a year as well. Parking is always easy too!

I’ve only had one tattoo done here and that was just the other day but the amount of consideration and professionalism I saw when I was there made me immediately comfortable, which I usually feel uncomfortable in tattoo shops (I have bad anxiety) so this spoke volumes to me. For example, I believe she was an apprentice, but she waited till a tattoo was done before she grabbed something off that station so she wouldn’t distract the artist tattooing. Everyone there was really nice, and towards the end of my tattoo I was a terrible canvas for Ben cuz it my leg was hurting so bad and it was twitching but he was so nice about it and still pulled off a BEAUTIFUL tattoo
