They overcharge!! My boyfriend and I were getting small tattoos and he tried charging $180 for each, then when I told him I don’t have that much and told him how much I had he said he would do it for that. They shouldn’t have been more than $100 each but were and he didn’t do any shading on my boyfriends. It only took about an hour maybe a little longer for both of us together. I got a tattoo 3 times the size of this one for $100 even that looks great. I get that tattoos are art and cost money but I really feel like they were trying to scam us. The tattoos aren’t bad but could’ve went somewhere else for way cheaper. I’m not sure how to add a photo but the tattoo is only a few inches long and pretty thin.

I havent gotten a tattoo yet I only went in to ask questions. Jesús was very friendly and answered all questions promptly. Looking forward to getting a tattoo soon.

Spyder was AMAZING, he is a phenomenal artist and knows what he is doing!The issue I had was with Isaac (or Isaiah I cant remember). It was my first tattoo, and he knew I wasnt too familiar with the pricing of tattoos. When I went in for the consultation he told me it would be 150 an hour. Then he called me the day of my appointment and said wed have to reschedule because theyre overbooked (which is understandable).As soon as I walk in the next day for my tattoo he tells me it will probably take 6-7 hours because its a big tattoo and may cost about a grand.Well... The tattoo takes 4 hours, including the prep and everything. So I was expecting 600-700 bucks... HE CHARGED ME $1200 FOR A FOUR HOUR SESSION!!!!! I knew it was steep but I decided it was best to just get out of there and never go back. I was planning on getting both full sleeves there too! But Isaac was too worried about making a quick buck rather than gaining a loyal customer.People new to tattos BEWARE. Make sure you stay firm with isaac on the $/hr! Again, i loved spyder and my tattoo was amazing. But I will not return because of isaac and his scam.

I had an amazing experience at this shop. It was my first tattoo and they were all very kind and it was very clean. Definitly did not think they were over priced. Me and my boyfriend had a great experience with them! Will definitely return.

Spyder did a fantastic job my issue was with pricing sent a photo of what I wanted the owner of shop quoted me 1200 on the phone and when I got there he wanted 2000.. ended up paying 1500 and didn’t even get it completely done so this is what 1500 gets ya apparently… definitely won’t be back electric bill must of been past due along with rent… glad I could help out with keeping the lights on

Got tattooed by Isaiah in the williston shop and had a blast, I was about an hour late for my appointment and he had no problem waiting for me. The guys were all super nice and the experience was great! Tattoo turned out awesome, cant wait to go back for my other shin!

First, Abraham is a great tattoo artist and did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. However, I went in thinking it would be about $400 and it ended up being $900!! For a small wrist tattoo that took 4 hours. Guest artist or not, a shop shouldnt be able to double charge like that. Ive had plenty of tattoos done by guest artists and my biggest piece that took twice as long didnt even cost that much! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had a small tattoo done by Isaiah recently that I was very nervous about having done and he crushed it. He made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole thing. I highly recommend coming here for all your tattoo needs!

The artist Jesus, is a great dude and great artist. He started up my sleeve and man knows what he’s doing. I gave him and idea of a Spartan and lion for my forearm and he drew up what I told him and came out really good. I 100 percent would recommend him to a lot of my friends, and even will go back for more tattoos

Im in town for work and have had an idea for a new tattoo Ive been wanting. Manuel was knowledgeable, personable and all around awesome artist Highly recommend him for anyone wanting to add on or start their collection.

I had a piece done by Isaiah at the Anchorage Villain Ink Tattoo convention and it’s turned out AMAZING! He took everything I wanted into consideration and produced a beautiful piece representing home for me! I can’t wait to get another done:)

My husband and I both booked quarter sleve tattoos beginning of 2022 quoted $3000. We paid the $300 deposit (which apparently does not go towards your tattoo). We each had 2 sessions. First session was great second session was an absolute disaster. I was to show up at 10 am business was not open and Isaiah double booked our artist so my husband was unable to finish his tattoo that day .we finished mine that second session and had to reschedule my husbands. we owed a balance of $500 and Isiah expected that to be paid that day before my husbands tattoo was even finished. It all ended in a yelling match in the parking lot. Terrible experience between not having the $300 deposit go towards the service and expecting to be paid before the services were completed. Do not recommend.

Isaiah was who helped me with my tattoo I was wanting. Really good pricing and clean shop. Everyone there was super nice and made me feel welcomed.

These guys are really good. You pay for the service you get. Ive gone to cheaper shops but nowhere near the quality of art work body temple provides. Highly recommend

Dania covered up my first (and only) tattoo that I had gotten over 20 years ago. I had wanted to cover it for quite a while but never found anyone that made me think, “That’s the one I trust!” After looking at all the photos of the work done at Grand Ave, I knew that this was the place to go. I came in with a bunch of ideas and Dania helped me decide on which one would be best. She is a very talented artist and it turned out perfect! It looks better than I had expected and I am looking forward to my next tattoo. The shop was clean, everyone was so friendly (the other artists who we’re coming in for the day all stopped in the room to say hi), the mood of the shop was upbeat and fun. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Grand Ave Tattoo.

My sister and I came in to get matching pineapple tattoos and we’re so happy with them! I can’t remember his name but our artist was so friendly, funny, and talented that we were already planning the next tattoos we want from him on the way home. We both got them on our feet and he was so gentle it barely even hurt! I am beyond impressed with the work that I had done by Omar at Grand Avenue! The studio is incredibly clean and inviting and he was very professional. I took in two pieces of my own artwork and he was able to seamlessly combine them into exactly what I had envisioned. As a Permanent Makeup Artist, I am obsessively picky about who I would let tattoo me...so much so that I’ve been looking for over 10 years. We started out with a small piece today and I can say without reservation that I will be back to complete the full piece that I’ve been planning. If you’re looking for crisp lines and extreme attention to detail, Omar is your guy!

Was happy with tattoo at 1st. The artist that did the work is as cool as they come. I like the artist alot. As it was healing it faded quickly and you can see it needed lots of touch up work. This was done as a surprise tattoo I got done for my 10yr anniversary . Wanted it to be perfect before I see my wife(Which I havent seen in months). They wouldnt do the touch up work because artist was on vacation. I got this done in August the artist doesnt return until October. My anniversary was in September. Summary.... artist was cool. Shop has horrible customer service and obviously didnt care. I spent $1100 on a less than 3.5 hr tattoo then had horrible customer service. They said it would take 5 plus hours ($1000). $200 an hr. Like I said I like the artist tip $100.

When I came in the shop was very clean and everyone was very professional. The professionalism and tattoo quality was so amazing. Got my first tattoo here and absolutely loved it, at the time. In just 6 weeks the color has faded terribly to the point of where I wish I could back in time and decided not to get one. Everyone was very patient with me during my visit but since I am almost 300 miles away, I cant just pop in and have them look at it. There is a tattoo show in my home town this weekend so I am going to check to see if someone can add more color and make it look like I want it to so I am happy again.

Travis did a good job. I like it but when the redness and swelling went down tonight I can see just how little details there are. Ill be happy with it for a while and see how the heal and peel goes but Im probably going to have to get it detailed some more.

I was quoted to do my tattoo for 150 to 200 I made a appointment and put a 100.00 deposit so when I went to get the tattoo the owner raised it to 300 too 400 and I already had 100 involved so I went ahead and did it little to my knowledge it was a apprentice that was doing it not even a year later ink coming out very unprofessional my wife walked out on them and I should have done the same.

I am so excited to come back and get another tattoo with Chris Cash! He did an exceptional job getting me in and giving me the tattoo I wanted. I couldn’t have had a better experience! Highly recommend!! :)

This shop exceeded my expectations and as an aspiring tattoo artist myself, I have had experiences with shops and shop owners from all over. I really went out on a limb trusting this shop with my first face tattoo. I was anxious but my anxiety was alleviated when I walked in the door. I had reviewed the work of the artists in the shop prior to making my appointment. I determined that they were all very versatile and talented. Omar Rubio was the artist who rocked out my piece. I want to mention that he not only did a stellar job but he was humble and very personable. He was very receptive to my input and didnt try to talk me down from what I wanted. I really enjoyed conversing with him and I felt like we could talk about tattoos without him being condescending as I have experienced with so many artists in the past. Travis did a great job creating my piece. Thanks for your hard work;sorry about the scheduling confusion. A little frustrated that they lost my deposit, forgot that my appointment was today, and then couldn’t find my permission form. I think I was overcharged for my simple black ink word tattoo. $200 on top of my $100 deposit they misplaced.Travis handled the dilemma kindly while the front desk guy, (Jose?),seemed kinda annoyed. I don’t feel like that the organization issue was my problem. Travis was apologetic about it, and still honored the card he gave me with the appointment reminder.

Their guys are absolutly awesome. Walked in with a simple idea and they blew it out of the water and exceeded all expectations. The guys were so down to earth, very knowledgeable, very artistic.. it was just a really great experience . Definitely going back.

Very clean. Watched them clean and sanitize things in several stages, changing gloves between steps. Always use brand new needles and cups opening them infront of us. They were friendly and seemed pretty good at what they do. I feel they are over priced. Originally wanting $600, we came to an agreement of $350. A friend of ours got a tattoo at a different place in town, the same time, the same size and also in all black, they paid $250.

Omar is amazing! He did a redo on my arm, I couldnt imagined it better! Its flawless! Im hooked on him! I will not see any one else! It doesnt even look the same! Thank you so incredibly much!

Came into the Hampton Roads tattoo convention looking for a great tattoo and stopped by grand ave tattoo because theirs look the best out of all the booths I visited. Got my forearm done by Tony and it was better than expected. I look forward to my next tattoos from Grand ave.

I can not express in words how amazing my experience was at grand ave tattoo, they snuck us in when the office was even closed to help me and my friend honor my husband and best friend! The artist that came from Texas did an awesome job and made an unfortunate situation in to a great memory for both of us.

Got a tattoo here recently, and it’s not what I expected, the line are big and blotchy and the lines aren’t straight, it’s coloured in big letters and the after care wasn’t clear and not covered properly, wouldn’t recommend getting anything done. UNSATISFIED

I had a cover up done and was worried it would be difficult to do but Spider made it happen and he did a phenomenal job!! These guys do great work! I love it and so happy with the results!!!!!!

Very clean shop, Omar understood what I was going for when I walked into the shop. He wasnt heavy handed and he even explained to one of the guys what he was doing so it helped me to become aware of the types of stencils used ect. Shop was an easy going environment. He made me get through my tatoo in a breeze. Ill be back!

Dook did an amazing job of transforming an old tattoo I had gotten 12 years ago. He listened to my ideas and designed a beautiful floral tattoo for me. Dook is very talented, professional and I would highly recommend him and Grand Avenue Tattoo.

Previously, to get a great tattoo you would have to travel to Bismarck or a bigger city. That’s not the case anymore. Take my word for it, Omar and grand avenue tattoo is the best around. Amazing work, and even better people. Quit going to Bismarck and come see Omar.

Tattoo turned out mediocre.Was quoted $200/hr. Would be 8 hrs. I said theres no way itll take that long...I was right. It took 5hr/15 minIncluding a half hr break and many 10 min breaks by the artist.Still had to pay $1600!! What?!They later changed the quote to we charge by the tattoo, not the time... What?!!I asked for color on my tattoo but after a couple weeks of having me on their schedule, the artist refused to do color. Yet the price didnt change?

My tattoo was done by Dook, he took extra care to make sure the placement was good and that the lines were all well established. I also really like that he made sure I was happy with it before calling it quits.

I’ve been waiting for a clean artist since I moved out here from LA, especially one that can tat on dark skin. Santos took a picture I gave him and my general idea and transformed it into a MASTERPIECE. I wouldn’t recommended any where else; clean shop , clean artwork, and professional ! One of the worst experiences with tattooing. Pay them $1,500 lines were all screwed up and never even got my work finished called and asked if they were going to finish it they told me they fired everybody because they were embezzling money from their company. Joe wanted to schedule me at 11 o clock at night. Most their artists are from out of State.
