This was my first time being tattooed by Cory and the experience did not disappoint. I asked him for an old camping lantern with a mountain scene to represent “Montana,” and that goes with my current desert scene tattoo. Cory did a great job drawing exactly what I had in mind, and in the traditional style that I wanted. He took his time, constantly checking and looking over his work to be sure the final outcome was on point. He is not heavy-handed at all. The finished product is colorful, neat, and healing nicely.The tattoo shop is clean, has a great atmosphere and the music that plays is right on the money. No one has ever made my toes curl like Cory did! We did a 6 hour session and I am so in love with the art he created for me! It was a relaxed atmosphere, he crooned music while he worked and there was plenty of comedic relief. I got my first tattoo at Lacuna Studios with Cory. He is an awesome dude and artist. I told him I was getting my first tattoo, and it was going to be the start to a sleeve. He informed me on everything I needed to know, and answered all of my questions.I gave him all of the elements I wanted in the tattoo, and he delivered everything I wanted perfectly. He was receptive to me if I wanted anything different, but I thought it was perfect the way it was. Im very picky about any services I get, but especially for a tattoo let alone my first. His line work is crisp and clean. His shading and technique are solid, and led to make something beautiful. He didnt damage my skin, and was able to work around a couple little scars I had. He was very professional in his art. He has helped me express myself self through this tattoo, and I will be back again to eventually get two sleeves done.

I initially booked an appointment with Cory because I love the designs that he had posted on his Facebook page. The establishment is very clean and comfortable. It was an easy-going tattoo appointment as I like to chat during them. The artwork alone speaks for itself. I highly recommend going to his page to see the piece he put on me. Its a raven skull inside a glass jar with rosemary and yellow flowers around it. I had this placed on my left thigh. The pain wasnt bad at all with it being a 5 1/2 hour tattoo. The roughest part was the highlights at the end, but Cory did a great job with seeing what needed to be done and doing it in a timely manner. The lines are clean cut and beautifully done. I am obsessed with this piece and cannot wait to show it off in the summer. (With sunscreen on of course) Skin care is important ;)I will be back to get more work done from Cory for many more.

I got an impulse tattoo at a shop outside of Dillon a little over a month ago, it turned out to have a mistake that I really wasn’t fond of. I asked a couple of friends for recommendations on where to get it fixed and their advice was great! Cory fixed the mishap and went the extra mile to touch up some other imperfections he noticed. Good quick fix and a good guy, I would highly recommend going to him for a fix or the the first time!

Had an impulse to get some favorite lyrics inked on my thigh. Called Cory, told him I was visiting from out of town and wanted to act before I lost the nerve and he made time for me on a busy Saturday. Sent Cory the lyrics and my idea to use Sailor Jerry style lettering. Cory produced the lyrics with multiple types for my approval and we talked through location, pain threshold, the important stuff.The outcome was exactly what I wanted and I will be traveling back to Dillon for more work in the near future.Cory was responsive, well prepared, thoughtful, and efficient. Cory at Lacuna does great work! He is personable, caring, and a bit of a jokester. He fixed a tattoo I got at a different shop that was not very willing to help me out. He listened to my requests, was honest about what it may end up looking like due to the placement and mess up, and it fixed it wonderfully. His shop is very clean. I would 10/10 recommend Lacuna and am so happy Dillon finally has a tattoo shop!
