I had a 3 hour session with Breah two weeks ago, and I have genuinely never had such a pleasant experience getting tattooed.Breah’s professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and quality of work blew me away. Her prices are reasonable and competitive, considering the quality of experience you get at Rapture.I also am floored by how well my tattoo has been healing the last 2 weeks. Legitimately the easiest healing process I’ve experienced, which is saying something considering I decided to get tattooed in the summer. The tattoo balm they use is unbelievable. I am not exaggerating- I have had almost zero peeling or flaking with it. I hope they carry it forever because I will not use anything else for aftercare.If you have never been to Rapture- read their website. Be thorough. Bring cash. Follow their instructions regarding tattoo aftercare. As with all service industries, take their work as seriously as they do, and you will not be disappointed.Thank you so much Breah- I can’t wait to come back.

Clean, welcoming environment with some of the kindest employees Ive met in a hot second! Piercings were fast and precise with less pain than I thought possible (Thank you Mads!!) Theyre cash only, so be sure to plan for that. Well worth the price and trip

I don’t often leave reviews, but I had such a great experience that I needed to share. This will be my go-to tattoo place if they’ll have me. The atmosphere was great & I wouldn’t change a thing about my experience. Breah did an absolute phenomenal job. 💜

I walked into this tattoo shop, wanting to get some information and see if I could schedule a tattoo, but I stood in the lobby and waited, and no one approached me. I think there was one artist that was there, and he was working on someone but he didn’t acknowledge me or didn’t welcome me to come back to where he was or check in with me to see what I needed. I saw cards on the wall of tattoo artists, so I picked up one and then when I went home, I contacted one of the artist on messenger and sent them a message and I have yet to hear back from that person either. They must not be needing business🤷🏽‍♂️

The whole vibe of this place is awsome. They have tons of cool art work from the artists on the walls. Dan is my artist and he always kills it. 🤘

This is one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the studio is beautiful and clean and every artist does incredible work! They make you feel right at home. I saw Craig today for a small tattoo on my ribs and he made me feel so comfortable. His space was clean and he was as delicate as he could be in the process. His light and steady hand made getting the tattoo in an uncomfortable area a breeze! Im so happy I came here and left with a perfect tattoo.

I’ve gotten the majority of my tattoos from JD because not only is he super nerdy, he excellent at what he does.

Just had my first tattoo done here by Chris. The building it self looks awesome and has an amazing bioshock vibe. As for Chris I highly recommend him, he was very professional and we made some great conversation with each other while he was tattooing me. When I go back for the next tattoo I will definitely request him if possible.

My wife and I are almost 40 and finally went to get our first tattoos. Even at this age, its still nerve-racking because there are so many options, it is (hopefully) a permanent decision, and you dont want to get something you dont love.Enter Rapture Tattoo and Josh Hoffman. Josh made both of our experiences better than I could have ever imagined. He answered all of our questions, talked us through the whole process, collaborated and worked with us on our designs, discussed what changes hed recommend and why, and ultimately gave both of us something that we can forever cherish. Josh is truly a gifted artist and will make you feel comfortable every step of the way.Beyond the amazing work Josh did, we met many of their other artists who were all friendly and made you feel like part of their family.If you just want a one-off tattoo, go anywhere. If you want to build a rapport with a truly talented number of tattoo artists that will last you though multiple astonishing pieces of beautiful artwork - go to Rapture. You will not be disappointed.

Todd Williams is the best! My husband and I have only had one small tattoo there so far but we will definitely be back for larger pieces in the future! The place is clean, everyone is nice and Todd does a great job!

The new location in Mechanicsburg is a great atmosphere. The tattooers are professional and friendly. They make great recommendations and give their artistic input, not just a cookie cutter approach! Jake is very talented, would highly recommend.

I had my tattoo done at Rapture over the weekend and could not be more satisfied with the entire experience. Craig was the artist and everything from the initial consultation to the thorough after-care instructions was extremely professional. I brought my idea/design in and Craig walked me through the process: what to expect as far as duration, pricing, scheduling etc. The shop itself is sick as hell and super clean; definitely take some time to walk around check it out. You can tell this group loves what they do and value the customer experience. I have already started recommending Rapture to family and friends, and I will definitely be back again.

Great establishment with a fantastic atmosphere. JD is my tattoo artist and he has made sure I am completely satisfied with every part of my tattoo before transferring it to my skin. He also provides fantastic conversation during the time sitting in the chair!

The entire staff at Rapture have always been very nice and welcoming. Brea is working on my Harry Potter sleeve, and she is the most incredible artist. Ive trusted her to design the sections of my sleeve, without reviewing it prior to the tattoo session. If you want AMAZING work, friendly staff, clean environment, Rapture Tattoo Emporium is your place to go. Highly recommend!

The best shop! All the artists are warm and welcoming. Loved the atmosphere and vibe of the whole place. I a Dan fan and will always go where he is. Thank you Rapture for making it a great home for him.

An amazingly positive Atmos, Dan Lara is newer to the shop but is a familiar face to me and a recognized artist locally. He, along with the other staff there are not only competent,professional, and committed to the satisfaction of their customers. They are superior in their talent and really know how to make the experience one of a kind... I will not go anywhere else.

Thursday, Sept 15th, 2016 was one of the best tattoo experiences of my life. Ive been an admirer of Jake Kirks work for quite some time, and yesterday I made the trek to PA (from MD) to Rapture Tattoo to get my first tattoo session with him.I am a tattoo artist, and I can say, with full confidence, that Rapture Tattoo Emporium is five start experience. The staff is amazing! Frenchie, the front manager, was polite and helpful when assisting me over the phone and once I arrived at the studio; He was most attentive in checking me in and he made me and my friend feel right at home. Frenchie along with my artist, Jake, were there wearing smiles to greet me. Jake was waiting for my arrival to show me the amazing design he had drawn for my chest piece... It was all I had dreamt it would be!I spent my whole day with the Rapture crew, Jake, Frenchie, JD, Craig, and their friend Keith (I didnt see Todd); Everyone was warm, positive, and everything youd expect when signing up for a long day of tattooing. Ive been tattooed more then the average person, and I can tell you that nothing was missed about this service. I had pillows to keep me comfy, along with beverages offered, and great conversation/music.If you are someone looking for both a wonderful piece of art, and an amazing service, I would give my full recommendation to Rapture Tattoo Emporium! All the artists do amazing custom work, each having their own personality and style. Together with the art and the atmosphere, I felt like I was with friends Id known for years (having only met most of them that day).I loved my first session getting tattooed! I cant wait to go back and see everyone again. Pain is always involved in getting tattooed, but with a studio like this, the pain wasnt even something I could register; They all made it worth the pain! ~I love you guys!
