Have been working with Gaby on my horror sleeve for a few months now and shes great! The shop is clean and I love the decor. My husband has also been getting work done by Gaby and at this point Im recommending Heart & Hammer to anyone that asks!

For the past 7 years Ive gotten all my tattoos done by Chris Kelley. Ive never been disappointed, he does amazing work. And very fair pricing. Im beyond pleased with my Undertaker tattoo, that I got done a couple weeks ago

I was setting up my wifes tattoo for her birthday, and I could do it all by email. I sent the pictures with the general dimensions, and they showed the artist I wanted to do it. They gave an estimate, and I paid a deposit over the phone and locked in my appt. My wife loves this place, and Luna does all her work there! Amazing customer service!

The lady that does the piercings here is fabulous 👌 strongly recommend ! But make sure you ask a lot of questions when it comes to tattoos. Some tattoo artist are better than others. Iv had both done at establishment.

Ive gotten 2 pieces from Josh and they are both killer. Im not artistic at all, but Josh is able to take what I give him and run with it. Everybody has a goos attitude, the prices are very good, and they quick and efficient. Thanks Josh!

Went to get a tattoo for my granddaughter. Luna did an excellent tattoo for me.The people there were very friendly,Shop was clean and very colorful with all their posters on the wall and wildlife on display.

Monse (piercer) is fantastic! I had my nose pierced about 20 years ago in another state. I don’t change jewelry that often but when I do I usually go to a piercer because I have giant uncoordinated man hands for a woman and it’s just a challenge. 2024 I’ve had a lot of unexpected medical stuff-complex radiology tests, biopsies and recently major surgery, which means my nose ring has been in and out more the last 9 months than it’s been changed in 20 years. Monse has helped me change it several time now. Monse is super professional and always very sweet. I’ve had a lot of piercings over the years, and some jewelry changes that have been quite painful if a taper has been needed, but I haven’t really experienced that with her. It’s usually a quick, easy and pain-free experience.I highly recommend Monse to anyone wanting a piercer who is professional, sweet and highly skilled. I also have really been impressed with the entire tattoo co in my interactions —I follow them on IG and knew they’re all great artists, but it’s really just a fantastic place, clean, professional, mad skills all around..I’d def recommend Heart and Hammer Tattoo Co to others and will be hitting them up for any future piercing or tattooing needs 🩷

The Woman that does the Piercings is really good, anytime ive been in as well with my daughter, she has answered questions, changed our piercings etc. she is really sweet, explains everything perfectly. This place is a 10 out of 10As my 8 year old says.

Its a pretty calm n cozy environment! Its very friendly and neat, the tattoo artist/peircers are pretty straightforward, polite and they take precise n gentle care of your piercings. And when they are done they hand you an piercing/tattoo aftercare card and a buisness card of the attending piercer (theyre really pretty cool looking cards).Be mindful that when you set up an appointment for tattoo they do request a $$ deposit to hold your spot.

Know several people who have gotten tattoos there and are happy.Have taken someone there to get pierced several times and the piercer has been great to work with.

Went to this place today to get a tattoo celebrating surviving stage 4 cancer. My granddaughter drew the tattoo for me and Gabby did the tattoo. She was awesome I could hardly feel what she was doing. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The tattoo turned out just like my young granddaughters drawing. I will definitely use her again. The place is very very clean. The price was very reasonable also. Thank you Gabby

Had my appointment today right at opening. Gabby drew up a design right there and only took 20 minutes. I was in and out in an hour and 20. Really cool place with cooler artists. Will definitely be back to finish up my arms.

Ive gotten three different piercings from Heart and Hammer and Ive had a great experience every time. Piercing prices are SUPER fair compared to other piercers. My piercer was very friendly and informed me of the best ways to take care of my piercings. Im thinking about getting my helix pierced next, and I will definitely be coming here to get it done.

I had a great experience at Heart and Hammer. I havent had a tattoo since 1982, but having survived cancer during a pandemic, I needed my badge. I did my research and chose H&H. Phenomenal website, btw! Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Monsie (sorry, gal, idk spelling) was so sweet & helpful when I called. Establishment is very clean (biggie for me), the atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and friendly, and I am to the moon happy with my art. Thank you, Chris Kelly, it was just what I wanted and needed!

Chris is a FANTASTIC artist. He will help you refine YOUR tattoo and likes talking about ALL things Tattoo! this is the Beautiful work Chris did on my sons 1st tattoo.. A story of both sides of our families coming from Europe.

G r e a t atmosphere; doesnt play loud screamer music which is a nice change; j.jernigan was patient and piece came out better than I imagined.

Only gotten piercings here, but the girl that pierced me is very gentle and friendly :). The shop is very nice and has a great environment. Better than the other tattoo/piercing parlors I have been to. I only really trust them!!

Todd did my piercings and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The shop was welcoming and all about cleanliness. I wont go anywhere else piercings or tattoo wise. Gaby is a true artist - I took in an idea and picture of a tattoo I wanted and she was able to listen, understand and complete exactly what I wanted. Gaby was very relaxed and made the entire process a great experience. I will definitely return to Heart and Hammer and Gaby for future work.

Absolutely one of my favorite shops! All of the artists are extremely friendly and have awesome work. I have been to multiple shops in the past. However, this shop is one of the most welcoming. Chris was the one who did my work. Out of all of my tattoo experiences. Chris was the one who worked with me most as far as with design. He also worked on the tattoo, made sure every detail was exactly right. I highly recommend any artist there!

This place is awesome. Ive gotten 3 tattoos here and am scheduled for 4 & 5 today, making my total 12. Ive been to many different shops over the years and this one sits at the top. The shop is so clean and welcoming. The guys are all awesome and super friendly. Would definitely recommend 100 times over.

We had a great piercing experience with Todd. My sister had her septum pierced and I had my second nostril done. He and the apprentice were very attentive when my sister felt poorly right after her piercing. I realized the day after that my nostril piercing was a hair uneven, so I was able to go back to him, which he agreed and told me to take it out and heal it. The next week, he was happy to repierce it for free and even gave me an extra piece of jewelry. He was knowledgeable with aftercare and gave good instructions. Overall, wonderful experience. Clean and relaxing environment.

Beyond the best shop I have even had the pleasure to have them create my idea into art and so I wouldn’t go anyone else( and I’m picky) you will not regret it. This shop is better then any big or small city around and the prices are beyond fair!!! Can not wait for another one and the atmosphere was so calming and had me cracking up!! Just overall so happy to find a shop that will being doing my tattoos and piercings from.Justin did my tattoo and he is hilarious and keep you mind off it and the piercer is amazing and so welcoming. Honestly all the guys there at the shop or just so caring and funny and had such a great time and the best part is I got to walk away with a beautiful piece of art!!!!

Josh and Chris have done several of my tattoos and Jason has done all of my piercings. I have never been displeased. Not only are these gentlemen masters of their art, but they are an awesome group of men when it comes to personality. Since I became a H&H client, I would never go anywhere else - and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a clean, top notch environment - professional and welcoming staff - and incredible artwork - all three of them.

Got my septum pierced here, the piercer and shop was very very clean and he was definitely a perfectionist. Which, if someone is shoving a needle in my body I want them to be that way! He gave me all the information I needed and made me feel comfortable, and the piercing is healing up nicely! Very friendly, yet professional atmosphere.

The tattoo artists here are amazing!!! I took my nieces for the $40 Friday the 13th special they were having and our tattoos are amazing! Thank you Chris, Josh and Gabe....you gave us yet again some great tattoos!

Im visiting from Ohio for my sisters graduation. We decided to get simple little kind of matching sister tattoos. It was my sisters 4th tattoo from here. My first tattoo ever. I had a great time! Our artist, Chris, was very welcoming and friendly. Explained everything well to me, being that it was my first time. And the tattoos came out awesome! I loved my experience here and Im thrilled I got my first tattoo here. 10/10!

They are artists first and businessmen second. What does that mean for you? It means that they will go above and beyond to make sure what is going to be permanently on you will look amazing forever. Their style...is unique. It encompasses anything you can think of from American traditional to water color to graffiti. The studio is the cleanest Ive seen in North Carolina and they use the highest quality inks and equipment. Ive referred multiple friends here and all of them have been overjoyed with the experience, and the ones that didnt come here are soon to be scheduling their cover ups (which these guys do incredibly well)
