Heart & Soul Tattoo

Had a 2 hour sitting with Scott for my first tattoo. He was so patient and professional. He made sure the design was what I wanted while staying true to his style. I cant wait to go back and get more!

The artists here are unique and friendly. The studio is decent inside with tons of art albums to thumb through, including a cool poster rack attached to the wall that you can also flip through for inspiration. The only downfall to this place is their business buildings exterior, which is the opposite of its interior, lacking any and all design inspiration at all, except the sign itself, which is pretty cool! The buildings lack of luster on the outside deters new clients from even stopping to go inside at all. I know cause I am a potential new client. Had I not met the studio at a tattoo convention, I may have never bothered to stop into their local shop.

Kevin is super kind professional and let me take plenty of breaks without judgement. My tattoo is gorgeous and I can’t wait to come back for more!

Scott W. Is an awesome artist! He did a beautiful memorial for my little brother and started blending it in with an old memorial tattoo for my older brother. He saw me on a crunch and get me in on his cancellation. We ran out of time because I needed to be elsewhere and he STILL managed to get tattoo shaded. Tattoo needs color yet and Im looking forward to having alot more work done when final tattoo is complete.

We brought our son for his first tattoo to mark his 18th birthday. The shop is clean, comfortable and obviously well regarded, judging by the wall full of award plaques. We were welcomed, not only to the shop but to the neighborhood (weve only lived here for a year) and left feeling like wed spent the evening with friends. Our son is delighted with his tattoo and we will be seeing the fine folks at Heart &Soul again soon.

!!!DO NOT BOOK MEL!!! I paid $500 for the smallest tattoo and worst I have ever gotten, it was a small rib quote piece. Mel was my artist and she was one of the rudest artists I have ever met. She was mean and barely spoke to me the entire time, instead decided to talk about weed and parties with everyone else there. If you go here DO NOT book Mel. Complained about my tremors (I am neurodivergent and have anxiety) AND CHARGED ME EXTRA FOR SHAKING! AFTER BEING 2 HOURS LATE. That women took complete advantage of me, and no one said a word. They are lucky I didn’t try and sue them. There are many places you can get nice tattoos, with actually nice people for a much smaller price tag too.

I was so impressed the extraordinary cleanliness of the studio. Mel, who did my tattoo, took the time to sit with me and discuss what I wanted. She spent time to fully understand what my vision would look like. She was gentle; however, I did have a few Oooch leave my lips. I highly recommend Heart &Soul, for your first (or second like me) - it was a pleasure with a touch of Ooooch. I love my tatts and will refer Mel to others.

Just got my first tattoo here today with Scott, and as a tattoo virgin I was nervous walking into it. Scott made everything easy, as well as calmed my nerves. The facility is extremely clean, and Scott takes extreme pride in this fact. As for the art itself, the Image I presented to him was seamlessly transferred onto my skin, I couldnt ask for anything more. I would recommend this artist to any first-time client, or anyone looking for an incredibly friendly experience.

Great experience, I have gotten tattooed here before. I had a different artist this time and Kevin was awesome, friendly and did great work. Looking forward to getting more work done from him.

Just got my second tattoo with Jake, great and super talented artist that definitely cares about getting you what you’re after. Super patient and willing to explain the process to you. Will definitely be back and recommend him to friends.

I was extremelty displeased with the service. When I walked in for a consultation, two young people, who I assumed were two employees were there and treated me like I was a nuisance; very young and immature- warning 1. They told me it would be better to come in during their walk-in hours, rather than make an appointment, because availability was limited. I go to their first walk-in time and there was already one person there, a friend of one of that tattoo artists who got there before me to have a tattoo done. I was told by the employee that all of the walks-ins were booked for the day (one walk-in was in there and apparently the other tattoo artists had accidently booked appointments during walk in times)- warning 2. The employees told me to come back next week for another walk in. At that point I was done trying, figured they didnt need my patronage, and found another tattoo place. Im sure their work is nice, but what I experienced was a general flippant attitude toward a potential customer.I ended up going to Tattoo Marks in Souderton and loved it. Im sure Heart and Soul does nice work, but unless youre a friend of one of the artists, dont expect to get a walk-in slot.

My daughter got me a gift card for xmas. I went in with some idea of what I was after but Im not artistic at all. I said i need someone to work with me. I was told figure out what your getting come back we will do it. So gift card down the drain. I was looking to get a sleeve but I guess there not interested in working with a customer that has no artistic bone in there body. It sucks my daughter lost that money for the gift card but hey they got paid.

Heart and Soul has some very talented artists. Some of which are booked a few months out- for a reason! Great people, great experience. True five star traditional and realism artists.

This place is great. Not many decent tattoo shops have walk in hours. The staff here is hella friendly. The place is ultra clean. And the worksmanship is unbelievable. They spend the time to get your tattoo done right and make sure you leave satisfied. Highly recommend this joint.
