I had Dave do a sleeve tattoo for me that took 4 all day sessions. He was very professional and his work is incredible! I get so many compliments on my tattoo. Most people just cant believe how sharp the work is! I highly recommend this place!

I cant say enough good about this place. I went in with a concept and after talking with me a bit Dave was able to sketch out a fully formed idea that I absolutely loved. He works with me on scheduling and is always super nice and professional. As far as the tattoo quality goes he is a master with needle and ink. With just black and grey he was able to create amazing detail and I am so happy with the work he has done. If you are looking for an amazing artist at a very affordable price look no further!

Dave Ferguson has worked on me a few times and I’ve never been disappointed! He does amazing work and is fair with pricing. I’ve taken friends and my husband to him and we’ve all been very happy. My most recent addition was added to a piece he did five years ago, I have a feeling this is not the last piece he will do for me. The shop is always clean and needles are unboxed in front of me ensuring I know they’re new. Highly recommend

I got my first tattoo by Dave Ferguson in April 2016. And have work scheduled coming up. Dave is kind, listens, is professional but fun to talk to , easy going. Dave goes thru and explains in detail what he is doing with needles and ink, step by step , beyond sterile. If you need a break, he works with you and lets you take the time you need. Dave is very easy to talk to and actually genuinely listens and cares about the meaning behind my tattoo choices. I can not wait til my next appointment coming up this fall. Dave and Tony Jr are running a fantastically sterile shop and it is def a neat shop and set up. Love these guys and their work! Wouldnt go anywhere else and totally worth the wait!

Got my first tattoo here a couple days ago. It was an awesome experience. Dave Ferguson did an incredible job. Place is clean and very professional, all the artists there are organized and do awesome quality work. My personal experience and speaking on behalf of my fiancee, Kyle is great to work with, and a awesome artist. He takes pride in all his work and will give you exactly what you want and expect, actually you will leave the chair with more than you expected! Very relaxed atmosphere but still on a professional level. Clean shop and very flexible scheduling. I have been inked twice by Kyle and have a 3rd appointment scheduled. Once by Dave. Both did a great job. I would highly recommend this shop. Im a skulloholic and I would recommend Kyle for anything skull related. Dave is fantastic at anything wildlife, animals or outdoors. I havent been inked by Frederik yet but I have a project on my mind I believe would be well suited for his talent. Reasonable prices and all very good experienced artists. I also have another project in mind for Dave. High quality work and very impressive realism and 3D work. I would consider Hybrid to be a top notch shop and put their work up against any in this area. Give them a shot and I dont think you will be disappointed. I hope my review will be helpful to others. Nobody deserves bad ink!!!

Dave is impeccable with his work. I think we clocked a total of ten hours, maybe even more into my piece. By far my favorite tattoo I have to date. Hands down will not use any other artist ever again.I really can’t put into words how happy I am with it. I had an idea from a line in a Pearl Jam song of what I wanted and he came up with this and totally executed it, something way more involved than just getting lyrics tattooed on me, again. I am so so happy. the shop is super clean (I am hyper aware of stuff like this since I clean for a living) All the guys in this shop really are solid artists.

Dave did incredible work on my tattoo! I have received several compliments already and the piece isnt even finished. He was really mindful, to ask me periodically if I wanted any breaks or to reposition. Cant wait for my next appointment :)

Was not happy at all going in 3 times to finish a 2 hr tat. There apprentice did it and after the second time in I asked Fred to finish it. Was running way to much money for the work done. Fred said he dont finish others tats even though he was his apprentice. Wont go back, either will my wife that had the same issues with him.

Ive gone to Kyle for all of my tattoos and I couldnt be happier! Hes easy and nice to work with, and has amazing artistic skill. I get compliments on my tattoos daily. I cant wait to go back and get more work done!

The guys over at Hybrid are top notch artists. I had my first tattoo on the 9th with Kyle S (4 hours). They are very personable down earth and friendly. They take the time to go over what you want and make sure its what you want. Everything there is custom. I would recommend them to everyone. If your interested in a tattoo small or large take the time to talk with Kyle or any of the artists, you wont be disappointed.

Super pleased with going here. Ive been a long time customer of Kyles and i can take anything to him and it come out exactly like i planned. Ive had multiple tattoos hes done along with a cover up/rework. Super clean and professional, Ive also gotten tattooed by Tony and for the reviews stating that he sucks, youre immature, photos of all the guys that work at Hybrid is amazing.Tattoos are CUSTOM, Their not supposed to look exactly like whatever random picture you bring in, THATS BORING!

Well where do I start. Firstly this has to be the cleanest shop I have been to. In the middle of a pandemic these guys kept it safe and fun at the same time the artwork was unspeakably beautiful for my wife’s and my own piece. The level of depth and attention to detail is why they will continue to have my business. (Will post pictures when fully healed)

I went yesterday to get my very first tattoo ever. Dave did my tattoo. He explained everything that would be happening. Great experience. I love Dave and will tell all my friends to come and see him.

I wish I could give this place a negative rating. DO NOT GO HERE! Tony Kelly is the worst. He doesn’t listen to anything you say. You will end up having something completely different than you want. A child could do better work. I regret every day having gone to this mouth breather. I have a constant reminder of how awful his “work” is and can not wait to change them. I have another artist that has to help me cover up what he did to me and have looked into laser surgery to remove what they can’t fix. So i am spending 100’s of dollars to fix what this disgusting mouth breather did. Save your money and go elsewhere otherwise you’ll be scarred for life and up with scratch off sticker looking tattoos or cartoon moths instead of 3D butterflies.

Ive been getting tattooed by Dave Ferguson at this shop for 3 years and I wont go anywhere else as long as I live in central Illinois. Great shop, great artist, amazing tattoos. Highly recommend.
