I can’t even begin to tell you all how amazing Matt is. From how incredibly patient he is with my requests and ideas that are alllll over the place to how incredibly talented he is as an artist. I could post photos for dayyyyys of the amazing tattoos he has done for me over the years. I can‘t recommend him enough… gooooo get a tattoo!! Like right now! :)

Wonderful service, great artists, calm environment and professional. Ive never been in such a calming and happy tattoo shop. Justin made the entire experience of getting a tattoo something I cannot wait to relive. I was comfortable, informed and taken care of. My tattoos turned out beautifully.

I want to say first of all, my tattoo is beautiful. Secondly Matt did an amazing job ever. I recommend everyone to go see him and get a great tattoo. He listens to what you want and put his heart into it!!! It’s not done yet, just half is!!!

Great place for a tattoo! I had an idea for an arm sleeve and Matt delivered. He is easy to work with and gives great insight. The sleeve came out awesome and I have since added a couple to my chest. I have a vision for my other arm and Matt has made it so they will balance and blend.You won’t be overcharged either, prices are very reasonable for the work you get done. Won’t go anywhere else!

My mom and I went to get bracelet tattoos together today done by Matt. It’s my 4th tattoo that Matt has done but my mom’s very first tattoo in general. Not only do they look fantastic but it was a great first time experience for her. Matt is friendly and down to earth. He’s very approachable so it’s easy to say if you want the design he’s created tweaked at all. I’m a very awkward person and I don’t like having to ask anyone to change anything for me so that’s always been a worry when it came to tattoos. Matt has always made me feel extremely comfortable giving my opinion and asking for adjustments. Matt’s line work is exceptional. He was able to do the daintiest, finest chain detains on my mom’s bracelet - it looks incredibly realistic. He also touched up a finger tattoo I have that another artist did over a decade ago and very faded. It looks so crisp again. This is my first time being to this studio and it exceeded my expectations. The artwork hanging (and for sale!) is amazing, it’s a very comfortable space and it’s incredibly clean. Matt adheres to the highest of standards when it comes to cleanliness. I would recommend Matt and Spice City to anyone. He gave my mom a wonderful experience for her first time and she left with another appointment booked for two more!

Justin is the most professional artist I have encountered across the United States. He is very meticulous at not only ensuring you have the exact art you want to put on your body, but also at being very clean and sanitary. He goes above and beyond for his customers. Prices are very fair, he is quick, and his artwork is breathtaking. You will not regret getting your next work done at Spice City Tattoo!

Absolutely amazing artists and experience! Most reviews talk about it was reasonable price (which it was) or the atmosphere was clean (which again it was).... Im going to tell you about the experience. I walked in with an idea in mind and a purpose for my idea and walked out feeling appreciated, heard and valued! From the moment I spoke with Justin it was clear this is his passion and he has a heart of gold. He took the time to listen, to be creative with me and to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Start to finish an amazing experience that was challenging given I was working around existing pieces. Hands down the best experience ever! If youre looking for artists who care about your vision this is the place to go!

This review has been a long time coming, but its hard to put into words how fantastic Matt is when it comes to tattooing, and art in general. Whether you come with him with just an idea or a completed concept, he will work with you to make sure its exactly what youre looking for. This tattoo was to remind me of a pack of stray cats I was taking care of, and found homes for, and it was great to sit in the chair of not just a great artist, but someone who legitimately took interest in the meaning behind the art. Thanks for the conversation about my kitty cats, and thank you for the art. It was great to reminisce about The Cat Pack.

Matt does killer work! I was so nervous about going in for my first piece, but he was so light handed it honestly started to put me to sleep. With the three tattoos he’s done for me I have yet a bad thing to say. He’s always so positive and patient and creativity flows through this man. 10/10 will be going back to him, and couldn’t recommend a better shop! Thank you Matt!

It was my first tattoo in about ten years but I have many! I was nervous to find a new artist since moving and it was a great experience ! Very clean shop, friendly artists and Justin did a great job talking me through his process and making sure I was comfortable ! He created a beautiful peice and are half way through. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

I came in and ended up with the opportunity to work with the most experienced artist there. He definitely took the time to understand me and was reasonably priced.I felt important and heard by the artist. I trust him and he was kind honest and did a fabulously sharp job. Great place they do awesome art work and they are friendly and very talented! Very clean place a they very good on keeping the tattoo clean at all times but they will help you make sure you take good care of your tattoo when you leave as well. Highly recommend going here if you want some tattoos.

Matt is litteraly The GOATas far as im concerned he is the best artist and i wouldnt go anywhere else. Although he is exceptionally talented he is very down to earth and humble and friendly. It is so refreshingly easy to book with him, his online system is so simple. Getting a tattoo with him is not stressful and you dont have to worry about anything, it is a very pleasant experience and he will explain all the details so you can work together to design the perfect tattoo and feel confident. I am actually in love with this tattoo. Matthew did my tattoo and he did an outstanding job. He was extremely welcoming and professional. Tbh I’ve always had people recommend Matt to me. It never seemed like the universe wanted to to book with him before, something always came up when I was going to. Maybe it wasn’t my time yet or what have you but I’m so happy it worked out. Matt is an amazing artist! It was so easy to book with him and got in relatively quick. The studio itself is in a nice area, it’s clean and comfortable. His own artwork is displayed all around the room available for purchase as well as inspiration books you can flip through. I was so excited to do this piece because Zelda is one of my favorite game series and Wind Waker is my top game. He was light with the needle and checked in often to make sure I was ok. When we got done we were chatting about a future idea I was interested in and he was excited to work on that with me. 10/10 recommend
