The whole experience was awesome. The possible expectations were explained. Andrew the RN did a test spot and asked me if I wanted to go on. He iced my eyebrows and proceeded. I absolutely LOVE the results! See the picture was taken 2 hours after the removal. Thank you Removery!!!

The staff here is beyond amazing! I had such a great experience here with Nancy, Melissa, and Andrew. The place is kept clean and tidy! Nancy, at the front desk, always greeted me warmly and made me feel very welcomed. She was quick to check me in and always had a positive and kind attitude. We had such entertaining conversations while I waited for my appointment. Melissa and Andrew are very professional and great to talk to as well. They’re both super sweet and knowledgeable and would constantly check in to see if I was doing okay throughout the appointment. This was my first removal appointment and it was a very positive experience. The staff there is pleasant and professional and even though the process hurts pretty bad, my nurse Andrew was incredible. He patiently answered all my questions and was extremely nice. I’ll be back in two months for my next session and Im looking forward to my next visit.

Such a great experience! I highly recommend if you’ve been wanting to get a removal of ink. From scheduling my appointment, to the consultation the same day and my appointment the next day!The staff is so sweet, knowledgeable and kind. Edwin my guy, brought my mother and I in the consultation room to go over the basics and answered any and all questions we had. He was honest and even showed me his tattoo that he is having removed.I made an appointment the next day. I was on time, I didn’t wait at all and Drew the Nurse made me feel comfortable in and uncomfortable situation. The entire procedure itself took less than 2 minutes. My tattoo is small so Drew didn’t have a lot to cover (thank the Lord)I asked Edwin to film the process for me and he kindly did so. I scheduled my second treatment for the recommended time and will follow all post instructions. The pain on a scale of 1-10 was a solid 9 and I have a high tolerance for pain. It was not pleasant but manageable.I had some swelling after, which is normal. The frost was gone in about 5minutes after the procedure. The area was warm for about 15-20 minutes or so afterwards…. I fanned it with piece of paper and was fine.I’m excited about my journey ahead.I highly recommend this business. Thank you to all the staff who has made my experience a positive one.With Gratitude

Both myself and spouse came to Removery during winter sale of last year. Nancy is very knowledgeable. All the nurses are great and make my appointments as bearable as it can be. I’ve recommended to all my tattoo friends who wants to remove tattoos that they regret getting.

I have been going to this location for a while now but always take a lot of time in between sessions. Front desk staff is always nice! I was pleasantly surprised by the treatment I got from Andrew, in comparison to the service I got from the previous NP that was working there the past few times I went. I had a wonderful consultation with Nancy at the Emeryville, CA location. She was beyond knowledgeable, personable, professional, and she conveyed the information/expectations concisely...which I appreciated.The companys internal process (for lack of a better description) of checks & balances, and education was impressive as well (you would have to consult to understand.)I havent completed my research/consultations to make a final decision yet, but I can follow up to provide an update should I proceed with Removery and if Google will allow me to do so.

When researching tattoo removal options this was the first to come up, after I inquired about pricing they urged me to come in for a consultation. I initially did not want to because they refused to give me a price estimate even after describing the tattoos i wanted removed. I went in anyway because it was close by and unfortunately my assumptions were true. While the girl doing my consultation was very nice and informative, they wanted 2000$ to remove 2 quarter size tattoos. That to me is laughably expensive, and just solidified that they wanted to get me in the room before hitting me with their prices. It just felt like a waste of time and a business strategy that was just rude. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of one is because of the nice employee.

Went in for a consultation with Removery and everything went great! Nancy and Andi made me feel extremely comfortable immediately when I arrived. During the consultation Nancy explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. The best laser tattoo removal business Ive worked with. Ive been getting tattoo removal for a while now and have tried a few different businesses because of a lack of results. I recently started working with Removery and have been really happy with the experience. Theyve educated me a lot on the process, have been very honest about what to expect and havent overpromised like Ive experienced with other tattoo removal businesses. Their technicians are great and I love that you can pay for a full removal package so youre not surprised with additional charges. I love Removery! I had my second session today and the staff is wonderful. I had trouble finding the office because Maps sent me to Ulta but after a phone call I found them easily (they’re located next to Ashley Furniture and Sally’s). I was greeted by everyone who was there and felt genuinely welcomed. Calm and inviting environment. I love how transparent they were with me and how patient they were with all the questions I had. They were very thorough in their explanations and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I feel confident that they know what they’re doing and that they have my best interest at heart. I’m definitely going to keep coming to the Emeryville location for the rest of my sessions. If you have a tattoo you want to get rid of this is your sign to go check them out.

Im so excited to finally be on my tattoo removal journey. Its been a while in the making, dealing with research, cost, location, reaction to my health etc. Removery put me at ease with all that. The moment I arrive Im welcomed, taken to a private room to discuss what services I need, concerns and so forth. Nancy is so sweet, and real! They let you know the cost, and also have payment plan options, which is great. Your able to get your tattoo removal or what ever services you’re in for that day! I have a lower back tattoo that I want GONE, they explained to me of the pain level of that area, but I was ready! They described it like a rubber band pop, that it was indeed, times 20😄. In the end just knowing my struggles with that tattoo made it so worth it. So whatever struggles you may be going threw, or just looking to revamp yourself, REMOVERY IS DEFINITELY the place for you. 😉

I went in for a consultation and the entire time, the staff made me feel welcomed. They were very informative and had a no-pressure approach after consultation to make an appointment. I’m so glad they did they did that because I’m an over-thinker and I like to take my time to think and figure out my schedule and finances. I recently had my initial consultation at the Emeryville Removery location, and it was a great experience. Nancy was very knowledgeable, and communicated about the process very clearly and openly. Some places make you feel pushed into treatment but I didnt feel any pressure at all which was a relief. I really liked that they consider the social and mental health aspects of tattoos/tattoo removal- what its like to have something on your body you dont feel like you can live with for whatever reason, how rough it can be mentally and emotionally to feel disfigured and like the process of removal is unattainable, and how much stigma there is around removal in the tattoo community. Theyre the only company Ive come across that have talked about it and I think its relevant and important, their philosophy and approach feels empowering and reassuring. Its also a women owned company which is always a plus, but especially since tattooing can be such a macho world. I cant speak to the treatment itself yet, but my initial experience was 10/10.UPDATE: I had my first removal session over the weekend and it went really well. McKenna (hope I spelled her name right) was the RN who did the actual treatment, and she explained everything as she went which helped me feel less scared. She iced the area so it was a bit numb, and then started in with the laser. The actual feeling wasnt quite as painful as being tattooed in the first place, but it was a similar sensation and it definitely stung. It was a little bit like electrolysis, if youve ever experienced that. The major difference between the feeling of this and getting tattooed is that it was SO FAST, my tattoo is 7x9 and she was done in less than 10 minutes. The recovery time was a lot better than I expected too, it felt like a bad sunburn for a few hours but by the end of the night I hardly noticed it. That was Saturday and today is Monday and its basically back to normal. I had imagined this being like the physical experience of getting and healing from a tattoo, and then as soon as its healed doing it all over again, every six weeks, for like 2 years. So Im VERY pleasantly surprised, this is gonna be a cakewalk. I wish I had done it years ago.
