Up In Flames Tattoo

I recommend Aaron from Up In Flames. Based on our conversation on 7/30 during my session I gathered that Aaron has owned the business for 23 years. He has 24 years of experience. They have been at this location for about six years. Back in September of 2020, I got my first tattoo EST:1994 by Dave. Unfortunately, Dave has retired. I was in great hands with Aaron. I was following the Instagram page and wanted who did the zebra tattoo. My newest tattoo is Zebra Strong for CVID Awareness. I highly recommend the shop. The shop is very clean, professional, and skilled. Theyre fairly priced too.

From the second I stepped into the shop the experience was a good one. Every artist was friendly, and my appointment started within 10 minutes of walking in the door.I had tattoo ideas for over a decade but always put them off due to worry of the quality I would receive. My girlfriend recommended Brandi. From the start she was incredibly professional, clean, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and absolutely hilarious.Im no artist, and sent her references of similiar tattoos that I wanted parts of in my half sleeve. Upon seeing her drawings I was absolutely blown away at the detail and how much It matched what I had envisioned.To have my very first tattoo from her is an absolute honor, and Ive recommended her to everyone who will listen since. Do not pass up an opportunity to have your dream tattoos done by her, she will absolutely deliver.

I did my nipple piercings here it was very professional fast and they are healing amazing I love them the service was great and they definitely take their time to make sure your comfortable and everything is done correctly also they are extremely nice and clean

So Dave was awesome! Lets start off there. He is the reason this gets 4 stars. But hes not there anymore. So i tried Brandie Popps. If it were only her rating, it would get none. Disappointing experience literally from beginning to End!She will rip you off on time And money. Shes not consistent with information or answers Or pricing... Will have you pay for an hour but then rush through and only give you less than half of that.. will make an appointment then not show up. And act like you didnt have an appt. Will rush through it and not even do it how you asked. Shes not professional or friendly. I mean, list goes on... DO NOT GO TO HER!!! Find somewhere or someone else!!!

Dave (aka Flat Brim Dave) has created 3 pieces of actual artwork on my son and another absolutely incredible piece on my husband. I sit there and watch because it is just so fascinating seeing him bring these images to life on their skin. The place itself is super clean, and I complemented them on having a tattoo parlor which was comparable to a high-end beauty salon in cleanliness and style. The atmosphere is great and the gentleman are all extremely talented. Dave is a true artist, and his work deserves recognition. Im glad to see that they are back in action again, and my husband and son will be visiting soon. I highly recommend Up In Flames tattoo parlor without reservation!

I went in this place for the first time 7 years ago, I left there with the best experience. I walked in made an appointment for my birthday and gave them a vague description of what I wanted and walked back in a week later with what was better than I could have ever imagined. Aaron does all of my work but Bruce has done one on me, I have never been disappointed and would never go anywhere else, the guys have since become like family to me and are so easy to get along with and are very helpful in designing and placement of the art work. I recommend them to everyone and wouldnt go anywhere else!

Great place for ratios. Prices are great too. Their detail artwork is superb. Very clean sterile shop. The artists are very pleasant and professional. People there treat you with respect. They are very nice to their clientele .. Great shop. I recommend it to everyone whos looking to have any tatoo work done at all.

Got my first 4 tattoos here last year, super happy with em. My arrow could have been a little more percise, seems like a little ink bled... but nonetheless, I love it and would definitely come back. Nice staff, super awesome shop!

I wanted my kids and wifes name tattooed on my upper back. I even sketched it out on paper and gave it to Aaron. I had my wifes name written inside a ribbon just in case things didnt work out, then I could just have the Ribbon colored in. Some spots he went really deep and others he went too light. He didnt even make the Ribbon and he made my wifes name huge, half the tattoo scabbed and fell out and the other half you cant read and he blamed my skin. And wouldnt you know, a year later I am now divorced with her name in huge letters on my back.

Honestly i cant say to much other than maybe updating the hours on the door. I was just looking for a numbing product. So i dont want to leave a full review or any opinion since i havent seen anything

I just got two walk-in tatts on the inside of my ears by Dave and honestly it was a great experience. he was so gentle and friendly and so was the receptionist. i’ll be back! good work, guys

Ive been going to Up in Flames for the last few years and I never leave disappointed. The artists are phenomenal and do the best work around hands down.

Best tattoo parlor in the city....Always busy.... All the guys are great artists with their own style.... Highly recommended.... Make an appointment...They dont do walk-ins often.... You may have to wait a few weeks to get in but definitely worth it...

Amazing artists and service, great atmosphere

I live all the way in Boston I came down around 12 pm (an hour after they just opened) according to their site. Locked doors, no one inside, no one answering the phones basically made the trip for nothing.
