I had the most pleasant experience at Flesh yesterday. Receptionist was friendly. I had an appointment for a tattoo with Pat yesterday. I highly recommend him for a tattoo artist. He is very personable, very professional and polite. He did a fantastic job on the tattoo that I requested. He is patient. He had different sizes of the tattoo that he had drawn up for me available for me to consider what size I wanted. He assured that tattoo and placement was exactly how I wanted, made sure that I was comfortable in the setting, while occasionally asking how I was holding up during that tattoo process. He did great discussing after care instructions. Pat does great work! I am so happy with my new tattoo! Very precise work and great job with lines. My experience at Flesh was fantastic and I could not be more happy with my new tattoo, thank you Flesh and thank you Pat!

I recently saw Safiya and she did an amazing mandala tattoo on my arm. She works with you, is light handed, and makes you feel at ease. Already booked a second appointment with her for another tattoo! All of her work is beautiful. ✨

I highly recommend this tattoo shop, I got a tattoo done a few months ago by Safiya and it was an amazing experience. She did an amazing job on both my tattoo and my moms. I highly recommend her if your thinking about getting a tattoo she pays very close attention to detail and will make sure you are 100% satisfied with her work. My tattoo healed beautifully. I live an hour away and the drive is definitely worth it, I will definitely be coming back soon!

Justin has done all my big pieces, and every time I’ve walked away more than happy. I bring him ideas and he’s able to translate exactly what I want onto my skin. We’re currently in the process of finishing up a sleeve and I can’t wait for it all to come together. Meghan has put a couple holes in my head too, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to pierce me. The rest of the staff is always so welcoming and helpful. The facilities are always clean and tidy. I love this shop and the people that work here. 💕💕

Went here not sure what to expect but left feeling wonderful with my experience! I recently visited this store after having 3 piercings all done at different places because I’ve never had a great experience anywhere. But here, it was great and the piercing process for my helix only took less than 10 minutes including figuring out jewelry, placement, and the piercing itself. They did accept walk-ins and I did have to wait a couple minutes but that was to be expected and I wasn’t waiting too long. Kudos to Meghan for making me feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole process while being super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area to give it a try if your looking to get a new piercing and definitely could see people becoming a regular at this place.

I recently saw Safiya and got a large beautiful tattoo done. I am so in love with the end result. She is very talented and her work is beautiful. Pictures don’t do justice. I am so happy with it I am 90% sure I’m coming back to add more to it. She is 100% committed to her craft and I can’t say enough good things about her!The scheduling process was simple and easy and the shop was extremely clean. 100000% recommend!!!

I have been going to flesh tattoo for 4 years now. Justin has been amazing. He has done 2 sleeves for my husband and over 12 tattoos for me. He now is doing tattoos for 4 of my family members. I am always really happy with what he comes up with. Plus the shop is very sanitary which is the reason I chose to come there in the first place.Also Justin is one of the best at script. As a whole the shop is great. People are nice and shop is clean. Prices are good for the work they do.

Flesh was the most professional and organized tattoo shop Ive ever been to. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They had me email them the pic I wanted while I was still there, so when I came for my tattoos 2 days later the tattoo artist already had it drawn up. My tattoo artist was Kirk. He was very professional, he had an awesome room with a huge flat screen tv, and a fridge full of drinks. He did an amazing job on my tattoo, I couldnt be more happy. This was my most important and most special tattoo, as it was a memorial to my dad. I couldnt be more impressed with my artist or the shop. I highly recommend, I was blown away!!!

I booked my first tattoo with Pat at Flesh today. It was a great experience from dealing with the front desk for booking to the actual tattooing experience. I had a slight adjustment to the design that Pat was happy to make, and he suggested flipping the tattoo which I agreed. He was on time and finished in exactly the time he said he would. I think the conversation with Pat during the experience was just as great as his tattoo work. He was genuinely interested in learning about the meaning behind my tattoo and about me and my music. I will definitely be seeing Pat again, sooner than later.

I’ve had multiple tattoos done at this shop. Justin has completed some great pieces for me to include a sentimental EGA that I wouldn’t trust just anyone to do for me. The shop is very clean and everyone I’ve encountered has been professional and courteous.

Meghan is the BEST and ONLY person i will ever trust to pierce me. She’s done 15+ of my piercings, always willing to change my jewelry or put something back in. She makes the process so quick, easy, and fun. Her personality just radiates through the shop!! I’ve gotten over a handful of tattoos from Justin and will continue too. His work is incredible, he cares about his clients and what they want, and always executes my ideas better then I ever could have thought. Got my first tattoo done by Justin and I still cant be happier. He listened to my placement and sizing hesitations and helped pick the perfect size and location. Very clean and organized workspace, gentle but purposeful hand and felt comfortable throughout the entirety. Healed nicely and still looks amazing! 12/10 recommend.

I went here on a referral from a co worker, and felt right at home when I met Justin for my consultation. Justin is fantastic with his talent and very relaxing to work with. Had my very first tattoo done by Justin! Very friendly guy and was very nice and attentive. Was on the ribs, the place where many people say it hurts the most, but he said we could take a break whenever, just keep breathing, and everything would be fine. Definitely recommend Justin to anyone getting a first tattoo or just one in general. Will be going back if I ever decide to get another. Very happy with the final product as well!!

I’ve been going to Justin for 6 years now and I am still stoked with every tattoo I’ve gotten. We’ve been working on a sleeve and I’ve gotten two coordinating large pieces on my thighs as well as a calf tattoo. Notably color application and line work are stellar. Frequently get stopped and asked when out and about where I got my work done so I can’t send enough praise his way. My mom, sister, niece and nephew have all gone to him and love his work too!

I took my 9yr old to get her ears pierced for the first time. This could not have gone any better. They even provided after care products!

I went to FTC for the first time in 2013 and have been coming back ever since. Justin is an incredibly well rounded artist who can tackle whatever style and idea you bring to him. The shop is clean and spacious, and the entire staff is courteous and professional.

Had my first tattoo done here. Great experience from start to finish. Candy, the front dest manager was polite, profession, and prompt in responding to emails with questions. The guest artist was awesome as well. I had a tattoo in mind but she gracefully offered another option that worked better. Very hospitable as well. I will be back for another tattoo very soon.

I had an appt at Flesh a couple weeks ago for my 1st tattoo in several years. I was a bit nervous, but the whole experience was really great, above and beyond my expectations!Everything was clean, professional, afforded privacy without feeling trapped. Even the scheduling was great--they got me in within a couple weeks of coming in to make the appt, and also called to ask me ahead of time if I could push the appt back by a few minutes, (rather than make me sit there waiting).Guy sat down with me for a consultation a week or so before the tattoo, and he could answer every question, knew how much detail was possible in a certain area, how much time the tattoo would take, etc. Very knowledgeable & friendly.The day of the tattoo, Guy had already drawn up the outline of the tattoo--and it looked great! He was very considerate, didnt hit me hard with the gun at first, until we both knew I was totally fine with it. He finished it faster than Id expected, and did such a great job, both with the art, itself, and with the application on me. I was so comfortable that I was literally almost asleep by the end of it all! Now, about 2 weeks into having the ink, the skin has pretty much healed and the tattoo still looks great!I highly recommend Flesh Tattoo Company, and will definitely be coming here in the future to get the rest of my ink! Thank you to Guy, & to the rest of the great staff at Flesh, for making this such a great experience!P.S. You dont have to worry about contracting COVID here. They take more precautions than my doctors office does, lol!

I recently got my 1st nose piercing done by Meghan here and I told her that I wanted a nostril piercing with a hoop. She didnt say no or advise against it, she simply pierced my nose and it was great, but than later on I found out from other piercers that she should have never pierced me with a hoop because the nose piercing would never heal right. I found that out the hard way after the first 9 weeks my piercing developed a bad irritation bump, and even after doing asprin paste and other methods the bump never went away. After talking to different piercers and other friends who had also had nose piercings they told me to get it switched to a flatback stud labret and have that in for at least 6 months before trying to switch back to the hoop.I know Meghan was just giving me what I asked for when I walked in but I really would have appreciated her giving me her honest opinion and telling me no you need to have a stud in for at least 6-8 months before you think about switching to a hoop for a better healing process. Also, when I tried going into Flesh multiple times to see Meghan to get my hoop piercing switched to a stud her availability was VERY slim, or the wait times were at least 2 and a half hours long. I get that she is a busy women and she has other clients to tend to but I was really disappointed that I couldnt go back to her to get my nose hoop switched to a stud; and I wished that she would have told me no to the hoop right away like so many other piercers informed me about after the fact.Other than this little mishap Meghan was great, I just hope she informs her other clients in the future about the importance of not getting pierced with a hoop first because of improper healing & instead advises them to get a nice stud for the meantime instead.

My daughter has been a patron of Flesh Tattoo. I decided to get some maintenance done and scheduled a date to finally get a tattoo. Everyeone is super friendly and educated in their line of expertise. Receptionist was easy to work with and staff, also. Cant wait to go back for my tat.

This shop is clean and everyone is very friendly. I have been to Megan for nearly all my piercings (5 ear piercings and belly button), she has don’t nothing less than a phenomenal job. She makes sure the placement is exactly what you want and makes sure you feel comfortable and happy with it before and after. She talks you through the process, never going anywhere else for a piercing!

ISO a good piercer today for my tragus and tattoo parlour for future. First time at Flesh. Deceiving and dishonest business. They like to appear professional and quote professional prices -200$ an hour, then the product delivered is amateur ink. The owner is also a liar and will offer 0 help when a bad product is delivered. Steer clear of this shop.

Went in after work for a cartilage piercing. Meghan was fantastic. The process was quick. I was in and out within 15-20 min. She walked me through the entire process and was clear and courteous. The lady at the front desk was also great. I will be coming back for all future piercings. Grateful to have stopped by.

Flesh is a clean, professional tattoo studio. Everyone Ive met on staff has been wonderful. Specifically, Ive been tattooed by Justin and Guy; theyre both great. I had heard some horror stories about going to stores that sold earrinfs and cheap jewelry and I had a bad experience getting my ears pierced. Meghan did an amazing job! She put my daughter at ease right away. She very personable and professional. Meghan walked us through all the care - which had totally changed from when I did it! I highly recommend Flesh for ear piercings!!

Overall my experience wasnt great. Actually I would say terrible! My tattoo artist was not personable. He seemed annoyed and upset throughout the entire appointment and I felt bad leaving after it was done. I dont care how good a tattoo artist is if they have terrible customer service Im never going back or recommend them.

Great service, friendly people, excellent work. Mike did a great job even though it was a small thing it meant a lot to me. (Too small a job for some other places in the area. Too bad.) Mike is such a great artist and a friendly guy. I would recommend or go back to him in a second. Meghan just pierced my septum and did an amazing job. Super nice, super informative, laid back and professional. The place was really clean and had a friendly atmosphere. I have several tattoos and the one I got most recently (a fern frond, done by Angel) is my favorite. The detail is amazing and Im always getting compliments when its visible. Angel is incredibly talented and ran the custom drawing by me a few times before my appointment and it was perfect; exactly what I wanted. She also worked with my existing tattoos to tie them together. She was highly recommended because of the detailed botanical idea I had in mind, and she delivered.The customer service at Flesh is the best. LeeAnn, the shop manager, takes great care with everyone who walks in the door to make sure theyre comfortable.The shop is super professional and clean and Im so grateful that theres a custom shop like this in Harford County.

I took my daughter to get her ears pierced and Meghan couldnt have been more lovely. She was great with my daughter when she was nervous and we got through it with very little pain. My daughter loves her earrings and they look great. Were a week out from getting them and we havent had any problems or pain. It was a wonderful experience and I will recommend Meghan to everyone!

This place is really nice! Got two big water color tattoos a few years ago. Not bad prices, good scheduling, friendly, nice atmosphere, and my artist Dane Mitchell was very considerate. Overall just a good experience.

We had the best experience at Flesh getting our 3 year olds ears pierced. She has had no swelling, no redness and no pain (after the initial pinch). Meghan was very precise and the holes are perfectly placed. Cannot thank you enough for such a great experience!

I got a nipple and belly button piercing here a few days ago. meghan was super friendly and informative and made sure that everything was marked up properly, and made my first time getting pierced by myself super comfortable and enjoyable! i’ll definitely come back here if i ever decide to get anything else pierced:)

I feel really bad saying writing this review and I wish I was able to give a 5 star review.My first experience with Flesh Tattoo Company was a great experience, everything was flawless - communication, artist and everything in between.The reason for the bad review:Recently I tried to set up another appointment to get more work done. I emailed the flesh email address on the website and I got a response back in less than 24 hours which was great but after that it falls downhill from there.To be fair: the Second time I wanted a tattoo it was short notice. I emailed the Saturday before and wanted it the following Saturday.After receiving my initial response to get my second tattoo (Two tattoos in one session) done I didnt hear anything back from them at all. I gave it a couple days and when I didnt hear back I emailed them again. I received a response (forget what the specific response was) but didnt hear back until I had to call and the person who answered the phone stated she didnt receive the images I wanted even though I sent them twice and she responded to me email previously. She then stated she didnt have any availability until the following month which is NOT what she said in her initial response for an appointment.My third try was last week (Week of 5/3/2021) when my fiance and I wanted to get a small tattoo for our dog we adopted during COVID. The same thing happened, I got a response back in less than 24 hours and again thats where the communication has fallen a part. I gave a wide range of dates my fiance and I would be available to get tattoos done at the same time. The first time they gave me a date, I was not able to respond right away because I work and I dont have my phone, that was around 2:00 PM that day I got a response about a day and time; I responded back a couple hours later and they said the spot got taken. The same thing happened again, I responded as quickly as I can and they said the spot got booked up.The last straw was when I got an email asking if one of the days and time would work was during Memorial Day weekend when both my fiance and I were not available and I stated that during the initial process.Please note I tried to called during the week around 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM and always got a voicemail.Unfortunately moving forward; I will not be going through Flesh Tattoo Company moving forward. I am not high maintenance at all, I am very flexible but the lack of communication and organization gave a bad taste in my mouth.If you can get an appointment you will have a good experience but for me, getting through the initial hurdle of trying to se up an appointment was very difficult. If anything changes, I will be more than happy to try again. Maybe the third time is the charm?

I highly recommend flesh!! Nick is my go to guy for all my tattoos hes got a great style of art and unique to only him. He is able to draw up any idea you have and make it work along your lines he has a great attitude and works with you through the little details to make sure your satisfied with your ink for life!! I highly recommend nick for your next or first tattoo!!!

I’m so angry with this place! i got a tattoo done by nick, he was good and fast but as it healed and over the coming months i’ve noticed that the ink has already faded majorly and that some of my tattoo was not colored in correctly. I was told i had to pay a 100$ shop minimum for a TOUCH UP?? no other artist or shop has ever charged me for a touch up. i do not recommend this place.

Ive been going to Flesh since they opened and I have never had a bad experience. Guy has been working an a piece for me for a few years because I cant afford to get it all done at once. Even after taking sometimes up to a year between sessions he remembers me and the work and jumps right in like we never stopped. When I first went in a just gave him an idea of what I wanted and he drew up a custom piece that was exactly what I wanted.The shop is super clean and everyone that works there is friendly and willing to help.any way they can. The owner is also great and has stopped in several times while Im there and seems to genuinely care about the customers.I send everyone I know who wants to get something done and no one has had a bad experience.

Flesh is hands down my favorite place to go and get tattooed. Nick is the best hands down. I went a few months ago for a small mountain piece and was blown away with the work that he did. I knew that I wanted him to do myatger piece that I had in mind. I sent over reference photos and Nick surpassed what I had in mind for the design. I sat for two and a half hours and it didnt even feel like it. He made sure that I was comfortable the whole time and frequently asked if I needed breaks. As the tattoo was done I fell more and more in love with it. Nick hands down tattooed my favorite piece! I would recommend flesh and Nick in a heartbeat! I cant wait to go for my next one!

I had an appt w/ Kirk. He didnt want to do my piece the way I wanted it and then passed me to another artist. Im not going to say he was mean or unprofessional, but I felt uncomfortable. But, Mike ended up doing my piece, and it is very nice.

Got my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd real tattoos here by Nick. My first 1 was a cover up and it is FANTASTIC. I love it along with the others I have gotten. Very clean and a great staff all in all. The cover up was on my ankle. The other 2 were on my shoulder and my wrist, same arm. Now I just have to fill in my sleeve. Im going to take things I want up and let Nick tell me where they should go. Love my tats!!!!!!!

My initial experience here was a bit of a misunderstanding (which could have led to a not so great time), but Alyssa (the on-point fabulous lady at the front desk) went out of her way to make it better for me. She and my artist Dane were patient, understanding, and produced a final product that I am thrilled to call a memorial piece for my stepbrother. I truly appreciate Alyssas efforts as well as Danes attention to detail in addition to his artistic talent. Flesh is lucky to have them on board! Thank you again for taking such good care of me - it wont be forgotten!

I got my nose pierced here last night and the piercer Meghan was absolutely amazing. She explained the procedure before during and after, went over the aftercare procedure after, absolutely amazing place, I hope to get more piercings there soon.

About to set my third appointment with Guy to continue working on a sleeve. I had a cover-up that I hated and didnt think anything could make it look good but Guy pulled it off and I love it! Will be seeing him for all future work, without a doubt. He works fast and is friendly and professional.

I had my first tattoo done at Flesh. They are professional, everything was clean and sterile, and I was very happy with my tattoo.

Very professional in there. Well kept and clean all around, but had an issue with my tattoo. Got roman numerals done and messed up on two letters. One of the X’s has a curve at the top which is easily noticeable at the top as well as the first X isn’t lined up correctly. The diagonal lines aren’t straight and it’s a few millimeters up, again very noticeable as well. Tattoos are not cheap and I know that very much but it was also quite pricy for the little amount of area I got covered as well compared to my friends who had better pieces of work done at other shops for a lower price. Decent place, but with the two clear mistakes I would not got there again and will be getting my letters fixed else where.

Just Eh. I went in the other day to get some jewelry. I called first but the lady couldnt hear me over their loud music. I was gonna look into getting some work done here but I just didnt get a good vibe from the place. Also their jewelry prices are crazy. I got 3 pieces and it was 72$! I have 17 piercings and i have bought my fair share of jewelry, even from studios. This was crazy. Maybe its just a MD thing. I think I was charged 20$ to put my rook in too. Usually if you buy the jewelry they will put it in for free. Idk. I probably wont be going back.

This is my 3rd tattoo from flesh. Everyone there is amazing and so funny. The atmosphere is great theyll even try to keep you company if your board. Mike did all 3 of my tattoos I have never been happier with them. Kept me laughing the whole time. Cant wait to go back and get my other ones done.

I never thought Id find myself in a tattoo parlor but my experience was great. I have suffered with headaches for years getting them at least 5 out of 7 days a week. Ive been to 4 different neurologists, had MRIs, 4 Botox treatments and probably tried most medicines available to try to alleviate my headaches all to no avail. I had heard about Daith piercings and started looking into it. At this point I figured I had nothing to lose, Id just have 2 extra holes in my head that I could let close up if it didnt work. It has only been 5 days but I have only had 1 minor headache and I think that might be because Im weaning off of some of the meds I was taking. I am ecstatic that so far for me, this procedure seems to be working! Meghan was wonderful, explaining every detail. Very professional. She had explained to me that there was a 50/50 chance of success based on what clients had reported back to them. I have to say to anyone that has struggled with headaches to give it a try. Hopefully these will continue to improve. Note: Most people have the side done where there headaches predominantly are but I had both done as mine are mainly in the center of my head on top. Flesh was very clean and I would definitely recommend them.

Stopped in and discussed a coverup. They put tape over my existing tatoo that is being covered up and then it was outlined with a marker as a reference. Then I scheduled my 1st and 2nd appointment and paid the deposit. I was told the deposit was for the artist to draw up the coverup based on the pictures that I sent to him and to hold my appointment time. At 12:35 ( 2 hrs before scheduled appointment) I recieved a text message stating that my appointment needs to be canceled. When I called to inquiry about times and the art work, I was told that the coverup mockup was never drawn and that he would draw it on my arm and make changes as needed.One would ask, how am I supposed to see the work clearly and approve if it is draw on my upper arm and shoulders.Place was extremely clean, with very friendly staff, but cant move forward as this all just doesnt seem right and got no respect for my time.Now after hoping to begin the process of getting this coverup , the whole process of finding an artist and studio start all over.

Set up a consultation with Guy and he was on time and seemed knowledgeable about the profession.This was to be my first piece.It didnt take long for me to get the feeling, he was annoyed with either me or the project I had in mind.I brought some ideas with me and all I seemed to get back was things he couldnt do and nothing in the way of suggestions on how to achieve what I was looking for.I am a black and white artist and understand line quality when it comes to paper not skin.I was hoping to see examples of what was possible but all I got was draw some things up and email them to meA tatoo is something I want......not something I need.A suggestion of a concept or a few examples of the possibilities would have gone a long way.

I got a tattoo on my wrist and I almost passed out half way through, but my tattoo artist Justin was so nice and got me a sprite. I would 10/10 recommend, plus Justin’s room is rly cool

Called 10 days in advance for appointment for myself and daughter who was in town for a limited time. Was told only option was a walk-in appointment with a single artist. Was told by one receptionist our name was put on a list and had to call at 11:30 that morning to schedule time. Called at 1130, no answer. Called back every 5 minutes until someone finally answered and was told that the artist, who was only doing walk-ins, was already booked (before the shop was even open for the day!) and that I should have let them know sooner... Guess 10 days is not soon enough and that if you arent part of the in crowd and have the artists personal numbers, this list ee were put on doesnt matter. Disappointed in the lack of professionalism....
