My second time visiting Tattoo Ritual and being treated to my desired modifications by the same artist, years apart, was absolutely wonderful. Vaughn definitely shows his expertise and talent of 17yrs, provides a positive atmosphere, keeps apt attention to detail as well as the wellbeing of his clients. He also works quickly and efficiently, even under time constraint, and never lets the quality of his artistry slip Made a repeat customer out of me and my mom, and will be willing to follow out of state to continue working with Him. @nycinkmaster

I have been following Artist’s work at Tattoo Ritual for some time now. I was impressed with their precise and detailed work. I live in NC and I book a flight just for my sleeves. Vaughn was very attentive with my request and brought my idea to life. The place is extremely clean and I highly recommend.

Came in for a walk-in yesterday and was so pleasantly surprised! Mike did a beautiful traditional-style piece for me. It came out better than I ever couldve expected. He was kind, professional, and really fun to talk to. All the staff are super friendly, and made it a really enjoyable walk in for me. Thank you Mike!!!!

Ive been coming to Tattoo ritual for years now and it is my favorite place. All the employees are kind and very helpful. The store is clean and very professional. So far i have 27 piercings and Angelina has been very informative and caring with each piercing. Mike has drawn and done all my tattoos thus far as well. Very satisfied and recommend everyone to come.

Absolutely loved both of my experiences here. This shop is my go-to spot.First I got 2 nipple piercings from Vaughn. He was extremely professional and gentle. They match and look beautiful.Next, I got a tattoo (set) from Jackie. She did an amazing job. I showed her a picture of a tattoo I wanted to replicate. I like my tattoo better than the tat I showed her! (Jackies drawing is symmetrical) She was so gentle, I barely felt it. She really took the time to make sure they match and are even. She is super sweet and cool to chat with too.Importantly, both the tattoos and the piercings were fairly priced, as well.The shop atmosphere itself is really nice too. Everyone that works there is really chill and nice. The shop is clean and organized.

I had my nipples pierced on Christmas eve; it was extremely pain, but my technician was very good and was able to help me through the process. I recommended her to my friend which also went and got hers pierced. We both have healed really well. I am now going back to change my Jewlery .

Vaughn is just amazing in every way! He has an amazing talent. Prices reasonable, and able to get an appointment right away, unlike most other artists. I also have a tattoo done by Jackie, and she is also amazing! Keep doing what youre doing Vaughn, you cant be beat!

I had a great experience getting my latest tattoo and piercing here. Hunter, was the best. He nailed my vision and added his special touch. Von, was great as well with my nose piercing. I would recommend if you’re looking for a cleanly, friendly, and professional atmosphere.

The entire staff is a pleasure to deal with. My artist is Vaughn and he is great never received a bad tattoo. This place works with all budgets.... I always say to myself your paying for something great.... and this place always hits it out of the park.

Went for my first ear piercings about a month and a half ago, staff was awesome, ears are healing great. Strongly recommend.

Von is very good at what he does. He listens to what you want and fulfills your needs. Very detail oriented. I will return often!!

I travel all the way from NJ to get my tattoos done by Vaughn. I had a portrait of my Mother done and he exceeded my expectations. The shop is very clean and the staff is amazing.

I got tattooed about a year ago not the friendliest person tattooed me seemed like a bother and a year later my 8th tattoo I have 1st one from here and it still hasn’t healed properly I have 7other tattoos not from here and they are all lovely and no issues this one was just done way too deep it’s raised from time to time for extended periods of time it’s itchy and it’s really sad because I did love it now it’s just something I wish I could rip off because of the way it was done

I got my third earlobe and a cartilage piercing done here…never again. The piercings caused me so much trouble, way overpriced, and cheap jewelry (they didn’t even have titanium when I went). I got my second lobes done at the mall: no problem. Got my septum done at another place: no problem. The problem is this place, definitely do not recommend for piercings

Ive gotten two tattoos now by Johnnie and they are amazing! I gave him my ideas and he listened and did a fantastic job. My husband got one too last minute while waiting for me to get mine.

Excellent work. They tattooed my brother, one of the best pieces Ive seen, and Im excited to get to this shop to have one of their timeless pieces done!

Don’t let my low rating confuse you. They do amazing work in this shop.I’ve been in several tattoo shops. Tattoo ritual is an unique experience, in that, everyone who works there is extremely rude.I got tattooed by the owner, I was recommended from a friend. He was very stand off-ish, which is fine because I don’t expect everyone to be outgoing, but as a business owner myself, also in the service industry, from time to time we have to accommodate the customer.So aside from just flat out horrible service why am I taking the time to write this review?I’ve tried to reach out to make another appointment and was denied service, when I inquired why, I was ignored.I personally feel this was a issue due to my race, my skin is white, the owner’s skin is not, I don’t hold it against him, but I don’t think he’ll be in business for much longer, conducting himself as he does.

Went to get my Tragus pierced today, when I tell you it was an amazing staff, it was truly amazing such nice and kind people, they care about their customers. Vaughn did an amazing job with the piercing very gentle and the place is super clean would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be coming back for a tattoo next time too.

Saturday’s are walk ins and it couldn’t have been more organized. Jackie did two small pieces for me. Neat is an understatement. Loving my new tattoos. She was the sweetest! It was an all around positive experience and I will definitely be back.

I was super nervous about getting a tattoo, its a huge decision! However, Tattoo Ritual had super friendly staff and was wonderful. The receptionist helped me to resize the picture I brought in, and the artist (Kevin) was understanding and patient. Everything was very clean and in order. The atmosphere is nice with lots of art decorating the walls. Ill definitely be back for my next tattoo!

Me son brought me here for his pieces which were done by Jackie. I have now gotten 3 pieces by her as well. Shes so sweet, kind and gentle. I told her today she makes me not want to get outta the chair she’s so gentle. Everyone at Tattoo Ritual is great they listen to your ideas and make masterpieces for you. They are also honest and very clean. You will not be disappointed!! One thing you will be, is hooked!!! 😉

These people complaining are babies (karen/kens) Vaughn has not only done a beautiful job integrating different designs I have had, but has also made suggestions (yes thats right suggestions, not demands) as how it might look better. My six different visits has resulted in a gorgeous back tat, that represents me. VAUGHN IS THE BOMB. cry babies should go elsewhere..

Amazing work and attention to detail. Been going to Vaughn for over 5 years now and was so happy for him when he opened up his own shop. All the artist are professional and do great work. Keep it up guys. See you again soon.

This tattoo shop is horrible when in for matching tattoos for my wife and I and im so disappointed with there work I let the owner know and he brushed me off to busy taking care of his kids that was running around the shop. You should really turn your shop into a daycare. Now I have to go to another shop to fix our tattoos terrible customer service.

Went in for another piercing, for my 3rd Helix. To finalize my triple heliex. I was a walk in on Wednesday and Vaughn was available. I was happy to have had him, not only was easy going he was helpful with the placement and actual act of piercing. The one he did is the lowest one with the stud. He changed out my other two to make the look more complete.We also chatted about what types of tattoos he specialized in. He said he does everything but he enjoys realism. Ive been throwing around an idea for a while and I looked at his portfolio and seemed pretty good. He has a lot of good reviews on Google and Insta. I book an appointment with him. As of the time of this review, hes booked about a month out. Pretty excited. Nice guy with talent.

Terrible communication. I walked in to set an appointment with the receptionist and they were quick to take my deposit $100. I had to leave town and planned a trip to come back for my tattoo which is a cover up and I explained that from the beginning TWICE! And Twice Im from out of state. She booked the wrong dates but luckly I called the day after to confirm to find this out and They told me to send my pics and call a few days ahead to confirm my appointment. I send pictures for my cover up and 4 days later a couple days before my appointment they message me to cancel my appointment and they dont do cover ups unless a consultation. I called immediately and they told me to come pick up my deposit and cancel or they will just take my $100 because the receptionist failed to remember I was doing a cover up. It was such an inconvenience and a waste of my time and money for a paid trip.

I have a friend who went here to get a nose piercing, upon her getting there she was rushed into signing paperwork and getting the piercing done as fast as possible. When they did the piercing, they missed the first time and put the ring in crooked the second time so she had four holes in her nose. After having her piercing in for 2 days it was throbbed so much so I took her back to get it taken out. I have to just say, the woman who I talked to was EXTREMELY rude. Hardly any customer service. Pulled us into the back room to get rhe ring out. She used FREAKIN WIRE CUTTERS on my friends newly pierced nose to cut the ring off. After the ring was taken out she didnt even clean the hole and left us in the back so we had to make our way back outside on our own. I was very upset by the lack of professionalism and cleanliness at this establishment.

Mike my tattoo artist did a wonderful job🔥🌟 I didnt have any complaints with his work and Im a hard person to please. He doesnt let you back down once you get started hes not going to let you quit 😂 hes great and I would definitely go back 💯😁

I have been coming to Tattoo Ritual since the first day Vaughn opened. I was actually Vaughn’s first tattoo under Tattoo Ritual. Very knowledgeable staff. Vaughn is one of the best artists On Long Island. Love him!

Went in for a consult and I think it was the owner who seemed inconvenienced that I was even there. He wouldn’t give me an appointment and just told me to come back later. I came back and he was talking to me about how he didn’t like the idea of the design and brushed me off to help someone else so I left. Unprofessional, rude, heard he can copy a picture to some extent but definitely not an artist...I feel bad for both his clients and employees. I guess they don’t know any better.

I came in then other day for a stud removal and piercing. I doubt I waited even 5 minutes before the owner saw me.Good energy. Good vibes. Good service.Definitely coming back for some ink.

I got my tragus pierced last night. I felt NO pain what so ever. The piercer Knew what he was doing. Im going to be going back to get the other tragus done as well as my smiley pierced.The shop was very clean(front and back of shop) EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was mellow, good vibes and was claiming.Opened all objects in front of me, and put on fresh new gloves in front of me, he also was very Knowledgeable about piercings!NO DOUBT ILL BE BACK!!!!! And Im bringing 2 of my sister in laws when I do.**Good experience for first timers also since such a mellow place

So as a former apprentice piercer at this place I HIGHLY encourage you to go elsewhere for your piercing and tattoo needs. The owner does not properly sterilize his jewelry prior to piercing nor takes the proper precautions to ensure his workplace is sanitary. Nor does he give respect to customers, he just wants to get you in and out as fast as he can. He also lets his children run rapid throughout the shop. That includes my piercing station as well as the other rooms for tattooing. In which I have already had an incident where his children bumped into me during a procedure. I had addressed this issue to him as well as the cleanliness of the shop and he had a spastic outrage and proceeded to call me slurrs and threatened to assault me. SO IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE ANYTHING LESS THAN HUMAN I SUGGEST YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND ITS NASTY OWNER.

Treatment of customers is disgusting, the shop is unsanitary and the owner is unprofessional.I’ve gotten a couple tattoos here.Would STEER CLEAR.Edit: (I never said the work was bad, the tattoos are fine, just unsanitary, unprofessional, not punctual, and cant handle criticism apparently. I have no reason to post this other than to warn others. Just putting it out there. There are more respected shops close by.)

I have 7 tattoos and 6 of them were done by the owner Vaughn and 1 was done by Kate. They are awesome and this is the only place I would go to get a tattoo... Love this place!!! Very very friendly staff..... BEST PLACE BY FAR!!!

I been going here for years. I either see Vaughn the owner or Jackie! Both incredibly talented...Jackie always goes out of her way for me what ever I need. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

If you want a real artist that actually knows how to tattoo, vaughn is your man. You want clean work ? vaughn is your man.

I came for a simple nostril piercing walk in and the service was super fast, but it took my piercer a few tries to get the piercing through the hole which was a bit worrisome. Nose looks good though

This place is totally unprofessional no one was at the desk when you walk in and a bunch of people were sitting waiting for someone to help them including myself. I never got my piercing done due to this I went there 4 times and was not able to be helped. Disgusting

It’s a nice place to get tattoos but they do not care about covid guidelines at all so if that’s important to you, find a new place. No one was wearing a mask and it’s a very small studio

They were nice, but the cost was pricey. I ended going somewhere else and paid $140 where tattoo ritual was charging me $300.
