I came in as a walk in yesterday the 22nd, and everyone in the shop was amazing, so helpful & beyond kind. I believe bugg did my tattoo & let me say shes awesome! I have 8 other tattoos but none of them have came out as pretty or dainty as this one. I paid 100 dollars for it & i honestly think thats a fair price.

I’m here from NC and wanted to come in for a tattoo date appt while visiting my best friend and booked online. The staff was friendly and professional and responded promptly. When it came time for our tattoos we got Kayla Jade, and she was the best! Her personality and work was amazing and I am so happy with my experience! Thank you Kayla & New Skool tattoos! Will definitely be returning next time I’m in town.

Took my daughter in for a piercing as a walk in. We were lucky enough to meet Abbey. Not only was she extremely professional but friendly and compassionate as well. Entire place was spotless and had us in and out within ten minutes. Highly recommend!

I went in for my second piercing and the piercer not only ignored my request for a higher piercing location but then tried to gaslight me into thinking it would look fine after I already expressed I didnt want it that low on my ear. It makes it impossible to pair any of my earrings because of this.Writing this about 8 months later because I thought I would get used to it, but after all this time Im still incredibly disappointed.

I saw Phil for a tattoo at New Skool and had an amazing experience. I met with Alloy for my consultation and to set up the appointment. She was so kind and welcoming and answered all my questions. Phil is a true master of his art, an incredible tattoo artist. He made me feel at ease and confident. My tattoo turned out better than I could have hoped. They did a good septum piercing and third lobe piercing. Also one of the people have a miata so hell yeah.

Hands down the best parlor Ive ever been to. Joe and Phil are very welcoming and genuine. The artist, Phil, obviously cared to give me exactly what I wanted, took the time to go through our options and he perfected the work I had in mind! Joe is super awesome, a great dude to talk with during my visit. The experience during my tattoo was very comfortable, too! I highly, highly recommend this place for any procedure you have in mind!!

Family business forsure, never felt as comfortable as I did getting a tattoo in my life than I did here 🖤 everyone there is a such a differently unique artist in their own way and I will always come back here, yall should to 🤷‍♂️

Charged 100$ for single line wouldn’t have done it if that was the case just needed a minor fix was missing a single Roman numeral. Paid 100$ for the whole tattoo… don’t come here it’s a scam. Very disappointed.

Steven Panik always does amazing work for me. Id follow him to any tattoo shop but everyone I met at New Skool were super friendly and made me feel at ease when I came to get a memorial piece for my dad.

I got a tattoo today from Chris, and it was absolutely amazing!! He was very kind and careful when doing it and i had guests with me and it was just a good time! i didn’t get their names but i spoke to a few other workers and everyone was so cool! the tattoo came out wonderful as well! very great work.

I went in to get a horse shoe earring for my cartilage piercing and they had exactly what I was looking for. The staff is amazing, they are so inviting and friendly. Most piercers dont work on Sundays but she was in and I was so happy. She changed my piercing for me whereas the shop up the street from them wouldnt even sell me an earring. I will be going back next week for a cartilage piercing..

There isnt enough good things to say about this shop and the people in it. Alloy Ash did an amazing job bringing my tattoo to life, and a year later it is still beyond perfect and vibrant. Lots of color! Her gem work is superb and her attitude is even better! The shop is clean and Everyone there is so personable!

I just got my first tattoo there this past Friday night. The staff was very friendly and informative, the artist (Phil) was amazing, both in the work done, and in conversing with me. Took me as a late walk-in with no hassle whatsoever. Place was very clean, very professional, and very comfortable. I would recommend anyone looking for work should go here, and if I get another one, I definitely will myself. I have received so many compliments on the piece, but especially on the colors. The staff was very helpful and courteous on first approach. Ty did my tattoo and she was amazing! Really cool, makes sure your comfortable. You can tell she likes what she does. Its been a personal struggle finding a place to get new ink where the people dont make you feel like your a statistic or just another canvas. Im definitely coming back for more! First, let me say that I spent months looking for a shop with a group of artists I trusted to start and finish an entire sleeve for me. I found that place and more. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The artist I chose was Phil. This guy is brilliant. His work is second to none. Fair prices and he has dozens of awards for his work. He is extremely personable and easy to talk/joke with during the entire session. I cannot wait to have more work done and I highly suggest anyone looking for high caliber work to check this place out. Also, remember kiddies, always tip your artist.

Ive gotten all of my tattoos here and I enjoy it so much. They do great work, the colors they use are so vibrant. Theyll work with you on whatever you need, Spent about a half hour talking about what I wanted for my tattoo while Jimmy tried sketching the tattoo I wanted. Very friendly, and good pricing as well. Havent been anywhere else, wont go anywhere else. Plan on getting more tattoos from them soon.

Went here a couple of months ago to get my cartilage pierced- by far the best piercing experience Ive ever witnessed. they were kind, very sanitary, thorough with explanations, and constantly made sure I knew what was happening. had the piercing since january, and havent had any problems with it- no infection, no bumps, nothing. also, they are incredibly fair-priced; it was 30 dollars to get mine done, which is fantastic based on what ive seen from other shops. all in all great :)

My name is Kelley... got two piercings from them...And honestly it’s not about the piercings great work of course but the people was absolutely charming , inviting, just all-around nice people. My daughter and I sat and talked with them for at least a half an hour or more after by the front desk with a couple of them so pleasant, so sweet.we all laughed so much...great time!!!

New Skool is a very clean establishment with helpful and talented people. I stopped in last Monday to inquire about adding a background to a 3yr old tattoo. It was suggested that I see Phil and an appointment was scheduled for Wednesday. Phil knew exactly what I wanted and the background he completed exceeded my expectations. I will never go to another place for ink again!

Ive never had such great work done in such little time...and not only that I was very happy with the price!!! If I ever get another tattoo Im definitely coming here and requesting Phil!!! Also the staff is friendly.

Had an amazing experience with the woman who did my tattoos. She was very pleasant and lovely. The whole staff was patient while some technical difficulties got worked out.

WAY back in my late teens they pierced my eyebrow and one of my 3 nipples. They did my little brothers first tattoo and I watched them pierce my former friends septum. It crunched on the way through. Im so glad it hurt her because shes a C you Next Tuesday. I just booked an appointment for some new work ! Im excited!

Not completely happy. No time to do anything and seems overcharged but have seen amazing work from them. Only issue is that they want to put their own twist on everything. They want to make it their own art piece so they will talk you into changing it up a bit.

Absolutely love this place damn good tattoo artist and piercing come out great... Never had a problem as far as customer service. All work is done in a timely and neatly fashion. Also very clean everything is clean and fresh.... They deserve more than a five.. 😀👍👌

A few years ago I received a belly button piercing from here. They completely messed it up, it was angled way too far forward making it impossible to wear dangle jewlery. The bottom of the regular stud jewlery would literally sit completely inside my belly button. It was extremely uncomfortable, I ended up taking it out.

I am extremely happy with my tattoo the lady who did mine was extremely nice and professional she took her time to help design the perfect tattoo for me awesome job chickie and p.s. i love the pink bear shoes 😉 thank you

Friendly but I got 3 words written on my arm and Ive never seen lines so uneven and different proportions for a tattoo. Go here for mediocre work.
