Rich is amazing. Ive gotten several single needle pieces and get compliments on them all the time.The shop itself is a great atmosphere and all the artists and staff are friendly and knowledgeable.I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Was in town for the Alkemy grand opening. Stopped by for their flash specials. Everyone in the shop was super welcoming and accommodating. Kevin is a super quality artist and overall nice guy. Fun traditional vibe at the shop that also was cozy and cool to hang out in!

Having spent at least 50 hours with Rich (2 full sleeves and half a back piece), I can offer the highest possible recommendation of his talent, professionalism, humor and most importantly… his results. The art is without a doubt, absolutely gorgeous. If you have any interest in Japanese style ink, he is the guy to see.

New to Jersey and needed a new artist over here. Carly did not disappoint! She did an amazing job on both of my tattoos. One of them being one of her flash pieces. Will definitely be back to see her.The shop was super clean and loved my whole experience.

Central Ave is the best :) Rich Cahill is about to finish up my Japanese style full sleeve -my boyfriend has both of his arms fully sleeved up by Rich as well and we couldnt be more in love with them. Highly recommend him and his work. Such a comfortable, professional and fun environment to be tattooed in. Ive been tattooed by almost every staff member in the shop and always have a wonderful experience. Kevin Regan recently tattooed a beautiful chrysanthemum on my neck & created such a comfortable experience for me. Love these guys!

I got both of my shins tattooed by Rich and it was an amazing experience. The shop is beautiful and comfortable, and he made me feel so welcome. He was precise and didn’t mind having to redo the stencil to get them perfect. It was also fast and painless compared to what I had envisioned. I will definitely come back and recommend him to anyone.

Been here a few times now and have gotten tattooed by John. Very easy going and friendly guy. Every session is good conversation with great solid work. Check out their IG for yourself. The whole shop is filled with really talented people. And any artist I’ve talked to has been kind and personable. The shop itself is clean, and has this very comfortable at ease feeling when you walk in, like a place that’d be cool to kick back and listen to music. I’ve always enjoyed going to different shops and getting tattooed by different people usually, but after coming here I think this is where I’ll go from now on.

Went in today just expecting to schedule an appointment but ended up getting a tattoo. Nick was so nice and gave me exactly what I wanted. All the staff I interacted with were great. Friendly, informed, kind, just all around a great experience. I love my new tattoo and for sure will be back. Highly recommend.

Rich was an absolute pleasure to get tattooed by. With over 30 years of experience, his work speaks for itself.The micro hannya he did on my finger is absolutely incredible and hands down one of my favorite pieces I have.The shop as a whole is extremely clean. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and beyond helpful also. I would highly suggest anyone looking to.gdt tattooed to check them out.Side note, the panther on my hand is NOT from Rich or anyone from Central Ave Tattoo.

One of the best places to get ink in New Jersey! Baby John and Rich Cahill are two of the most talented artists around! Very comfortable place to go for a first tattoo even; everyone takes good care of you to make sure you are comfortable while getting inked. Love everyone here!

Can’t imagine a better experience! I wanted cherry blossoms — but like the ones you see in old Japanese scrolls. Rich Cahill did not disappoint. His composition and detail work — just amazing. It takes a while to get on his schedule but he is DEFINITELY worth the wait. Thanks Rich - you took a patchwork of scars and turned them into art.

Now This tattoo parlor, is one of my top 4 best. Excellent environment, excellent staff, and one of my favorite tattoo artists of them of all is Brent Carpenter aka Brent Bonesaw. That was before he left in 2019 when he transferred to the one in Hillsborough. And now hes in Edison called Classic Tattoo Club. Personally, I this place has a real history. It use to be Immortal Ink, until later on they did some renovations. Still, Great Tattoo shop ever!!!. I strongly recommend this one👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯

Scheduled an appointment with Nick as a surprise Birthday Gift for my daughter. Nick suggested a gift card and guided me through the process.The shop is clean, inviting and Nick is a very talented Artist. He does beautiful work!I highly recommend this shop & Nick!

I scheduled an appointment with Rich Cahill in January. I took off multiple days from work ahead of time to get a tattoo done by him in April. I receive an email from him saying he can’t do the original date, and requests I come in a month later than I had originally scheduled. When I email back telling him I won’t push the tattoo back that far, buddy has the audacity to tell me I can find someone who can work with my “demands”. Extremely unprofessional. Avoid this guy at all costs.

The shop is very well kept, the staff is friendly & helpful. Baby John is very attentive towards his craft. You can tell he deeply cares about client comfortability, he is knowledgeable & exhibits a sincere drive for perfection in every tattoo he does!

This place is awesome. I got tattooed by the owner, John. Total professional with a ton of experience who knows what he’s doing. Can’t comment on the other artists other than their work on Instagram looks really solid. The shop does walk-ins on Sundays which is very cool and unpretentious of them. I can’t say enough great things about this place. I’m really happy with the work I had done at Central Ave.

They make me super happy and warm and fuzzy. They plays guitar for me while I sleeps. They have fishies the girl that tattoos is purty her name nick she in back corner and wears corduroys. Love
